Kyoya is absolutely noting your change in demeanor about the topic. He does find it cute, but he doesn’t say anything. There is an amused look on his face as he just stays quiet and listens to you.

 When Haruhi woke up on her first day at Ouran High School, she discovered herself suddenly much shorter than before, male and sleeping in a room filled with cute things. Oddly enough the cute things confused her the most.

 She got out of bed and began looking for a phone, the door opening to reveal a man in a suit.

 “Master Mitsukuni, your father wonders where you are.” The man said.

 “I’m not uhh… Mitsukuni.” Haruhi said awkwardly. “I’m his soulmate I guess? Just woke up.” She shuffled awkwardly. “Looking for his phone so I can call my own to warn my dad.” Inside herself, Haruhi wondered at the fact apparently her soulmate had a butler of some sort. How rich was he?

 “Ah!” The man looked surprised before smiling. “Congratulations on the occasion. I will inform Haninozuka senior and his wife. I believe Master Mitsukuni charges his phone at his desk…” the butler trailed off.

 “Fujioka Haruhi,” Haruhi bowed. She moved to the desk to grab the phone, surprised to see an expensive version. She hesitated but then unlocked it. Luckily it had a face lock. She typed her number in once she got to the phone app and waited.

 “HARUHI~” her father’s voice came through the phone. “Your soulmate is so sweet!!!” 

 “I’m happy you think so dad,” Haruhi snorted. “He recognizes the number?”

 “He did. Your father wondered where you were.” Haruhi clarified.

 “I didn’t show up for morning practice,” Mitsukuni agreed. The door to the room opened again and Haruhi turned to look at a man entering the room.

 “Mitsukuni? And Fujioka?” The man said. Haruhi put the phone on speaker. 

 “Hi, dad!” Mitsukuni said cheerfully. “Haruhi and her dad don’t have a car so it might be a bit before we can get to the house! I’ve never ridden a train before!” The horror look on the older man’s face caused Haruhi to wonder, just how rich was her soulmate?!

Anyways, fuck the person that called Honey a sh*ta. He is LITERALLY the Lolita type. Lolita fashion was very popular in the 90s and 00s.

Lolita fashion is a subculture from Japan that is highly influenced by Victorian clothing and styles from the Rococo period. A very distinctive property of Lolita fashion is the aesthetic of cuteness. This clothing subculture can be categorized into three main substyles: 'gothic', 'classic', and 'sweet'.

The manga for Ouran High School Host Club was serialized between September 02 and November 10. The time *when* the fashion and culture was popular which makes sense for why Bisco Hatori would include a host fitting that archetype. Mitsukuni Haninozuka is literally described as being attractive to guests due to his cutesy interests and young physique (which in itself was due to Kyoya giving him medicine to stunt his growth as a way to preserve that cuteness). However, he is very much a mature individual and had proven to be capable of handling things on his own. He may be childish but is not at all a child. He's the oldest of the group and considered a senior.

Circling back to how the guests find him "attractive". You can find someone attractive, or appealing (which is the literal definition), without being attracted to them. Our host identifies as asexual/aceflux yet they still find people to be attractive. Pleasing on the eyes. Pretty.

Honey Senpai's role in the host club is to *be* cute. Teenage girls like cute things. They like tea parties, sweets, and plushies. These line up with Honey's interests and thus the guests would in turn like him.

We've met actual people Host's age (19) around his height (around 5' / 60 inches) and some of them are still baby faced. While Honey was given medicine, people biological age/mature differently. Some look older whereas some look younger.

Tldr; For Christ's sake, never, ever call him a sh*ta. That's not at *all* what he is. Honey represents the popular fashion subculture known as lolita. Moreso the "sweet" categorization as lolita is based around a "cute" aesthetic.

every few weeks, oikawa sleeps over and you guys watch a musical and sing (maybe dance) along, do facemasks, try to dye your strips multiple colors (oikawa’s idea), and just be chaotic together. oikawa knows all the lyrics to the heather’s songs, and he loves heather chandler with a passion, and refuses to take any criticism about her character.

he will not hesitate to tease you about how much taller he is, and he will rest his arm on the top of your head just to be a bitch. he loves pda, because he wants everyone to know that you are his, so he will be holding your hand or having his arm wrapped around your shoulder every time you are around him.

since he saw you liked to embroider things, he wanted to give it a try as well, but he was really bad at it, and ended up messing up the stitches stabbing his fingers many times. he was lowkey grumpy for the rest of the time you were embroidering with him, and now whenever you ask if he wants to embroider with you it’s a hard no. he’ll still watch you do it though, but he won’t try it again.

oikawa likes when you draw or write on his hands as well, because he can tell everyone that his girlfriend drew the little doodles if someone asks. as a joke one time, you wrote that kageyama was a better setter, and he didn’t let you even touch his hands for a solid week. (his reaction was really funny so it was worth it).

he really likes when you wear his jersey or jacket, so he will always offer it if you even slightly mention that you are cold. if you don’t return one of his jackets, because you wanted to wear it for longer, he will pretend to be annoyed, but he’s secretly really happy that you want to wear his stuff, so he won’t ask for it back.

his nephew loves you, and he has said to oikawa’s face that he likes you more than he like him, and oikawa was very jealous of you, and was very petty towards his nephew, and you and his nephew both thought it was super funny, and tried to make him even more annoyed, because he was so dramatic and it was honestly god tier comedy.

whenever he gets some sweet milk bread, he will share it with you after class. you guys just vibe with music while sharing the snack, and just talk about whatever comes to mind. some of the longest and most in depths have come from these times. it’s actually pretty relaxing, and both of you are fine to just talk with each other for hours on end while chilling after school.

overall, you and oikawa can get chaotic when you want to, but you guys still have a strong relationship built off trust and the mutual drive to do better. people love to be around you guys because you both just radiate “fuck it let’s do it” energy and it’s always a fun vibe to be around with.

I think Tamaki actually has different types of hugs depending on the mood. We know he is romantic but he can be overdramatic. I think his favorite hugs would be the ones that have eye contact. So back hugs aren’t really his favorite. He likes when you wrap your arms around his shoulders and he has his around your waist. Usually these hugs have kisses in them. Now for when he is feeling dramatic. He definitely would pick you up and twirl you around. He loves your laugh and wants everyone to know that laugh is his.

Kyoya Ootori

I think he would like side hugs the best. Giving and receiving. He is busy so he would want to give is S/O affection quickly. I imagine he would give you a quick hug and a kiss on your forehead before leaving. I don’t think he would like the overdramatic ones. So no twirling and no catching in this household.

Hikaru Hitachiin

Oh, this boy would definitely sneak up behind his S/O and hug them. He likes giving his S/O a little scare before showering them in affection. He would also pick up his S/O. The first time he picked them up... well they both fell. Hikaru would definitely do the pickpocket kinda hug (searched that name). Only when he knows that your relationship is really close and you are okay with it. He doesn’t really like quick hugs. Even when he is in a rush. Kaoru Hitachiin

It is strange because Kaoru is my favorite but he was the hardest for me to choose. I think he would like cuddle hugs. Cuddle hugs can be romantic but also playful. Kaoru would love to cuddle his S/O as he wraps his arms around them. He loves falling asleep and waking up in his S/O’s arms. Don’t let that fool you though. He will start tickling his S/O and kissing them in places where he knows they will laugh. So don’t get too comfortable.

Mitsukuni Haninozuka

He would definitely love the running and catching hugs. If you are taller than him. (Unlike me who is an inch taller.) We all know Mitsukuni can be mature. Honey

Loves all the bright colors because they make you stand out and really pop.

Would love to get you bright scarves or hats or anything else that's super colorful.

He would 100% get you a stuffed animal that's super colorful so Usa-Chan can have a friend!

Honestly because you wear bright colors, he might make that your whole thing with anything he does for you includes bright colors. 

Absolutely gets you cake that has like pastel colored frosting.

Hikaru

He really likes the alternative style. He teases you about it though just because he can.

Probably makes a comment about, "you have enough accessories?" As a joke.

Or make comments that he's going blind due to your clothes (which might not always be him teasing).

Although, he knows fashion and will be quick to tell you if you're a disgrace to the family (but in a slightly nicer way).

He loves you, likes your choice in clothes, but he won't let you get away if you do look like a disaster. Even with the school uniform, you only have so many options.

Kaoru

A lot nicer than Hikaru when it comes to your clothing.

Like he'll tease you too but tell you that you look nice afterwards.

Of course, also a guy of fashion, so he might make wardrobe suggestions at times. Like if you should use different accessories or maybe try a jacket too.

Enjoys the bright colors you wear because they do give off more cheery vibes. Although might suggest different colors if the clothes are a bit of an eyesore.

Helps you get past the school uniform with keeping the same thing but adding more accessories to the dress. If anyone says anything, then he'll throw some money their way.

Kyoya

Would probably make a bit of a snarky comment about how your clothes hurt his eyes or are going to blind everyone due to the brightness.

He doesn't mean any of the harshness, he just prefers more cool toned colors to all the bright.

It is an interesting contrast for you two. Opposites attract, right? Kyoya does find amusement in that.

He probably gets some teasing from Tamaki about the opposites attract thing. Kyoya might mess with the blonde with saying that there’s a reason you two work together, just to make Tamaki sweat at the idea that you’re actually scary.

Would jokingly gift you something that's a darker color but then show he actually got you some cute accessory that goes well with a particular outfit you like.

Mori

He finds your clothing style to be very adorable. All the bright colors reminds him of Honey, but your style is also a bit darker than Honey in a way.

Doesn't really mind your style of clothing. It's your choice and he isn't going to make you change it.

He's pretty intimidating, so not a lot of people are going to say anything about your clothes because he'll be quick to send a glare their way.

Will be happy to go shopping with you and carry your bags while also pointing out belts or jewelry that he thinks would look good.

He surprisingly has an eye for alternative clothes.

Tamaki

Like Honey, also enjoys the bright colors because they stand out and also just make you look radiant.

Due to the school uniform, he would gladly invite you to the Clubroom before it’s opened just to try on new outfits with him.

Also invites you because he likes to get matching clothing with you and it’s his way of color coordinating with you.

Loves to go with you on the weekends to the mall or some shopping center to find clothing or accessories that go nicely with your clothing style.

He absolutely buys those necklaces where you’re supposed to keep one and give the other away because it’s his way of matching with you and considering it’s a necklace, it’s easy to sneak past the dress code at school.

The Case for Takashi x Haruhi P.1

As most of my followers may already know, my OTP for Ouran Host Club is Takashi Morinozuka with Haruhi Fujioka. When I read the manga for the first time I fell in love with the idea of them being a couple and the more I re-read the volumes the more I believe they should have been together.

I want to make a case for Takashi and Haruhi for a few reasons; 

I believe they have silent chemistry throughout the manga. 

They have similar interests and values, making them compatible. 

They have a good understanding of each other that the manga doesn’t really delve into. 

They interact a lot behind the scenes in the manga but we never see those moments, only hear about them afterwards. So they spend more time together than we are aware of.

I’ve noticed a lot of the appeal around this couple is based on pairing the tall host with the small host but their relationship goes much deeper than a fetish. 

By creating this post I am by no means insulting other pairings or the people who ship other pairings. I am just a person who wants to spread more love for TakashixHaruhi into the world. Also, this is purely for fun and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. These are made-up characters, not real people, so to each their own!

Naturally, this series will have spoilers for manga. 

Shall we begin? The post covers Volumes 1-2. Because I am using examples from the manga this case will be broken down into separate posts. Please stay tuned for the following posts!

I will only use examples from the manga for this case because the anime and live-action, though deriving from the manga, have been altered in a few ways and I want to stay true to the story line. 

The Beginning

When Haruhi is first introduced to the Host Club the manga doesn’t give a set timeline of when each host discovered her true gender, only that the other hosts continue calling Haruhi a guy for Tamaki’s sake - because he doesn’t figure it out until the very end of Episode 1. 

When Haruhi is trapped in a deadly Tamaki hug she calls out to Takashi for help. I’m sure she asked for his help only because he was nearest to her but his reaction is what’s interesting. The anime uses this moment to show when Takashi discovers Haruhi is a girl... but again... the manga doesn’t show a clear timeline when each host discovers her real gender. 

I emphasize on the timeline because of this moment right here. 

Let’s say Takashi knew her real gender from the beginning. It would explain why he quickly comes to her rescue without hesitation - or even a glance at Mitsukuni. He wouldn’t allow a lady to suffer an uncomfortable situation. 

I would also say his inappropriate hold on Haruhi could be explained by his lack of experience with handling women. I headcanon Takashi as a person who doesn’t act outside his interests - sort of like Kyoya - but his intentions are purer. Takashi will not lead on a woman if he doesn’t like her. He’s too much of a gentleman to lay his hands on a woman. I’m sure Takashi doesn’t have experience rescuing women from deadly hugs and so his haste actions led him to touch Haruhi’s chest. 

Now, I do believe Takashi knew she was a woman before he rescued her from Tamaki’s hug.

I say that because of this...

Mitsukuni says he knew Haruhi’s real gender the moment he met her. The manga doesn’t really reveal which moment that is; it’s between meeting her at the vase and handing her his bunny. 

However, can we honestly believe that Mitsukuni did not tell his own cousin what he discovered? He wouldn’t have kept such a juicy secret to himself! He must have told Takashi while they were out of frame. Which leads me to believe Takashi also knew from the beginning... thus his rescue becomes more interesting. 

But what about Haruhi? We know that Takashi and Mitsukuni at least find her interesting (it’s still the beginning so I’m sure they’re more curious than in love) but what does Haruhi think about them?

In Episode 1 and 2 she is introduced to the hosts and slowly learns more about them but she isn’t curious to know more about them. In fact, the two people she wants to know more about are...

Takashi and Mitsukuni. 

Takashi’s Distracted

In Episode 2 we see a brief exchange between Takashi and Haruhi that neither the anime or the live action includes. Takashi storms into the Host Club with his battered cousin because he accidentally stepped on him. 

Takashi - the Kendo champion, the man bred to protect and serve the Haninozuka family, the loyal friend who never leaves Mitsukuni out of his sight - wasn’t paying attention long enough to step on Mitsukuni. 

I’ll be the first to say this may be a long stretch but... what if Takashi was distracted because of a certain host maiden? 

By Takashi’s drastic reaction - breaking the door of its hinge and hitting Kanako with said door without noticing - he felt terrible about hurting Mitsukuni. It’s out of character for him. So this begs the question, what has caught Takashi’s attention? 

Haruhi helps bandage Mitsukuni’s wound while Takashi mends the door he broke. When Haruhi announces Mitsukuni will be ok Takashi offers her a smile as his thanks. 

And Haruhi blushes because he smiled. 

Takashi Blushes Over Haruhi 

We mostly see Tamaki, the twins, and occasionally Mitsukuni blushing over Haruhi and her natrual cuteness. But Takashi is also affected by her and he is often blushing alongside his friends. 

Takashi is just as affected by Haruhi but since he’s the silent one who prefers to stand in the very back... he’s either easily overlooked or quickly forgotten. 

Takashi Becomes Protective Over Her

Episode 3 in the manga is Episode 4 in the anime; when Renge is introduced. Remember the scene when Renge provokes two Class-D students to anger for her movie and Haruhi gets hurt because of it? The anime shows Tamaki as her sole savior but the manga adds another person to her rescue...

What makes this scene very interesting to me is the fact that Mitsukuni isn’t shown. The twins are seen sarcastically calling for a teacher to chastise the troublemakers and Kyoya - who infamously breaks the camera - but no Mitsukuni. Either his shortness naturally kept him out of frame or Takashi moved without him. 

If the latter is true... then that means Takashi left Mitsukuni to save Haruhi. 

Here we see him acting protective over Haruhi way before the artificial beach scene - we’ll get to that part. 

The Forgotten Trio

I would like to point out something that I’ve noticed in both manga and anime; Haruhi prefers to sit with Takashi and Mitsukuni if she chooses to join a table. She doesn’t join Tamaki or the twins and the only time she joins Kyoya is to speak to him. 

Why is this important? Because I surmise Haruhi is naturally drawn to the duo. They offer the most peace in the club. Since this isn’t the only time she sits with the cousins I would say she finds solace with them. Tamaki is an obnoxious flirt, the twins are mischievous devils, and Kyoya is a conniving shadow lord... it makes sense Haruhi would prefer the quiet servant and the bubbly martial artist.

Takashi Doesn’t Want Haruhi To Leave 

We all remember the glorious moment when the Host Club was able to convince Haruhi into going along with their plans and remain their secret host maiden. 

But have we forgotten that Takashi was the one to strike the deal?

Takashi didn’t want Haruhi to leave the Host Club - and dare I say leave him - and remembered she still hadn’t tasted giant tuna (mind you, he remembered that from the Christmas party and it is now the spring physical exams). 

And we know that he hit the nail on the head with this because it caught Haruhi’s attention. Our quiet boy pays very good attention to our host maiden, guys!

The Artificial Beach

Probably the most famous interaction between Takashi and Haruhi is when they traveled through Kyoya’s artificial beach together in search of Mitsukuni. Most people like this scene because Takashi calls her by name for the first time and he protects her from armed police. I like this scene for the same reasons but I want to add a few more points I think are interesting.

First off, we see that Takashi is becoming more comfortable around Haruhi. He approaches her when he wants to take a break from Mitsukuni and gratefully accepts her drink (which she already took a sip of, it’s not like she’s offering him a brand new bottle of water). 

When Mitsukuni is swept away by the tide and the group searches for him, Haruhi notices Takashi is acting weird without his cousin. While everyone is focused on finding Mitsukuni, Haruhi is focused on Takashi and how he’s coping. 

That says so much... right there. She notices he’s acting weird and instead of making fun of his clumsiness like the twins or turning a blind eye to his fall, she instead worries about him. 

But she doesn’t silently worry about him. She tries to comfort him. This is the first time in the manga where we see Haruhi trying to comfort someone in pain! And it’s Takashi! 

The anime has him say “you’re right” but in the manga he doesn’t say anything. He just rumples her hair in response. 

Also, the anime doesn’t show her reaction. Here we see how she reacts. 

AND SHE BLUSHES WITH A SMILE! Takashi doesn’t say a word and yet she understands him. She understands all that he is saying in his smile and his small action. And not only does she understand it, she accepts it with a smile and a blush! (I am getting goosebumps just typing this). LOOK AT THEIR SMILES FOR EACH OTHER!

When Takashi wants to wander off into the jungle Haruhi insists on joining him, even fighting the jungle along the way. Haruhi, the lethargic one who would rather stay out of people’s business and not get involved where she doesn’t need to, chases after Takashi into the jungle. She didn’t have to. She could have easily let him wander off and tell Kyoya that they lost Takashi too. 

She was willing to get lost in the jungle with Takashi to make sure he was alright. 

We all remember Haruhi thinking it felt nice to hear Takashi say her name (which will never go unnoticed) but I want to ask... why did he choose that moment to say her name? He’s known her for a few months now and yet he chose that moment to say her name. 

This proves Takashi is becoming very comfortable with Haruhi (also proven with how he picks her up without asking her permission - and she allows it) and his feelings are beginning to make themselves known. 

He sees her trying to comfort him, to keep him company, and to watch him. He sees her doing his job. This probably moved him to act on his feelings rather than his manners. 

When the Black Onion Squad catches up to them, I notice two things; Takashi’s serious face and how Haruhi holds onto him. 

The anime doesn’t show how protective Takashi becomes. The manga shows him becoming her human shield against the armed police. He literally hides her beneath him while he’s fending off the guns. And by his facial expression he will not give up Haruhi without a fight. 

Also... I wonder about something. The Morinozukas and the Haninozukas are known to train bodyguards and personal armies. And with Takashi being Kyoya’s friend for a while now, wouldn’t he have recognized the Black Onion Squad as Kyoya’s men? Wouldn’t he have read a badge or recognize the uniforms? Because remember, the men apologized profusely for hunting down Mitsukuni and confessed to having trained in their dojos. 

Takashi must have known that Haruhi wasn’t in any real danger since it was Kyoya’s personal army... and yet he still refused to give her up.

Bangtan Host Club Au

Bangtan Academy, a prestigious private school where those who have outstanding wealth and class send their kids to. The Bangtan Host Club is where handsome boys with charming personalities entertain girls and make them feel wanted. Each of the members possesses a different appeal to their clients.

Kim Seokjin - Tamaki Suoh The club’s good-looking president and is the “Princely” type of host who has two sides to him. When hosting and entertaining, he’s flamboyant, shamelessly flatterers them, poised and charming. Very popular with both the ladies and the boys. But when he’s with his friends, Jin is actually a childish kid at heart. He’s brazen about his motives and is very outspoken. At the same time, he is always genuine with the things he does and is a hard worker.

Relationship with the members: He started the host club with Yoongi - his right-hand man whom he can trust. His loud personality sometimes clashes with Yoongi’s more calm demeanour but they work well together. Is always taking part in Taekook’s trouble making and loves having a laugh with them because they’re the ones who have the same humour as him.

Personal Life: On the outside, it’s easy to assume that he’s a man of no worries, always cheery and bright. But he hides his troubled past deep within him. As the illegitimate son of the private boarding school’s Director, he is shunned by his father’s relatives. His mother had passed away giving birth to him, rendering him to be alone for most of his life. Hence he considers the club members his family.

Min Yoongi - Kyoya Ootori He is the appointed vice-president of Bangtan Host Club and is the “Cool” type of host. At first glance, he can come off as cold, emotionally detached and threatening. But after getting to know him, people find that they mistook those traits for his calm mannerism. He has superior intelligence, is a devious strategist and is diligent when it comes to his role: calculating the club’s finances and logistics. The only member that cares enough about earning revenue from hosting through events and online auctions of the members’ personal items/pictures.

Relationship with the members: Although he tends to brush off Jin’s affections, he does considers the older boy to be his best friend. Is very fond of him but will never say that out loud. While Jin goes off planning extravagant events, Yoongi plays the puppet-master behind the curtains, directing where their money goes. He gets along well with Hoseok - the rookie host and often chats, both being level-headed with high intelligence and low emotionality.

Personal Life: Yoongi comes from a wealthy and influential family that dabbles in the medical industry and owns a reputable Hospital. As the third son, he often feels overshadowed by his older brothers. It fuels him to be even more competitive in terms of his father’s respect and succeeding the family company. He is very good at picking out powerful people and using his politeness and charms to flatter them.

Taekook/Vkook - The Hitachiin Twins They were the first members to be recruited by Jin and are known to be the “Little Devils” type in the host club. Both are very mischievous troublemakers that love to stir chaos in the club. The way they appeal to the girls is with their act of “Forbidden Brotherly Love” where they play off each other’s whimsical whimpers and heroism. They bask in the girls’ excited squeals whenever they get overly affectionate with each other. Both of them are witty and born schemers - always plotting drama between members.

Taehyung - Hikaru Hitachiin The older of the twin. Although they’re identical, their personalities differ slightly with Taehyung being more dependant on his younger brother. He can be childishly over-possessive of his brother and members and tends to get jealous if either one of them is close to someone outside of the club. The way he deals with problems is irrational albeit him doing it with his best intentions. Taehyung is a very loyal person who will willingly be his members’ ride-or-die friend.

Jungkook - Kaoru Hitachiin Despite him being younger, Jungkook is considered to be the more mature sibling. He is just as playful as Taehyung but is more insightful and easy-going. Was the first to understand independence (when they’re apart) and had to slowly teach his brother the same thing. When he is apart from Taehyung, Jungkook is able to be serious. But once his twin is by his side, he reverts back to being troublemakers. Very, very, very protective of Taehyung.

Relationships with the members: As they get to spend more time with the rookie host, they develop a liking to the boy. Hoseok is the first person not to get upset over their teasing and instead either tolerates or chides them for it. Because he was so upfront with them, they end up showing him a lot of respect and forms a brotherly bond with him. Jin, being the exuberant and over the top character that he is, makes a perfect target for the twins’ teasing. Yoongi, on the other hand, is the one person they don’t dare to pick on. Instead, they act like his minions, always heeding his orders.

Personal Life: The twins’ family aren’t the cohesive kind. Their parents barely spend time with them - both mum and dad are always busy with work. Hence this resulted in the twins’ reclusive behaviour of sticking to only each other. Since they were toddlers, the twins have been inseparable and only depended the other. Their lack of social skills caused them to be distant from their classmates until Jin showed up and invited them to the club.

Park Jimin - Mitsukuni “Honey” Haninozuka People often mistake him to be younger than his age due to his short height and babyish face. He is known to be the “Loli shota-esque” type in the club. Girls are attracted to him for his innocent features - cute eye smile, chubby cheeks - and his positive approach to life. He may appear aloof to things but is actually highly intelligent, intuitive and observant. Despite his general optimistic nature, Jimin can be scary when provoked. Is said to be most fearsome when angry.

Relationship with the members: He is closest to Namjoon - his cousin and best friend. Even though they’re like two peas in a pod, their personalities are on different ends of the scale. Jimin is very touchy with Namjoon, always hugging him and climbing on his back whenever they walk around in school. Their platonic brotherly love melts the girls’ hearts. Jimin is also known to be the shoulder to cry on in the club and is very kind-hearted. Members would regularly come to him for advice from the little things to the big matters.

Personal Life: Jimin is very open about his personal life and his family members. He has a younger brother the same age as Jungkook and Taehyung - Park Jihyun. Jihyun has told his brother repeatedly that he isn’t interested in joining the Host Club. Instead, he’s more drawn to the school’s prestigious fencing club and every tournament he has, Jimin would bring the members to support him. Jimin’s father owns an export company, hence he and his brothers were raised in a well-off environment. Jimin often credits his optimistic view on life on how he grew up.

Kim Namjoon - Takashi “Mori” Morinozuka Considered to be the “strong silent” type in the club for his tall built and his reserved nature. Girls would often gush over him for his mysterious vibe. Rarely seen without Jimin by his side or riding on his back. His stoic expressions and sometimes serious demeanour are often mistaken for someone who’s cold and heartless. When in reality, Namjoon is a softie on the inside. It’s not known to many but he has a peculiar love for crabs. Only Jimin has seen his extensive collection of crabs in a tank in his room.

Relationships with the members: As he is mostly sitting quietly during their hosting events, Namjoon has developed a good sense of reading between the lines and guessing the mood of the surroundings. Making him a wise adviser to the members that seek counsel. Extremely well-respected by the members and well-liked by everyone who knows him. Won’t hesitate to help out any one of them. Namjoon feels responsible for Jimin and treats him like his little baby.

Personal Life: While Jimin is extremely talkative about his family’s activities, Namjoon rarely reveals details on his own. The most he has told the members is that he is the only son. His parents live overseas to run their business so he lives with Jimin’s family. Even though he doesn’t speak about them, he always makes an effort to call his parents after dinner.

Jung Hoseok - Haruhi Fujioka The rookie host - said to be the “Natural” type - who entered the prestigious private school through an honours scholarship. Hoseok is a very straight-forward student who would bluntly express his feelings. Having raised by what the other students deem to be “poor circumstances”, Hoseok is more responsible and practical than the others. He is peaceful and doesn’t like judging a person, accepting them for who they are. Girls love requesting for him during hosting events for his charming smile and easy going conversations. It’s not a secret that he is scaredy-cat in the group and is especially afraid of the thunder.

Relationships with the members: Hoseok gets along well with every member but is closest to the twins. He always gets dragged into their schemes and pranks but ends up enjoying it anyway. Sometimes he gets exasperated over Jin’s melodramatic acts but still cares for him deeply. His first expression of Yoongi was that he was a cold and manipulative person but soon realise it was only a facade, masking his good-heartedness. Hoseok often envies the relationship Jimin has with Namjoon and wishes he had someone whom he can rely on.

Personal Life: Hoseok leads a fairly average life with his mother in a 2-bedroom apartment. His father had passed away when he was only a toddler so his memory of the man is very vague. His mother works as a manager in a small restaurant, earning enough to support the two of them. Over summer vacations, he takes up part-time jobs to help with paying for his school fees (only ¾ of it is being subsidised for his scholarship). He is also very hardworking and considers his studies to be very important to him - vowing that once he graduates at the top of the school, he was going to land a high paying job to take care of his mother.
