As you think the thought, it's as if Santiago (in tune with you as he always is) is capable of reading your mind. His head turns back to you, meeting your gaze, mouth pulling into an amused smile as he sees you watch him. Then he winks.

It's all it takes. That simple gesture sends an electric jolt through your spine that has you bolt up in your seat and clamp your thighs together to stem the sensation.

There is a minute change in his facial expression and if William Miller hadn't been a peripheral part of your life for as many years as it's been, it would've been far too easy to miss. The straight grim line of his mouth relaxing ever so slightly, the line of his brow smoothing out, as he tilts his head by a fraction of an inch to give you an imperceptible nod.

"Alright," he says.

Then he just... leaves, gently closing the door behind himself with a soft click of the hinge, leaving you and Santiago, still inside you, still with his pants pulled to his ankles, in shock and confusion.

And that's the story of how Will finds out about Santiago and you, but decides to mind his own business.

♡modified stretches/workouts are your best friend, it's actually very easy to do stretches without getting outta bed or even moving your blanket!!

♡open up your blinds!!!!!

♡ensures and similar brands w/ extra protein for days you absolutely can't get out of bed

♡can't shower? No problem. You can get bathing cloths at any pharmacy otc (you can purchase with an HSA card as well!) Just add water to the pack no soap or rinsing needed

♡any food is better than no food!!!

♡90 minute rice + tuna packs are good 5 minute meals w/ some substance. You can add any add ins you want(I add fried egg and avocado)

♡download the finch app!! It's super cute and like a self care tamagotchi

♡allow yourself the time to rest

♡have a self love/feel good Playlist ready

♡rewatch your fave childhood show/movie. Anything that's been longer than 5 years since you've seen it works best imo

♡pedialyte AND water to keep hydrated, add a pinch of pink salt to the water

♡mix water, rubbing alcohol and essential oils to make an air freshner spray for bedding and clothing

a/n: this is a ver self indulging fic. I normally try and characteristics of y/n out, but like i said this is very self indulging. It's just a little drabble i came up with while tryna stop be so insecure abt my hair. Also this was supposed to be posted yesterday but i forgot :)

background info:

you and 'toshi met while he was playing volleyball in poland and recently you guys just moved back to Japan (you are not from japan). Also, Kiyoomi is a single dad.

Since moving to Japan life has been full of seeing new places and meeting 'Toshi's friends and family. It was a fresh start for you considering you have never been to such a foreign place, but you always felt comfortable when you were with Wakatoshi.

It was his idea to move back and you could see how his eyes lit up at the thought. Since coming back 'Toshi has tried to regularly keep in contact with his friends and plan hangouts. Today was one of those days. 'Toshi was going to be going out with his friend, Kiyoomi, for the night and you would stay in and watch his beautiful baby girl. She had the biggest dark brown doe eyes and perfect curls surrounding her face. While the two men were out. Your night was filled with cartoon toys and a very energetic five year old.

You always heard how smart the little girl was through texts and pictures shared between Wakatoshi and Kiyoomi, but you didn't realize it went pass just academics. While pausing the movie to use the restroom Keiko, kiyoomi's daughter, decided to share something.

"y/n chan... do you like my hair?" The little girl asked. Her eyes got bigger beginning to fill with tears. Getting down on your knees you immediately hugged the small child to comfort her.

"ofc i do. Why wouldn't i," you responed. You couldn't believe these thoughts were coming up, and were worried what they would lead too.

"w-well people at my school have been commenting on it. Saying that it's much different then their hair, a-and my papa has hair like me so he wouldn't get it," You hugged the sniffling girl tighter in your arms as she explained. Your heart felt a little tighter hearing her explanation. "i wish i could just have straight hair like you and everyone else,"

Her final sentence is what hurt you the most. For years you have been straighting and doing everything in your power to keep your hair straight. Even keeping it pulled back and braided when you and 'toshi went to the beach. It hurt to hear the little girl having the same thoughts as a grown women like you. Tears started to pool at your eyes but you wanted to appear strong for the little girl in you arms. Leading down to kiss the top of her head you whispered to her, "oh baby... can i tell you a secret," at that her red eyes peered up at you like whatever you said could make of break her whole night. "my hair is actually a lot like yours. more curly then wavy. i'll show you. Come with me."

The little one trailed behind you to the bathroom. Wiping her eyes every once in a while on the way there. You could tell she was skeptical on you, but she would stay silent because she trusted you. She trusted you. The guilt was already beginning to settle in. "do you have a spray bottle," you asked and you placed her on the white counter.

"yeah, papa keeps one in there when he does my hair," she says as she points to the cabinet below the sink. Low and behold there are plenty of hair products made specifically for those with curly hair. You picked up the pink bottle filled with water and began misting your hair. Make sure to get all of it.

"i have very thick hair so you have to be patient okay," Keiko nodded at that and patiently watched you wet your hair as she kicked her feet gently off the counter. "now im gonna separate, brush, and start putting in the curl cream," Taking the brush you began section your hair, putting the cream in, and begin making small tight curls with the brushes handle. In the corner of you eye you could see the little girl watching in awe. It took much longer then you expected after not doing you hair in such a long time. Finally you finished it off with the curling moose, and showed her the final product.

To say Keiko was happy would be an understatement. Her smile was huge and you could see her missing front tooth as she looked at you like you put all the stars in the sky. "you have to pinky promise me that you will never hide your beautiful curls from the world, okay." she nods st your words and begins to hold out her pinky for you to link with. Both of you kiss your thumbs to seal the deal. You spent the rest of the night playing with Keiko and making sure she didn't have any bad thoughts. You on the other hand made sure Keiko couldn't see that you were just as insecure - maybe even more- then Keiko was about your curls.

You felt like a hypocrite. You spent so much of your time straighting and making sure your hair was dried a certain way so that no one could tell your hair was any different from theirs. You hoped that Keiko would never have to experience the things that were said to you. And a little part of you wished you had someone like yourself when you were younger to tell you how pretty your curls were. Sadly, you couldn't bring yourself to accept your curls and planned to wash and redo your hair before the guys came back. You just weren't ready for such a big jump. 'toshi probably wouldn't think you were as beautiful if you showed him your natural hair. He probably would break up with you because they made you ugly, and find another girl with better hair. After moving to Japan your insecurities skyrocked seeing that the standard was to have straight hair. Very rarely did you see a girl with curly hair.

Lost in your thoughts you hadn't heard the front door begin to open untill it was to late. Two six foot tall men came walking into the small home. It was dark and you were frozen in your spot. Keiko immediately ran to her father happy to see him home early. You on the other hand glued to your seat on the floor and kept your back turned from your boyfriend. "y/n...hey" 'Toshi deep voice traveled through the home to were you were seated on the living room floor.

Slowly turning round you saw your boyfriend with his standard expressionless face, but you knew this wasn't his ordinary deadpan look. He was thinking.

Beginning to get worried you stood up and began walking over to him. Ready to explain that you did your hair with a curling iron (toshi knew that those curls could not be made easily with an iron). His mouth opened and closed and then open and closed again like he was trying to say wow. "'toshi it's-"

"you are the most beautiful women i've ever seen, and somehow you just became more beautifuler"

smiling at his response you couldn't help but tell him, "toshi i dont think beaurifuler is a word" giggling a bit at your boyfriend's vocabulary.

"well idk how else to describe you," he responded still with a shocked look on his face but his eyes told you that he was in awe of what he was looking at. "i-is this your natural hair. It's so pretty." You slowly nodded at that pulling in you lips in as you could feel your body heating up. 'toshi made you shy a lot but never this much. looking down you slowly wrapped your self around his waist and pressed your head into his chest. He was your safe place. He always knew the perfect words to say to you, and he definitely had the key to your heart.

Later Kiyoomi came back downstairs after putting Keiko to sleep. "thank you so much. She said you made her really love her curls. Idk what exactly happened, but im glad she's happy with you." Your happy to be with Keiko too. You may have taught her a valuable lesson but she in turn taught you one. You would never hide you curls again, and especially not from your wakatoshi.

I hope this isn't prying too much. I also have a march in my city for tomorrow (the 2nd) and I'm considering going, but I've literally never gone to a march before. Do you have resources on how to potentially prep for one like this? Is this one I should keep my phone off and my face covered? Being just a march instead of a protest, I don't think I have to worry about anonymity as much, but I have no idea what to expect.

but I remember this short comic by Dan Schade I came across that gives tips on what you can do to prepare in case you might you're worried about your safety, considering these sorts of things can be targets for police violence. I really recommend checking it out

here's a summary of it:

obscure your face, ie w a covid mask or bandana (for anonymity reasons but also covid reasons, still in a pandemic)

plain anonymous clothing, nothing identifiable

multiple water bottles, ear plugs

safety gear: safety goggles, spray bottle with milk in case of tear gas, neosporin

pepper spray if you got any

leave your phone at home; if you must bring it disable location services, put it on airplane mode, and keep it off until you need it

stay with the group, don't stray off, stay aware of your surroundings

don't take any pictures/don't post any pictures

don't talk to the police if you encounter any

to be completely honest it's possible you might not even need to do everything the comic suggests, but if you ask me it could be better to do some of the precautions in case anything happens

going to the march can really help boost the numbers and add your voice to the people there calling for a ceasefire in palestine, but I totally get that it's super nerve wracking as a first time thing (also my first time going to a march, I feel like I'm going to shit my pants). if you choose to go it doesn't hurt to do some of the small stuff like obscuring your face and turning your phone off if you're worried about anonymity or cops

Sorry Sangyeop is a what?! What on earth did he do ahaha? I'm glad you had a great time! It seemed so fun from the videos you posted! One thing that has struck from seeing videos of their concerts is, Sangyeop really has developed a technique for spraying water bottles lol. It amazes me how he is able to crush a bottle like that when I can't even open a bottle :( . I hope you aren't suffering from pcd! I've never actually been to a concert, so never experienced it myself, but I think I'd definitely be suffering after seeing Lucy ahaha

I find it so cool how people get into the same bands but for such different reasons and at different places and times in their life. It's so cool to be able to talk and connect with different people because of the same band.

Ah thankyou so much!! I am so excited to watch it! It may leave me feeling depressed about my lack of talent, but worth it ahaha.

On a different note, Wonsang just needs to stop. Like how dare he be so cute?? I keep seeing videos of him being cute and it really brings out the cuteness aggression in me sometimes. Also Yechan. And Gwangil. And Sangyeop. They all just need to stop. I can't fall in love with them anymore. My heart will not be able to take it. Lol

U heard me right I do declare sangyeop the slut in lucy SKDJKS I SWEAR AT THE CONCERT HE WAS WAY TOO CHARISMATIC AND FINE AND ???? NOT TO MENTION THE TIMES HES HAD OUTFITS W OPENED BUTTONS OR SEE-THROUGH BACK/CHEST HES JUST INSANE 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️ and he rly rly hypes up the crowd like damn 😭😭 I only got noticed by him once maybe twice but when he smirked at me I felt like I was gonna die LIKE I CANT SKDJSKDJKS 😭😭😭 and the water bottle technique YEAH HES DEF PERFECTED THAT OVER THE TOUR. I’m so glad I chose to go over to wonsang’s section because for soundcheck I was in the centre in front of sangyeop and if I had stayed there I would’ve gotten utterly soaked. I definitely am already suffering from pcd 😍😍😍😍 but the thing is I haven’t even recovered from my onf pcd from the concert I went to at the end of february so… lucy pcd better not last that long 😭😭

exactly especially with a band like lucy I feel like most kpop stans haven’t heard of them or know them so when you find someone who does you can bond really really well!!

keep an eye out for my man ha hyunsang while watching just cause he is so talented. and some of my other favourite contestants other than lucy iirc were mellow kitchen (he always added smth special to the performance w his saxophone) and kim youngso (i really loved him in adventure of a lifetime performance he’s super cute like wonsang)

I agree with this honestly- and honestly? We should do the same thing for any reblog bait. (Which is what I think the tag should be- #reblog bait)

"reblog if you're not homophobic" like I shouldn't have to reblog a Tumblr post to prove I'm not homophobic. "Reblog if you support autistic people" I am autistic, why should I reblog a stupid post meant to get notes in order to prove that I support XYZ

And sure, sometimes reblog bait can be fun. But not when all the replies are just spamming a singular letter and it's a singular person reblogging it while tagging every user and their mother- if I ever make a reblog bait like "if this gets X notes I do X thing" like I have before, I make it a stipulation to not tag a ton of people otherwise it doesn't count. It gets me so angry whenever I see reblog bait like "I support xyz" because it feels like if you don't reblog it it seems like you're a terrible person.

And yes, I understand reblogging is how posts stay alive and yadda yadda but honestly I shouldn't have to reblog everything I agree with. Those posts about "if you don't reblog what you like then you suck and are killing the app" also annoy me because I shouldn't have the guilt of the app being dead on my shoulders because I don't wanna reblog something. If I reblogged everything I liked my page would be very confusing to people, and honestly I'd rather have a decent experience with my own page than reblog everything I like.
