I’ve gotten slightly more used to the controls of MetalGear Rising (+ Raiden being a cyborg) and now I’m having the time of my life. Built in cyborg sword heels is unbelievably cool

#I haven’t played the fourth game so it seems a lot of shit happened to get to this point !#I’ve seen that this game tends to be very popular because of its different style to other MG games and its ridiculous cutscenes #and I can get why!#the most common complaint I’ve seen was that it messes up characters or past games #which. maybe helps that I haven’t played the fourth game then lol because I’ve been enjoying the characters and story too #very edgy and dramatic but it works #for Raiden it’s an extension of basically everything in the second game in regards to his emotional turmoil and identity #it IS baffling to know that he’s with Rose and his son still while also doing all this 😭#their relationship was wild in the 2nd game #the codec conversations are great too. i regret not listening to them more at the start !#wolf <3 #I think im halfway ish or more through the game but its been good #i played Ground Zeroes last week so its nice having a game that has the hilarity and ridiculousness I loved from the first MGSgames #even if it amps it up even more #im not planning on actually playing V until I get through all the other games I can. just got MGSPWHD 🎉#<- I thought this game wasn’t in the digital store but it turned out it was under this frankly atrociously acronym #*atrocious

Literally begging anyone who can vote in US elections to vote, and to vote against Trump. Which means voting for Harris, not abstaining or voting third party.

My family actually did move here from an authoritarian country, where voting literally didn't matter, they literally did throw out your vote, and they literally did assassinate citizens who spoke out against them.

We would all very much like to keep living in a country where those things are not the case!

You know, the same things that Trump and his stooges have openly said they want to do. And two of the main propaganda lines for why people in the US shouldn't vote, which is a lie.

Voting matters. The parties are not the same.

And make sure to vote in down-ballot races!!!

And like. The fact that voting matters in the US is a very real reason for hope. It is something you should genuinely appreciate. We can make a difference.

And a lot of people risked their lives or even died to earn that right, and it's a right not everyone has.
