i'm glad to know i'm not insane because šŖšŖ doom at your service ricky has taken over my mind
but i also thought for a bit about the other zb1 members and which kdrama male lead they'd be and i already have a few of them!!
so first of all the lil cutie park gunwook. HE IS LITERALLY THE LOVE CHILD OF HAN SEOJUN AND LEE SUHO don't tell me i'm wrong because i am RIGHT. he looks super intimidating and acts so confident just like han seojun but soon enough we find out both of them are just cute boys that deserve all the love in the worldšš and like suho, gunwook is academically smart and comes off as intimidating but he's just a lil awkward that's all.
the second candidate is kim taerae as this bro from while you were sleeping i forgot his name. BUT i just thought of it while on the toilet and everybody knows toilet thoughts are superior. like both of them are super attractive but they're also kind of losers (affectionate š«¶). idk but taerae just fits his vibe SO MUCH i swear!! i can see him doing whatever the male lead did in the show. the awkward things AND the brave/badass things š½
and then we have your bias as kang chul from w two worlds. they're both the main characters from their shows and. idk. hanbin just fits the vibe toooooo much. he would be SO cool as an agent or whatever tf kang chul was but yeah millionaire hanbin, rlly smexyš¤§ he cared so much for his friends and family, it's just. ugh. perfect.
and lastly, the last member is jiwoong but it's probably not as accurate. kang taemoo. IKIK ricky "young and rich tall and handsome" and all that blah blah but jiwoong just fits so much as well???? i can literally see him go "you know what my credit card and my love for you have in common? they both have no limit" and then send a wink your way. taemoo was flirty but unintentionally, jiwoong would do it intentionally šŖ also we know that taemoo was for the boys and the girls (he and his manager......... š¤Ø) and we know what jiwoong was doing before lol.
yeah that was all i could think of. i kind of think hao could be lee suho while gunwook would be han seojun but yeah gunwook fits the both of them ate the same time a lil too much. i haven't watched enough kdramas to assign all members a male lead sadlyā¹ļø
-anon_x2
ok im sorry that im answering this just now omg i read it yesterday but tbh i was so tired my brain couldn't speak english correctly....... and i wanted to give you a proper answer cUZ I LOVE YOUR MESSAGE
you're sooo right about gunwook and if i had to choose which one of suho or seojun i'll give him, i think i'd go with seojun bcz of his personality. ++ the way seojun respected jookyung regardless of whether or not she loved him back, and never left her side </3 this is a very gunwook thing me thinks
next omg WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING IS MY FAVORITE KDRAMA </3 i can totally picture him in jung jaechan cuz you said it yourself... :
AND HE IS ONE. A LOSER WHO ALWAYS ENDS UP WINNING BUT STILL.
i could've seen gyuvin in this as well BUT THEN. idk if you've seen weightlifting fairy kim bokjoo BUT HEAR ME OUT GYUVIN IN THE ROLE OF NAM JOOHYUK IN THIS ONE. IT'S SCREAMING GYUVIN THE MAN IS ALWAYS CAUSING TROUBLE AND JOKING AROUND BUTā¼ļøā¼ļøā¼ļø HE'S SO MUCH MORE THAN THATā¼ļøā¼ļøā¼ļø bonus point : he is tall
now i have to correct you SUNG HANBIN IS NOT MY BIAS š¹š¹š¹š¹ EVERYONE IS SAYING THE CONTRARY BUT MY BIAS IS GUNWOOK š¹š¹š¹š¹š¹š¹ i've never finished W cuz the female lead was pissing me off but i can definitly see hanbin playing kang cheol āš¼ however . i have another proposition . idk if you've seen the korean movie 20th century girl (if you didnt, i recommand you to!! it's not long since it's a movie and i personally loved it) but hanbin is giving pong woonho
i haven't seen business proposal yet so idk the character you're talking abt for jiwoong </3 but with what you're telling me abt him, it seems quite correct and jiwoong is an actor anyways he better adapt to my anonĀ² thoughts š¹
as for hao i could say baek inho from cheese in the trap???? or maybe i'm just saying this cuz he plays music and im in love with both of them

you donāt have to read all of this! itās LONG but i just like sending asks to you bc youāre so cool and i like seeing your take on things djdjdhd š„ŗššš iām just rambling, you donāt have to read it! also some of this is -not that specific- spoilers for cheese in the trap fjfjkg i couldnāt finish reading it ššš thanks for listening to me i mean it ā ļøā¤ļø
šok so,,, i often have really bad cases of second male lead syndrome because they tend to be nicer and more genuine in say. manhwas and just romance stories in general :ā))) for example, baek inho from cheese in the trap, he was flawed, brash, had anger issues, came from an abusive household along with his sibling, had to work a lot of jobs to get by, he thought he didnāt deserve to be with main character because he saw himself as a bad person when he really wasnāt! he was always trying so hard!!! at least thatās how i saw it šhe worried a lot about mc. he stood by and protected her multiple times, he threw hands at her stalker more than once and gave her a self defense kit when he wasnāt there because they couldnāt call the police without enough evidence yet- they were friends and he never tried to interfere when she got in a relationship with ml, because he thought ml would care about her. he was also so emotional bc he truly had gone through a lot, i couldnāt help but root for him. šhe wonāt back to therapy to get back to using his hand and playing his instrument. i think, he was working hard on bettering himself and getting back on his feet!! but with male leads, i canāt really get attached that often? this male lead, i couldnāt get used to him because he was cold and calculating (like a lot of male leads, successful, handsome, rich and kind at least at first glance etc etc) and he turned out to be manipulative and did a lot of bad things that he doesnt tell to mc, for example, the stalker mc had after her was thanks to the male lead who initially hated her because she saw through his facade (the same way he hates inho too because of something similar) and at least in the drama he doesnāt actually change his behavior. he even says they should forget about it?? and move on?
also like a lot of male leads he was very possessive and got angry when mc became friends with baek inho and he put an *ugly* ugly face and went as far as telling her not to be close to him etc (in contrast inho just told mc to be careful around ml because heās not what he seems, i couldnāt read that far but iām sure that his injury was somehow caused by ml), also i noticed that a lot of romances have that [they hate each other but fall in love] kind of plot which is ok if itās handled well (sometimes it becomes toxic tbhh) and itās very common nowadays and the male leads are always SO rude?? and if not rude, theyāre cold but then itās seen as romantic when they are possessive or something. but this ml was def on another level because at one point he even talked in a threatening way to mc (you can see this more clearly in the korean dialogue)before he liked her (he began liking her after he thought they were both the same) and she even took break from school for a year because of him š®āšØi couldnāt really finish the manhwa and i still feel bad, but the ml just made me uncomfortable and i couldnāt see inho baek in pain š
i wonder why second male leads sometimes are more logical and people root for them!! well at least in the cheese in the trap fandom, after the drama there was so much support for baek inho, thereās even multiple articles ab itā°ļøš is it that theyāre not possessive and even if it hurts they want to see the person they love happy even if itās not with them? or maybe they are more friendly and open or sentimental? also theyāre often moreā¦ raw? um, often flawed and def not perfect but not in the toxic and kinda terrifying way that some male leads tend to be? (and sometimes their behavior gets romanticized too which is another problem) why do the sml have to end up being sweethearts! kyo from fruits basket is a very good male lead, he gives me those vibes because heās got so much shit thrown at him. he gets discriminated, is looked down upon, is cursed, is violent but is truly justā¦ a child you know? and well, i always really liked the best friends to lovers trope more than the enemies to lovers for some reason š§it happened in the drama start up too i ended up rooting for the second male lead with my friend šthey were so disappointed when he lost so much in the end. so unfair tbh. perhaps itās wanting to see someone who thinks theyāre unworthy of love be loved? or finally be chosen when theyāre used to being hurt or left behind etc etc. is it that we empathize with them because theyāre more flawed? maybe we relate ahahahaā maybe thatās why we root so much for yeonggi ššš he kind of gave me *the* vibes too even when i know heās a protagonist :((( and even tho ily stopped being specifically focused in romance some time ago
and heās got the characteristics šš he cares deeply about shinae and his friends, yet he doesnāt want her to get hurt so he takes care of her from far away, he distances himself because heās in denial of his feelings and thinks heās not worth the effort and he doesnāt deserve her affection or anyoneās friendship, self sabotages, is abused by the hirahara family, has a backstory of possibly having been violent during his childhood, has a punching bag at home and has recently been sentenced to prison??? low self esteem and trauma? losing his mother? asking and crying as we speak bestie š</3 heās so respectful towards shinae, hell, standing up for her and throwing hands?? and ahhh consent!!! consent is so important heās just. idk. he tries so hard. heās such a good main character he surpassed my expectations of a main character a thousand times over ahh! heās not a second male lead and yet heās so good- he is by far one of the most complex characters iāve ever met, and he just feels familiar and genuine :( i just hope our boy will be happy and healthy in the end- iām begging because he deserves everything good!!!
Anon pls, you perfectly summed it up!!!
Yeong-gi very much gives "misunderstood, 'bad', rival love interest with a heart of gold" vibes. In fact! I think that may have been what was going on with the love triangle we presumed or were primed to think of at first!
I guess people viewed Kousuke similarly to usual main love interests ā cold, mean, but secretly sweet once there's development (hopefully, bc as you've mentioned, there've been so many erk iterations). It's interesting thinking of it like that because it seemed so obvious to me that Yeong-gi was the best boy? I rmr watching AkiDearest's video on it wayy back and she said the same thing lmao.
I get where early YooTip stans were coming from though. I'm currently reading Pride and Prejudice which features Mr. Darcy (mayhaps one of the original cold male love interests), and it's too early for me to say, but I'm pretty sure he's legit (ppl rlly love P&P after all).
As for Cheese in the Trap, although I haven't read or watched it, I totally understand where you're coming from and what you mean. I actually recently watched the majority of a K-Drama on Netflix called "Boys Over Flowers" (2009). I later learned it was actually a huge deal when it came out.
(Incoming tangent...)
And OH MY GOD I was lured in by that older drama style (and their hairstyles lmao) and that's exactly what you get! IT HAS ALL THE TROPES. ALL OF THEM. (the love triangle, the actually legally bad ml, flagrant overuse of SA as a plot device, etc.)
It features the "F4", an elitist group of 4 teenagers at an elitist rich kid school. And the show opens on a kid getting a "red card" in his locker from them, which results in him being tormented relentlessly by the school and by the end of the first five mins he literally attempts to take his own life by jumping off a school building.
Kang Jan-di, the main character, happens to save him, makes a bunch of headlines, and she's awarded free entry into the school despite being broke.
The F4, end up being main characters of the show obviously, and two of them, Yoon Ji-hoo (right) and Gu Jun-pyo (centre) are the main love interests.
Ji-hoo is a violinist (he's sweet) and he, like the other two F4 members, is just a bystander to the real head of F4 who insists on making kids' lives hell, Jun-pyo.
At first Ji-hoo seems to be the leading interest, then Jun-pyo starts getting hyped. And it's weird because all of a sudden Jan-di has to choose between them and the romance with Ji-hoo is explained away as, "idk, ig they're not rlly feeling it rn" (he also had a unrequited crush a while back on his adopted family member who is described to be his "first love, girlfriend and mother" pls š)
So Jun-pyo ends up being the main love interest for the majority of the series. Even though he cards Jan-di at the beginning and it incites other kids to try and assault her. Ji-hoo is so sweet and unproblematic in contrast TT (he's also autistic, but the way they mention it is possibly problematic too depending on their thought process šš)
Something happens, and Jun-pyo has to break up with the MC, and I didn't end up finishing it so I'm not sure whether they get back together.
But for episodes, you watch them get closer and enter a relationship and you're stuck wondering, "Do they not remember how he almost led a kid to die? Or an attempted assault on Jan-di?" Yeah he didn't do it directly, but HE CAUSED it. He KNOWS what happens when he cards people.
It's addressed a little later, but the brother of the kid who almost died ends up trying to get back at Jun-pyo, but he does so by threatening Jan-di's life???? Like he wouldn't be grateful to the person who saved him??? The writing screams, "oh this guy's actually evil, he wants to hurt good people, and that's why he's not justified so don't think too hard about Jun-pyo's past actions please and thank you."
Pls ššš
Also the way they do things for plot convenience
- Jan-di is a swimmer, but apparently she's worse at it then the boys so when they have a competition it's really close because she's slow... or one time she's swimming but there's rocks at the bottom so she starts to drown? because she can't stand up straight? and she needs to be saved by the boys
- She's in the middle of Europe and about to get violently mugged but then the boys show up??? Like somehow they knew exactly where she was in Europe and show up exactly where she is exactly when she needs them?? DO THEY HAVE HER CHIPPED????
I don't hate the show... It's old lmao and I knew what I was getting into... but damn some of these writing choices šIt's fun ig lmao
(Tangent over...)
It's been a while, but the anime, "Say I Love You" also had a similar dynamic for a while if I remember correctly (albeit not as egregious, I don't think the mc was too bad). There's also "Orange" which has a sweet secondary love interest. The ml is definitely more developed... but it's still kinda very rough knowing what the sl sacrifices. (The ending was open-ended I personally thought she'd get with the sl, but I rechecked while writing this and apparently I missed an epilogue special, where it's confirmed she gets with the ml).
(The black hair, Kakeru, is the ml. The orange, Suwa, is the sl. And the girl in the centre, Naho, is mc.)
I guess we root for them because they're underdogs āĀ they don't get what they deserve, they're underrated in the world, and it'd be nice to see them get something, at least a good romance with and support from the mc.
(Tangent...)
There's also a more sinister interpretation, however, reserved for interests who won't stop even though the woman's uninterested. eg. Lance from Voltron, Stiles from Teen Wolf, JACOB from Twilight. Essentially where the man's incessant advances infringe upon the autonomy of the woman and her choices.
Where they view the woman and her affection as something to be "won". And it's a thought process that viewers adopt as well.
For an extreme example, since I want to rant, I've seen folks complain about the ending of the anime Erased (kinda major spoilers here, sorry, but I recommend the anime, it's good!)
You can see this sense of entitlement on behalf of the main character ā why else would he try to save the girl, if not to end up dating her? And the appropriate response for being "backstabbed"would obviously be to "stab that girl"... This is horrifying.
It's a very misogynistic way of thinking, to respond to romantic disinterest with violence. (The story isn't a romance. And the main character is not even interested in the girl! These folks are essentially projecting their expectations onto the narrative.)
This is obviously not as much the case with ILY, Cheese in The Trap (from what I can tell), or Fruits Basket. For starters, they're romances... The mc could hypothetically be compatible or like either the ml or sl (excluding Kousuke as of right now). It's also not nearly as weird to want her to get with one over the other, unlike in Erased where the expectation is bizarre (and honestly kind of inappropriate if you're aware of the characters involved).
We also don't have those incessant advances like in Twilight, and instead see the opposite, where the men actually dislike themselves so much that they don't even allow themselves to even try pursuing a romantic relationship (although there is actual potential).
Our second lead syndrome in these cases is more so rooted in who we determine as most compatible with the mc. And the nice, misunderstood but trying his best, second lead often seems better than the ml.
(But I can't deny that we, the viewers, may still view the mc's love as a reward ā it's tough differentiating whether we'd find a relationship satisfying bc of the narrative or bc of this outdated subconscious notion).
The fact that they're romances convolute the issue further... we're primed to view whoever gets the girl as "the winner." So I guess there's still a little bit of this at play.
(Tangent over...)
Speaking of Kyo, he's a perfect example of what you mentioned! I actually initially thought he would be that secondary love interest because - tropes, but you really start to root for him early on. Since, exactly as you said, you want to see a character denied love be loved.
The romance with Kyo is one of my favourite in shoujo anime/manga (if not my most favourite). I didn't watch the anime, but I read the manga (hard copy collector's edition version, I couldn't find the same translation online) and it's beautifully written. When he's being hit by Akito and realizes his feelings for Tohru and says, "She didn't solve my problems... but more importantly she stayed there..." and then thinks, "It feels like she's saying, 'I love you. I love you just the way you are.'"
It's a beautiful scene. I was in awe of Natsuki Takaya and understood why this is a shoujo classic. (Then the manga focuses on a bunch of weird age-gap relationships that have aged VERY poorly, but the Tohru and Kyo stuff? Always a 10/10.)
What Kyo thinks is exactly what you feel and notice. Tohru isn't all that special ā she doesn't solve their problems (well, eh kinda), she just shows a group of troubled and abused people what healthy, non-conditional love is, and that's why all the Zodiac members become so enamoured with her. It's love that heals them.
And it's so fitting the one she falls in love with is the one most outcast, the one despised, the one who most believes he isn't deserving of love.
As to how this all relates to ILY... Yeong-gi definitely seems similar to these "second leads" because like them, he's that underdog character ā trying his best despite the circumstances, but he's always cast aside. I guess it would feel really great to see this character who doesn't love himself and is deprived of love to heal through it. And a great vehicle for that would be a romantic relationship.
I know there's been this shift culturally to look down on romance and to say platonic rep is good. This shift for the most part is good because it counters harmful notions like the one I mentioned earlier.
But narratively, romance, if done right, is just as great imho. (I've also seen the "romances are clichƩ and people can just be friends!!" argument used against subtextual queer media. But that's a topic for another day). It all depends on the story being told.
In ILY, it would be so satisfying to see a Stalkyoo romance because it would effectively fulfill that part of Yeong-gi's arc AND Shin-ae's. It would be great to see how it would impact Shin-ae, who keeps her guard up and is cynical of love due to being hurt in the past.
They're both characters in need of learning to love and be loved.
And it'd be so beautiful to see them learn together.

thoughts on Cheese in the Trap Manhwa part 1
Cheese in the Trap is a story that will linger in your mind for a long time after you finish reading it. Everyone talks about how itās a thriller-romance, which it is, but letās get deeper, shall we? Cheese in the Trap is a story that shows how an abusive childhood can leave you with deep scars that affect you long into your adulthood. Whether it is emotional abuse or physical, what you face when you were a kid leaves a deep impact on you and later affects your relationships with people, how you take things at face value, how you deal with things not going your way.Ā
[spoiler alert]
The story follows the relationship between two very similar yet very different people - Yu Jung and Hong Seol.Ā
Yu Jung is shown as the perfect shoujo lead at first - good looks, rich family, top student, loads of friends, overall nice and kind to everyone around him.Ā
Of course, thatās not it at all. Jung has a vindictive side to him that is at times borderline psychopathic. Although he has lived a sheltered and comfortable life, his father essentially traumatized him by constantly asking him to be compliant with everyone. As a child, he was a very good kid, but his occasional selfish behavior made his father extremely paranoid that Jung would turn out to be a āweirdā kid and have a violent nature just like he used to have. This suspicion was of course aided by his mentor, Professor Baek, who supposedly saved him (Jungās father) from becoming a violent person. And thus, for very reasonable behavior common among kids his age, like not wanting to share things precious to him with his classmates, or getting mad at someone for breaking his toy, Jung starts getting constantly monitored for unwanted behavior by his paranoid father. It gets to the point where Jungās father sponsors the late Professor Baekās grandkids, Inho and Inha, and gets them to become friends with Jung so that he can use them to get updates on Jungās actions and behavior. Jung doesnāt really mind them at first and is seen to consider Inho as a true friend when Jung is seen fighting someone in order to help Inho and going to Inhoās favorite pianistās concert for when Inho couldnāt (due to attending a competition) and gets an autograph in Inhoās name. However, things go downhill when Jung finds out the Baek siblings were being used as tools by his father for updates on him. Now, Jung has been groomed by his father to not retaliate and always be compliant, so he lets out his frustration through different means. He brings justice as he sees fit by exploiting people around him and manipulating them to do what he wants, all while keeping his own hands clean. When he sees that he has been betrayed by someone he trusts, Baek Inho, he decides to take matters into his own hands sever ties forever.Ā
Hong Seol is the main protagonist of the story. She is a 3rd-year college student with her fair share of problems.Ā
She worries about her scholarship, her family, her friends, her grades, and just how to navigate life being a college student. She is seen as an observant and sensitive individual, but also as a pushover due to her need to avoid conflicts. Although Seol tries her best to help lessen the financial burden from her parents, her efforts are often overlooked due to them always expecting her to do so. Seol grew up in a house where her younger brother was always favored and prioritized due to him being a boy. This can be seen through several actions of her family members. Her dad always telling Seol to settle down with a well-earning husband when the time comes while providing her brother with the opportunity to study abroad, handsome allowances, and more priority. Her mother fussed over whether her son was eating well while she badgered Seol with all her problems. Her grandmother was seen buying snacks for Joon, Seolās brother, and not Seol. Seol grew up to sometimes resent the way she was and wanted to be more sociable and amiable like her brother so that she would be loved and prioritized as well. Seolās grandmother was a very important person during her childhood. Her words deeply affected Seol. It was seen that when Seol would be on the verge of tears she would not cry and let tears come out, as her grandmother used to say āWhat makes you think you deserve to cry/what did you do so well that youāre crying?ā (harsh, but a Korean thing). The passing of her grandmother left a deep impact on Seol. Seol loved her grandmother a lot and always clung to her, so much that her very traditional grandmother started showing affection to her as well and not just Joon. When her grandmother was in her deathbed and Seol touched her hand, she quickly let it go due to the hands being cold and Seol not understanding the situation. Later, after her death on the very same day, Seol regrets letting go of her grandmaās hand as it was the last time she could hold it. Although she doesnāt realize this, Seol carries this regret well into her adulthood. It surfaces when she clasps onto Jungās hand after almost turning him down, and multiple other occasions.Ā

10 Favorite Characters Meme, tagged by @lissar (ty!) to list 10 of my favorite fictional characters and tag 10 ppl.
1. Jane ānot your English Celine Varensā āProvoking puppetā ālittle bunglerā āmocking changelingā āmustard seedā āJanetā Eyre of Jane Eyre I cant put it in words I just love her š¦ <3
2. Moira Rose from Schittās Creek. I wanna be HER when I grow up š¤© (Iām kidding) I love her hyperbolic speech (it reminds me of how I text) and her tendency to wordlessly scREAM her feelings no shame no consequences. Her confidence is one of the best parts of the show ansbdjsnns š¹
3. āYes indeed, a mythological murder case...Obviously Iād appear!ā (FGO)
Sherlock Holmes! ššš gonna cheat and sandwich 3 separate versions of the same dude into one bullet point because theyāre all endearing jokers whom I love for basically all the same reasons. The Fate Grand Order, original (Arthur Conan Doyle) and Granada editions of Sherlock Holmes are my all time favorites Iāve seen so far. Grand Order took him by the collar from 221B and quietly placed him in a universe where All Myth Is Real and was like āwhat if the mystery this time is to find out who ended all of humanity?ā LOVE that for him. ACD canon is just cozy and fun and the fact that Doyle grew sick of Holmes just makes the books even better to me š¤ And Brettās passion for Holmes and accuracy are obvious while watching Granada. And it definitely doesnāt hurt that FGO seems to have taken inspiration from the show for their own Holmes.
4. āDid I hate him then? Indeed, I believe so. A love like that can grow to be nine-tenths hatred and still call itself love.ā
Orual from Till We Have Faces. priorities! She has them. Star of one of my all time favorite Greek myth retellings ever. Iāll admit I donāt remember the book perfectly well but I understood her anger so well back when I was reading the book and I remember rooting for her the whole time.
5. Albert Honig the mc of Telling the Bees by Peggy Hesketh. I have a fondness for kindly old men narrators and bees. And murder mysteries. Guess what this book has? ššÆšŖ
6. Inho Baek of Cheese In The Trap. Long suffering piano-prodigy-delinquent-man I knowwww your story is done being translated Iām just Afraid To Look. Soon! I will revisit you soon...in the meantime stay safe and protect your hands sweet prince š¬š¹š§
7. Adamant āthis is a kind childā ācrying is a defectā āI love you allā Sensei of Houseki no Kuni (heās the strongest bc heās LOVE INCARNATE!!) šš„ŗāš Despite all common sense I maintain the hope that he will never bite the dust (unintentional and morbid pun if u know anything abt Hnk)
8. Evi Kholin from The Stormlight Archive. miss I cant think too hard about you without tearing up I have so many spoilerific teary thoughts to share but for the sake of brevity Iāll just say: everything that happened to her hit too close to home and was also just. Massively unfair. I wouldnāt change it though bc it hurts so good and had appropriate levels of nuance and complexity and whatnot. The mysteries surrounding her were worth waiting till Oathbringer (Bk #3) for. I do seriously wish jokes werenāt the thing that made up 90% of her tag though :/ maybe Iāll take pains to fix that myself one day. Perhaps. š¤
9. Ellie Miller from Broadchurch! Another one of many altruistic fictional detectives I love.
10. Eton the Mad Prince š and would be canonical older brother of Raoden had Brandon Sanderson not scrapped him from Elantris altogether. I get why he did but the deleted scenes on his website....hysterical. He would have easily made it into my top 5 favorite cosmere characters of all time if heād made it into a published work. I love (fictional) monarchs of dubious (in)sanity and the best part is how in the deleted scenes I linked thereās no one we see him messing with more than Hrathen who, being canon, really /is/ in my top 5 favorite cosmere characters of all time. Those deleted scenes are probably safe to read if youāve never read Elantris and intend to btw, proceed with caution.
Tagging: @pinkafropuffs @kashilascorner @kandraswithhats @makruh @iwaizuml @fruit6at @sjouno @ayuumaku @elfenana @xviicprc @howaboutswords and anyone else who wants to do this should! Tag me if you do š

10 Kdramas I Recommend part 2
Hey~Iām back again with a part 2! I finish kdramas so slowly, so this took me a while to get to. Sorry if I ramble.
Here is part 1.
1. Life
Year of Release: July-September, 2018
Cast:
Lee Dongwook as Ye Jinwoo
Cho Seungwoo as Cha Seunghyo
Won Jina as Lee Noeul
Lee Kyuhyung as Ye Sunwoo
Yoo Jaemyung as Joo Kyungmoon
Synopsis: Ye Jinwoo is a doctor at Sangkook University. One night, the hospital director dies. Though his death is ruled as a heart attack, Jinwoo believes otherwise. Koo Seunghyo becomes the new director of the hospital, despite being a businessman. He sees the hospital as something to profit from, and decides to forcefully transfer three departments, including the emergency medical center, where Jinwoo works. Jinwoo and the other staff members protest this and start to scheme to have their new director removed.
Thoughts: I went into this for Lee Dongwook and Won Jina only, and only thought it sounded vaguely interesting. Iām not much for hospital dramas and politics, but this drama really ended up piquing my interest! Not only were the actors amazing, but it shaped up a really good story. It showed the bad and good characteristics of everyone, even the so called protagonist and antagonist. I did find it frustrating at times, but only to the point that I felt that I had to watch more to make sure everything got resolved right. From a writerās standpoint, the ending of this was wonderfully crafted, though watchers might have found themselves deeply sighing.Ā
Rating: 8/10
2. Healer
Year of Release: December, 2014-February, 2015
Cast:
Ji Changwook as Seo Junghoo
Park Minyoung as Chae Youngshin
Yoo Jitae as Kim Moonho
Synopsis: Kim Moonho is a famous reporter who enlists the service of a mysterious night errand boy, Healer, to find and protect Chae Youngshin, a junior reporter who he believes is connected to a decades old mystery surrounding five friends. The three become intricately connected as they navigate their shared past, the mysterious incident, and current day politics as people in positions of power try to cover that incident up for good.
Thoughts: I LOVED THIS DRAMA! I watched it in around three weeks (itās a 20 episode drama), and loved every single minute of it. It was the fastest I have ever watched a kdrama. I thought about starting it many times, but always pushed it off because the summary never sounded interesting. Yet after watching a trailer and deciding to see how it was for Ji Changwook, I was instantly tossed head over heels. This drama is thrilling. Secret identities, reporters, mysteries, romance (!!! yāall thereās this one cute scene that really makes me squeal), trauma, pain, and everything in between. You will seriously not regret watching this.Ā
Rating: 10/10!Ā
3. Come and Hug Me
Year of Release: May-July, 2018
Cast:
Jang Kiyong as Chae Dojin/Yoon Namoo
Jin Kijoo as Han Jaeyi/Gil Nakwon
Heo Junho as Yoon Heejae
Kim Kyungnam as Yoon Hyunmoo
Yoon Jonghoon as Gil Moowon
Synopsis: Namoo and Nakwon were each otherās first love in high school, until Namooās psychopathic father, Yoon Heejae, murdered Nakwonās parents. Twelve years later, the two meet again--with Namoo as a police detective who goes by Chae Dojin, and Nakwon taking after her late mother as an actress by the name of Han Jaeyi. She suffers from severe PTSD. Together, the two of them navigate their rough past and try to move forward and heal, even as the past threatens to return to their present.
Thoughts: I canāt begin to stress how much I like this drama. It is a drama with a darker theme, but I really liked how they focused on Nakwonās PTSD and a) how people reacted to the rumors of her mental trauma, b) how they didnāt end up pushing that it made her weak, but rather showed how she grew through it. Every single actor in this was fantastic, especially the child actors! I was really glad to be introduced to Jang Kiyong and Jin Kijoo! They looked so great together :). If youāre a fan of healing dramas with a touch of serial killer, you should definitely check this one out. It checks all the romance boxes, but also all the fun, crime filled ones too.
Rating: 9/10Ā
4. Descendants of the Sun
Year of Release: February-April, 2016
Cast:
Song Joonki as Yoo Shijin
Song Hyeko as Kang Moyeon
Jin Goo as Seo Daeyoung
Kim Jiwon as Yoon Myeongjoo
Synopsis: Shijin is a captain of the special forces, and Moyeon is a doctor. They meet at the hospital, and decide to date. Unfortunately, it does not work out, as they realize that Shijin as someone who takes lives and Moyeon as someone who tries to save them are not a good pair. The two part ways, but it seems like fate is looking out for them, because eight months later they meet again when Moyeon is assigned to go to Uruk with a medical team, where Shijin is stationed.Ā
Thoughts: DOTS is a drama classic, and a must watch. I went into watching it expecting to to be very different than it was, but I was not disappointed in the slightest bit. It delves into a lot of topics on morality and making decisions in the midst of a life and death situation. The Song-Song coupleās chemistry was off the charts (and they got married in real life, too!), plus the second lead couple was awesome too! Each character brought something unique to the show. DOTS made my heart leap and feel all sorts of things--especially when Onew (he played a doctor) was crying his eyes out, like dude, I wanted to bawl. This is a classic you cannot pass up.
Rating: 10/10
5. Romance is a Bonus Book
Year of Release: January-March, 2019
Cast:
Lee Jongsuk as Cha Eunho
Lee Nayoung as Kang Dani
Jung Eugene as Song Haerin
Wi Hajoon as Ji Seojun
Synopsis: Cha Eunho is a popular writer and editor who works at a popular publishing company. He is close friends with Kang Dani. With a twist of fate, Dani--who used to be a popular copywriter but has recently fallen upon hard times--manages to get a job at Eunhoās publishing company by lying on her resume.Ā
Thoughts: Any drama with Lee Jongsuk is going to be good (well...most dramas), and this drama was the perfect mix of funny, romance, and a dash of mystery. Daniās character was very relatable. Sheās awkward, kind, old timey, and genuine. I loved getting introduced to Wi Hajoon as an actor through this drama. He and Jung Eugene were great second leads/supporting actors. The rest of the cast are each very unique in their own way, and lots of kudos to the writers for showing us little slices of how they live and their own problems without making the storyline messy.Ā
Rating: 8/10
6. My Strange Hero
Year of Release: December, 2018-February, 2019
Cast:
Yoo Seungho as Kang Boksu
Jo Boah as Son Soojung
Kwak Dongyeon as Oh Seho
Synopsis: When Kang Boksu was in high school, he was falsely accused of school violence by his friend (Oh Seho) and his girlfriend (Son Soojeong). Years later, as an adult, Boksu has the opportunity to return to school and graduate. He takes up the offer with the idea of getting revenge, as Soojeong has just become a teacher there, and Seho is the new director as he battles to take control of the school from his mother, the chairman. However, things donāt go as Boksu plans, and he soons find himself tangled up in a major school corruption.Ā
Thoughts: Okay!!!! I usually get tired of hearing the same old corruption spiel since apparently kdramas love to point out the problems with Koreaās school systems (while nothing changes), and while Chairman Oh definitely made me want to slap her straight across her dumb face, it wasnāt enough to make me completely stop watching. First off, I love all three main actors (or I did as soon as I saw them in here). Yoo Seungho is always enjoyable to watch, and Boksu and Soojeong were sweet and fluffy and balanced each other out perfectly in the relationship. I also fell for Oh Seho! I know a lot of people found him a terrible person...and yeah, he was definitely a prime example of like an anti-villain, but he also had a great redemption arc and I just...wanted to give him the hugest hug.
Rating: 8.5/10
7. Cheese in the Trap
Year of Release: January-March, 2016
Cast:
Park Haejin as Yoo Jung
Kim Goeun as Hong Seol
Seo Kangjoon as Baek Inho
Synopsis: Hong Seol is a hard working college student and Yoo Jung is her good looking, smart, and rich sunbae. Over the course of college, Seol and Jung eventually start a delicate relationship despite other obstacles in their path. However, a friend from Jungās path, Inho, returns and also starts to fall for Seol.
Thoughts: This drama...I actually only watched it for Seo Kangjoon and heās the only reason I finished it. This has the biggest second lead syndrome you will ever find. Personally, heās the only reason this is making it to my recommendation list (that and the fact that Iām horrible at finishing dramas). On the other hand...letās just say that I hated Park Haejin for so long because I could not get over how much I disliked his character in this drama. It was an interesting character, but I couldnāt stand how manipulative he was. CITT is based on a webtoon, so maybe thatās why itās so crazy, but it took me so long to finish this. It took me a year because I stopped watching it so many times. This show seriously drove me crazy. There are only a couple things that get me genuinely riled up when I have to talk about them, and this show is one of those things. I donāt know, some people really liked it, but while there were good characters and some nice parts, in the long run it was just really not that good.
Rating: 6/10
8. Bad Guys
Year of Release: October-December, 2014
Cast:
Kim Sangjoong as Oh Gutak
Ma Dongseok as Park Woongcheol
Park Haejin as Lee Jungmoon
Jo Donghyuk as Jung Taesoo
Gang Yewon as Yoo Miyoung
Synopsis: In order to combat the rise in violent crimes, the Police Detective tasks Detective Oh Gutak with putting together a group of criminals to take care of the problem. Gutak, who is currently suspended for excessive violence, puts together a team consisting of gangster Park Woongcheol, hitman Jung Taesoo, serial killer Lee Jungmoon, and Police Inspector Yoo Miyoung. Together, the team tackle the rising crime rate and dangerous criminals.
Thoughts: This show was only 11 episodes, maybe why I was able to watch it so fast. Itās violent and dark--the perfect fit for the crime/mystery genre. I also like to call this Park Haejinās redemption drama, because after this you know who I liked x.x. There were also a lot of plot twists that made me need to watch the next episode immediately. Thereās a sequel to the show with a new cast but the same premise, but Iāll warn you that that show has definitely more violence and blood and death and stuff (Iām still watching it; Iām kind of stalled out right now since a certain episode made me lose faith in that entire show, ahem episode 8).Ā
Rating: 8/10
9. Kill It
Year of Release: March-April, 2019
Cast:
Jang Kiyong as Kim Soohyun
Nana as Do Hyeonjin
Roh Jeongeui as Kang Seulgi
Kim Jaewon as Philip
Synopsis: Kim Soohyun is an elite assassin who is searching for clues to the past he cannot remember. Do Hyeonjin is the adopted daughter of an important congressman who is a new Police Detective. She is still searching for the killer of her boyfriend, even though nine years have passed. Soohyun and Hyeonjin start to cross paths, finding a connection from their past that leads to a growing relationship.
Thoughts: Sounds like every au ever, right? Jokes, itās my favorite au of all time and I freaked out when I found out Jang Kiyong was going to the lead. It sounds cliche, but I swear itās very good. I love the fact that thereās not really a romantic relationship between the two, like itās not supposed to be romantic, but rather focuses on the platonic, friendship between them. Itās a dark, twisting drama, another one showing how deep corruption runs in the government (thatās always a theme because you know, itās a thing), and the ending freaking killed me but you know :((.Ā
Rating: 9.5/10
10. He Is Psychometric
Year of Release: March-April, 2019
Cast:
Park Jinyoung as Lee Ahn
Shin Yeeun as Yoon Jaein
Kim Kwon as Kang Seongmo
Kim Dasom as Eun Jisoo
Synopsis: Lee Ahn has a special ability, psychometry. When he makes skin to skin contact with someone, he sees their darkest memories and secrets. He dreams of becoming the first Police Psychometrist. Yoon Jaein has been running her whole life, ever since her father was charged with the arson of Yeonsung Apartments, where Ahnās parents died. The two first meet in high school, but their connection is cut short, only for them to reunite two years later and start to solve the mystery behind the fire and the other crimes that connect to it, along with Ahnās non-biological brother, Prosecutor Kang Seungmo, and Police Detective Eun Jisoo.
Thoughts: OKAY, let me take a deep breath before I get into this one. He Is Psychometric is one of the best dramas I have ever watched. Itās right up there on my top five, I reckon. I didnāt drop this or anything; I watched it from the moment it started airing to the time it didnāt. Fair warning that if you expected happiness, this is not the drama to go for. Itās so twisty and has so many turns, like everytime something was uncovered there was still more threads to follow and it was insane but amazing. Especially for me, being a huge psychology fan, I loved digging into these characters and how unique they each were. The relationships, bromance and romance alike, were so intricate in this drama. I went through a million feelings and emotions in the span of a minute. This drama is also one that you canāt see coming. You can theorize (and believe me, I theorized the heck out of that thing) and guess, but it manages to blindside you almost every time. This show will break your heart and how you think of the world and humans and for that, you have to at least give it a try.Ā
Rating: 100/10

stolemysparetime replied to your post ābecause @scoundrels-in-love reminded me of she was pretty, i present...ā
Can i just rant about cheese in the trap for a bit? Baek Inho was so much better than the main guy (i dont even remember his name). He was so interesting,so charming, so much more human (idk does that even make sense?) like he was better than the main lead in every way and i was so mad. Never gotten second lead syndrome to this extent before
YES YOU CAN
look itās been like 2 years since i watched it and the anger at him not being the main is still v strong. SOFT PIANO BOY!!!!Ā

Kdrama Review: Cheese in the Trap
Or better said, me ranting over a kdrama for years in a lot of words.
It has been very difficult for me to start writing this review thanks to all the feelings with which this drama left me. After finishing it I had to get distracted by other things until the anger left me. It has been years, but I still remember this one very well.
Before expressing everything I think about this production, I will tell you a bit about the plot, its development, everything that happened throughout history and behind the scenes (scandal included) to end what went wrong. So, warning: this will contain spoilers. BUT they will be duly indicated.
Cheese in the trap is the adaptation of what at the time was an unfinished webtoon (from there it was an alarm, because it would be impossible for the drama to be 100% faithful to the original story, not that it tried precisely) written by Soon Ki.
I was filled with excitement before starting watching CIT because Park Hae Jin was the main lead.
Cheese in the trap tells us the story of Hong Seol (played by Kim Go Eun), a university student (finally a college girl in a drama and not in high school, yay!) Who, like any other student, suffers from problems relative to his student life.
And here is something that I loved about hers characterization and the drama in general: everything is very realistic. We see situations with which I identified 100%. The teamwork, the exam stress, always ending up doing all the work alone. These are veridic situations so I felt what Seol was feeling while living them, since I I have experienced them in my own flesh. That made me fond of her, and therefore, the drama.
Anyway, a year ago Seol met Yoo Jung Sunbae (played by the aforementioned, PHJ). With this character we find the true feeling of this drama.
At first, Hong Seol realizes certain things that differ of the public image of his Sunbae. Yoo Jung is a young man who always maintains a pleasant and smiling image, sociable and kind.
Like, he seems not able to kill a fly.
But Seol, who is quite observant, realizes that there is something he hides, something that does not show anyone but is there. Thanks to the fact that he realizes this, and worse, that Yoo Jung realizes that she realized (that sounded like tongue twisters) is that, in front of everyone, Yoo Jung treats Seol well, but when they are alone ... I would not say that he is bad, but the situations lent themselves in a way we are not sure whether Jung was the very embodiment of evil, or just a prejudiced person (and weird ...)
Yoo Jung is what makes this story be this story. He is a complex character, with nuances and secrets. With an unknown past and also unknown intentions. There were times when I didn't know what to think about him, and many times they leave us in the dark until later, making us see him in different lights throughout the first half of the drama. He is a very interesting character and I loved him, for the simple fact of his uncommonness and truthfulness, which lies in his complexity: because humans are complex, so a complex character feels very real.
Well, the fact is that Jung, for reasons unknown to viewers (at least at the beginning) seems that, one year after that almost hateful relationship with Seol, now he likes her. At least he acts like he does, but does he really like her, or is it a ploy? What does Jung hide? Is he a strange person, is he bad, is he good?
In the meantime, two brothers who grew up with Jung since childhood arrive to our screen. Ā Baek In Ho (played by Seo Kang Joon) and Baek In Ha (played by Lee Sung Kyung, which we have already seen in It's okay, that's love).
This drama is PURE GOLD, that at least until chapter 9 (or 10, more or less) And here it is when I, somewhat confused by the change, goes to the net and looks for reviews of the drama, just to find what I should have known Ā much earlier: news of the scandal. What happened, my lovely Cheese in the trap?
I read article after article, all to explain what I was seeing on the screen. My beautiful Jung, a character so interesting, so complex, that I wanted to know more, who I wanted to see grow up, suddenly, stopped appearing.
Just like that.
I mean, not completely. But Jung began to havejust fifteen minutes on screen, in a chapter of one hour, when the second main lead, Seo Kang Joon, who plays Baek In Ho, raises his time on screen until he seems more a main than Hong Seol herself (not that I would measure time, but more or less)
The change was noticed. I noticed that the story I wanted to know, Jung's, his problems at work, his relationship with Seol, and so on. All that was relegated to a non-existent plot plane, which focused on InHo and its problems: In Ho and his piano, In Ho and his insecurities, InHo and his little heart, In Ho and his work, In Ho and his debts, In Ho and In Ho and more and more In Ho. I am not blind to not notice such a radical change. And not that I didn't like In ho, but these scenes didn't contribute anything to the story.
Not only did Jung stop appearing, but his story went from important to irrelevant, and the drama that was about his personality, his relationship with Seol and the university ceased to be ... to be what? The InHo self-pity show?
So this is what happened: Ā Park Hae Jin, the actor for whom I began to see this drama, which began, not only well, but in an excellent way, called an interview to complain about it.
That wonāt sound strange (oh yes, an actor complained and?) But for this we must bear in mind that we are talking about a Korean actor. Korea, a country where all of us who have become accustomed to their culture know that everything is choreographed. The actors, the Idols are so correct that they say almost nothing out of place, because everything is scripted.
That a Korean actor, contrary to all his "culture" called an interview to complain about a production is unusual. What I say unusual, is very very very unusual. An actor who speaks like this is not only exposed to the condemnation of the netizens, but to bad publicity. And in Korea bad publicity is the bane of any public figure.
Anyway, that is why this was a big scandal here in kdramaland. PHJ says: āI recorded scenes, these were cut. Crucial scenes for my character and his growth, for the public to understand. I'm a webtoon fan, he says, so I wanted to do justice to the character. They cut scenes already recorded about Jung's childhood, scenes I worked hard onā
And the question is why did they do it? PHJ did not know and we, much less. Why cutting the wings of an actor who, without a doubt, was up to the character, who carried it masterfully, and who had already recorded what was necessary? Why?
It is when, in view of what was happening, the original webtoon writer, Soon Ki, now complained: āI was not consulted at all after chapter sixā
That, along with the increase of the SKJ scenes, and that he was about to release a new drama with the channel, gave and continues to give rise to many conjectures about what happened there. That it was a strategy to promote the new SKJ drama, that problems between the director and PHJ, that this, the other ... But in reality, we know nothing for sure.
What happened to what could have been Cheese in the trap? Well, nothing, because it was in a noticeable decline.
Leaving aside the problems of production, that personally bother me a lot, are the problems of the drama itself, of what we see on the screen.
The last episode arrived and I was not disappointed. I was ANGRY. Rabid, even.
I didn't expect much, not only because it is common in kdramas to have bad endings, but also because, seeing the last episodes, there was no way for everything to be fixed. There was no way. And there was not.
The end is an insult to every viewer.
The ending was an insult to fans who gave them ratings.
It is an ending that should shame them, because honestly, they could have done better. But they didnāt. Why? Here I have an answer. Because they didn't want to. They didn't want to give back to the fan that was tuning them in, to the viewers who gave them sixteen hours of their lives at watching their drama.
First of all, Jung. Jung is a character who could have given much more. PHJ did an excellent job in his characterization, and with the little time he had on screen, he made magic at helping us to understand the character, even if we only saw it for fifteen minutes.
But the biggest problem I have with this story was not seeing In Ho playing the piano for so long, it was the waste of Jung's character. Many were left with the idea that Jung was the worst psychopath. We did not see his past because the scenes of his childhood were cut. We did not see his problems on a daily basis, we did not see his thoughts, as we were supposed to, Ā because his scenes got cut.
And the most important. We did NOT see the long-awaited Character development. It supposedly happened. Jung grew up, learned, softened. Improved, accepted himself and so on. But it doesn't happen on our screen. And we can't even see which was the end result for Jung.
If you ask me, I don't think Jung was a psycho. He was a person who, from the little that I could capture, his past and his childhood taught him to be what he was, a person who does not always make the best decisions and who does not tempt his heart to take revenge on those who hurt him , which is not right, but that's what I wanted to see! Yes, he made the same mistake like three times, but i wanted to see him learning to be better, but we are not able to see any of that. Jung ended up being a secondary character in a story that deserved his stellar role.
The relationship of Hong Seol and Yoo Jung seemed very tender to me, the truth is that in the first half they were OTP. Although it had its flaws and that was what the drama dealt with, in a very bad way, at the end.
That if everything Jung did was forgivable? The truth is, I don't think what Jung did was so bad at any time, but that is maybe just me. It was not the best way, obviously, but it is not as if he had killed anyone or as if the injured ones were not doing bad things. He did what he thought was right, in his own way, and it was not always the best. And Seol came to understand and love him and accept him and ... to forgive him? I think not everything should be justified, and it is something that we also needed to see on screen: after the end, did they fix everything? But no matter what, there is no way that I can see the relationship between Seol and Jung as toxic.
Unknowns and more unknowns in this drama that could have been one of my favorites, but ended up being only a so-so kdrama (that is because even with all the wrongs, those first episodes are gold and I treasure them like nothing else)
I recommend it? After such a long review (but I had a lot to say about this) we could deliver by reading that, yes, I recommend it. Its first half is worth all the anger at thesecond. Everyone's performance is very good, Ā the atmosphere is just right, not to mention the ost, its characters, the situations of the typical school life and Jung , a character that fascinated me from beginning to end, in spite of all the incongruities that the script had in its final round.

.born to actĀ |Ā skj solo
Finally there was another evaluation that was targeting acting achievements. As soon as Kang Joon had heard about it, he had become a puppy excited over its toy. It was kind disappointing to hear the trainers expected the trainees to focus on only one scene, when he wanted to take part in many projects. Even then, he had no doubt about which scene he wanted to devote himself to. There had been always one character from a webtoon based drama, Kang Joon had identified himself with. Baek Inho was basically him, a thuglike guy who loved playing the piano and himself, who slowly opened himself up and showed his caring side. With his height, amber coloured eyes and brownish hair, he tended to think that he suited that role, so he easily choose the drama Cheese in the Trap to prepare for the evaluation at the end of the month.
He had always been the one to just play a secondary role, someone who didnāt brought attention to himself with overwhelming talents as he was at most medicore. The only thing he was sure about was the reason of why he had been chosen to become a flower in the Royal Garden: His visuals. But they werenāt by far the only thing he got to offer to the world as they only portrayed one facette of him. Acting was one way to show the world otherwise.
So he was burning for the evaluation, run around Royal and the Seocho Complex to find people willing to join him in his scene. Everything else was prepared, the lines for every one of them, space in a training room to exercise in. Just the actors were left.

~secret santa here~ I'm getting stuff done!! what're some of your favorite actor/actress moments (like moments that make you fall for them)... Are you drawn to good criers, or smiles, or intense moments?
oh thatās a tough question. i usually like actors because of their kdrama characters. i def think i am drawn to good criers. but they have good smiles as well.Ā
i love seo kang joon because his acting as baek in ho. my favorite ep of cheese in the trap was episode 13, kangjoonās acting was so good!! i usually gravitated towards the inho seol scenes. but also all of the inho piano scenes i loved a lot. iāve seen kangjoon on roommate and he is so cute. i still havenāt finished s2 tho.Ā
also i love nam joo hyuk i canāt really think of an exact moment for him tho. but my favorite joohyuk character is jung joonhyung in weightlifting fairy. also I loved his celebrity bromance busan thing with jisoo, that was cute. also the really loved the running man episode he and seo kang joon were both on.
i recently have gotten very into lee kyu hyung. for him it definitely was because of him as ganghwa in hi bye mama and him being such a good crier. i love every single crying scene he does. i love how funny kyuhyung is. the scene he eats seowooās eggs in hbm was so funny. also he can sing so iām so !!! ive only seen him in hbm and prison playbook so far but yeah.Ā
i love are park boyoung in oh my ghost. thatās my favorite boyoung drama. i liked that scene she comes back and she hugs sunwoo in the middle of the street and the fan scene.Ā
i love won jinah too. mainly as ha moon soo in just between lovers. iām excited for her new drama i hope it doesnāt end up like melting me softly.
also every scene kim hye yoon is in extraordinary you. eun dan oh was such a great character and is very funny and cute.Ā
thinking about extraordinary you i am into lee jae wook too. i dropped do do sol sol la la sol but i love him a lot in when the weather is fine and search www. especially that scene in search www when heās reading this lines in his baek kyung voice and then switches in a millisecond!!! also his swoon interviews with go ara were so cute.
im sorry this was long and so unhelpful.Ā

the penthouse that currently belongs to INHO used to belong to famous webtoon writer ( WANG SO ) , the young man was sponsored by one of the companies under ( SKY GROUP ). months ago, the writer disappeared, leaving the house to his *cough soulmate ( KIM SORA ), she refused the ā gift ā & the place was empty for months until ( BAEK INHO ) moved in, also receiving a ā gift ā Ā from his grandfather who really just wanted to see himself free from him.
inho is hyper aware of the things happening around him. YES --- he is the one being pushed around. he is the one whose being taken advantage of. but don't fault him for being oblivious, he knows what others see when they look at him. he may even tell HIMSELF he doesn't see, but it's there. he knows what you want & in the end, you don't know the reason why he's giving it to you without complaining. is he ACTUALLYĀ a snake ?? find out on the next season of the vampire diaries.
( BAEK YOO JUNG ) was his mother's name & she was only nineteen when he was born. she never had the time to find a passion in life ( other than inho's father ) & she wanted her son to be different. therefore, from the moment he could stand on his own, until the day of her tragic death, she pushed him around, wanting him to try different things. MAYBE he would have the luck of finding his passion early in life. inho started playing different instruments thanks to that, but music was NEVER his thing.
HE DID MET HIS FATHER --- just like every other person in south korea. ( YOO HYUN JAE ) started as a broke ( ghost ) writer. he was willing to settle down & forget his dream for the sake of his child, and the woman he loved, but her father did a good job of chasing him away. he p r o m i s e d to make something of himself ; and DIDN'T disappoint. he became a star & later a famous producer, but he never found the courage to face INHO.
( NAM JIHYUN ) was his maternal grandmother's name. she died before he was born & left a fortune to his mother. when INHO turned eighteen years old, that money became his. these days, he lives off of it. his ( UNCLE ) was highkey looking forward to getting his hands on everything, if inho did get criminally accused of YIXUAN'S accident.Ā
he DOESN'T live in the penthouse. the boy accepted gratefully but he knows why his grandfather gave it to him & it makes him feel ( BITTER ). he goes there often, mostly on WEEKENDS, to study, since it's disturbingly quiet. but ( INHO ) never even changed the decor, things are just as ( PARK JINHWAN ) --- wang so, left. he used his own money to buy a small, two room, apartment closer to university.Ā
