HERE, JACK HAS DEPRESSION (and i rly hope they go into that more in depth later in the show bc he intrigues me. if they dont go into it more then im writing a way too in depth analysis post of jack) 

AND NOW FREAKING CHER’S FRIEND/CRUSH FROM CHILDHOOD IS FREAKING DEAD AND HER BODY WAS FLOATING IN A POND WHICH DOESNT RLY LEAD TO ANY IMMEDIATE THOUGHTS OF A NATURAL DEATH WHICH MEANS IT WAS PROBABLY MURDER AND/OR SUICIDE WHICH MAKES IT EVEN FREAKING WORSE 

i knew it was too good to last. the over-confident, cocky, funny, sassy/sarcastic people are generally the most messed up, they just hide it via humour and feigned confidence (i am most certainly not one of these people at all) 

cher stop drinking, you’re gonna hurt yourself. also the alcohol might feel like it’s lifting the burden of thinking and stops you from worrying about everything thats happening, but itll come rushing back to you when you’re sober and worse because youll have a hangover, and it’s only a temporary fix, drinking only works for a couple of hours. you need a more permanent fix, cos if you keep turning to alcohol, itll turn into addiction and substance abuse and dependency, none of which are good, all of which are much harder to get out of than they are to get into. so yeah, just chill with the drinking a little bit. i get that you need to let it all out and you need to not feel for a bit, and that’s totally okay, but you need to make sure you’re not over-indulging yourself. otherwise youll be very ill in the long-term, both physically and mentally 

PFFFT THIS WAS THE PERFECT SHOT TO END IT ON 

final thoughts: 

theyve both said things that make absolutely no sense in context unless theyre confessions of feelings, and yet theyre definitely gonna continue to do the “what if he doesnt like me back” thing even tho its SO CLEAR to LITERALLY EVERYONE they have feelings for each other 

theyve gotten so close to kissing this episode and yet they havent which is sad, but also at least they have kissed at one point before getting to the point where they COULD have kissed a grand total of siXTY-SEVEN TIMES- (shut up im not talking about tinngun what are you talking about. .....but also if you wanted to see that post where i count out all of the times tinngun didn’t kiss...) 

very sad with the complete and utter lack of threezo in this episode. actually, it’s not even a lack of threezo. neither of them even appeared in the episode. neither was even mentioned. they (i.e. the characters, the creators of the show) are all acting like threezo AREN’T the most important characters in this entire show

oooohhh~ myyyy~ i dont even one to ask it, but characters reaction on older sibling is just so damn good. absolutely sweetest parts are Xiao's ofc and Kazuha's.boy can u imagine this reliefed sigh adeptus would let out when readers sib finally starts coming around?but another thing, how fun it would be since someone for a change felt brave enough to bully damn yaksha???id imagin3 Xiao's face at their first interaction would be priceless.("if i thought that y/n was strange human, her sibling is even more so" kind of tjoughts id imagine). Poor man would probably be so so surprised someone dared to act so harsh around an immortal being..oh well, at least they are not afraid of him, thats probably for the better.and damn u showed Xiao so cute like this, being happy his partners sib finally stops being such a meanie and now he can breath freely..

Kazuha is so sweet trying to win this person over with his natural calm friendly nature and poetic charms.how sweet of him to try and keep being nice even tho readers sib obviously acted unreasonably rude.true sweatheart.and Wanderer,im always happy when authors do not bend characters just for the sake of the sorry, i always feel like saying thank you honestly.because yes, there is no way Wanderer would just play a role (at least not after it doesnt work first time) and be sweet to obviously just as annoyed sibling of readers.he would treat them the same way they treat him, but still he loves his oartner and tries to uphold facade along with the sib as long as it needed.and ofc i love that u showed that Wanderer still not just illogicaly rude, he just blant and perfectly capable to hold a normal conversation.as long as other dont gets on his nerves so much..

Childe probably would be the fastest to actually bond with readers sibling, i agree with your vision on him.i mean, two grown ups gushing about their orecious sibs.tho i still think Ajax would act cautious not to anger the sib, since how dare he touch u too much when they re around?the audacity..noone wants sweet relationship they were building so hard to blow up again.

to answer your questions, i did not get wanderer in game bcus the devil overtook me and i pulled for childe, didn’t have enough wishes for my babygirl.

overall i prefer wanderer i think, especially for writing purposes. i reallyyyy like character development as well, so wanderer is top for me. however, i still call him scara regardless because that’s just his name in my head yk??

i also know little to nothing about kabukimono because i don’t pay attention to lore, i’m so sorry i have terrible memory (i also never do quests if i’m being honest) so i wouldn’t know HOW to write about him, so probably not just bcus it wouldn’t be accurate 🤷‍♀️ (im not up to date on scara stuff AT ALL. literally everything i write about wanderer is purely knowledge from other fics i’ve read)

you cleared your throat awkwardly, “you know… they just like to talk about anything that comes to their minds”

seokmin just nodded and kept cooking the ramen for you two. there was a lot in his mind now, were you two already dating? were you two a fling? a situationship? his thoughts were killing him.

“yn?”, he called you out and you hummed in response, seokmin turned to look at you, he tried to hide his anxiety and nervousness in his voice, but his expression said otherwise, “what are we?”

“i… i dont know. we’re friends…?”, seokmin chuckled bitterly when he heard your answer to his question, he wouldn’t deny, your answer hurt him, “come on, i think we’re more than that”

you felt a pang in your heart, you knew you like him, no, you knew you love him so why did you say friends? why were you so afraid of getting official with him?

“then what are we, seokmin?”

seokmin pursed his lips, turned off the oven and walked towards you, who were sat on the couch, “in my opinion, you and me are not that complicated and it’s clearly not that hard to understand what we feel for each other and…”, he ran his fingers through his hair while looking away for a moment before looking back at you with a frustrated expression, “who between us will dare to say that its impossible for this love to happen? if i recall, you were the one who said that you think we can date people even if we dont have a soulmate, but the relationship wont last forever and i get it, you made me think the same. before i know you i thought id have to be single forever.”

“seok-“ before you could even finish saying his name, he cut you off.

“and i know you said you dont do relationships, i understand and i respect that, even tho it might not look like right now. but i know youre afraid of the end, you dont want to get involved with someone because youre already thinking about the end of the relationship because the person is not the one and trust me, im scared of that too. im scared of trying something and end up getting hurt, but im more scared of not trying it out with you and regret about being a coward for the rest of my life.”

you just fell silent, looking at him while listening to his words. the sight of his eyes tearing up breaking your heart in pieces, all you wanted to do was to keep him close to you, to keep him safe in your arms.

“after all we said to each other.. after all we did together,” he scoffed, “its no longer appropriate for us to be just friends, dont you think?”

“seokmin, i know you have feelings for me and i have feelings for you as well.. but it’ll hurt too much when this comes to an end. for gods sake i think i love you, i cant bring myself to do this to you and to myself.. i know that ill never be capable of love after you”

he was no longer holding back his tears, they were running down his face while he looked at you with such sadness in his eyes, “if you love me, why cant you give me a chance? why cant you give us a chance?”

“because loving is scary!”

“dont you think i know that?! you know me too well to know what i think about not having a freaking string with someone and yet my feelings for you are so strong that i created the courage to try it out with you, to say ‘fuck you’ to the destiny and be with you. if you think that giving in to love is that scary, then let me show you how my love can be beautiful and not scary at all. yn, all i want is you”

seokmin cupped your face and kissed you, desperately trying to show you all of his love for you in that kiss while tears continued to fall from his face and soon enough from yours too.

once the kiss was broken he rested his forehead against yours and spoke with a shaky voice, “i swear ill make it work, we wont grow apart. only death will separate us, actually, ill even fight death just to stay with you a little longer. ill go anywhere you go, if you end up falling out of love ill try to win you over again and again. i promise you ill never give up on you.”

“i dont think i could never fall out of love with you…”

“then be mine and let me be yours… please… we can try it out, we can make this happen. ill fight for you, ill fight for us”

you couldnt bring yourself to say something. you wanted to kiss him again, to tell him you do want to be with him, but you were so scared. it was funny and ironic that you felt that way, he usually was the scaredy cat about all this non-string stuff so why was he the brave one and you the scaredy cat at that moment? you two were already kind of acting like a couple, why were you so scared of making it official?

seokmin continued to look at you with his red eyes, still tearing up and holding your hand firmly, but gently.

“please… im only trying because i know about your feelings towards me and you are worth it”, he brought your hand to his cheek and closed his eyes, letting the small tears flow down his face once again. seeing that made your heart ache even more, you rubbed your thumb against his cheek while you watched him, still in deep thoughts about this whole situation.

fuck it, yn. you love him and he loves you. you deserve to be happy, you deserve to have a romance with the guy you love. dont think about it too much, you must live life fully.

you gave him a small smile, still caressing his cheek with your thumb as he leaned into your touch, “lets say ‘fuck you’ to the destiny and be together”, you said softly and he looked at you with puppy eyes, closing the distance between you two by kissing you and then breaking the kiss just to pepper you with pecks all over your face, “i swear we’ll be the happiest couple ever. ill make you the happiest girl, make you look at our hands and swear you saw the string”

“i know you will… but i have to tell you, im really scared, seokmin”

“trust me, i am too.. but we can do this together, alright? lets focus on having fun and loving each other, lets forget that this whole soulmate shit exists. we can make our own destiny. i promise ill be good to you”

My Problems with Astraeus & MC

when i look past all the fanon n worldbuilding n the storyline i think for my MC,,, the route w/o anything added leaves a bitter taste sometimes... provided its shorter then others but its still... and im bored

For example... when complete w how the MC acts in his route i dont like how Astraeus calls her his 'greatest muse' and at one point likens her to the main art piece in a gallery. Normally itd b cute but here its :///

bc she does act as distant as a piece in a museum.

She never tries to understand him or be there for him... 'get down to his level' in a way, take care of him... idk give a little massage something... even he's bleeding out he's the one taking care of her... not only that she's constantly annoyed by how he speaks, by his greatest passion (poetry) i never feel like she knows things abt him or tries to get to know him (or like what she knows) and naturally he puts her up on a pedestal to admire.

They kind of just...have sex. And Astraeus has this mysterious connection to her heart for some reason other than that do they even have anything in common... She's the subject of his intense love but now that i read carefully i don't think its returned. Girl at least throw a 'I'll never leave you' or sth... Which is why i think he brings up the idea of a seperation a couple times bc he doesnt feel secure... Or thinks he s holding her back & and is afraid of her comparing him to Hades' in possessiveness (which was also unpleasent fyi... there can b a mid ground)

Who says... 'Yeah if you wish we can get seperated' when remembering a beloved union... im not all hard on MC tho dw now its Astraeus' turn xD 'would mine really be more binding' my dear boy MC was about to be sacrificed when you found her SHE DIDNT SIMPLY JUMP INTO YOUR ARMS

Yeah it looks like your husband does think that despite being in the middle of the events. I was offended for her here and wished she'd turn his proposal down as it looks like it doesnt mean much to him and he will leave as soon as he finds the next shiny thing. He seems fickle.

Another thing... Id have liked a serious apology from Astraeus abt how he acted in Hades' route... This -

Like i give sm excuses to him n actually find him a lot more charming then Hades there despite it being his route but that does not change the fact he did try to forcibly kiss her, threatened her, forcibly kissed her this time and grabbed her.... A couple times. Yuck. The problem isnt that he did those id have expected worst from a man who spent centuries in that hellhole but that the story takes this too lightly. No i never found it funny how he treated her partly bc the canon mc was terrified. Wtf

You literally didnt. You were waiting in Tartarus for forever if not for the MC. Um how dare you??? You could say he's trying to get Herakles' attention here by making MC seem like a bystander but i dont think so tbh. It feels like he does believe this. And its such a weird ooc moment... I haven't been this enthralled with an episode in a long time.

Are there one or two nitpicks? Absolutely.

Do I wish somethings were not mentioned? A little bit.

Am I glad Alya knows? Out of everyone, she is the second person I wanted Marinette to tell.

(The first one being chat noir, but lets face it, we kind of knew that won't be happening for a while.)

So can Alya salt stop now? Cause Alya CLEARLY showed how much of a motherf***ing boss she is.

But damn I didn't feel this emotional since Chat blanc.

I DONT EVEN CARE THAT THE AKUMA WERE REPEATS.

That was OBJECTIVELY, one of the best episodes in the entire series.

This made me rethink my favorite episode. THATS HOW GOOD IT WAS.

Season 4, You keep doing what you are doing. Your writing (minus some very minor nitpicks) has been pretty damn good.

Look I'm not one of those people who believe Kishimoto decided to have Hinata and Naruto end up in the middle part of Shippuden. I believe he decided in the very last arc but he wanted to sound smart so he said he decided earlier on. Otherwise, they obviously would have more scene together. In Shippuden, they have only three scenes together ; when Naruto came back, the pain attack and the neji death scene. That's it. In the original Naruto, they probably have less than ten canon scenes not including fillers.

So I'm sorry I'm one of those who wasn't convinced by The Last. They literally had a basic villain go after Hinata who was cringe btw (the villain). They gave Hinata op powers which she doesn't have in the novel 👀. Despite having op powers, they made her the damsel in distress. Very "The hero saves the princess" cliche. Again, to justify them being together. I mean Naruto can't differentiate his love for ramen and romantic love so how??? He was just being nice to Hinata just like he does to everyone. He stood up for her just like he does for everyone.

Don't get me started on the Sakura Sasuke relationship 🤣. Cringe. They never knew each other. The whole Sakura's love for Sasuke saved him doesn't make sense. They spent barely a year in their genin year before sasuke left. Sasuke tried to kill Naruto and Sakura multiple times. Then at the end of the war, Kishimoto tried to do the "oh they have such a deep understanding between each other" which comes off as cringey. He gets her pregnant then leaves for years. She's literally a single mom who's broke.

Every relationship in Naruto is so cringey and forced except shikatemari. Kishimoto should've focused on the main story and fixed his potholes and leave the ending open.

Naruto would not have been perfect but at least it would've been remembered for staying true to its vision but instead it's remembered for cringey relationships, dumbass villain (except pain and madara) and a story that lost its core which is a shame coz I used to love Naruto. I was inspired by its messages but now....

I mean, Naruto in general is a mess, not just the ships if we're being realistic. Alot of plotholes, rushed endings, this and that, the w a r a r c, Kaguya, the way they rushed Boruto ehhh. Honestly, getting into Naruto is literally my biggest regret of 2020 :"DD

If he did that one single basic thing, then maybe the endgame relationships wouldnt have been an asspull and theyd be given propper screentime with their love interest, both Sakura and Hinata. The Last tbh i think the writers played it safe and stuck to the whole Naruto shounen vibe thingy, so im not surprised it was plotted that way. Typical cliché shounen movie.

But does that bother me? No! The Last was a mess, their development was shit, they definitely needed more screentime but hey at the end of the day theyre cute as fuck, we have that kiss scene, flirting scenes, a shit ton of official art, three kids, Seiki's gif :33 and a whole ass arc for their wedding all that for just a shounen anime so eh. Compensates for it i guess xD theyre not toxic, unhealthy or whatnot. Theyre wholesome, soft and vanilla as fuck and exactly what i need in my hectic life rn. No drama, just two kind souls who are adorable as heck and theyre dynamic means so much to me and I will love them until i shall leave this earth.

cap stuff, because i want some happy juice that im happy to make for myself.

as i often wrote before, cap loves to pet kosch, but she also loves physical attention herself. no one knows why, not even herself, but she enjoys it. sometimes she purrs or sighs and/or sleeps on the person petting her. racter does this often to get her to stop having anxiety for a time, much to duncans chagrin.

cap is definitely a big eater, but she doesnt have an iron stomach like gobbet. still, the two do challenge each other over meals, and sometimes tries to pick each others meals, like uneaten fries or wings. more often than not, this leaves to a utensil fight, from chopsticks to forks and spoons. more often than not, no one wins, because they had spilled their meals.

cap enjoys challenging is0 in the matrix, even tho she knows that is0 is a master compared to her. she is kinda envious that is0 has huge servers in her room to do whatever she can, while cap has to rely on outdated software that she does try to tune up, despite the risks of it breaking. cap’s computer is also just a brick, but its still p useful. is0 doesnt mind helping her update it, tho some of the pieces dont fit the casing of the computer, so they have to do some further digging.

cap sucks at writing haikus, but she enjoys listening to gaichu recite them and japanese poems and books. tho she doesnt speak the language, she learns about some phrases and how they are valued in his culture. on a different note, being aware that he needs to eat people to sustain himself, she does feel very uncomfortable by it, due to her childhood trauma as the game states for seattle, which applies to her, but she does sometimes help hunt down the worst kind of people for him. otherwise, she minds her own business and stays away from that.

being siblings, cap and duncan are p cool with each other, sometimes getting into fist fights to practice, tho she is much smaller and lighter than him, ofc. he still helps her get better, even if she cant get the hang of it properly, buts its only for her to be safe than sorry. they also watch trideo programs together when they are bored, and joke around about it. esp around action flicks and dramas. (cap hates dramas funny enough, so she only watches them with duncan.)

cap enjoys hanging around heoi, to talk to some of the residents, or party in club 88. she is an awful dancer and singer, but its a blast. she also helps reliable matt with his drones by fixing them, thanks to racter teaching her. and while she doesnt approve of him using a chip to keep up a facade, she lets it be as long as it doesnt cause any harm. she also jokes around by calling him “beautiful” in return for all the times he said it to her.

since she is a decker much like is0, cap spends time around max law to scan through his wares, while bantering with him. she tends to forget he is a lot older than she thinks, so she tends to treat him like a younger brother or kid, before remembering that lil fact. they also talk about the journey to the west novels, and various adaptions, like video games, because of his boat that is referenced to the monkey king.

cap is p chill with ka fai family, and as i said before, enjoys partying in the club. tho, sometimes, if she becomes too rowdy, henry picks her up and drags her out where duncan waits for her to bring her back to the dowager empress. duncan is never surprised, but is often disappointed.

on a funny note, cap is frightened by both kindly and bao, so she never dares to enter the mahjong palor. the same could be said with crafty xu, but for a different reason. she adores xu, but the smell of sage gives her migraines and reminds her of her time in prison. otherwise, she does like to take a sneak peek at some of the books xu sends to her, and often talks about gobbet’s particular ways of cooking.

cap finds ambrose the most mysterious, given that what he says about himself, may or may not be entirely true. but at least he helps her and the crew a lot by supplying them with medicine. ofc, since she is sometimes up to shenanigans that leaves her with a few injuries, he is the one she always goes to, or has to go to, no matter how much she tries to assure the crew that she is all right. esp when she gets sick.

on a side note, tho it isnt canon to the game, but in my stories, cap often speaks to lucky strike, because of their relations to racter, and cap’s own past. there are some things lucky keeps secret, esp about bleak, caps old friend that went missing, if not had passed. its also hard for cap to hide that she finds lucky very attractive, but she believes its because some of her mannerisms reminds her of racter. thing is, she always has been attractive to the dangerous ones, much like how she was attracted to some of her exes in the past.

least to say, cap never really had a healthy relationship. but it is what it is, living the kind of life she has.

there are some things about lucky and cap that i might explore in the future, as i feel there is a lot of potential there, esp given her attitude in srd. but i need more dialogue refs of lucky to capture her character for them. im not too big of a fan to get back into srd, but ill be glad to do it for those refs, and other things, so i can get a better idea on how to write her. but this is a huge if.

[maybe ill write some rac/cap/lucky bits, because im starting to ship lucky and ract, but i deeply loathe the love triangle trope. and i never like the idea of cheating relationships, plus, ract did say that leaving their old crew made lucky hate his guts to the point that she was howling for blood. im not one to write unhealthy relationships unless there is a point to it. i also keep thinking its canon for some reason, but racter cant connect with someone like that, tho i do think its entirely possible for him to had slept with a few people, lucky included... hm. i guess it depends on how i feel about it... sometimes, tho, i feel like im obligated to write it too. like, is this what people want? i wont lie, i did touch up on this sort of thing before, but only between lucky and cap, but it was entirely consensual between cap and ract to allow her to spend time with lucky. and cap is something of a saucy individual. im okay with poly/open relationships, only because its the best alt than cheating couples and stupid love triangles... tho, in this case, i assume lucky nor racter connect with people like that. well, i appreciate any thoughts about this, tbh. i know i wrote about it before, this sort of thing, but what are others thoughts on this case? will it be okay for me to leave the relationship just between racter and cap, or put lucky into the picture as well, given their history? or maybe just keep lucky as a side character that is not afraid of speaking her mind to cap, about how things go in heoi and how racter may just leave her like he did before.

honestly speaking, id much rather let racter deal with cap only, instead of getting into something intense with lucky. ive read too many stories about unprompted hate kisses and rebounds, and i want to do something that isnt that. i just worry ill disappoint people... tho i have no reason as to why i do. i just feel that this is something i *have* to do, if that makes sense.

Could you tell me more about Starfall? I really like what I've heard so far, but some more context for the characters/their world or even just a preview of the very beginning of the story, would be really cool to see, anything you want to talk about!

AAA ok ok so starfall honestly is. weird. its a pmd story ofc but its also a dimension travel story in the vein of svtfoe sooo things may be kinda wacky but i can share some things abt the story and the pmd world itself!! the story itself has. quite a bit going on tk the point where i already have a prequel mostly scripted that im waiting until starfall itself is more finished to actually start. adhd storytelling folks.

basically though the Starting Plotline is that this platinum ranked team called team silverwind (Castor, Atlas, and Quinn!) get roped into a job request dealing with wormholes that have been popping up throughout the world and something goes VERY wrong and the team pretty much drops off the face of their world and the multiverse entirely. so, our main trio team starlight- Asha, castor and atlas’s daughter whose spent her entire life traveling through wormholes and is tired and mad about everything, Skylar, an amnesiac impulsive dare devil adventurer who wants answers and to help their new friends, and Valerie, the optimistic happy go lucky newest friend whose never been outside her hometown much less her dimension and just kinda fell into the plot- have all set out to find the lost exploration team, find out what happened, and maybe see if they can fix the wormhole issue themselves while theyre at it!

valerie’s hometown, Serenade Falls, is set on mist continent (aka the gates to infinity continent) and is “the hub world” as you will... its kiiinda like a vacation place ironically so like there are a ton of attractions and places to relax and Just Have Fun. theres only one official rescue team placed there (as anyone there knows anyways ;) ) because its so safe. as of right now anyways. hint. in fact skylar chose to stay there after meeting valerie bc “asha we are way too young for constant anxiety and stress we need a decent rest stop now”. so yeah thats the town where our main gang rests and plans things in. the first arc basically is them going into the wormholes, searching for these people, getting into some plot relevant shenanigans, and mayybe getting some hints about their lives that make them question their own selves and the universe but perhaps. ;)

there is also stuff going on in the pmd world as well ofc tho!! bc im assuming people read pmd stuff to see more abt the pmd world. the events of the games are referenced, some more relevant than others (one main driving point of the story actually is caused by gti, but uh spoilers for that game so i wont say 😔) but starfall takes place yeeeaaars after psmd, id say five generations or so after that game. idk if people will care for it but the main things dealt with in the pmd world itself will be emotional stuff. some exploring and conflicts there, of course! but the majority it will deal with is character stuff.

i cant give an official preview or anything yet but i can give a brief thing of what the opening will be like! the prologue will basically show team silverwind’s apparent demise, with atlas handing baby asha to castor and he escapes with them and goes on for a while as she ages before he eventually vanishes too. (or i could cut that and just show the scene of him vanishing... still pondering What Works with the prologue 😔) and chapter 1 is basically about how valerie meets skylar and asha! basically she falls into a wormhole and they help her out of trouble! dont mind spoilers like that bc. its chapter 1. but yeah! its gonna be fun, more fun than it sounds! (besides the prologue thats just gonna be sad sorry)
