RWB - a steddie highschool reunion/4th of July fic RatedE, Kinky!Eddie, Top Steve (soft)

Steve’s gaze flits to Eddie’s mouth and back, and he licks his lips. It’s so fraught with sexual tension that Eddie can practically taste it. And then Steve, the bastard, smoothly chooses a slice of pineapple, and pops it into his mouth.

Eddie sweats even more and his mouth goes dry.

“Do you ever take your hair down?” Steve asks when the pineapple disappears down his gorgeous throat, Adam’s apple bobbing seductively.

“N-not really. Sometimes.”

Steve smiles, wipes his fingers on the towel, and reaches with both hands for the back of Eddie’s neck. “Can I?”

Oh, fuck. “Sure.”

Steve’s gentle, much more than Eddie is when he takes out the tie. He unwinds it carefully, standing so very close, trying not to rip any hairs. His mouth is open slightly, and he’s got that look in his eyes, like he’s gazing at something beautiful, something lovely, something good.

Steve’s fingers brush against Eddie’s collarbone, his ear. He fans Eddie’s curls out over his shoulders, pushing his bangs off the front of his forehead. There’s no way he hasn’t felt the beads of moisture there, and Eddie –

“Hey, can you help me with the –”

It’s Dustin. He’s standing in the kitchen doorway, looking like he’s seen a fucking ghost. His brain fires as he looks quickly from Eddie to Steve and back again.

“– with the grill?”
