ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ.. ٬ ✃ the white satin ribbons were always the first thing that caught liu kang's eye when he entered the presence of empress sindel's court. he forced himself to remain calm, even in the presence of the monarch's youngest daughter. the ribbons danced in the breeze, and the sunlight made her long, lustrous hair shine brightly.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤas usual, as if her actions followed a preordained script, princess y/n turned toward him, her lips painted with a fiery crimson curved into a promising smile. it was polite and calculated. liu kang's heart, a god, broke when he realized that this smile was not exclusively for him, as it had been in other eras (in other realities).

IMAGES OF CHIYOKO HISAKAWA : 1 of ???

once gaining steady income as a mangaka, chiyoko seriously contemplates a more elaborate tattoo; rather than the cute little images she's imagined here and there, she wants something truly stunning to look at. the idea strikes her one morning after managing to spill paint all over her favorite pair of shorts, a deep green running over the blue material and down her calves. wouldn't it be pretty to paint her skin much like a canvas? chiyo eventually settled on a design that looks similar to watercolor, and though the visuals above lack much color, chiyo's tattoos are deep blues, purples, and reds that fade into each other, similar to what you see in these images here ( nudity warning, though nothing explicit ). the shading would most resemble the bottom right image, filling empty space with shadow or colored gradient. her tattoo curls along her right arm, across her chest, and down the left side of her waist, hip, and leg ( as depicted in the bottom left image ). getting to this point has, of course, taken quite a bit of time, especially as chiyo had to grow comfortable enough with her tattoo artist to allow them near parts of her body that are typically concealed. the whole thing has cost her a lot of money and tears, but she's pretty proud of the art she and her tattooist created. she plans to keep adding to it in the future.

just a heads up for new followers, this blog is and will stay iconless <3 if i spent time making icons i would simply burn out and never write, so i've decided to go without them. i just find it easier to write without worrying about it. i don't know how people feel about gifs, so unless that's something you're okay with, i won't be using them in threads either!

Overall progress: very little tbh bro we JUST started.

But hey! I am officially further than I was 2 years ago! And, my motivation is still intact! Gonna keep pushing forward!

I'm probably not going to update after EVERY scene is boarded, just the important ones or when I finish the boarding process entirely and move on to digitizing the boards (which should not take long), then FINALLY to the animation itself!

"Barcelona Film Festival" for Visual Diary

This grabbed my eyes as the idea of grabbing attention from audience is creative executed for the film festival.

The colors palette is wisely used choosing red for background showing the boldness to grab the attention. The people in white dress with black hats is a great contrast with red showing the importance and intensity of the theme.

The individual wearing hats themed as eyes is symbolizing the idea of seeing, observing, and watching. Through these hats, the designer is creatively conveying the main idea of the film festival where the film are being showcased to the audience.

It also has typography element, BccN, the typography used in the image is clean, bold, and black in color. With capital alphabet in the beginning and end shows the sense of focus and intensity of the festival.
