oh. oh. bestie. let's break it down.

chrissy is a great roller skater. the girl is a cheerleader, so she's very coordinated, and she takes her little brother to the roller rink on weekends to hang out often enough that she can run circles even around the older boys on roller blades. i bet she can even do fun little tricks (like balancing on one foot, etc.) eddie, however, is like bambi on that ice sheet. you know the one. he has to cling to the side or both of chrissy's hands as she slowly guides him around the rink. he eats it constantly that night and often takes chrissy with him, but she lands on top of him each time, giggling with delight. eddie does get better every time they go, but chrissy never lets him forget his humble beginnings.

chrissy is a chronic clothing stealer. she has claimed several of eddie's shirt and jackets as her own and sorry eddie but you will never get them back they are hers forever now

the first time eddie accidentally wears her cheer top it's because he stayed over at chrissy's and they both accidentally slept in. chrissy's dad is knocking at the door to wake her up and chrissy is frantically throwing clothes in his direction so he can get dressed and out of her window right now and it's not until eddie is almost out the window when chrissy realizes he's wearing her cheer uniform top, accidentally mixed in with his clothes and thrown to him in the chaos. the realization from both of them almost blows their cover with them trying to cover up their laughter. there's a big football game that night, however, so chrissy has to steal it back from eddie at school that day. (also you're correct it is insanely overstretched when she wears it later and the other girls give her teasing looks all night) from then on, eddie does it to make chrissy laugh and it works every time without fail.

also, if eddie turns several of his band t-shirts into crop tops after that, no one is complaining...

oh yes!!! yes!!! yeah!! i am a slut for that good hurt/comfort and i know that they are each other's rocks, especially through nightmares and flashbacks with upside down related truama. i could talk about this for hours but i will instead just link to a fic i wrote about this specific hc #selfpromo

omg yes!! i've seen so many people speculate they'd have a tiny wedding ceremony in hawkins at hopper's cabin, which i love. i think officially they'd be married quietly, just by themselves, in city hall one day while they're living out in california. but!! they have a ceremony outside with the whole party and uncle wayne. dustin and robin totally do not cry when they exchange 'i do's thank you very much!!!

personally i think that they abandoned prom and just hung out in the trailer and smoked and danced around the trailer with chrissy stepping on eddie's feet. however!! if we live in a world where they go to prom i am so for chrissy doing this. i'm gonna assume jason is voted prom king here as well and chrissy just skips right past him and the spotlight to where eddie is hiding on the bleachers, not interested in watching his girl dance with jason even if it is tradition, and robin is trying and failing to make him smile despite the situation. that is, until chrissy comes over and then robin is practically pushing him out of his seat and toward her. chrissy still steps on his feet but she gets close enough to rest her head against his shoulder and close her eyes and eddie can feel the entire graduating class' eyes on him but he doesn't even care because chrissy in his arms :)

also yes!!! eddie loves taking her to see scary movies because she spends them with her face buried his chest and eddie thinks it's adorable each time she jumps with a little shout (but he's also very careful to pick which scary movies to show her because he doesn't want something to trigger chrissy with flashbacks) and chrissy drags him to a fair amount of romantic comedies but they spent most of those staring at each other so it all works out :)

Pairing: Charlie Gillespie x Fem Reader

Summary: For the first time Charlie and Y/N have to do an interview together and things get pretty interesting and chaotic as always with the couple.

Pretty much based in the we say we’re friends world, (yes, again😤 I love their dynamic I’m sorry) you only need to know that Y/N is a musician by profession, wrote the JATP soundtrack, a childhood friend of Charlie and now his current girlfriend.

The couple is completely excited because today they have their first interviews after the confirmation of the second season of Julie and The Phantoms, and usually they are not on the same interview team so this is new. Charlie always does them with the band and the singer usually does them with director Kenny Ortega representing the people behind the scenes.

“Hello everyone, I’m Charlie Gillespie and I play Luke in Julie And The Phantoms.”

“And I’m Y/N Y/L and I play Daniela in Stardust.”

“Baby, you are here today as the songwriter of the album.”

“I know?” She thinks for a few seconds until she realizes what she said. “Oh. Well, this is embarrasing. Make my selfpromo accident worthwhile and watch Stardust after watching JATP!”

“Nice safe, beautiful. Pretty natural.” Her boyfriend teases as she smiles proudly.

“I like to believe I could be an actress.” Charlie begins to laugh at the seriousness with which she answered and looks at her, full of happiness. He loves that they can enjoy moments like this where their careers can go exactly on the same track.

They know that it will not always be this way so they should make the most of the experience.

“I’m excited to have you back, Y/N. And a pleasure to meet you Charlie. You both sure are full of amazing energy, I love it. Let’s start with the questions. Charlie, this is your first leading and in a fairly complete role, you acted, sang, danced and even wrote one of the songs, how was the experience?”

“Pure magic. They are all incredibly talented and so supportive of us, they worked so hard to unleash our full potential in an accelerated manner. They had a lot of patience with me in the dance part, they taught me to use my voice properly, they supported me in the change to electric guitar, it was simply a dream to work with every single person in the project.”

“Sounds amazing. Next question is for you, Y/N. Much has been said about the unreal chemistry between Julie and Luke. How was it for you as his girlfriend to have to witness it live? As I understand you were present throughout the recording."

"Oh man, it was awesome!" Charlie laughs at her pure response and the interviewer looks at her in disbelief.

"I'm Team Juke all the way. I know I may sound like a liar or something since I'm the girlfriend, but here's the thing.

I can't see my Char in Luke. Charlie is so good at bringing him to life that I can't believe that cool rockstar is my adorable goofball. It’s like Clark and Superman with the glasses thing. Beanie and electric guitar? Oh, hi Luke. You are so hot, wait... don’t tell Charlie I said that! Bandana and acoustic guitar? Hey baby, give me a kiss in the forehead and sing me to sleep.

What I was saying again? Oh, yeah. So... I see Juke and I’m soft, they are perfect for each other.”

“So you think Luke is hot, huh.” he pretends to be jealous and folds his arms.

“What can I say, I have a thing for rockstars, my legs melted during now or never."

He snorted a laugh. “Good to know.”

The interviewer cannot contain a laugh of her own.

"It's always a pleasure to have you here, Y/N. You are such a character and I always enjoy listening to you, and I love that even though the years go by and you are no longer so new in the industry you continue to have that fresh and iconic personality."

“Thank you so much Maria, If I can be myself here it is thanks to the beautiful atmosphere that your interviews always have.”

“My pleasure, ‘golden star’. Let’s continue. Y/N, We know you already knew Charlie, but who did you get along with better from the rest of the cast?”

“Oh my, definitely Owen. He was Charlie's roommate throughout the project so we hang out together a lot in our free time taking turns as third wheel. I'm pretty sure he's going to apply the same card to me this second season now that I'm gonna be the roommate.

But it’s okay, I totally deserve it. May the best third wheel win, Joyner!” Charlie grins and does a fistbump with his girlfriend who looks really hyped about going back to Canada with the band.

“I’m rooting for you, girl! Let’s go back to Charlie a little bit. The album that Y/N wrote is a resounding success and a very important piece for the series to be as brilliant as they are. I imagine that the four of you have a special affection for the album, but how do you feel that your girlfriend was the one who wrote a soundtrack of that level for such a special project in your career?”

Charlie looks so proud. He looks at her in a way that makes the young woman blush.

“I’m just so blessed that the things happened they way they did. She’s the love of my life, you know? I couldn't be more proud to sing her songs. She has always been insanely talented and nothing gives me more happiness that knowing she gets to do what she loves and is able to share it with the world.”

The singer's eyes water and she puts her head on the actor's shoulder, who kisses her hair sweetly.

“You two are so pure and so cute to watch, I have a new favorite celebrity couple.”

They continue the interview for a few more minutes and then they have to move on to the second section, in which they are handed some boards with the most searched questions on the internet regarding them.

“Okay guys, introduce yourselves again. I’m not going to be in the segment this time so you’ll have to help each other.”

Both agree without confessing that they have seen videos of this segment until 5 in the morning when they have nothing to do the next day and have sleepovers.

“Hi, we are Charlie Gillespie and Y/N Y/L and will be doing the wired-autocomplete interview today!”

“Okay handsome, let’s start with yours.” Charlie smiles and takes the sign in his hands, while his girlfriend removes the first tape and reveals the first question.

“Does Charlie Gillespie have a girlfriend?” Charlie smiles proudly and kisses his girls nose.

“I do, and she’s so adorable.” He touches gently her cheek and she closes her eyes at his touch.

He gives her a light kiss in the forehead and then uncovers the next question.

“What is Charlie Gillespie like in real life.”

“I’ll answer this one, Char’s a total goofball. He is cheerful, funny, always full of energy, talented, caring, and really, really hot. All done, next question!”

He laughs while blushing and reveals the next one. “Is Charlie Gillespie married?”

“Well I tried but someone ate the ring.”

“I would do it again, it was really good. Answering the question, he is not yet, but he is taking too long, maybe one of these days I will declare myself.”

He opens his eyes wide, he knows very well that his girlfriend is capable of doing it, and honestly he wants to be who does it, so he makes a mental note to prepare everything soon. Thank god he is working on the rings already.

“It’s Y/N still dating...”

“If the question says Ross Lynch I’m goin’ to lose it. No shade though, man.”

She laughs, after the James Larkin show, a lot of people showed anger as they felt that she was a much better match with the blonde, and Charlie couldn't help but feel a bit offended.

“...Charlie Gillespie! Yes, baby!” Both high five, Charlie looks almost relieved, is adorable.

“The answer is always yes folks, get use to it.”

“Who is Y/N’s best friend?”

“Well, this one is easy.” She turns to see Charlie and gives him a flirtatious little smile. He blushes and reaches out to kiss her, but she answers the question just before their lips touch.

“Ross Lynch.” She leans over and presses her lips against his for a few seconds as Charlie reacts to her response and then gapes in disbelief.

“You did nOT.” He laughs and and wrinkles his nose feigning annoyance.

“Yes I dID. But to be honest, has to be this man right here. Not a lot people know this but we’ve been best friends all our lives, so yeah. You baby, of course.” He blushes and kisses her hand, clearly happy with the answer.

“Is Y/N going to be in Julie And The Phantoms S2?”

“Will you?” He asks, genuinely curious. She never tells him what Kenny secretly confesses her about the project so as not to be unfair to the other members of the band.

“I will, but probably still back the scenes, guys. I'm really enjoying this part and learning from the best of the best so I am very happy not to be in front of the camera for now.”

“And you are doing an amazing work, love.” She grins and kisses his cheek.

“Thank you for watching us being ridiculously corny for 30 minutes, don't forget to watch Julie and the Phantoms Season 2 only on Netflix! I feel sorry for that poor people that will have to see how cheesy we are.”

“We were still recording Y/N, but never mind. The editing team has a lot of work ahead.”

“Well, damn. I’m sorry guys!” Charlie laughs for the thousandth time today. There is nothing better in life than sharing your days with your best friend. He can't wait to formalize that ‘forever’.

#TMIishTuesday #59 - Bi-what? - On Bisexuality

Hey, After writing the last #TMIishTuesday I got sick. Maybe that serves to say that I'm sick of our society. Maybe it was just coincidence. Anyway, I'm recovered for the most part and ready to write the next one. Let's talk about bisexuality. Hey there mighty people of the internet! And welcome to issue #59 of #TMIishTuesday - my weekly Tumblr post about what goes through my weird mind and on what you guys want to know more about. It can be something very personal, it can be something political, it can be completely pointless - but in 99.9 % of the cases, it involves opinions. And mine as well. // Last week I discussed my first ever poem in English: Society. It's about how society treats people and expects people to treat it. The discussion included several norms and the issues that I, personally, and other people have with those norms. If you haven't read it, do so now. I mean… Why not? :) // Bisexuality is a concept that most people will be familiar with. Still, many seem to not be able to relate to it. How can you love both boys and girls? How is that even possible? Would God want that to happen? These are some questions that might be raised when someone comes out as bisexual. Society loves to question everything that they don't know. And ASSUME about stuff they know nothing about (more on that in my previous two #TMIishTuesday's #selfpromo). People like to call out stereotypes on other people. Let's discuss some stereotypes I found are quite common about bisexual people: 1. "You like both genders, so it has to be SO MUCH EASIER to DATE for you!" Well… No? Even though it might seem that bisexual people do have a little more choice, they also have their preferences. Also: They might identify as "bisexual", but only be interested in sex with one gender - but prefer a romantic relationship with the other gender. Or they have only dated one gender, but could also imagine dating the other. 2. "You are WHORES! You F*CK EVERYONE you can find!" Well… No? The statement above is actually kind of the follow-up to what I said before. But it's simply not true. Bisexuals don't change their partners more frequently than people of any other sexual orientation. Regardless their gender or those of their partners. 3. "You have it so much EASIER than the rest of the LGBTQ+ community! YOU DON'T KNOW how it feels!" Well… No? The statements above might give you a little bit of an impression of the situation bisexuals find themselves in. Yes, they may "fit in" better, if they date the opposite gender. In this case, if they wanted to, they could hide their bisexuality from others. But: That's only when they date the opposite gender. Once they date the same gender they might be viewed as lesbian or gay - which doesn't give a correct account on their feelings, either. However, given the common misconception of "you can easily fit in, if you want to", bisexuals may not be as excepted in the LGBTQ+ community, as other members are. 4. "You can just CHOOSE which gender to DATE! You are so LUCKY!" Well… No? Building on what I just said, it's widely accepted that homosexuals can't choose which gender they want to fall in love with. And guess what? The same goes for bisexuals. They also need that certain "click" with people to fall for them. And we all know that doesn't happen too easily. Regardless of gender or sexual orientation.

5. Adding to the bisexual stereotypes, they also might face some gay or lesbian stereotypes - given that they (sometimes) date the same gender - including: "God doesn't approve of same-sex love! You'll go to hell, if you sleep with the same gender!" Summing up: The stereotypes against bisexuality, the misunderstanding and the ignorant "I don't like anyone different from me" (read with a very derisive voice) kinda of people are still around. Bisexuals still have to fear rejection by their loved ones. That it might ruin their career (the case of Aaron Hernandez is not proven, but there are assumptions that suggest that he killed a friend who was threatening to out the former American football professional. Apparently Hernandez thought the outing might set an end to his professional career. There is no doubt that murdering also ruined it, but that's a different story). All we can do is to fight stereotypes. Be proud. Be loud. Even, if you are not bi, tell people off who assume things about bi people or even make fun of them. That's your chance to be a good ally! If you are bi yourself, I'd LOVE to know your opinion on the topic! How do you perceive being bi in today's society? What needs to change? If you are not bi, I'd still like to know your thoughts on the topic. What needs to change? How would you support a bi friend? Talking of bi people: I've been subscribed to German vlogger Lisa Sophie (known on YouTube as ItsColeslaw) for more than three years now. In September 2016, she made a video about an article of German teen magazine BRAVO. The article was about bisexuality and suggested that bisexuals per se have more than one sexual relationship at a time. I brought up that topic above as well. It's just not true. Lisa addressed this misconception, thereby revealing her sexuality. Community power really was strong this time: Lisa told her community to write an email to BRAVO to change the article. I participated - and got back an email a few days later: They changed the article. But I'm drifting off. This is the story of how Lisa had her coming out which I really admired. Half a year later, she released her first book: "Wie ich auf hörte, perfekt sein zu wollen. Ein Leitfaden zum Umgang mit peinlichen Situationen aller Art" (which translates to: "How I stopped wanting to be perfect. A guide to handle awkward situations of any kind"). The book is about her experiences growing up in a small town in Bavaria and includes everything from school, relationships, the drama about certain clothing - and also details about her first female partner. (I probably missed a lot of good stuff in this list, but these are some aspects) I really enjoyed her style of writing. It's written very light-heartedly. Inside jokes make it throughout the entire book. And just like in her videos, she brought her self-sarcasm to the book as well. Plus the book is autobiographical which makes it extra easy to follow. You can tell she didn't try to fake-lengthen the story. Really enjoyed reading the book and would recommend it to anyone struggling with things like school and (especially long-distance) relationships - or just to have a laugh.
