ummm that’s a very good question anon one that i definitely haven’t thought about my whole life every single time i imagine whump scenarios in my mind with me as the whumpee

anyway i definitely wouldn’t be completely broken or conditioned, but i also wouldn’t be very defiant either. fear yknow.. like terrified whumpees who are very scared and will do anything to not be hurt.. that’s good soup that’s me. fearfully compliant but obviously does not wanna be there. oh to be kidnapped and tied up in someone’s car and locked in a basement against my will…

i’m not the biggest fan of whumperless whump so if i were a whumpee i’d want the whumper to be a carewhumper (cough cough Anton cough). carewhumpers my absolute beloved i can’t get enough of those guys. you see i would be held captive and restrained (gagged, blindfolded, drugged, etc) but also taken care of :3 they’d like hold me and comfort me and pet me after hurting me and i’d be so scared of them but it’d also be so so cozy.

if i were a whumpee i wouldn’t rlly want to be actually tortured and stuff. hurt a little bit for enrichment (not like this all isn’t enrichment for me) definitely because knives and bruises are very fun but fear is also good too. they would like threaten to hurt and kill me but not actually yknow just to see my scrumptious reaction. though i wouldn’t mind a vampire biting me and drinking my blood or a mad scientist experimenting on me of course. just not like actual full on torture no thank u

had a dream last night that i wrote a trustin canon divergence tda au where justin gets gwen voted off instead of trent and then believes trent would be easy to beat if he takes him to the final two but overtime trent becomes slowly harder for justin to envision "easily beating" bc ironically his emotions are the ones to betray him. meanwhile trent tries to make it farther in the season for gwen and to figure justin out first in a kind-of-annoying-rival way, then in a annoying-kind-of-ally-damn-it's-complicated way

I have no idea how to label this, LOL. I've been fixing a lot of silly bugs thanks to some awesome people, and drafting on Ch2 is going v. well! 40% done, and it's only the first week of August... .... Kind of unnerves me 😅

Because Ch2 is shaping up to be much longer than Ch1, I'm going to code each scene as I finish rather than doing it all at once and melting my brain. It'll be a separate beta version for those who want to read the story and don't mind the wonky bugs - if you'd rather read everything at once and have a much neater experience, wait for 2.0 at the end of this month :>

Anyway, you can get the beta version where you find the other version. Version 1.1.4 is all of Chapter 1, with bugfixes and only a small Ch2 preview. It'll stay that way until Ch2's full release 👀

This Beta covers:

Multiple Scenes in Chapter 2. So far it's up to four: The phone call, a chat with Malwina, your first job with Mordecai and Viktor, and a long conversation with Lottie.

There's also a few additions to the Character Creator - I am not taking suggestions for new content here. It's very low priority compared to drafting the actual story.

Being able to skip directly to Chapter 2! You'll still get to choose your Tarot reading. Please note if you chose a Tarot that normally wouldn't be available to you - i.e., choosing Star if you don't have a kid - text won't make sense. Chapter Selection is going to look nicer in 2.0 (ideally, lol).

A proper, multiple save/load system! (It can be weird sometimes!)

@riote acotar au where feyre wasn’t the true mc (think ned stark), so she doesn’t come back to life and becomes a martyr and religious icon of prythain. next book opens with a daughter of one of the human queens, navigating court life and all that, and something something, the queens make the deal with hybern (that’s how the story would connect back to prythian). now instead of the golden queen being the one to give the book, it’s the daughter. this would work best as multi-pov, like exploring the implications of feyre’s death, how’s tamlin doing🙃
