ughhh i'm going to write so much about this but like
people can have their opinions, it's okay when others don't like characters i love
but i can't STAND the JAYCE HATE right nOW.
like Jayce didn't love and care so much for Viktor throughout the whole series for people to just write him off when he makes a MISTAKE when he's gone INSANE from the goddamned ARCANE and can't THINK CLEARLY.
and maybe it's denial talking but like c'mon, i'm pretty sure Viktor ain't permanently dead. i don't think the scene had enough weight (even though it for sure had A LOT of weight) for him to not come back.
so PLEEEEEEEASSSEEEE give Jayce the credit he deservessssssss.

i think theres this idea in the general public that the "best" fanfic gets turned into real books like 50 shades of grey. but the truth is that the best fanfic can never be published as an actual book because its intricately woven into the canon material so its inseparable even if you change the names
#no shade (ha) to 50 shades. ive never actually read it so idk if its good#but imo the idea of creating an au fanfic thats so divorced from the original work is boring! why are you even making a fanfic atp#the only good fanfic is when you can tell the author loves the source material and uses it#the best fanfics ive ever read could never be published as actual books because it wouldnt work without the context of the original story

Really says something about the dire state of offerings for men interested in sewing their own clothes that even searching things like "interesting men's clothing patterns" brings up articles with links to four or five whole websites that primarily offer admittedly nice but practically identical patterns for making button-ups and work pants and maybe a varsity/bomber jacket if you're lucky.
(Branching out into historical costuming for everyday wear is like your one shot at variation, and even then, the ratio of men's to women's patterns on every website is frustrating to say the least.)
Patternmakers as a trans man I am begging you. Give me a little more to work with here.

For many of years I had this tradition of drawing Wirt and the beast once a year to see how much I have improved, then depression hit in 2023 and couldn't continue, but it left so really amazing art in the process
