                                                           a passengers / sci fi styled indie group verse.

year 2263. earth is overpopulated and natural resources have been used up. though there is another option from living an overcrowded and mediocre life on earth. the enterprise travel corporation has been the staple of space travel for over two centuries. they managed to discover and acquire a multitude of untouched planets suitable for human life. the first voyage successfully recruited and transferred nearly 4,000 colonists to planet homestead. the trip there took approximately 120 years, and the trip back took the same amount of time.

colonists, and crew members are put into hibernation pods that prevent them from aging during this journey. they spend two months on board the ship before being put to sleep, and are woken about five weeks before landing.

this is enterprise’s second voyage. the destination is homestead: II. it plans to transport 5,000 colonists and about 250 crew members. enterprise never see’s complications. complications aren’t and have never been a concern of theirs. but this time... things have hardly gone as planned. the complications they said were impossible were in fact possible. one by one the pods began to wake up passengers, the only thing is ––– they’ve only been asleep for thirteen years and they still have one hundred and seven years left to go until they reach homestead II.

this is a group based off the movie passengers. knowledge of the movie is not necessary, but the ship itself and the plot are based off of it so if you haven’t seen it i’d suggest watching the trailer so you can get a feel for it !

    seattle grace mercy west is one of the most pristine hospitals in the country. and with a pristine hospital comes pristine staff. seattle grace’s doctors are the best of the best and everyone knows it, including them. and just like any work place, diverse people with diverse backgrounds and ways of thinking are thrown together for a common purpose… and in this case it’s to save lives. but being a surgeon isn’t as easy as it looks, and it isn’t cut out for everyone. will you get cut? or will you be the one doing the cutting?

takes place in seattle, based around the show grey’s anatomy; however knowledge of the show isn’t necessary.

rumors. fame. scandal. sex. revolution. cake. the baroque atmosphere of versailles is a staple to the way the wealthy and the well-bred live their lives. parties, big hair, luxurious gowns and feasts for days. no one can deny that those in france are living the life they were born to live. and those weren’t blessed enough to be born in france, travel to versailles to get a taste of just how much sweeter the french life can be.

this is based in france in 1778 !! if you’re having some trouble picturing what france at this time looks like i’d suggest taking a look at the movie/trailer/edits of: marie antoinette (2006) !

your character does not have to be from france, they just need to currently be in france, but of course flashbacks are more than welcome and those can take place anywhere !!

your character needs to have a purpose for being in versailles. they coule be french royalty, a guest of the french royalty ( which would mean they are of some noble or royal standing from a different country ) or some sort of french nobility. you are also welcome to apply for staff or other positions like a personal guard, a war general, etc.

your characters name might need to be adjusted slightly in order to fit their status or where they are from. for example my character elena gilbert would become something like elena gabrielli if i wanted to make her italian.

of course french monarchy positions are welcome but it’s pretty much first come first serve so there will only be one queen and one king of france. though you could definitely join as a princess, duchess, prince, duke or any other noble position from france.

i know the titles can be quite difficult to figure out, especially since some websites are contradictory in what they describe so if you have any questions feel free to ask me and we can figure it out together.

everyone in this verse needs to be human !! a few face claim repeats ( for twins ) is okay but it has to be approved by whoever applies for that face first.

activity checks will be done like every 2 weeks or so ! so please be active in the tag whenever you can !
