Tell me everything the librarians please :] I wanna know what a normal day looks like for them

Ms. Stevie (last name unknown) and James Ortiz were roommates when they worked at the library together. They'd get up around the same time but James often worked a little later than Stevie for personal reasons.

Once at the library, the fun began. Ordering things, sending notices for due books (though they were a no late fee library of course), and generally sorting things out.

There were more workers than them, one of whom was a "boy" named Harv. He and Stevie worked in the kid's section, where the puppets were kept. Harv would arrive early to make sure the puppets were ready for the day, then Stevie would do a check-in, and then they'd open. The kid's area was always the most sought part of the library, it got messy fast, and James would clean up. Otherwise, it was a chill job where everyone knew everyone.

Some clubs would come in after school, or during school for the older peeps who liked the place. Book clubs, computer clubs, even one kid's drama club liked to practice with the puppets.

As the days winded down, the puppets would get one last check-in and then the lights would go out, hence where the comic started, though a little lessened for my own sake since the adventure is more the point of it :)

i’ll also answer the one u sent to my side blog too! :3

so there’s a couple of ways i do this

1. those character questions thing? i’ll just straight up do them all in a row (or as many as i feel like/are pertinent) for the character in question. an example here LMAO

2. i ruminate on the character, like a lot. i’ll just kind of sit and chill with them in my head for lord knows how long. this isn’t always in one sitting this can also be for literal years. for example, the entire cast of tcol i’ve had since i was 12 & i’ve had the cast of other wips like jenna the reaper/lukewarm rejection/etc since i was like 15? so i know them pretty well by now (though as i’ve aged my ideas and understanding of them has matured)

3. i get smacked with every bit of information about them like i’m being possessed. i think everyone has ocs like this but the ones that show up with an entire “yep here’s my life story” all in one go. that actually happens to me Quite Frequently lolol

4. i talk to my partner about them. or friends, but i don’t tend to do that too much;;; my partner tho always tends to help me flesh characters out just by asking about them and being excited with me
