I was named after Rachel from the Bible. Funny enough, my husband’s name ironically ended up being Jacob. (No, it wasn’t planned.)

2. When was the last time you cried?

Infinity Wars. Hawkeye’s family. OMG, that opening sequence...

3. Do you have kids?

I have one crotch goblin. Sometimes he’s cranky and doesn’t take his naps and makes a mess, but he’s a pretty cool kid. I think I’ll keep him.

4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?

What? No! ME? Use sarcasm? NEVER!

5. What is the first thing you notice about people?

Visual first impressions - the general shape of their face, the color of their hair and skin, any particularly distinguishing features, etc. I actually had a hard time with faces and eye contact a lot as a kid so I kind of forced myself to take notice.

6. What’s your eye color?

Hazel - looks brown most of the time but in the right light it looks kind of green.

7. Scary movie or happy ending?

Happy Ending all the way. Have you seen the real world lately? Real life horror movie. Is it too much to ask for a happy ending once in a while? 

8. Any special talents?

I like to sing, dance, act, draw, and paint. I like to think I have a talent for explaining and teaching, but I don’t have quite enough spoken evidence of that from others to really say, though.

10. What are your hobbies?

Meta theories on my favorite shows, in depth character analysis/study, the whole artsy bit, drinking quality coffee (the best cup of coffee I ever had in my life was the Bald Monkey Beanery in Charleston, SC; and coffee’s never been the same since.) and Dungeons and Dragons but it’s so hard to get a group together consistently for long enough periods of time to do long campaigns.

I have so many animals to take care of it’s insane. I have a cat named Allister, two ball pythons (Jin and Princess Booplesnoot), a slew of rabbits (they’re livestock, though, not pets even though they’re practically treated like it), and if you count human children as animals I have one of those, too.

Ah yes! Sports! I love the sports ball! I love to cheer the.... goalie... when he gets... *checks smudged handwriting* a touchdown in one!

14. Fav subject in school?

So I studied 3D Animation (which is cool, but thanks to most of the class not taking it seriously it was really more like Maya for Beginners) and I threw myself at that class, even staying home after school some days and working on projects at home because I thought it was FUN. My teacher loved me.

I also loved English. I never quite had the chance to join an actual theater class, so I ended up in AP English using it to really dive headfirst into analyzing literary themes, character development, etc. Looking at my blog, though, is it really that hard to believe?

15. Dream job?

Director of a show or a movie. Even just once in a small bit deal. I don’t think all my skills are quite up to par yet for something like that; but with all the lackluster movies and rehashed old franchises I feel like I could downright have a decent shot if I was enough into the source material. When I have had the opportunities to direct small projects I always get excited and die headfirst into it.
