Captain Marvel had to end with a few pints of beer!! Almost midnight on a weekday we gulped down the beer and some starters at @agentjacksbar in Phoneix marketcity. I just loved the veg corn kebabs...they seemed to be freshly prepared to perfection...just so tasty. We also ordered a fish starter and egg noodles with it and ofcourse some beer. You end up at the traditionally famous places when hubby craves for amazing non veg. There we ended at George Restaurant over the weekend to satisfy his tastebuds. Since I was full already and the place is famous for non veg so I didn't order anything. He quickly ordered a chicken Biryani and tandoori chicken with fresh lime soda. The place was quite densely occupied with ground floor full and first floor almost occupied. Fortunately we got a place without any waiting. The place very well projects that it has been there for quite some time and the crowd surely confirmed it was going to be there for very long. The food took a long time to arrive cause again it was very crowded. But the food did not take much time to finish. But my husband didn't quite appreciate the tandoori chicken, he felt something missing in it. But he loved the biryani.. Sometimes some places just make you happy with their vibe...so was the case with my experience today @thebarstockexchangeofficial Viman Nagar. We ordered chili garlic peanuts, amritsari kulcha platter and grilled chicken with a couple of drinks. Gopal our server was really polite and assisted us in choosing our dishes. He had a pleasant smile on his face throughout. The manager Harsh too was inquiring intermittently if we are comfortable with the experience or not. The food came in a nominal time and was great. I would not say it was anything out of the world but it was great. The hospitality is worth a mention and I loved it. Last night was so much fun after really long... Like haven't eaten out for quite a while now so yesterday was a savior!! We had decided to go to the @goodnewsdhaba at @creaticityofficial . We planned to go a bit early as we had 2 kiddos in the group so we wanted to wind up early. The place is really nice with both indoor and outdoor seating options. We decided to sit indoors as Pune is getting hotter day by day. Plenty of items were ordered and I couldn't really click all of it but some of it atleast I managed to. The staff was really polite and accomodating. We ordered a Heineken pitcher, sangria, baileys, apple juice on repeat. There was this amazing papad which looked like a triangular dosa and tasted great with drinks.. we also ordered chana chat, masala papads both roasted and fried, dahi k kebab, paneer k Sholay, chicken starters etc. I loved paneer k sholay, such soft paneer wrapped in a bread and cut like sprint roles... Tasted delicious and the chana chat was awesome.. the rest of the dishes too were great.. In main course we ordered the chicken Rogan Josh and breads and a veg sabz biryani and again kudos on the taste and portion. Extremely impressed with the food, ambience and staff and esp. portions. Also the self chutney making was very interesting (they give you ingredients and you can make chutney on spot yourself if you want) and also they chop fresh onion at your table(a counter does it live next to your table) to ensure that you are getting fresh onions!! So we ended up at @cafe1730kharadi . We ordered a kingfisher, Bailey's and nachos supreme. The drinks came pretty soon and were chilled enough. Nachos came in after quite some time and I cannot trust these nachos here. To me they were not supreme in any form. As usual they tasted like papdis with very lil cheese sauce as if they were running out of cheese. The taste was just average. We had also ordered by mistake a courage cheese steak instead of a chicken steak which they couldn't cancel and it came in another 20 mins. It was still better in taste but nothing exceptional. Then we ordered a chicken steak and it took them more than half an hour to get it and that tasted average and the portion is less compared to few more restaurants around here in Kharadi. I was so excited to do that when I visited this place right before we left Delhi, after Diwali!! As they say better late than never, so here it is. After a quick shopping session at the Ambiance mall Gurgaon, my sis suggested that we try this one out. She had visited this earlier as well. I am always in to try a new place and obviously wanted to try something beyond sector 29 Gurgaon ;) We went here after lunch so some little snacking was on our mind. Loved the interiors of this place which was moderately crowded given the time we visited it. We settled with some beer, an Alfredo pasts, a Swiss kiss shake and a lamb combo. The order arrived in little time and I was flabbergasted with the beautiful looking shake. Trust me, the last I had such an experience was in Phuket and this one just made the picture come alive from the menu. Had I not been in love with milk chocolates, I could have kept looking at this for long. Thankfully I didn't and relished it quickly. I felt they can reduce whipped cream and add some more vanilla to it. You should try out their other shakes too which were equally tempting !! The Alfredo pasta was usual and they could may be add some veggies to it so it looks more tempting and tastes better. The non veg dish quantity again was very restricted and suggestion would be to improve in serving portion given the price charged. If you are one of those who are charmed by the Rajwada culture and the royal heritage, then this should be on your go-to list. We went here a day before Diwali as it has been on my list for quite some time now. It's located pretty much in the centre of 29 market but you may miss it as they don't have any flashy outdoor like many other places there. Your miss is your loss btw. So you enter and you are welcomed by a tall strong guard and a beautiful vintage red car which has been sourced and kept here. It's a huge huge restaurant and has multiple seating options for private and general dinners. All of them are fabulously themed in sync with royal Rajasthani interiors. At one side is the magnanimous bar and the other side has a display of antique stuff. Ok I should cut the elaboration here as I can write a lot about there interiors. So it was a veg dinner on our mind and we ordered a manchow soup, some beer which came with masala papad and peanuts(not chargeable I think and it's now rare) and a matar tikki and paneer tikka starter. The matar tikki had a great blend of peas and ginger and tasted amazing & the paneer was melting in the mouth, sooo fresh. The manchow soup was one of the best I have had in quite some time. We then placed the main course order & ordered a gatta curry, paneer in tomato gravy and tandoori roti, garlic naan, lachcha paratha etc. The gatta curry needs a special mention, it was just fab, perfectly cooked gatta which was not hard and not very soft and the taste was a blast of flavours in the mouth. I have been to its Noida branch earlier and my experience was okay but since my husband insisted we try this one out, I agreed to it. I hate to say it but sometimes this guy takes the right decision ;) . It was a beauty from inside too. It has been long since I saw such warm interiors and plus it has an outdoor siting too. Simply beautiful and the staff courtesy was top notch. We ordered a famous dal makhanwala combo and a juicy Lucy lamb burger and an Antioxidant to drink. They started by serving some crunchy sticks with butter and we hogged them too as we were quite hungry. Then they brought in the juicy Lucy burger with fries and the best thing about it was that they kept the fries separately so that vegetarians can relish it too without issues. The burger was not just delicious and lip smacking but also very beautiful looking just like you see in one of those burger ads on TV. The portion was by far the biggest we have had in Pune. Then arrived the dal makhanwala combo and again the portion was huge..I was done very quickly and honestly was too full to finish it. We made a mistake by ordering the antioxidant shake cz that was the last thing we ordered and by the time it came , both of us were just too full. But still went ahead to have it, ofcourse cause who would wanna waste food n money ;) . This was the first ever brewery I visited some years ago so a lil biased for the sake of old times too :) I had gone there to meet one of my closest friend so I could not think of anything better than this to sit and chill. The place is always amazing with Great crowd and good music along with some really courteous staff. We ordered a Delhi Summer and Khatta Frappe. The Delhi Summer mocktail was quite nice with its peculiar bell pepper flavour and we even managed to repeat that drink.The khatta was ok. We kept it simple and ordered paneer tikka 2 way and Asian crispy mushrooms. The tikka was good but I liked how it was served with those nice Criss cross tubes with red and green sauce.. presentation was quite refreshing. The crispy mushrooms were good, just that don't make them too crispy as they lose the mushroom flavour and just become some sort of pakoras. Has a beautiful roof top with live music and serene decor. The first floor has pretty loud music best for party hoppers. A nice bar placed right opposite to the floor looks perfect. The food in general was great. Ordered a nachos pizza which is basically loaded cheese nachos assembled like a pizza but tasted really amazing, cheese garlic breads which were crisp and perfectly topped with cheese that tasted delicious. The show stealer was their Jodhpuri paratha with dal, will light up your taste buds like never before. The chicken and beer+ Bailey's were great too. All in all you should and must try it out if not for anything else then for the Jodhpur parathas. Since it's one of our frequently visited places in pune so after a hefty shopping day we thought to chill at Chili's DLF Noida. It's a beautiful outlet as expected. Huge and cosy interiors. Moderately crowded which is expected as it was around evening. We ordered a blue berry yoghurt smoothie, classic nachos, spicy smoked pasta, veg soup with mushrooms and veg tacos!! Don't really remember the exact name of the tacos but I guess there was just one veg option. The yoghurt smoothie was ammmmaaazing and a must try..so refreshing. The spicy smoked pasta with pesto was different than the Pune one... But again this was even better. I loved how the nachos were presented and really tasty as well. By the time we reached tacos we were already quite full... There was a hair strand in tacos and the team apologized and replaced it, the dish was great too but I was too full to eat it much..
