Once again thinking about an “omega” oc (they’re half human, half made up alien species that has the a/b/o dynamics, but specifically my version of it), and here are some more thoughts about it that I want to share (and have written down somewhere so I can maybe do something with them later):

• Questions about an omega’s nest are usually taken as flirting

• Omegas instinctively wanting to put favorite items in their nest, which sucks for them when they want to, y’know, actually use those items and they have to fight their instincts to retrieve said items

• Omegas wanting to instinctively have a nest everywhere causing territory disputes in school, at home, and other places they may be frequently

Bruce smiles lazily and continues to card his fingers through Clark's hair, enjoying the loose-limbed weight of his partner resting across his chest, satisfied and warm. Clark makes a muffled nmrgh sound and presses his face a little more into Bruce's body. God, he's getting nuzzled. Maybe Clark wasn't-

Oh. No, he wasn't joking. Bruce feels it before he hears it, a low, slow vibration against his torso. He continues to stroke his fingers through Clark's hair, and a slow dawn of happiness rises in his body. Clark feels so safe with him that he lets himself purr. Bruce watches Clark's shoulders relax even further after a few moments. He hadn’t even thought that was possible. The man’s practically liquid. Nothing short of the world ending could stop him continuing to be here, continuing to tease Clark’s soft hair between his fingers as Clark’s heart-warm body rumbles with contentment draped over his own. God, Bruce wishes he could purr back.

After a few minutes, Clark turns his head, resting his chin on Bruce’s chest, looking up to him languidly. The mate markings on his cheeks and forehead are glowing faintly, and a smile traces the corners of his mouth and eyes as the rumbling purr continues. Bruce diverts his hand for a moment to stroke Clark’s cheekbone with his thumb, feeling the line of greater warmth on the marking, and Clark closes his eyes. Bruce tries not to compare it to petting a dog or a cat. It’s Clark. He’s better. Although…

“Hey,” Bruce murmurs, and watches the sweep of Clark’s thick eyelashes as those unearthly blue eyes open. He slowly blinks at Clark, feeling a little like an idiot and a lot in love. Clark looks puzzled for a moment but then, his eyes brighten and he snorts, his stupid smothered laugh he doesn’t do around anyone else.

“You dorrrk,” he says. The effect is completely ruined by his sappy smile and the slight flip on the r, persisting from his rumbly purr. Bruce, unnatural contentedness lightening his whole being, grins at Clark, and Clark rolls his eyes and then slow blinks back at Bruce. “I love you too.”

name meaning: Khan, which is more popular as a surname, is a Turkish boy's name meaning "prince". Khan is a shorter form of Khagan, and was originally a historic title given to military chiefs and rulers. During his time under Marcus' command, Khan was not only forced to create powerful weapons and design an entire warship fitting to Marcus' demands, but he was also forced to go through mental as well as physical abuse. Marcus used his crew to control him, threatened Khan to take their lives if he were to disobey; Two of his people died this way, leaving Khan devastated and broken.

Khan is, in fact, not human - this information is confidental, however, and the few papers existing from the time he was risen are locked up somewhere in the archives. Marcus knows, however, with him being of high rank - which is precisely why he wanted to keep and use Khan for his purposes.

During his time as a ruler in between 1992 and 1996, Khan maintained a close relationship to a selected few of his following (mostly males, with a few rare exceptions) - the mentioned relationship included connections of sexual kind, but didn't really turn into romantic love-interests. They all enjoyed each other's company together, as a group, on more than just one occasion.

three things your character likes doing in their free time:

Reading. He enjoys a lot of different genres, prefers the feel of real paper between his fingers, but will also use whatever electronic device is offered to him to entertain himself.

Stargazing. It reminds him of his childhood, back when he'd been risen in the twentieth century; The stars have always fascinated him, perhaps it has to do with his origins.

Cooking. He rarely gets the chance to do so, but Khan enjoys the logical but also creative approach of creating dishes - he's a big fan of the asian as well as indian cuisine.

eight people your character likes / loves: His crew, obviously. Seventy-two people, still within their cryotubes; He would do anything for them, as he knows they would do anything for him in return. He considers them his family, his friends, people he holds most dear.

Besides them, he doesn't keep any close connections at the current time. While residing under Marcus' command, he didn't really care about anyone else, only had the occasional chat with others working at Section 31, but nothing of significant nature.

The rest is entirely thread-dependent; Khan is about to connect to @darehearts, he also feels very close to @sxbaist (in every single Verse) and, besides that, is starting to connect tentatively to a few other muses. (Also very verse-dependent; In his MCU verses he's getting relatively close to @bloodstainedstar and is already deeply in love with @mehrere-musen - in one alien verse he is friends with @noblehcart and in another alien verse he is also deeply in love with @ssolessurvivor)

two things your character regrets:

Having put his people into the torpedoes he'd designed. Back when he'd done it, there hadn't been any other way available for him to try and smuggle them into safety - yet, with how the events unfolded in the end, part of him regrets that he's executed his own plan and, sadly, got discovered in the process, forcing him to leave them behind while escaping alone.

Having put himself as well as his crew into cryotubes to begin with. Back when all of them had been forced into exile, he'd planned for them to sleep a few years while their ship drifted through space, far away from earth, so as to allow them all to resume their lives at another point. That his own cryotube malfunctioned, didn't wake him up within the estimated timespan, he obviously didn't account for; Ten of his friends lost their lives because of that, and, in the end, Marcus found them over two hundred years after the Eugenic Wars had happened, resulting in the whole desaster that followed.

Phobias fears your character has:

The fear of losing someone he loves, either plantonic or romantic. Because of what he's gone through while being held hostage by Marcus, made to witness the death of two of his people caused by the Admiral's hands, Khan ever since experiences the overwhelming fear of being unable to keep someone safe and, therefore, lose them forever. Whoever gets close to him, he intents to protect, and he might become a bit overly protective because of his mentioned fear.

A mild 'fear' of doctors / scientists. It manifests less in actual fear but more in varying stages of discomfort; Because of what he went through as a child as well as under Marcus' command, he's not too fond of being handled by either of them.

A quiet exhale breathed out for the next several minutes, shaking his head as his clutch released the hold onto the black seas of hair and let the memory fade back. No use recalling such useless things when it was well in the past and remained in the present. Remembering was a curse in itself when some things were better left forgotten in the cold sands of time scattering around the emptiness of a mind not wanting to dig.

Snorting out, his eyes flicked towards the small ball already making a nest of his own bed like it belonged there. Seeking shelter in the den of one of the most vicious and powerful creature in this universe, how is it this lowly creature had no fear of him? Not the slightest quiver than the purring that reached his ears as though it didn't mind him being in the same room.

" You don't have the slightest idea how close you were to being eaten. Your ignorance is disgusting as is your puny weakness. "

"I'm not—" The older version of Thad begins before glancing in the direction the very dazed present-day version of himself and then back to the anon, "We're not one's to kiss and tell, but seeing how there's no answering the question without present-day Thad embarrassing himself to death, I'll take the reins here. Just remember Match's mine, I'm just sharing some scientific facts. Though don't let Match know I said anything." He says before adding with a smirk, "Not that he has anything to be ashamed of."

He chuckles, "Heh, cute, anonymous, but honestly? You're not too far off the mark in your comparison. However, they certainly can't compare to Match in my personal opinion. His, ahem, equipment has a similar structural design to that of a cisgender human male, but there are apparent differences on a first look regarding aspects such as shape and texture. However," He flashes a smile at the anon, "those intimate details are for me to know and for you to never find out."

"Honestly, I'm more surprised you're not asking about his other differences. The prominent fangs. The unique vocalizations such as growling. Elevated temperature. And more." He raises his fingers one by one, "Kryptonians are incredibly fascinating."

Accidental Alien Dad

Peter was at work one day about to leave for patrol when he got an alert that something had landed in NYC, he was closer than his Father so the Stark satellites alerted him as well and when he got there he found a small alien creature. It seemed friendly enough, and so he took it back to his lab and did a few scans. He ended up taking it in and adopting it as a pet, eventually getting a sample from it to make sure that it wasn’t in any way toxic before letting his sister or any of his friends meet it.

He ended up naming the creature Count Gouda of the Stark Dynasty, calling him Count, Gouda or Goud for short. Unknown to him this was not an alien animal that he’s taken in, but a baby from an alien species that landed on Earth. He might have a slight internal crisis about his naming choice when he realizes that he named the baby of a sentient species “Count Gouda of the Stark Dynasty”.

Will bitted his lip with a soft grin as he glanced up at Steve, someone that became so important in Will’s life in such a short amount of time and if you told him few years ago he would find another big brother in Steve he wouldn’t believe it.

“Steve I huh…I get what you’re trying to do and I really appreciate it, but you can’t erase 15 years of bullying, and self hatred in one day, I wish you could tho…”. And even if that was true just by having the older here with him was already making him feel better and he really couldn’t help the stupid smile on his face and light blush plus it really wouldn’t be fair to Steve if he fake said it.

" But if you keep saying it I might believe it one day " specially coming from Steve he was sure it would make an effect on him, but he needed some time to actually work on himself and loving himself, plus with the alien it wasn't easy.

He really needed to start working on that and if he had Steve along the way it would be ten times better.

Leilani steps out of the wormhole and assess her surroundings. Earth, or at least it looks like it. Nothing at all like Alola, though! Despite her suit being well-insulated against any potential weather, just looking at the landscape makes her shiver. Well, with any luck, she can find her way to the nearest city and restock on some necessities! She was in dire need of potions... and snacks.

It isn't until she spots another trainer that she realizes something is very wrong. That... definitely doesn't look like modern clothing. Uh-oh. Please, please, please tell her it was just a fashion quirk! She didn't need to step out of a wormhole dressed like the Aether Foundation's take on Darth Vader and cause some kind of time paradox.

"Um... A-Alola?" She raises her visor tentatively, as if that would make this whole situation any less weird.
