I just like the idea that Martlet tries to stop Clover from eating gunpowder, but they just keep eating it (and somehow magically keep finding it somewhere), so she just starts giving her kid poppy seeds and saying that it's gunpowder

Alternate Clover Version:

Clover: I just called to tell you. I'm not angry, just disappointed. I understand why you did it. You were scared, confused and just wanted to go home. You were also probably angry about what those monsters did to the other humans as well.

But they weren't truly evil. They were just misguided people simply following orders and brainwashed by propaganda. They didn't know any better. The point of my cause was to help them see the truth and find a peaceful solution. I didn't want any monsters to die. Nobody had to die, whether they're human or monster.

Yet... strangely... It's because of you, that... That the Desert Sancturary had won. With the King, the Royal Guard and a lot of the Greater Underground dead... it was easy for the Sancturary to take control. We are in charge now; the war has been called off and we're finding a better way to break the barrier.

Some survivors of the Greater Underground aren't happy about this. They blamed me for what happened, but their numbers are too small to actually do anything about it... I guess it's easier for them to blame the humans, then to realize that both sides are at fault.

But the Sancturary still treats me like a hero. Despite everything, they still want to help humans, including me. I'm so lucky to have true friends like them... Ceroba is technically the new ruler, but Starlo, Marlet and I help her out. Even Dalv is trying his best to help us.

I think we have some good policies and a fair compromise for the broken kingdom... Humans that haven't destroyed any monsters will not be attacked, but humans that have dusted monsters are fair game... So, it's probably for the best you don't come back here.

... God... it's so quiet here now. Now that so many monsters are gone, it feels so clear what I should have done. What I should have said... I... Sigh. You know. Just daydreaming here. But... I really should have guided you to the Sancturary myself and kept you there, when I had the chance.

UT Desert Sancturary: Sancturary's Bitter Victory

(A Neutral Ending, that happens when Frisk kills everyone, except for the people in the Desert Sancturary... Clover and his allies won, but at what cost?)

Sans: "It's been a while, huh? ... Things have gotten pretty depressing here. Almost everyone in the Greater Underground disappeared overnight. But no one in the Desert Sancturary was harmed. The survivors have mixed feelings about this. It was complete bedlam. Clover finally got the victory he wanted, but he didn't like how it happened. Despite everything, he really wanted to end things peacefully. He's a pretty decent guy."

"The Mayor of the Sancturary was forced to become the new ruler. A few of the Greater Underground survivors didn't like that. Some monsters blame Clover and the Sancturary over what happened. But since there were more Sancturary Monsters now, they didn't put up much of a fight."

"It's gotten quieter. But everyone is still hanging on to hope. Clover and his allies believe that using living human souls might work on the barrier... The New Ruler declares that any humans that haven't killed monsters will be spared... So, it's probably wise for you to not come back here... See ya... And go to hell."
