Im trying to import a character from another game but its t-posing plz help.
Sounds like you're having weight paint issues. If you're importing a model/mesh into the game, then you're gonna have to properly weight paint it. A quick walk-thru with gifs linked.
First off, I'm gonna use my Johnny mod as an example because lazy... sorry. Also, you won't have to do this with already in game meshes/models -- again, just using my mod as an example.
Make sure you have the template of whatever character you're replacing in Blender with your mesh (or meshes).
Step 1
Delete the vertex group of the mesh you're adding: Example Gif
Step 2
Select the template then your mesh and go into Weight Paint mode: Example Gif
Step 3
Select Weights --- > Transfer Weights
In the transfer weight data box, you'll see a lot of options. But, we're only interested in where it says Source Layers; change that from Active Layer to By Name: Example Gif
Step 4
Next, go back up to Weights and select Clean. Another box will pop up. Where it says Subset change Active Groups to All Groups, then enter the limit below that 0.001: Example Gif
Step 5
Back up to Weights and select Normalize (no boxes this time, yay I know). Then Weights again and select Smooth (sadly, a box). Change the Subset to All Groups. Iterations needs to be set at 5 (it may freeze for a second or 2; that's normal): Example Gif
Final Step
Back up to Weights and select Limit Total. Yet again, another box. In the box Subset should already be All Groups, if not change it to it. Below that set the Limit to 5: Example Gif
And just click back into Object Mode and your correct weights should be transferred over: Example Gif
Do note, you have to do this with each mesh; like if you have a shirt and body mesh that are separate, you will have to weight paint them individually. Though you more likely won't have to type in the numbers into the boxes this time, you'll just have to redo the order of transferring. Same goes for deleting vertex groups, don't forget to do that before transferring weights!

as my own direct immediate list of game grievances i hate that stardew valley expects you to side against a wheelchair user who is upset that he was moved without his consent. i hate that the mass effect trilogy gives you visible scarring as a direct result of choosing mean dialogue and heals it if you're nice. i hate that the vampire the masquerade ttrpg has a monstrous player class that can appear as horrible vampiric monsters or as visibly disabled people and both of these appearances are mechanically the same. i hate that dark souls games have a difficulty level implemented in a way that cannot be adjusted for disability. i hate that i can play as a mermaid or a werewolf or a horse in the sims games but can't use a wheelchair. i hate that the ace attorney games have so much flashing and not all of the games can disable it. i hate that disability is constantly something that happens to teach a lesson, i hate that disability is something that happens as a punishment, i hate that disability is either compensated perfectly with no drawbacks or something that is endlessly sought to be cured. i hate that no character customization will ever include the mobility aids i use, that the player avatars that represent me will never look like me. i am so goddamn annoyed and so goddamn tired.

There's this really cool thing that a handful of diaspora Palestinians have committed a lot of time and effort to called vetting (maybe you've heard of it?) in which they speak directly with a fundraiser holder face-to-face or over phone/video call to verify all portions of a fundraiser. There are so many posts [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] that talk about the details of this process to verify that a fundraiser organizer, recipient, and the details are correct by verifying legal documents like proof of residence, photo ID, fluency in Palestinian-Dialect Arabic, family tree constructions, etc.
These vetters have been posting about Palestinian/Gaza/Arab culture/Islam/etc. for a really long time, [1] [2] [3] (these are Wayback machine links to the tumblr accounts of 90-ghost, el-shab-hussein, & nabulsi before you start crying "but, you can post backdate on tumblr!") [4] (moayesh's Instagram because his tumblr is fairly new) meaning that they didn't just pop up after Oct 2023 to start posing as a qualified individual. They are real diaspora Palestinians with stories to tell and culture to share.
GFM also has strict requirements for withdrawing money, needing evidence of a bank account from a country they service and a solid way to transfer funds from that bank account to the recipient's bank account. If the funds are withheld from the intended recipient, that can be reported to and resolved by GFM.
If you're too overwhelmed by trying to distinguish between scams and real fundraisers, then whatever. That's your problem, not everyone else's. You don't need to publicly announce to everyone that you're too busy/tired/incompetent/ignorant to properly investigate fundraisers, so everyone else should stop supporting them as well. There are plenty of vetters and scam-busting blogs dedicated to helping people distinguish between real and fake.
Donating to established nonprofit aid organizations is absolutely a good deed and is much more straightforward, but it's not the only way to help. Especially with the repeated aid blockages, sometimes Ghazan families need a more direct flow of money to pay for the ridiculously inflated cost necessities (I recently received a video from Farah wherein she states that a bottle of dish soap cost $50. $50!!!!) as well as save up for evacuation costs once the Egyptian border crossing opens. (Thousands of dollars!)

once season 9 wrapped up, i'd been thinking about the way the hermits made the server have such a distinct sound
all of the goat horns, from "SHADDUP" to "hi im cleo" and the john cena one. all of the music disks, like pearl's cleaning lady ad and all the amazing songs. not to mention the tcg song, all of the do audio design, the voice of the museum, and more.

Hello! I'm so inspired to start a Mod because of your mk mod, can I ask what app do you use to make them? I really really wanna learn because of you🥹
Hey there! And that's awesome to hear, love it when others wanna learn how to mod.
I use several apps for my mods.
Firstly, you're gonna need to download thethiny's hook if you've never done so. This way, you can use mods. Never use this one as it's one heck of a way to get your account flagged and banned. Basically never allow anything that messes with the main games application onto your computer (it's also a good way to get a virus). That's why a majority use hooks. It does exactly that: hooks onto it.
Secondly, you're going to need the models, gear, skins, etc from the game. I made a short post here that tells you how to do that. Within that same post, I mentioned a tut or 2 about using Blender. Make sure you're using Blender 3.6 otherwise, the custom editor will not work with your custom/modded models.
Speaking of custom editor (UE), you're gonna need to be logged into your github account and enroll/join team Epic Games to be able to access the download for it.
If you need help setting up the custom editor and with Blender, let me know. If you're not bringing anything new into the game (like a whole new model that wasn't in the game) then it's like a 5 minute thing, but if you're adding something from another game (never add in anything that's copyrighted; paid 3d models from like Daz, etc), then you're gonna have to learn weight paint, UV editing and how to merge textures as models are limited material wise.

You will need a few plugins for Blender to be able to import and export your models properly.
It's all rather confusing at first, and yeah it takes a lot to get mods working in MK1. But after awhile, and through trial and error, you'll get the hang of it.

EA's leaves are kind of dull, and I personally think TNW's are too bright, so here's my spin on a leaf default + a new mod :-D
Leaf variety mod
There are 4 different leaf textures in the game files but only one is used. I talked with @shastakiss some years(?) ago and she mentioned an unfinished mod Neder started working on to make the leaf use different textures. Unfortunately, Neder couldn't get it to work. Shasta kindly sent me said mod and I handed it over to @lamare-sims last year who of course managed to fix it (thank you so much once again, you're a legend!!)
Note #1: worth mentioning, this mod will only affect leaves that spawn after you've installed the mod! the same goes for my mesh fix included in the default below. Note #2: if you already have this mod in you dl-folder, delete that file and use the one from this download if you're planning on using my default (otherwise my uv-map and texture edit will not work).
Defaults
Replaces all 4 leaf-textures with new, more colorful and less blocky textures. I also edited the "effect"-textures of single leaves (the ones falling from the trees). This default can be used without the mod mentioned above, but then only the "original" texture will be used - see second image.
The leaves that spawns under the tree (the one sims can't rake), it was impossible to make it look good with any of the four textures, so I re-mapped it and gave it it's own texture (256x256px). There's also an optional default for the rake included, I edited a tiny error in the mesh and gave it a texture makeover. I made a separate LOD90-default for the leafpile (meaning: the mesh in neighborhood view) and instead of replacing the textures I repo'd them, meaning that the LOD90 default works with any leaf texture default you might use (it will only be showing one texture in neighborhood view).
Texture sizes are all the same as EA's:
Leaves: 512x512px x4 (my default +1: 256x256px)
Rake: 128x256px
Leaf effects: 32x32px x3

I edited Sophie-David's leaf pile pet bed (the mesh) and repo'd it to leafpile_txtr, meaning the mesh will now pick up my default (or any other default you might have for leafpile_txtr, and if none - EA's original texture). The mesh now needs seasons + pets, since it's repo'd. Their recolors are not included, so be sure to download them from the link above if you want them and replace their mesh with mine!
I also edited Shakeshaft's leaf cover mesh (warning T$R) , I repo'd it to one of the leaf textures and made recolors - also repo'd - to the rest of the textures. This mesh and recs now need seasons, this also means that the mesh and recolors* can be used without my default.
*with the exception of rc4, which is repo'd to my custom leaf texture, found in my leaf default.
Recommended mod
I recommend simler90's Gardening Rake Leaf Pile Mod or jfade's leaf pile fix (I have no idea what the difference between those two mods are, they edit the same thing so choose one of them).
Nothing in this download is dependent on each other* so feel free to pick and choose what you want :-) remember you can only have one default for the leaves, meaning that if you have any other default (1, 2, 3, 4) or Shakeshaft's/Sophie-David's original meshes, make sure you remove them before installing my files. Everything has been compressed to reduce file size, as usual. Do let me know if I messed up anywhere!

Yesterday, walking inside Sims4Studio terrain files, I discovered something I didn't notice before ... 20 new base game files, after all other expansions ones ... Oo
