- he treats you like a princess though like when he brings you to his parties he will bring you EVERYWHERE

- like a bodyguard too, will bring all your stuff even if they're heavier than his gym bag

during your birthday party. it is your birthday day, and a party have been organized by pierre, your best friend and your family. so when you come to the place, all eyes are on you. everyone is saying happy birthday and wishing you the best, but pierre can't take take off his eyes of you. you are just too beautiful. and then the party starts. people are dancing and singing, just enjoying the moment. you're sitting to a table with your closest friends, including pierre. you didn't remark it but he was just stealing glances at you. soon it is the the end of the party and all are playfully asking you to do a speech. you laugh shyly, not really wanting to do it but pierre's smile reassure you, so you just start speaking. you thank everybody of course, and after your speech pierre joins you, standing next to you. he would go with something like "this is my gift for you" and then after quickly kiss you. and kiss you once again but this time more deeply and tenderly, showing all of his love for his favorite birthday person.

so i headcanon that dazai knows how to play the piano - somewhat ties in with my backstory for him - but he was taught it when he was a kid but then after mori took him under his wing, he stopped playing for two years. when he moves in with pmreader, he realizes that she has one in her apartment and he always wants to go over to it but he also can't bring himself to. eventually he does one day when he thinks she's out and she comes home to find him playing it. she ends up having one of the rooms in her apartment turned into like a nice area for him to play in peace and he can do what he wants with it and it rlly becomes one of the few places he considers a safe space for him. once he leaves the pm, he can't even bring himself to touch the piano again bc it reminds him too much of her and his time w the pm.

anyway, flash forward to 22zai and 22pmreader, they're back on talking terms again and dazai is frequently going over to her apartment, but he just can't bring himself to check the room. a part of him is convinced that she got rid of it when he left and made it into something else, so he can't bring himself to look. sometimes he'll just linger outside the door and then move on instead of going in to look. (she didn't, of course)

she notices this, obviously, so one day she purposely leaves the door to the room open while she's out and of course dazai spends every waking moment at her apartment. so he gets there and then instinctively does his rounds wandering her apartment but then freezes when he realizes the door to his room is open and its literally just how he left it—almost has a whole ass breakdown because of it. but he ends up going in and plays for the first time in literally four years </3 and she comes home to it </3

• doesn't play quidditch, but was very good at it, much to Imelda's dismay. She fought hard to blackmail convince him to join the team, with no success;

• Is a night owl by heart, and if it wasn't for Ominis at Hogwarts, and Anne at home, he would lose much of the morning. However, feels he lost the day if he wakes up around midday;

• Has an expansion charm on his trousers pockets, makes it easier to smuggle some books from the restricted section;

• He'll never admit his feelings for MC, but still didn't realized his feelings for her are way too explicit. He can't shut up about how brilliant she is, Ominis can't stand to another night of his rambles about her. MC and Sebastian are clearly the only ones oblivious to his feelings;

• He and Solomon had a good relationship before he went to Hogwarts. His uncle taught him fishing and gardening, and that it a very fond memory for him. Another reason of why he resents his uncle so much;

• Hates the fact he is the spitting image of his father. Despite having a good relationship with his uncle before, Sebastian truly believes that his uncanny resemblance of this father is one of the reasons his uncle can't stand him;

• Is a fiery Sagittarius, his birthday is on december 14th.

• Plays piano like a god, almost like the keys are an extension of him. He pours his soul when playing, and makes everyone fall in love with his skill;

• His mother is desperately trying to stay close to him, sending many letters, begging to professor Black to ask Ominis to talk to her. But he couldn't forgive her for forcing him to torture muggles, and she's not sorry for it;

• Is a romantic by nature. You may think Sebastian is flirtatious, but Ominis' simply a natural! The first date with Poppy, arranged by MC, ended with "It is much of a regret not being able to admire your face right now" Poppy turned red as phoenix feather;

• Has a sweettooth. You'll find him in the kitchens stealing cakes and candies, and he always have one in his pockets for when he gets anxious or overwhelmed;

• His love for potioncrafting begun when his mother fell ill, and a St Mungus' potionist crafted a potion for her in front of Garreth. When his mother recovered, he knew that was exactly what he want to work with;

• He's an incredible artist as well, every single one of his parchment is covered with drawings. The professors tend to scold him for it, but secretly adores to see his drawings thriving. Professor Weasley encourages him to keep with the hobby;

• Was the first to perfectly cast a corporeus Patronum in DADA during the 6th year, besting Sebastian and MC. His Patronus is a deer. (SORRY, he's my Hogwarts Legacy version of James);

• Still tries to get Imelda off her tracks with his pranks and teasing, and she loses every time. He loves to have her attention, and understood why close to their graduation. Officially started courting her a few months after Hogwarts;

Notable things from the EE intimate acoustic session i went to:

I know this is probably a mix of old and new information but i wanted to put everything from the set in one post so i can keep it for posterity.

Jon fucking cracked his head open on the morning of the show on an Uber boot lid while taking merch out of the boot.

Jon said the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel were inspirations to him as a kid.

Jon got his first guitar at 13 and had a dream to make music by then.

Alex mentioned playing viola and cello as a kid and mostly knows stringed instruments. He said he wasn't good at the piano and Jon mentioned he's shit at the drums.

They both talked about how the band got together. Jon poached Alex from another band that broke up 2 weeks before they were gonna get signed for a band, by literally messaging him on old timey email or Facebook and saying "do you want to get a burrito".

Jon tried to impress him by eating the same spicy burrito as him and he was dying the entire time.

Jon also talked about how he loves it when he makes songs that give the impression that he has strong feelings on things but it's ambiguous as to what those feelings are.

Jon said man alive was a very nervous energy album, where ideas where just smashed together because these songs were the beginning of his songwriting. He mentioned photoshop handsome having conflicting messaging talking about surgery and photoshop at the same time, which he thought muddled the idea of the song.

They thought arc was more put together, and for every album they make they try and think of what makes a better sound for a live experience.

Talked about how their career is very much due to luck. They have had it very lucky with getting their songs circulated in radio space when they were such a small band starting out.

Suffragette suffragette was a single produced for a small label which very luckily got radio time

Photoshop handsome was rejected for radio because it was "too weird" but the music video gave them the success they needed. They made the music video themselves in their garage using a greenscreen, and submitted it to a competition on MySpace. The winner got played on MTV 2 for a week or two. They spoofed tons of votes with the help of their friends to win the completion.

Some big radio name (i unfortunately forget the name of) heard it on MTV 2 in a random hotel room and really liked it, so he ended up getting that song radio time.

The producer for get to heaven (Stuart Price) wasnt paid big manager money at all because he was doing it BC he was a fan. And the fact he was a "pop" producer didn't change ee's sound because they had everything written beforehand and he couldn't change their weirdness.

Apparently Jeremy's back was up when working with him until Alex and Mike met Stuart and confirmed he was chill.

Jon talked about the fact he was extremely moody on get to heavens creation. Alex said an anecdote where he tried to get Jon to do the vocals for warm healer and he did the main melody and then went "this is the worst song I've ever done" and then left the studio.

Jon talked about being the emotional heart of the team while Alex was the techy guy. Except Jons emotional heart was being a moody dickhead, in his words.

There was no cover of a song from a fever dream because it was too hard to convert one of the songs to acoustic, according to Alex.

Jon said Re-animator was the album he would change the most on and that it was the most unpolished.

Alex said he was very stressed in making mountainhead. It was the shortest amount of time they had made an album in. He was juggling home life and his work quite extremely. And by the end he was stubborn on his production choices.

With mountainhead being an exception, Alex mentioned that normally they have 5 or 6 versions of a song recorded before they choose one to go with.

Alex talked about their boiler suit troubles in the early days. Jeremy was insistent that their boiler suits be tailored which he recalled was terrible for movement.

Jon mentioned that he has had no formal vocal training. He didnt even do vocal warmups The falsetto was something he did in his early career and by the time he realised he did it he had settled into it and it had become "his thing".

He also admitted he didn't think he had a strong voice which I think is a. Fucking lie.

Alex talked about how touring is a LOT of waiting. And that they have exhausted every single avenue of conversation with each other so they end up just going to inside jokes they've had for 15 years they don't even remember why they're funny anymore.

During lockdown when the building their equipment was in burned down, they got into an argument with the owner of the building because he thought it was an insurance fraud job.

Jon still uses his guitar that got burned in lockdown in shows. Its the same body but has a new neck. Alex's also got restored but he doesn't play it because it's really difficult to play. Jon said Alex puts really heavy strings on his guitar because "it's what the jazz musicians do". But because it got burned apparently it sounds "a bit shit".

They both have talked a lot about how Spotify and streaming has decimated the music industry. Alex also talked about how songs don't even need albums anymore you can just made a compilation of singles and how he is averse to singles. Him and Jon joked about the idea that albums don't need any singles. Alex also talked about how cohesive albums are a dying breed of music made for a dying breed of fan.

Frank always frowns but if someone becomes his frds(like Julie ),He showed them a warm,KIND and quite JOYFUL(in yellow) personalities(and you can say he HAS a funny sense for A PAIR OF SOCKS), just like the description in purple as well(meaning that he is quite sensitive to show his true personalities to anyone but his friends)

They packed up each other's missing personalities (For examples:Frank's sensitive personalities (no offense)matches the purple personalities which was the only thing Eddie didn't have,Eddie's ultimate kindness (I know Frank might have but not as much as eddie)matches the yellow personalities which Frank MIGHT not have that much)THEY ARE LITERALLY LIKE A PUZZLE WHICH IS A PERFECT FOT FOR EACH OTHER

catharsis: nearing the end

counting down the weeks to freedom (🏫🙅🏻‍♀️) and in need of stress relief (💆🏻‍♀️🕊️🧘🏻‍♀️)...

1. october (tchaikovsky): maybe one day i will record this song bc it's one of my favorites. also really befitting my underlying mood in this latter half of the semester. under all the stress and frustration, i am just tired. i want to see the world. i want to feel the joy of living again. making my life revolve around the confines of school does not feel like living.

2. apparition de giselle (adolphe adam): the music at the part where she's spinning in circles in the "initiation" scene. that's what today feels like. a flurry of movement, a little desperate, and despite the energy, unfulfilled. even soulless. i'm tired, that's all. stupid insomnia - you know that feeling where you're physically tired and when you lie down on the bed it feels like such a relief, yet you can't fall asleep? i don't know why that happens. am i worried about something? possibly? maybe? but during the day, i don't think i feel super worried.

3. mazurka op. 68 no. 3 (chopin): the first piece by chopin i ever played. the way i heard it in my head and the way i played it didn't have as stately a character as this interpretation, but this was the recording i drew most of my inspiration from. i really miss playing piano and the youthful glow i had felt in that era. it feels like ages ago. and with every passing year, it seems i have more pressing priorities like learning how to be an adult, the desire to forge new relationships and tend to them, and establishing my career, so piano consistently falls to the wayside. i don't regret my career choice tho... gladly, after a long-drawn existential crisis in high school, trying to come to a career path that had the best chance of balancing my needs and wants with the world's, i'm still satisfied with my decision. i want to learn how to use my potential to be of service to others, including those beyond my inner circle. i also want to practice piano after my dreaded winter exams. i will make time for both. 4. rainy day coffee shop ambience with piano music and distant thunder: that satisfaction at having stumbled upon the truth, the solidness of it finding a home in my chest. ☺️ i finally figured out what's wrong mentally and now i have something to work with rather than just floundering, feeling "some type of way", unable to get out of it because i don't even know what "it" is. i'm 99% sure that's what's causing my insomnia. i feel so much more hopeful and peaceful now with my feelings validated and all. 🥺 (update: i had the best sleep i've had in ages ☺️)

5. i dreamed a dream (claude-michel schönberg): i seem to always cycle through the same songs like i'm constantly circling the same drain. do i really always cycle through the same set of feelings every couple of weeks? 🤷🏻‍♀️ i have dreams i don't know i can reach. some of them feel more like fantasies than dreams... in my mind, dreams are super ambitious goals i don't know if i can reach but that are in theory possible to reach (more variables are in my control and have a good chance of affecting the future in the way i want), while fantasies are dreams that are closer to impossible to achieve (fewer variables are in my control and may not have a good chance of affecting the future in the way i want). i don't know, maybe they just feel like fantasies for now, and really, it's not impossible. idk, i don't have a crystal ball...

6. the sound of silence: i literally mean the sound of silence tho, not the song 😂 so underrated when the mind has been a noisy mess. ... and then in random mindless moments, like in the shower or when clearing away the dishes, all the music comes rushing back, begging to be heard and felt and loved.

7. arabesque no. 1 (debussy): learned about CBT in psych so i'm trying out using the situation -> thoughts -> feelings -> behavior template in my journal so hopefully i can figure out why i do or don't do the things i do 😅 and then maybe branch into some small "behavioral experiments"...not really sure yet but hopefully it brings me some clarity!

excuse my rambling, this is mostly for my own sake five years from now when i can't remember any details 😅

they started handing out numbered wristbands at 9am and @arcticmonkeysaf and i got in line around 9:40 and were #873 and #874 😳 we found out later that the first person was actually like #550, so there were actually about 320 people ahead of us

amazingly we still ended up pretty close? i think we were around row 13ish! straight across from nick! 😍

fontaines dc were awesome and i had a lot of fun even tho no one else in our area seemed to know them 😅

sculptures as the opener was so incredible 😭 also alex pretended to play violin during it lol

brianstorm, teddy picker, the view, and dancefloor go so hard!! they're sooo fun!!

they played fireside 😭😭😭 freaked out when i saw alex pick up the acoustic haha

alex played the high piano interlude but didn't make up any words to it this time

When you are Georg first met, you clicked instantly. He thought you were absolutely gorgeous the first time he saw you in a record store. Him and the rest of the band were searching for vinyls when he saw you. You were standing there with the rest of your friends, laughing. God, you had the most beautiful smile.

It didn't take much time for him to muster up the courage to come up to you and ask you out. Of course you said yes and all your friends with smiling and giggling. He was so sweet and looked amazing, there was no way you were going to say no.

He took you out on a first date to a movie, not a best choice georg 💀 so you two didn't have a lot of time to talk. but afterwards when he was driving you home, you learned so much about him. About his band, foods he likes, the music he likes, how he regrets taking you to a movie for your guys' first date 😭. Honestly, it was perfect.

After that, he decided to bring you out on better dates like to restaurants and cute picnics. He definitely learned his lesson.

He's the perfect boyfriend, he always holds you and cuddles you whenever you feel down or if you're having cramps. He loves bringing you out on dates and he can't get enough of braiding your hair at night.

He could sit and listen to you talk for hours. He loves hearing you speak different languages since he can only speak German and English. But that doesn't refrain him from teaching you dumb things in German 😭.

He loves that you like his band too, he wouldn't want to date someone that doesn't. Especially whenever he's playing and he can see you in the crowd smiling up at him. Plus, afterwards you and him go back stage and have some fun 😉.

He also really loves playing the bass for you. When you're just half asleep, laying next to him with your cheek pressed against his shoulder and listening to him play. He adores it sm. Almost as much as he adores you.

He also really loves listening to you play the piano for him. He was never one for the piano, but after you came around he couldn't get enough of it. He loves hearing you play, and all the songs you know.

He goes to the gym sometimes, and loves working on his torso and arms. So he can always pick you up or put you on his shoulders.

He's an asshole though, and will just sit there and watch as you try and grab something from the top shelf, laughing as you climb up onto the counter to get it bc you were just too prideful to ask him.

Whenever he's out with the band and he sees something you might like he hassss to buy it. Whether it's clothes, jewelry, makeup or hair products. He just wants to make you as happy as possible.

On that note, he lets you practice your makeup on him. He just stares up at you the entire time while you practice new eyeliner techniques on him.

He's so sarcastic omg, he's such an asshole. Literally you could be saying anything and he'll have a come back, it's insane.

Have you ever felt embarrassed posting fic?? I have so many ideas and I really enjoyed doing stuff for fsw but I cringe at the thought of writing anything else?? Or at creating anything generally? I don't know why and I really want to get over it n u seem insightful about this stuff.

I love this question bc I think it's about art and vulnerability and imperfection and those are things I think about a lot! (Alternatively, I may be viewing this question through the lenses of art and vulnerability and imperfection BECAUSE I think about those things a lot.)

If I tried to make this all connect it'd be a 1500+ word essay, so instead I'm going to provide some random thoughts and you can connect them however works for you:

1. No fic I write is ever going to get the number of kudos of a very mid Drarry fic I wrote when I was 18. It plagues me that this is my most-read story. I also refuse to take it down. It might still be meaningful to someone, even if it's not too me, and it did mean something to 18 year old me and I want to respect that. But the real reason I keep it up is because I don't want people to think my new, better work appeared from nowhere. I write so well now in part because I wrote a random 50k Drarry fic in high school. Writing it helped me become the writer I became.

2. I think a lot about the cartoon of a dog(?) playing piano with the caption "He plays very poorly, but it keeps him from destroying things."

3. I make paintings and don't post them because they aren't beautiful but I am still glad I paint, and when I first started making earrings I didn't understand how to use little beads to hold big beads in place so things often fell apart.

4. Someone who I met while writing fanfiction and meta for a tiny webseries fandom became such a dear friend that she flew across the country for my wedding party.

5. Many of the best scenes from In Her Hips are ones that scared or embarrassed me to write.

When my poetry collection came out and we did a reading and discussion, one of the members of my poetry cohort talked about the paradox of vulnerability, how we think that people will only connect with us if we write broadly but it is actually only in the personal details that we manage to connect. I really, really want to connect with other people. It feels like the most important thing I can do.

8. If you write your stories and never show them to anyone else, I promise they still matter.

9. If you write stories and choose to share them, I promise they will not matter less with someone else's gaze on them.

10. It's terrifying to be perceived because we can't control what other people see when they look at us. When I let myself be perceived, it's like admitting that I want to be loved, and the terrifying thing about admitting that I want something is that I may not get it. I may lose in public. I may be seen as small and human and wanting. There is no way around this.

Did you see all this screenshots wich point at the similarity with God's menu (excavator), Levanter (ticket) or Cheese (parking)? But didn't you see how hee literally appeared with "bloodied" jeans carrying "body bag" (presumably with popcorn)???

I think he looks like maniac and that's why represents Oddinary album 🧟‍♂��

The sixth one is Felix 🐣

Actually he is the most difficult one to understand for me. There are also cars, which could remind of Cheese, lollipop, which reminds me of Circus a little bit. There is also a city and i saw some opinion that this is from Maniac. But we already have one who represents Oddinary, so i thought here should be something else. I even supposed that he can represents all albums shown here, bc in some skz theories he stands for a "compass" for members and he is someone like main character in trailers (we will talk about it also). Here also he starts this video, he finds that "I am ground" sheet etc.

But then I understood that he has smth like Joker vibes. Felix in trailer is insane, he looks like he doesn't fit the "normal" city. The city. City jungle. And that was a moment when I remember that in Miroh skz were the same. They didn't fit the whole system and tried to change it, but failed. All the sounds in his scene reminds me of noisy busy city.

Seventh one is our leader Chan 🐺

With Chan there are some screenshots wich refers to burning building in Freeze. But this is not the only building that was on fire in skz's mvs. So for me the main point is that Chan playing the piano and metronom. He played the drums in The Sound and there also was metronom, even the choreo was similar. And it also might be important that this is Japanese album.

I assume Chan represents The sound 🎶

And last but not the least Lee Know 🐰

We can see "superscanner" and scan frame like in the airport and the same scanners were on Maniac posters. Lee Know held the same scanner on poster, but without an inscription, the word "super" could also refer to Superboard and Maxident. But we are searching here for album for each member, sooo... what i can also notice, is that Minho looks like he trying to escape from somewhere and skz did the same when they debuted. They escaped District 9. And there were white and red colors in mv. Minho wears white clothes and red beret.

If we decide that Lee Know stands for District 9, then he represents I am not album 🚫

This literally returns us to the beginning: I am ground. I know the name of an album is 5☆, but... It could be connected. Maybe if i'll have more thoughts about that i will also write something ~

And one more thing. The reason why i think this is not just set of random references to previous mvs, but actually references to previous albums, is bc... They always have sense in their mvs and trailers. So what the meaning of references to previous mv's scenes? It could be, like they telling us that all they do is 5☆ or something like that, but i used to think they have deeper senses...

In trailer they literally destroy all their comebacks. This could mean that something grand is coming. Something that will outshine all previous albums **
