My obsession with After School Lessons for Unripe Apples has led me to finally read Cheese in the Trap. I enjoyed the drama back in the day, but not enough to bother reading the webtoon. And now I kind of regret it, cause it's so much better. I still dislike Jung and much rather prefer Inho, but at least now I understand him a lot better. Still, my favorite thing is certainly Seol. Few characters have been as relatable to me as her; I have gone through many similar experiences, and had the exact same thoughts as her very often. I also liked the ending way more than I expected, and the long ride leading to that was certainly worth it.

in the past six years since it ended there isn't a single one T-T

this webtoon has been such a huge comfort to my life and its like- a part of me as a person at this point so IT HIT ME how i've never made a playlist of these sillies apart from me making fanart of them (this is beside the point) so i really wanted to create something i can go back to hence, this playlist !

i hope that other citt fans like me enjoy this playlist as much as i had fun making it !! again this is more of a modern take but some songs target both their messy and endearing moments from the story !!

Though i think Inha shouldve more empathic scenes to get even compared with Inho and Jung, i agree.

i feel like jung and inha are the most complex characters of the webtoon which is why they’re hated, misunderstood, or labelled as dysfunctional psychopaths by many readers. the high school flashbacks are so important and you have to really understand the depth of their backstory to understand why they are the way they are. compared to seol and inho who have their own traumas but get more love from the readers because they’re both more honest and upfront with their feelings while jung learned from his childhood experiences that the only way to handle situations he disliked through manipulation and inha learned how to use people for her benefit and discard them when they’re useless.

and on that note it really annoys me how people think inho is “better” because he’s more upfront and says whatever he wants, when that’s exactly what lands him in trouble with people and hurts people like the piano kid and jung. he also got praise and love all his life for his talent and got too egotistic from it. he doesn’t realize what he’s doing to other people because he expects them to voice their feelings as strongly as he does when not everyone is in the position to or weren’t raised to be honest about their feelings (like jung).

IM REWATCHING CHEESE IN THE TRAP AGAIN AND I STILL CANT GET OVER THE FACT THAT SEOL ENDS UP WITH JUNG INSTEAD OF IN HO. THEY WERE SO GOOD TOGETHER, THEY WERE THE PERFECT MATCH, BUT SHE GETS WITH JUNG INSTEAD, ITS BULLSHIT👹👺🔪
