i made myself chuckle today by thinking of something kind of immature. and it was in a certain scenario, where things were suddenly starting to wind down while tyler + bunny were on the phone — and as you can imagine... she is still pretty new to some of the nuances of flirting as well as just the ways in which humans communicate with others as well.

so all i could think about was bunny mask telling him to hang up, and then tyler being like 'no, you hang up' expecting her to keep it going. but she indeed just hangs up, and i JSJSJ LMAOOO it is just so funny to think about for some reason because tyler would probably be like 'wait, what the hell did i do' when it's literally just her not knowing what the heck he was alluding to 💀

Truth be told, he doesn't think he was seriously that interesting of a person, it would warrant her sudden curiosity... but even so, he'll pause to actually think long and hard about the question she asks; only, it didn't manage to outwardly show on his impassive features, so as far as Ryu could probably tell, he was probably staring off into space.

"...Fine. My old man was a murderer, but he went and kicked the bucket before he could even be charged for his crimes," Akira tells her at long last upon figuring that would probably scare her off from further probing into his past. "I never got to meet the sorry bastard, though, so to me, he's just some guy that knocked my mom up." Naturally, he neglects to tell her Yakumo Miroku would probably have never committed the crimes in the first place had he known of his existence, for as far as he was concerned, he had already told her quite a generous amount.

...Whether or not Ryu actually believed him, however, was entirely up to her.

Misfortune Teller

tldr: An older Danny, apprentice to Clockwork, does a lot of field work across dimensions, resetting the timeline, queuing future events, and who knows what else. Occasionally, he warns people about such upcoming possibilities, to set them on the right path. How, you might ask? Well in this case... as a wandering fortune teller.

Crack-fic (oh god, it's getting long and my logic brain won't let it remain as crack) where Danny becomes Clockwork's apprentice after getting his GED. Living his infinite afterlife to the fullest. Inspired by this tumblr post.

Working for Clockwork had been... interesting so far. At first, Danny got frustrated by how vague and cryptic Clockwork was. He'd just shunt Danny off to some ancient time with a few words, his own time medallion (Danny carried it everywhere with him now), and then pop back into the portal, leaving Danny with only the faintest idea of where to go.

Eventually, after enough time (ha!) spent around Clockwork, Danny figured out that it just basically meant that he had free reign and to do whatever he wanted. Because if he went on the wrong path, (like that one time in Pompeii when he had almost caused the volcano to explode a few years too early), Clockwork would just pop on by, say another few cryptic words, and then it'd all be fine and dandy, or as he liked to say, "All is as it should be... Now stop practicing your wail by an active volcano."

After telling Jazz about that (it was supposed to be funny, not concerning), she just sighed and shook her head, with a forlorn "think before you act, Danny!" but hey, it'd turned out fine so far, so who cares how he does what Clockwork asks him to do, as long as it gets done, right? Even if it's with a liiiiitle more mischief than strictly required.

Besides. Danny was the one who had been doing time shenanigans across millennia, not Jazz. And he thought he'd been getting pretty good at it too! He'd actually started giving himself a different made-up background for each universe he visited. Sam and Tucker were helping him keep up with the identities on a spreadsheet, so if he had to go back to one he'd already visited, he'd remember who he'd said he was supposed to be.

He was on a call with them one evening while haunting Jazz's apartment, doing just that, when he felt a familiar tingle in the back of his throat, as well as a heightened awareness of the seconds passing by, that always accompanied his mentor's appearance.

Sam was talking about his past stint posing as a god of death when he cut in. "Hey- sorry to interrupt, Sam- Clocky's here, guys, I gotta dip."

"Aw, come on! We hardly talked any this past week since you passed your certifications, man," Tucker complained.

Danny rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "Yeah, yeah. Partly on you too though, you've been caught up outside of class, and Sam's schedule is nearly the opposite of yours."

Sam hummed in agreement despiter Tucker's scoff.

Danny missed hanging out with them as much as they had in high school, but hey, life goes on. Or at least, theirs did, to college. After finally flunking out of Casper High, he'd taken some time to get used to his responsibilities in the ghost zone, and when he had, he realized that he didn't really have much enthusiasm or timeleft for his human life.

And he didn't really want to go back home either.

But Jazz had made him tie up any loose ends before he noped-off to god knows where, which frankly, he had to thank her for. Getting his GED took a few years, but it was an accomplishment that could be attributed to Danny Fenton, no ghostliness required. Then he was able to let that tether go free.

Pulled out of his musings by a few more grumbles from Tucker, Danny said his goodbyes, promising to call the next time they were all available.

After hanging up, Danny swiveled around, anticipation already lighting up his eyes an ethereal green.

Clockwork, for his part, had been waiting patiently through Danny's lengthy goodbyes. Although he supposed that it tracked for the watcher of time to be patient. With his job, it'd be a nightmare if he wasn't.

"Phantom," Clockwork spoke, calm as always. "I have some tasks I need you to complete as my apprentice."

And Danny, always ready for adventure, didn't need him to explain any further. "Sure! When do you need me to be?"

Clockwork smiled at that. "I am fortunate you are eager. Follow me."

Danny popped into existence in this universe with a burst of cold air and static electricity. He found himself hovering by a clocktower above a sprawling, gothic city. Smog and light pollution obscured the stars above him, to his disappointment. He comforted himself with the fact that he'd probably have all the time he wanted to fly someplace less populated to see them later.

He started off by familiarizing himself with the city. As he flew, he followed the trail of power and met the resident city-spirit, a spooky- but kind underneath- woman draped in black lace, who told him her name was Gotham. He spoke in length with her about this universe, its heroes, and her knights. On that, she was very enthusiastic... or at least Danny thought she was, her projected emotions belaying much more than her gloomy exterior. She told him how her knights had been through a lot and would need some guidance fighting the darkness that pooled in her deepest corners, smiling with too much glee, filling lungs with fear, and terrorizing with cold hard bullets.

Danny could sense that the dangers she spoke of were growing in power, ever slowly. The longer they shadowed people's minds and hearts, an intangible thing grew that lent them more otherworldly pull than their physical forms had right to hold.

That must be what he was sent here for.

But... they were weak, pitifully so for him, infinite king as he was. And besides, he wasn't here in that sense. He was a messenger, a simple apprentice. And he could do this however he wanted.

Cue his talk with Lady Gotham, and subsequent idea to arm her knights. With what? Well, he figured knowledge would be a start. Flying high above the city invisibly, Danny noticed a sea of colors and lights by what appeared to be the city's pier. He flew down, noting that it appeared to be the setup spot for a travelling circus or carnival of some kind.

He considered what to do. One of Lady Gotham's troubles was a madman clown, right? Well maybe he'd be attracted to his ilk here... and with the danger came the knights. Maybe he could catch one of them here?

Danny was floating around at the entrance and beginning to formulate a plan when a flyer caught his eye. Looking for a mystic to read fortunes. URGENT!

Hadn't Clockwork said something about fortunes? And he hadn't made an identity in this universe yet...

A mischievous smile crept across Danny's face, splitting it in two with far too many teeth.

Half a city away, a man in all black, perched on the very same clocktower that Phantom had Appeared by, shivered as he felt an ominous premonition about his sanity in the near future...

Said man quickly opened his comms to check in with his many, many kids. Yet even after hearing back from each, he still felt apprehensive.

Somewhere even further, Clockwork laughed.

And that's how Danny found himself seated at a fortune teller's booth at a pier in Gotham, two days later, for the Tricksy Traveling Circus's grand opening.

    Rather than express disappointment, he'll simply nod as the song subsequently ended and another one began in it's place. This time around, though, it was Daichi Miura singing a song called 'Didn't Know', which was another one Kobato didn't recognize but one that he surmised came out fairly recently. "Yeah, that's hella valid. These days, it's hard to only pick a few, especially when there's a whole lotta artists to choose from," he idly points out while continually keeping his eyes on the road. Honestly, Kobato doesn't exactly blame her for not having any specific artists she particularly liked, because following his initial discharge from the hospital, it was as if he proceeded to lose interest in many things he once enjoyed.

    Still, when next Himari asked about his taste in music, he had to stop and think about it for a little bit with brows pensively furrowed.

    "'Anyone I gravitate towards', huh? If one thing is for sure, it's definitely not Virtuadolls, aside from maybe χ... and even then, I wouldn't say she's my fav," Kobato then states. Of course, by 'Virtuadolls', he was referring to those like Aria and µ, who are vocal synthesizer softwares originating from Japan that could obediently sing anything their users inputted. According to the wider populace, however, it was rumoured that a few years back, µ's songs had been responsible for causing people all over Japan to fall into comas, which at the time, was a phenomenon known as Astral Syndrome, and it only started up again months prior when Regret surfaced into being before people began regaining their consciousness again. What Kobato didn't mention, however, was that he actually survived having Astral Syndrome and χ was someone he personally spoke to in a false, utopian world built from Marie Amabuki's Micro-Mobius, because not only did he think he wouldn't be believed, he didn't exactly like talking about it either.

    "So I guess female idols like Kurahashi Momona? But rather than the music being their greatest selling point, what draws me to them instead is more their cuteness, which is why I would follow them on Gossiper... though, music-wise, I would listen to practically whatever songs another girl wants, meaning you're right 'bout me not being picky or having a genre I'm super attached to," Kobato goes on to add, only to briefly pause when he realizes he only really has her added on WIRE. "Oh, that reminds me, Himarin... do ya have a Gossiper account?"

It was too easy to sink into the music, letting it carry her away from the limo, from Kobato, from all of what surrounded her. Art in its many forms was where she found comfort, and rarely did she find herself picky about the genre. She had preferences, but the song mattered more than the artist themselves.

Still neck-deep in the music, she kept her eyes closed but gave her head a small shake. "Oh, I think I know who you're talking about. I don't think I'm a fan of anyone in particular. I like the song more than I like the person that sang it, but there might be a chance I've liked a lot of what one person's done if their style is consistent."

For a fleeting moment, she worried that her answer might be too blase. It was basic as basic could be, and it didn't give most people insight to her tastes. It felt as if she might have short-changed him and painted herself as boring, so she was quick to deflect.

"What about you? You've never really struck me as the kind that's picky, so I'm curious if you gravitate towards anyone in particular." Yet she wouldn't dare guess and risk offending him.

RULES Please understand this is a multipurpose blog. Not just a roleplay blog. I will post art (mostly my own unless stated otherwise), FF7 discussions and lore/theories, FF7 news and updates (anything Vincent Valentine related), and of course roleplay. Mun is not the muse. I think we should all understand this. Vincent can be an asshole, cold, and distant, but that doesn't mean that I am. I can be blunt, but I mean well and am quite friendly/open to everyone. I value communication very much, so I highly encourage it.

No god-modding or powerplay. Every character has a flaw or weakness. If you have a muse that is ultra powerful, be mindful to allow my character to react or have an option for escape. No one likes to be god-modded so let's keep it fun for both of us.

I am open to ship with pretty much any muse, fandom, OC, etc. HOWEVER-- understand that chemistry has to be established first. I will also do toxic ships. Unless your muse is Lucrecia, please do not assume or force a ship. The one main party FF7 character I refuse to ship with is Yuffie. I don't care if she's in the DoC timeline. I will multiship, and I don't mind shipping with multiples of the same character as they are all unique. However, the one character that I will exclusively single-ship with is Cloud. I have a close friend who plays Cloud and his Cloud is the only Cloud my Vincent will ship with. I apologize to anyone playing Cloud and wanting to ship with Vincent. I'm just not comfortable doing so and I'm happy with the current Cloud I have. That doesn't mean I won't roleplay with other Clouds, however. Dark themes will abound. Vincent is a very dark character with a disturbing past. Things that you can expect would be topics that include (either explicit or implicit) violence, blood, gore, death, human experimentation, genocide, rape/sexual assault, body/medical horror, suicide, emotional manipulation, trauma, torture, etc. I will do my best to add trigger tags but I am human and will sometimes forget. His body had stopped aging, and not being able to die, Vincent decided to entomb himself for the next 20+ years. When Vincent is discovered many years later by a group of people trying to save the planet, Vincent's demeanor had changed from that of a caring tender-hearted young man to one of callousness, darkness, and self-abasement. He joins the party for the sole purpose of meeting his arc nemesis, Hojo, to exact revenge. He also seeks to put an end to Sephiroth's existence who has been terrorizing the planet, feeling responsible for Sephiroth's cruelty. His ultimate goal is to find redemption for his past sins.

HOW I PORTRAY VINCENT VALENTINE I will default to Rebirth Vincent. However, I will also roleplay OG, AC, BC, and DoC's versions of Vincent upon request. I will also roleplay Turk Vincent or Chaos with Vincent personification.

I like to portray Vincent with as much canonicity as possible, this includes his personality, backstory, etc. In places where there are gaps, I will interject my own interpretations accordingly. These will be in the form of headcanons which I will provide later on. Vincent does not have any children. He is not Sephiroth's father. If you have an OC who is portrayed as Vincent's child, or you play Sephiroth, please do not assume that my Vincent will adopt or treat your muse as their offspring. The way I play Vincent is that he has never had sex with Lucrecia. I am open to playing with the idea of Vincent having kids of his own, but that must first be developed through roleplay. As for Sephiroth, again, I do not subscribe to the Vincent-dad fan-theory. However, if you play Sephiroth as a child, I'm open to the idea of Vincent adopting Sephiroth in an AU scenerio. But in no-wise will Vincent see Sephiroth as his biological son. Vincent has the Protomateria in his chest, and he is not conscious of Chaos' true power (yet). This will be my default version of Vincent, unless our RP causes him to become aware of Chaos and transforms, or if we are roleplaying in the DoC verse. Do not assume that he knows he has Chaos yet. He is aware of his three other beasts-- Galian, Hellmasker, and Death Gigas.

The only character Vincent will have an automatic romantic connection with is Lucrecia. Please do not assume he will have any romantic feelings for your muse until chemistry is created FIRST. If your muse is flirty, do not expect Vincent to flirt back. He is disconnected with his emotions. The most you'll get the first few rounds is either a cold shoulder or he'll have signs that he's shy or nervous. He's a very hard shell to crack if you want him to connect with your muse naturally and in a romantic way. It's not impossible, but expect to put in some effort. I'm more for the slow-burns, anyways. Whatever you do, please don't jump his bone and expect him to be immediately horny. I play Vincent as bisexual-demisexual. If he doesn't trust your muse, he will not have any desire to pursue your muse emotionally. I may like our muses together and want them to ship, but the chemistry must first develop. Vincent is a switch/seke. Depending on your muse and Vincent's level of sexual attraction towards your muse, he will either become more dominant or more submissive. Underneath all his garb, Vincent has a monster arm under his gauntlet, a very faint scar under his Chaos-eye, and an equally faint scar on his sternum. He may have the face and body of a handsome young man, but Vincent has a warped image of himself and therefore will be dismissive if someone says he's attractive. He has a number tattooed on his forehead, given by Hojo, which he has attempted to burn and tear off with no success. Thus he keeps his headband on as much as possible. Vincent is capable of warping into his cloak in order to escape an attack, but can only do so in short distances and in short spurts.

During certain fights and situations, Vincent may use a scythe.

Vincent is naturally good with children and enjoys both cats and dogs. Cats and children in particular are naturally drawn to him. His only fear is harming the ones he cares about. By way of connection, he is therefore also afraid of losing control over his demons. If Vincent loses his Protomateria, he will have little to no control over his demons (Chaos in particular). If Chaos takes control over him, Vincent will likely have no recollection of what happened. Since Vincent is immortal, Vincent does not have a need for sustenance. His body is constantly regenerating itself, and therefore cannot get sick, degrade, hunger, thirst, etc. He can fatigue, and will experience extreme exhaustion whenever he uses Chaos, often leading him to faint or become debilitatingly weak.

Vincent has a high tolerance for chemicals, pain, drugs, alcohol, etc. However, they can all still affect him. The only thing he is immune to is anything created by tainted Lifestream aka Nero's abyss, and he is also immune to Geostigma. (More to come later)

Well, my smut fairy is playing hide and seek. Has been more hidden as of late. Inspiration has led to different fics than I planned on. And I’ve queued so many posts that my current queue is posting things up until June 5th. 😂

I’m not 100% sure yet how I’ll run this. Chances are I might invite others in on this? Maybe? If I figure out how to do shared accounts it could be fun

This account might get a bit gritty at times, since it’ll be focusing on things like evil teams and corruption, so be warned. I’ll make sure to tag things as they come up though.

The muses are all adults, ranging from mid-late 20’s to early 30’s.

Hybrids, eebies, sentient pokemon, superheroes and protagonists are all fine to interact. I tend to run on multiverse rotomblr, while being flexible with where my characters stand in there depending on what works best. If our headcanons clash too much we can easily explain it away with multiverse, so yeah.

I’ll be trying to write queued articles, making references to plot points in the games or maybe recent events related to characters on here if that’s ok by you all :)

Do you enjoy your interactions with the rp community? Generally speaking, yes, sometimes no, but being more selective and curating of my own space makes it something I love (on most days)

Have you made any friends since creating your blog? Yes! You included, I have made a few friends along the way (and hope to make more when life fucking slows down).

Have you ever done something embarrassing or made any mistakes that you can’t forget about? Hmmm, not a lot I don't think? Here or there stupid grammar mistakes or punctuation issues haunt me though after even reading a reply three or four times before posting it lol.

Are there any ships for your muse that you enjoy, or ships that you would like to see happen? I mean I love all his ships, I think having more angsty ships or ships with more 'evil' characters could be super fun.

What is something or someone you have always wanted to write with? i.e. a particular plot, a character, etc. Some more obscure characters, such as Maleficent (which I do have someone I'm starting to plot with when life doesn't get in the way lol), any studio ghibli muses could be super wholesome and fun. That's about it because some characters I'm learning are cursed that I shall never write with after bad experiences.

What are your biggest pet peeves when it comes to tumblr? The DMs are so broken for me personally for like two months they suck!! Some of the stigma behind 'oh I can't approach this person cause graphics and intimidation' can get a little exhausting but I know it can't be helped. Just the little things.

Is there anything you dislike about your muse? I don't think so? Maybe his aggression or that he suppresses some things until he explodes which clearly isn't healthy. (ooc is lack of content but hopefully more comes soon even though the creators for him are literally gone)

Do you have any insecurities about writing and/or interacting with other people? Sometimes I do get a little worried that my writing isn't good enough, like if I'm having an off day and things just don't flow quite right but I still post it anyways. Or if I feel like I don't send enough/too many memes, things like that.

What is your favourite thing about your muse? What he means to me, he's an incredibly personal creation of mine and I know this might be more abstract than the question calls for. But he is loved on many different levels for me and the fact I can try to bring awareness to not only veterans sacrifices and suffering, but also chronic pain and other little things, I'm glad to try and do that through a fleshed out character who I love.

Is there anyone who inspires you or that you look up to? I have some people here who inspire me, you being one of them and a couple other folks. Some writers inspire me and always have to write, like Adrienne Young, Brandon Mull, Grady Hendrix. I love their writing and their stories and it pushes me to try and improve my writing at any turn I can.

What time of day are you more inclined to write? During the week typically evening time is when I can sit down and get written out drafts typed and queued, but sometimes in the afternoon is when I find I get inspired, handwrite a few replies, and then type them up later. Usually on weekends it can vary from morning to afternoon, evenings are generally for other things.

What are some similarities between you and your muse? His love of handmade things. The fact Tegan quilts, I quilt myself and am amassing a collection of them. Melanie knits and crochets, which I also do, and that's where Logan gets his nice wooly socks from, scarves, and some homemade decor (specifically for fall). Otherwise I guess our other similarity is living with and learning to deal with chronic pain.

What are some differences between you and your muse? I am not a soldier or military member in any way, but a few of my family members are. So I learn from them how to portray him (learn meaning observing cause no way am I asking) and other shows how to portray his issues correctly and without diminishing it's importance or overembellishing it.

Do you have any pets? I do! An elderly, very round, cat we inherited from my husband's mom and recently passed father in law. Her name is kitty cause...she never really had a name. She currently has a bed on my desk so she's sitting right next to my laptop now purring away and I love her even when she gets grumpy and annoying lol.

Are there any pets you wish you could have? I would like to have a dog again given my last one passed away about two years ago now, I'm contemplating getting a memorial tattoo for her soon, but she will always be my first baby.

What are some of your favourite hobbies? Aside from the obvious that I talk about here all the time, I really do love reading though I'm currently in a bit of a slump because said hobbies take up the remainder of my down time right now. Otherwise I do like gaming, rebuilding my animal crossing island and trying to get it to five stars and dream addressed is my current goal after having the game since launch and never getting an island complete lol.

What is your current big obsession? Crocheting the cutest little ghostie plushies, I'm making three for my coworkers, one for mom, and I made the first one for me just to make sure I understood the pattern correctly. I'm also making Mickey pumpkin plushies too, one for me, one for mom, and two for my coworkers and I need to get the big puffy bows sewn together soon. I'm done with two so far.

Have you ever met an rp partner in real life? Would you like to? I have no met an rp partner in reality but I would love to! Would ideally be someone I consider a friend and am very close with, though.

prudence (prue) halliwell-cooper. 28 year old surgeon intern, specializing in cardiothoracic surgery. oldest of three sisters comes from a very big family (her mom had 3 sisters and they all had multiple kids). they get loud and being one of the oldest she had always felt like she was hearding cattle in the form of toddlers for every family meetup.

even though she's close to her sister parker and paula, she closest to the youngest and has a somewhat tense relationship with parker, who is a police officer.

she's very determined to be The Best and is cranky (most) of the time but can also be hillarious (and sarcastic). she takes her coffee black with no sugar--lattes are not for her--, absolutely loathes cinammon (she's also low key allergic but frames it as hating the smell) and attempt that no one knows her weaknesses (her sisters, fear of failure, fear of ending up alone).

she is straight against her better judgement and had a 2 year relationship with a guy called josh who sadly passed away in a car crash (it was the other guy's fault). he also has a complicated relationship with josh's best friend Ted Lupin (see the previous muse update post).
