She reaches out to pat his cheek, and for a moment his heart soars hopefully, and he barely restrains himself from leaning into the rare bit of contact and soaking up his mother’s touch. “Oh, Timothy,” she tuts. “This is for the best. And honestly, I think it’s wise for you to cut down a bit on the snacks. I’d hate to have to listen to anyone tittering at the next gala that you’re getting chubby.”

And without another backwards glance, she turns and heads upstairs, leaving Tim alone and frozen at the bottom of the steps.

He wasn’t being very successful on that front.

The message, written with the extraordinary eloquence that Shen Qingqiu knew Luo Binghe was capable of, had been sent en masse to the entire faculty and student body. It stated two main points. Firstly, that Luo Binghe attested that Shen Qingqiu had never slept with, assaulted, molested, groomed, or was in any way inappropriate to him during his time at Cang Qiong Academy (thanks for the endorsement, Binghe!!). Secondly, that Luo Binghe was announcing this because he intended to marry Shen Qingqiu and did not want even the whisper of false impropriety to stain his Shizun’s name.

fun fact. i originally put "kon's ear piercing was originally where cadmus tagged him as 'experiment #13'" on the kon facts quiz poll but i took it off because i was like. well that's too easy. everyone knows that one's true right? but then i run across stuff that makes me question that so ... fun fact! kon's piercing is from where he was tagged "experiment 13" in the tube.

the original ear tag label can be seen in some of his early shots in reign of the supermen, before he swaps it out for an earring. i have a lot of feelings about kon's earring because it's very much a direct act of reclamation of bodily autonomy in the face of intense dehumanization.

Honestly, I like the new spawn egg textures in today's snapshot. I think some of them are a little goofy, but I think it's an overall really good change.

I haven't seen many people mention it but I think this is a big accessibility win for minecraft. In recent years it's become so difficult to just find a spawn egg in the creative inventory at a glance because there's so many mobs now and so many of them share color schemes. I can't even imagine how annoying it was for colorblind people. Having unique textures makes it so much easier to tell the spawn eggs apart!!

Sampo & Caelus are so important to me, I love them. To me they are bros. Buddies. Partners in mischief making and chaos. Caelus is a total weirdo and Sampo is always getting Up To Something, and they both hate being bored or stagnating, so they regard each other as an endless source of entertainment and amusement.

They're the kind of friends that just kind of see each other when they see each other, and when they do cross paths they greet with that funny hands-clasped-between-them-and-one-armed-hug thing that guys do. Then they go to a bar, annoy the local population, kick up a ruckus or cause some kind of mischief somewhere, and go stumble into a hotel room to sleep it off.

They did this a few times in Belobog, and Gepard once found them on a morning patrol passed out in a gutter together. Sampo was sacked out with a newspaper over his face. Caelus was sprawled out next to/on top of him in the most awkward and uncomfortable position a human body could possibly contort into. Both refused to explain anything zkzkkskd

So I made this snowbaird folder (in which i put all fics i loved from ao3)

They are sorted by WIP or COMPLETED work,

i try to udapte the WIPs gradually (as they are udapted on ao3)

And im still in the process of categorizing and sorting them out by themes, canon divergence, AU...etc...so, sorry it takes a bit more time than planned😅.
