And this is not me dragging the show. I really like the show. Sadly, I even agree that it handles this subject better than most. Which in many ways actually makes me MORE disappointed and depressed, about the fact that 40-odd years ago the OT (which I also like, but lbr the political commentary is not much deeper than a puddle) gave us Leia lying through her teeth with her planet on the line and Han sweating and stumbling and saying “they didn’t even ask me any questions,” and yet today - on a show that is unapologetically on the side of a kid throwing a pipe bomb at the colonial cops - it’s too radical apparently to suggest that torture is really incredibly shit at eliciting useful intelligence, and people on the internet will give you a gold star for doing the bare fucking minimum because sadly it’s still better than what 99% of other narratives manage

just joined the bg3 gang and i'm having a BLAST, I spent 3 hours in the customisation menu.

BUT. I am disappointed in Larian that 7 hours in and Hot, Horned & Red Demon Lady With Big Biceps and Thicc Thighs has in fact not been introduced yet :((

(the hardest part of bg3 so far is trying not to spoil myself by reading up Karlach's story on the wiki and yes i am super superficial for starting bg3 because of her but she just looked so cool and i want her to impale me with her horn-)
