In light of recent events surrounding Wilbur’s actions towards Shelby, not only have his former discord mods abandoned his channel as well as all (if not most of) his twitch mods quitting, the former Wilbur soot subreddit is now dedicated to Wilbur Wright, the inventor of the plane.

Let me introduce you to this beautiful artwork, what a way to memorise such a glorious inventor.

Likely case is that the subreddit will soon be archived in the next couple of days or weeks to prevent it from becoming lost media in the future.

To add on, Wilbur has been hands off with his moderation and community for years, leaving many things up to his staff. With the permissions they have, if his mods wanted to and if he ever dared to stream again, they could overthrow him and prevent his chat from being properly moderated. So as you can imagine, and rightly so, they’ve revolted too.

why are people still calling wilbur’s abuse towards shelby “allegations”? he admitted to it, it’s not allegations it’s the truth, using that kind of vocabulary will only hurt shelby as a victim, making people believe that the entire situation is based on some sort of “allegation” rather than the reality of it, which is a victim coming out with her story and her abuser admitting to it without an apology

Do not censor "Wilbur Soot" or "William Gold". Say his name. Wilbur Soot is an abuser. His name deserves to be irrevocably tied to his actions. Do not censor his name. His name is Wilbur Soot. He is an abuser. Wilbur Soot is an abuser and deserves to be labeled as such.

Also: Say her name.

Do not call Shubble "Wilbur's ex". Do not refer to it as "the Shubble situation". She is a human being who is so much more than just "Wilbur's ex". Her name is Shelby. She is incredibly brave. Shubble is strong, Shubble is brave, Shubble deserves to be heard and called by name.

Call Wilbur Soot an abuser.
