in an interview at offtherpg.com Toby Fox talked about how OFF helped inspire some of his characters. Papyrus was inspired by the first boss of the game, Deadan. And that Sans was inspired by Zacharie. the jazz music for Napstablook was also inspired by OFF's soundtrack!

he also went on to talk about how he is one of the new composers for the new soundtrack! he talks about how its a complicated feeling working on the soundtrack because of how it influenced him back then. he reveals that he composed a lot of the new boss themes and he even had help from Camellia (a well known japanese composer and musician for his tracks on many rhythm games) to make the new Zone 1 battle theme!

the music track in the reveal trailer was also composed by Toby Fox!

and at the end of the interview he states that all the music he has composed for the new soundtrack will be FREE

hi charlie!! i want to get into OFF because i've heard it's a good game... what's it about :o?

its a french rpg maker game where you control a character named the batter, and you have to travel to these different zones in your world where you have to defeat the guardians of each zone!

the first character you meet is a cat named the judge, and he immediately breaks the fourth wall and addresses you, the player. he tells you about what the batter needs to do and teaches you how to battle. theres also zacharie, who is the merchant and also breaks the fourth wall.

Each zone has a guardian. Deadan is the guardian of Zone 01 (hes my favorite <3333), Japhet is the guardian of Zone 02, and Enoch is the guardian of Zone 03. There are also four different elements that keep the world alive: Smoke, Metal, Plastic, and Meat. The workers of the zones, called the Elsens, are the ones that manufacture the elements. But theres something happening to the Elsens; they are becoming Burnt. This turns them into sort of monsters, and you have to fight them, along with fighting the normal enemies, which are specters that you have to exterminate from the zones.

You have to get through all the zones in order to get to The Queen, who is the ruler of all the zones.

it really helps to have a guide for some of the puzzles bc they are a bit hard, but yeah! overall its a really cool game, and it has some really cool characters and lore :3 i dont really want to spoil too much if you plan on playing it or watching someone play it, thats why my description was kind of brief hehe :)

Pyrox: They graded us on different aspects of teacher and parental competency and then gave us a final, cumulative grade. I got an A in entertainmet and a D- in responsibility.

Laxhand: This was instigated by one of the Polly kids wasn’t it?

Hyxley, deadan: Well, it’s not like any of your students ever come up with and execute well thought-out, creative, and effective counterattacks, so yes, that seems likely.

Laxhand: [sputters indignantly]

Brazil police operation in Rio favela leaves 13 dead

An operation by Brazilian military police in Rio de Janeiro on Friday (Feb 8) left at least 13 people dead in a number of city center favelas, authorities said.

They were among 14 people who sustained gunshot wounds in the operation close to the Santa Teresa neighborhood, health officials said.

Firefights often break out in favelas during battles between rival gangs or when the police launch operations to combat drug trafficking.

The police said they conducted operations from Friday morning due to "shoot-outs in the area caused by the dispute between rival criminal groups," with local reports indicating that two gangs had been in a turf war since Wednesday.

On Twitter police added that they had "shot 12 criminals" during the operation.

As well as rising crime, human rights groups have hit out at the security forces for excessive use of force, particularly in favelas.

In 2017, 1,127 people died during police operations in Rio state, the Public Security Forum NGO said -- a 90 percent increase since 2014.

Also in 2017, 104 security agents were killed, mostly when off duty.

So basically Spidrien called his AI Plagg, right? But... Mari has the Black Cat Ring and she knows the real Plagg? So.. is the kwami name different or did Adrien idk. Take inspo from Grimoire he found at his father's?

basically Adrien doesnt know who Plagg really is (as in the kwami). I wanted his AI to have Karen's sass but still wanted to name it something close to home. hence, plagg.

Adrien hears Marinette talking to herself on some occasion and hears the word 'Plagg' When he asks her about it, she brushes it off saying Plagg was one of her imaginary friends when she was three and that she was just thinking about him. Adrien thinks it's cute (he thinks everything Marinette does is cute, that simp) and so when he creates the AI he names it Plagg.

When Marinette finds out he has named the AI plagg, she is both flattered and embarrassed. She hopes the kwami of destruction never comes out of the miracle box and finds out his mighty name has been taken because of her.

This was confirmed to us by Sanyu FM and Deedan. She even went ahead to post about it on Social. The talented MC said that she was excited to start her new journey…
