( . . . ) this is the story of 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐍, a loner with a heavy australian accent who suffers from sleep paralysis every single night after reading evil spirits out of a horror novel so he prefers to stay awake as long as possible, living his life out of a coffee mug in the middle of nowhere brisbane.

A librarian more used to reading stories than living in them, Nathan would be an unlikely candidate for hero in any book. But even discounting the power of his voice, Nathan is a formidable foe. Though he might not have many combat skills, Nate is more than willing to learn, and he refuses to be cowed by the dangers he's fallen into. Also called “ Silvertongue ” because of his ability to make characters come alive by reading them out of books - to "paint pictures in the air with his voice" - although he has been wary of this gift.

PSA: All Blogs On Semi-Hiatus From Dec. 16th-Jan. 6th

OOC: Hello, everyone! It's that time of year again XD

For those who don't know, I work as a church organist and this means that I'm usually quite busy around December preparing for the Christmas church services IRL. This also means that I'm usually at very low activity, with a higher chance of delayed replies and even a couple of days in a row where there are no replies at all.

However, this year is a little different and will probably extend the delays a bit longer than usual. One of my family members is getting a medical procedure done in December and I'll need to help them out during the holidays while they recover. It's nothing super serious at all to their health, they're fine, but recovery from stuff like this takes a while.

Expect all replies to be queued, and for even some days during the time of December 16th-January 6th 2025 to be completely quiet from me.

Got some HC for the Child!Guilliman au (some about Guilliman some about the other Primarchs in this au if you have your own feel free to make your own list would love to see them)

Guilliman is a selective mute due to the incident that took Konor and later Tarasha Euten.

For this au, he is found last rather than Alpharius/Omegon being the one who was found last by Big E.

In this, everyone knows that Omegon exists and just rolls with it.

Sanguinius has taken Guilliman on flights around Terra a few times when he visits.

He is prone to nightmares and has woken up a few times screaming for his adoptive father Konor and his mother figure Tarasha.

When this happened it woke everyone up.

Due to this Malacador and the Emperor make it to where Guilliman is to do exhausting activities before bed. (ie running around playing,) this has worked for the most part.

Sanguinius, Vulkan, Dorn, Magnus, Horus, and Crovus are Guillimans favorite brothers. (he does love his other brothers but these six are his favorite)

Fulgrim often picks out Guillimans outfits to wear.

Guilliman once fell asleep next to the fireplace with Freki and Geri.

Leman's nickname for Roboute is little pup.

The other primarchs like Leman have nicknames for Guilliman. Like Corvus calling him baby bird, Sanguinius calling him little angel, etc.

Dorn and Perturabo get along in this au and both worked on the palace together.

Big E is a good father if a bit flawed like a trying his best sort of deal.

Lorgar often reads to Roboute and if he isn't able to do it then Magnus will.

((I've been feeling off lately. Like...really empty.

I'm kinda considering hopping to a different blog for a bit to give Shy a break, but I honestly don't want to do that. I just feel bad that I can't muster my usual enthusiasm or be there the way I wish I could be. I keep missing out on people's big plots and not being able to catch up...and if I'm being honest, I feel like I've kind of written myself into a corner. I'm so so grateful for the relationships I've forged and friends I've made!! I love all of them!! But I also feel like I've ended up settled into a role instead of letting her be a person. I'd love to be able to have her process things and realize that she's able to express her feelings and just kinda. Let her be a person instead of just being a caretaker, you know? I love the relationships with the people she cares for and has taken under her wing, but I also do want to have characterization.

I know it was in character and not meant as a dig at all, but admittedly that one anon kind of got to me last week. I feel guilty for wanting her to be separate from the motherly role, but just because she's a mom doesn't mean she has no autonomy or a life of her own. Shy's a person and I'm wondering if space will make this better or worse. None of you are at fault and I love you all so so much, I'm just going through it right now.))
