‘that’s alright. a lot of TUNNELS lead here.’ however, they were mostly useless now that all the reptiles had been taken far away from the esteemed reptile room and his dear monty was DEAD and gone, a weight that still weighed heavily on his heart. however, this boy was likely very tired and in need of much care, for which gustav would oblige, of course.

‘i must ask though, what caused you to FIND it? has something happened?’ since returning back to… well, civilization if he was to exaggerate, he had been out of the LOOP of most of the vfd activities.

Quigley paused, wondering if he should talk to this man after all. So much had happened in the past day it was hard to know who he should be trusting.

“I... found it under a trap door in a mansion.” No need to say it was his mansion. He could be a servant for all this man knew. “The home burned down. Everyone died.”

This house seemed rather empty itself, like a tapestry with a hole where the main pattern used to be. Someone had taken a knife to this place and just cut with wild abandon.

“I followed the tunnel and ended up here...” Alone, cold, hungry and feeling utterly lost and hopeless.
