His shoulder slumped slightly as he lowered himself to sit, leaning forward so he could rest his elbows on his knees. He waits a moment, letting the silence pass between them, before he finally turns his gaze towards her again. "Maybe we can figure it out together?" His brows furrowed slightly as he held her eyes. "If you can bear to?" He understood that some would prefer not to associate with him and he understood but, somehow, he felt like perhaps she could relate.
