maybe it's been said but in light of stede and ed's new breakup... ed as the last surviving member of a 70s rock band, they lived like kings, smashed up cities, left a trail of unpaid bills and broken hearts in their wake but it all ended in tears. and then ed discovers stede, an older guy with a unique sound who's trying to make it in the industry and he helps him put out demos and get his first shows, but when stede blows up in la and starts living the rockstar life, ed can't take it. he doesn't know how to warn him but he doesn't want to ask him to give the fame up just to what - run a shitty diner whose only patrons are the other survivors of the seventies? and so they split and stede writes the most devastating breakup song that plays on every radio in every shitty bar ed frequents, and the whole world is wondering who broke stede bonnet's heart.

Yuuta could hear Maki and panda laughing at him, realizing they caught him. “while you two are laughing how are we even going to play this stupid game!” Yuuta exclaimed with embarrassment in his tone. the pair stopped laughing and seemed to ponder. “one of us could ask her what her type is,” maki said. silence engulfed the group as six pairs of eyes stared at Maki. “what?” she asked. “well..,” panda started, “you’re the only other female here so it’s best you ask her,” panda finished. “ugh, fine, you’re lucky i actually want to see how this ends between them,” maki responded. the group decided to start the game once sparing was over, free time.

putting your training weapon back in its spot you turn to see maki standing behind you. you flinch slightly, “maki! don’t stand behind people like that! that’s creepy!” you exclaim clutching a hand to your chest in an effort to slow your racing heart. maki sighs softly, muttering an apology. “wanna hang out for a bit? i wanna get to know you since you’re new here.” Maki says, quickly starting a new convo. “yea, of course!” you say. as you and maki walk out of the weapon room the convo starts out smoothly, asking each other what your favorite foods are, favorite colors, and how you both ended up at jujustu high. you two get along pretty well! you and maki clicked instantly, finding that each other liked similar things. making it to a small clearing you two continue chatting away. almost forgetting to ask the most important question of all, “what’s your type?”, maki asks. “hmm.. my type..,” you say in thought. “maybe someone who’s nice to others but is even nicer to me, if you understand..” you say with hesitation. Maki raises an eyebrow. “like someone who treats me differently from others i mean!” you say quickly in hopes of not seeming weird in front of your new friend. “i knew what you meant, i was just messing with ya.” maki laughs. “ugh! not funny..,” you pout, embarrassment fading. “i meant it as i wanna be someone’s special someone.. i want someone to obsess over me and actually want me,” you say with a semi - sad expression. your mind filling with your ex relationships. they all wanted what was in between your thighs, they never really wanted YOU. “maki stares at your side profile for a moment before looking forward and speaking “ i get it. i used to wish for that as well.” you glance at her “really? what’s your type then?,” you say. “someone to stay with me until the very end.” Maki responds. you two sit in comfortable silence for a bit. “black hair,” you say quietly. maki looks at you again. “black hair and a cute face,” you say with a cheeky smile in her direction. maki returns a small smile back in your direction.

Panda and Inumaki crowded around Yuuta who was sitting on his bed in his dorm. Yuuta ranted on and on about everything he adored about you. your eyes, the way your nose crinkles when you smell something good or when you’re about to sneeze. the way you style your hair or the days you wrap your hair in a scarf to protect it from the rain that’s coming sometime that day. the way you dress. your style is hypnotic, everything you wear you look absolutely stunning in. even your footwear, keeping up with the best shoe brands. don’t even get him started on the way you always seem to bump into everyone you chat with, arms accidentally knocking against one another’s, shoulders touching as you two walk together. your perfume.. it’s intoxicating. it’s like he gets sucked into cloud 9 every time he’s with you; and he wouldn’t have it any other way. this went on for a while. panda listening intently while inumaki was nodding off. everyone jumping slightly at a sudden knock on the door. Yuuta gets up and opens the door to maki standing there. ”maki, how’d it go?” Yuuta asks as he steps to the side to let maki walk in. “it went well, i suppose. we have more in common than i thought.” Maki responds. “what’d she say about Yuutaaaa,” panda sings. “even tho there’s only one person here she could’ve been talking about,” maki starts, looking at yuuta, “she says that her type is dark hair and a cute face,” maki finishes. “tuna mayo” inumaki retorts “i know! you might have a chance after all yuuta,” panda exclaims. Maki holds a finger out towards the group “she also said that she wants to be with someone who will actually want her and obsess over her, someone who actually loves her,” maki says. she turns to yuuta again “if you end up going out with her and you end up hurting her i’ll kill you with my bare hands,” she finishes with in an angry tone. “i do! i’ve been telling panda and inumaki how much i love her this entire time!,” Yuuta exclaims. “salmon,” inumaki says in an exhausted tone. maki huffs.

the next training day rolls around after a 2 day break. you and maki have gotten closer over that time. you two hung out the entire time, watching movies, gossiping, and looking at hot guys on instagram. even doing errands together! you two were almost inseparable. even going as far as to try to get paired to spar together, but gojo had other plans. “Panda and Maki, Yuuta and Y/N! inumaki you’ll stay with me and observe.” everyone nodded and headed to their weapon stations. you walked a little ways ahead of yuuta who seemed to drag his feet, yet you didn’t mind. that’s what he loved about you the most, you didn’t seem to mind most inconveniences in your life, believing it was simply life. making it to the weapon room before him you grab both of your weapons to make the trip quicker. “here,” you say in his direction, handing him his while reaching for your weapon which was oddly placed higher and in a different spot then were you last placed it. you feel him take his weapon out of your hand and see his arm extending past yours, reaching your weapon with ease and handing it to you. “thanks,” you say to him with a bright smile. Yuuta blushes heavily and mutters a small ‘you’re welcome’ before quickly turning and walking out of the room back to the field. you and yuuta’s sparring session went… okay, i guess? it took yuuta a while to adjust to your combat style, but every time he fumbled you extended a hand out at him with a smile on your face saying “let’s try again, yuuta!” as much as he wanted to give up, how can he deny you?

a few hours passes and everyone was beat. you and yuuta were the last ones to put your weapons back in their spots, leaving you two in the room alone. yuuta deciding there’s no other chance he’ll find you alone with out the other three, he goes for it. “y/n, can i ask you something,” yuuta says in a shaky tone. you turn to him eagerly “yea, of course! what’s up?” you respond turning towards him. Yuuta hesitates for a moment thinking carefully of what to say to not embarrass himself. “y/n, when i met you it was like i met another version of myself. you bring out a side in me i never thought would be found. you’ve.. changed my life for the better. you give me a reason to look forward to what the day brings. even rika likes you,” he laughs to himself. you get a bit nervous. is he saying what you think he is?.. “y/n.. you’re so perfect and you might even find me a creep and avoid me, but i like you. not even like, i love you y/n. i can’t keep these feelings to myself anymore,” he finishes looking down at the ground bracing for rejection.

In my original playthrough, I HC that Serena is best friends with Karlach, so it makes sense she’d want to go to Avernus to help

Shadowheart wants to join them (she wants to be where Tav is 🥺) but Tav begs her to stay behind because she JUST got her family back!

They don’t see each other for some time. Tav wonders if perhaps Shadowheart has moved on. (They have quite an argument about this- Tav encourages it! Shadowheart doesn’t want to hear of it. She’s already in love, why would she even dream of finding someone else?) Tav argues that her human lifespan is short enough- Shadowheart deserves better. It’s a good thing Shadowheart is stubborn as hell.

Tav dreams of Shadowheart every night, just as she dreams of Tav. Tav wonders if Shadowheart has moved on. Shadowheart wonders if Tav is dead 🥺

The night of Withers’ reunion party is magical. I would imagine they miss most of the gathering lmao 😭

She finds a familiar figure knelt by a bed of night orchids, tending to them. She glances up because Buttons is howling and barking like crazy…and she sees her girl 🥰

Shadowheart takes so much joy in showing Tav all her progress. She shows Tav their room (Shadowheart even organized and kept all of Tav’s belongings 🥹💕)

She introduces Tav to the animals, who immediately take a shine to her. Tav has her arms full of kittens and Shadowheart when she’s told what is perhaps the most shocking news of all

Perhaps it is then that Shadowheart either reveals: 1. She is pregnant (we all know the story behind that one lmaooo) or 2. The orphan Shadowheart ran into on her way coming from the city one day.

You've been called to paint the walls in Arkham Asylum since they had to be renovated.

His s/o sneaks into the living room and Eren just does...a double-take. His character dies on screen because he’s too busy staring and his s/o can totally hear Jean screaming at him for just standing there, but...y’know. 

Honestly, his face is bright red. He’s so taken off guard and just stunned by his s/o’s beauty that he fumbles with his words for a bit before hastily grabbing the mic portion of his headset.

Honestly, same scenario as Eren. He’s playing video games with his gaggle of friends. He probably mains Mercy, tbh. 

When his s/o just struts into the living room of their shared apartment, Armin squeaks in the back of his throat. It’s a super cute noise, but it’s mostly because he’s taken by surprise. 

No one really notices the sound until Connie dies despite begging Armin to heal him about eighty times. Armin doesn’t really care, tho. 

This savage already put everyone on mute, lmaooo. 

“What--what are you doing?” 

He stammers a bit but his eyes are still glued to his s/o’s body. Armin isn’t as innocent as everyone thinks he is. Like, he’s on the same field as Jean and Reiner in canon, lol. So, naturally, he is turned on. 

When his s/o explains it’s for tiktok, Armin is kind of like “okay, but like...?? can we still??”

Why BTS ignores paradise? 😭

A/N: be ready for my academic rant afterwards bc I think I know a bit about why this is regardless of the cards but let us see. It was meant to be a crack reading WHY AM I CRYING

WHY ARE BTS PARADISE ANTIS

Listen. BTS might not really be paradise antis and here's why. There doesn't seem to be a clear indicator on them actually wanting to dismiss the song by their own accords.

It actuals holds a special place in their hearts. It is a song that came out of a dark place. Like the light at the end of the tunnel, they had been through shit (and I mean deep dark shit) to them is anthem to the dark times, something that reminds them of the silent suffering that they were going through and the light shining on them of finally being able to begin to heal (9oS rx)

The timing of the song- it's a reminder of how it seemed to them like they were working their asses of without any reward waiting for them in the end, just burn out. Seems like although it means this much to them, their reluctance to perform it or talk about it is a boundary of theirs, to just- enjoy it for what it means to them (knightoP rx)

Them playing it as paradise antis is actually a facade not to hurt. This stage of their lives is something they have yet to work on and that's okay! Even so much as listening about this song triggers their fight or flight reflex. As I've said before, it is a reminder of darker times and the inner voices that went through their minds. Kinda like how you listen to the song that helps you cry when you can't? Kinda like that (the high priestess)

We know the boys are also on their own self-love journey and- okay this song appears to be an insecurity of theirs. They have yet to realise that vulnerability is sexy. They feel like the song has so much emotional input to the point where the usual BTS-esque structure was left behind. Basically, they feel like the song isn't enough. (strength rx)

Yeah basically, it's one of those personal healing items that they would like to keep for themselves, a token that reminds them of when life started taking a turn towards better times, the beginning of a new era of their career. (5oP rx) the message of what they were healing is pretty consistent on being desperate and unwilling to keep going, along with a lot of professional hardships, not seeing value in what they were doing (QoW rx)

And you know the funny thing, the spread ends with the wheel of fortune, showing that their strength to keep on going was fate itself, that things were meant to change for the better, it was life showing them that some successes take time, that hard work definitely pays off, that when met with decisive moments in their lives, if done out of love and respect for the reason as to why they started in the first place will most definitely be rewarded.

THE CORPORATE DECISION BEHIND NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO PARADISE

Listen- Paradise is a beautiful song and after what the cards have told- it is even more so, fortunately (or unfortunately) for us all and BTS, Paradise is a big no-no from a HYBE/BigHIt POV.

It's an educated critique of the system, inspired on Marxist theory and what not but BTS is prone to be criticised over the smallest things, giving voice to such a song would only light the fire even more on external people calling them hypocrites.

BTS has grown like no other, their company has risen from the absolute ashes, and it really is no secret and shouldn't be something to be ashamed of, they are making THE money. You would have to make a bit more sense if you're gonna go around preaching about society's construction and dynamics reducing dreams to nothing unless they are deemed valuable for the capitalistic system all the while you keep getting richer.

Evidently, there are a lot of rich people out there claiming to have an anti-capitalistic mindset and no one really gives a shit whether they are true to said beliefs or not but that's where intersectionality comes in.

If they were to promote/perform Paradise (and as things are now, it would be the topic and gain a lot of attention), you can't look at BTS being incongruent about the topic without also acknowledging that they are POC, that they are struggling against a "teenage-filled fandom boyband" stereotype, hence why it's a safer decision to just overlook the song. Their mental health, the position in the industry they keep so hard working on (and let's be real, the economic success they've reached) really isn't worth it. The song is there for us all to enjoy and someday, perhaps, once they have also healed that part of their careers, and are willing to share the song with us, we can enjoy a performance.

When you started going to school in the mornings he would notice your eye bags from all the nights you couldn’t sleep. He also noticeed that you were relying on green tea or in any other sources that contained caffeine like Monster energy drinks to get through the tough day. Since he has a soft spot for you he would ask “what are those grey things under your eyes dumass!?”

The first day you told him “ooo don’t worry I just stayed all night long looking for Yarichin bitclub and I finally found it so I decided to watch it for the amazing opening , guess I got lost on the time.”Then the other days that this happened you would brush it off every day telling him “I am ok I just couldn’t sleep last night” and continued your new daily rutine. You just didn’t want to bring him into your own problems and overall you didn’t want to bother him,Since he was already busy with school and stuff.

When this continued for several weeks and close to months and he noticed that you were closed to zombie like in the tough insurance training and you weren’t as energetic and overall you he SANPED.

“Ok idiot you are sleeping in my dorm tonight!” You where shocked that he was so straight forward with what he just said. “ But Tsuki I am alright I don’t have to go to sleep to your dorm, I will be alright don’t worry about me.” The blond boy wasn’t going to fall for your cheap old lie that you have been saying for a couple of weeks now.

The day came to an end and you where chilling with the girls in the common room when they all said that it was late and they were going to bed. You all said goodnight when suddenly Bakugo appeared and dragged you to his room and locked the door. “ Tsuki what are you doing?” He just stared at you and then he said “ I am helping you sleep dumbass, what else would be doing?”

You turned the lights off and said good night to your lovely boyfriend. He looks so cute when he is sleeping. You were admiring his features and then soon you found yourself sleeping.

You woke up you thought that you had slept around 8 ours and it was time to get up and get ready for school. You tilted your head too see the time and it was 12:03 AM you were disappointed you went to bed at 9 pm you had only slept 3 hours! You stared at the ceiling for a couple of minutes but for you it felt like years.

“ Can’t sleep idiot?” a sleepy voice said. “ Hmm... wait Tsuki how did you now? Did I wake you up I am so sorry baby.” Bakugo sensed that you were awake “ I just new that you were awake,ok” he asked questions about what you usually do when you wake up at night. “ I usually try to fall back asleep but it seem impossible to do that, so I just talk to my friends on discord until I fall back to sleep from the tiredness.”

Bakugo wanting you to fall back to sleep he activated his explosive quirk and heated his hands just a tiny bit and placed them on your tummy. It felt so nice and warm to have his hands warming you up. Then he did something that he would be extremely ashamed if anyone found out. He started cuddling you your back was pressed against his build chest. That is a side of him that only you can get to see. He also started humming a sweet lullaby to help you.

You felt so warm and special, soon your eyes were closing. When you opened your eyes again you saw light coming from the window. You did it! You sleept through the night like a normal high school student! He heard little snores from your sleeping boyfriend. Gosh he looked so damm cute that you managed to get out of his grip and grasp your phone to take a cute picture of him. You were definitely making that your phone wallpaper. You also noticed that you had 50+ notifications from your friends. You where definitely reading that later to catch up with the discord chat.

When Bakugo woke up you booth got ready for school. The weekend came and Your sweet ass boyfriend had bought you one of those cute animal plushies that you put them on the microwave so they are nice and warm when you go to bed. He just tossed that seal plushy into your dorm room. When you opened the doorm you saw the plushie. You new exactly from who that came from. This amazing boyfriend that you have dear reader noticed at the moment you first started drinking Monater energy drinks . He went to goggle to see if he could figure out something for his tiered S/O. Since we all now that he isn’t the smartest he left that aside for a while. You told him that you were heading to bed and Kirishima did the same.

The clock hit 2:38 AM you were wide awake, you tossed and turned trying to fall back asleep. You soon gave up so you started watching complications of Nikocado Avacado and Orrin fighting because the night was long and honestly that hopeless couple mad you laugh so hard. You could spend hours just watching them fighting because it was so funny 🤣.

Your boyfriend couldn’t sleep either thinking about you. So he decided to go and chek on you and see if you were sleeping but he new that you were wide awake because his boyfriend instinct told him that. You both got ready for school and stuff. Kirishima is the type of boyfriend that buys you cute gifts because he thinks it is manly and most importantly because he thinks that you would like them. So this time your gift was a 14 pound weight blanket that was a lovely grey color.

When it was the weekend he came into your room with the blanket. You let him into your room and asked “bub why do you have that blanket?” He placed it down on your bed “since you have trouble sleeping I thought that this might help pebble.” You rushed to him and gave him a hug and a sweet kiss on the lips “thank you so much Kirishima you are the best! Also I love the gift.” Then you spent the rest of the evening enjoying each other.

🔥 fave & least fave stranger things season and why?

Oooh this is so hard I love it.

Favorite: Season 4 (and not just because of recency bias lmao). I love that we delved into more of the lore of the Upside Down and also got more answers, and I liked a large majority of the storylines. A lot of season 4 was obviously a set-up for season 5, which I honestly don’t mind, because I’m really excited to see where certain storylines go! I think there were a lot of great callbacks this season, and seeing just how much these kids have grown and how much these characters love each other was just really nice to see, and reminded me a lot of what I loved about season 1 - except that now we also have the benefit of having watched these characters grow over the course of 4 seasons.

While I do have criticisms from this season, I loved watching it and I had a lot of fun (and tears lmao) the entire time, I think characters like Max and Lucas were given a lot of time to fully shine (and Lucas especially is so heavily underrated so I really loved this, even if I have some crit!), you get to see the town actually more involved and see what people are thinking about the seasons of crazy shit that’s been going on in their town. Like I mentioned before a lot of what I loved about this season are things I loved about season 1 (ironically enough bc my second favorite season isn’t even season 1 but season 2 lmaooo) but it feels even more satisfying for me because we know these characters really really well at this point.

Least favorite: Season 3, hands down. This isn’t like, a bad season by any means - again I did very much have fun when watching, and I think now with season 4 being out it’s rectified a lot of things I didn’t love about this season. But when I had watched, I’m sorry to these kiddos, love them sm, couldn’t care less about their romances (except for Lumax and even then that was more season 4 when I got invested). The Russian subplot is a biiiit overly fantastical even for this show and I felt like out of all the seasons it contributes the least to the overall plot of the Upside Down? As well as the…everything about Billy, I well and truly hated the idea of them trying to redeem him, and it very very much ruined Karen Wheeler for me, because her trying to get with a high schooler? And on top of that a high schooler who is?? Her daughter’s age?? That’s gross lmao I don’t care how much they tried to play that off as not creepy, even if she didn’t go through with it.

That being said there were some top notch moments in this season and the way season 4 wrote Max’s feelings re: Billy and his death made me feel a LOT better about that storyline. And of course for the romances that’s just. Not my thing lmao but I like it in terms of, the kids are balancing friendships vs their first serious relationships and don’t know how to do that. Like again I still really liked this season and the aesthetics of it are beautiful it’s just also the one I had the most issues with. Kudos for that being the only season to not have a Stoncy love triangle though lmao

A = Attractive (What do they find attractive about the other?)

Miguel loves your smile. He’s a funny guy and he thinks your smile lights up a room so he makes it his mission to make you laugh as much as possible. If you have some crooked teeth, he thinks it’s adorable. Also, looking at your smile makes him think about your lips which just makes him want to kiss you.

B = Baby (Do they want a family? Why/Why not?)

Yes, after he gets a stable job. He would love kids but he doesn’t want to be like his dad and end up abandoning his family so he would make extra sure he could support the child and you and makes a conscious effort to be there for his family no matter what. Asking about their day, being involved in their sports/clubs/hobbies, making snacks when they have friends over. He just wants to be the Cool Dad ™ and would probably try to teach them karate before they could even sit up.

C = Cuddle (How do they cuddle?)

He loves to have you sit between his legs and lean back against his chest so he can wrap his arms around you and make sure you’re always safe and warm. It’s the perfect position for movies, video games, deep conversations, baths. He will also often come up behind you at a party and hold you like this if someone is hitting on you or if you look uncomfortable or bored. He can whisper little jokes in your ear or kiss you on the cheek.

D = Dates (What are dates with them like?)

He loves fun dates. You both have always found fancy dinner dates really awkward. He likes something where you guys can move around, do activities, and just let loose. The go-to’s are usually mini golf, the arcade, the zoo, or just a nice picnic in the park. He often gets you little gifts before dates, though, like flowers, a stuffed animal, or a cool rock he found. His Yaya taught him never to show up for a date empty handed. And he’s a total gentleman, never making you uncomfortable or rushing things. Miguel keeps his hands to himself unless instructed otherwise.

You are my sunshine. As cheesy as it is, Miguel sees you as the shining light in his life. You make everything better, whether that’s an injury, a bad day at school, or losing a fight at training. He knows he can always go to you and be distracted by your beautiful smile.

F = Feelings (When did they know they were in love?)

Miguel first knew he was in love with you when you met his family for the first time. They invited you over for dinner one night and he told you his Yaya didn’t speak much english, so you asked him to teach you some spanish so you could talk with her. It wasn’t perfect, you made lots of grammar mistakes and really only said a couple sentences to her, but the effort you made combined with the smile on Yaya’s face made him fall absolutely head-over-heels.

If you already speak spanish, it would be seeing you talk with his Yaya and joke around with her over dinner.

G = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?)

The most gentle boy on the face of the Earth. Like I said earlier, Miguel keeps his hands to himself unless you tell him otherwise. The first time you guys kiss, he barely moves a muscle. You had to grab his hands and put them on your waist. Even now, when he’s teaching you karate, he refuses to hit or grab you, so you honestly don’t really learn anything lol and if you’re sick or sleeping, he’s like a feather, so scared to disturb you. It’s like touching a kitten honestly

H = Hands (How do they like to hold hands?)

All. The. Time. He’s not too big on PDA, except for hand-holding. This is how he lets everyone know you’re taken without seeming possessive or gross. Miguel will grab your hand at the mall, at school, while y’all are cuddling, at the beach, literally whenever you’re in arm’s reach from him, he’s holding your hand.

I = Impression (What was their first impression?)

Miguel’s first impression of you is that you’re this bright ray of sunshine. He’s drawn to you like a magnet. Your eyes, your smile, your laugh! And when he finally works up the nerve to say hi (Strike first!) he thinks his heart might actually melt. When you actually laugh at the joke he makes and hold out your hand to introduce yourself, he turns bright red and can barely speak omfg this poor boy. But luckily you think it’s sweet and keep talking to him.

J = Jealousy (Do they get jealous?)

He did at first, we’ve all seen how he acts with Sam and Robby, but you lay down the law. You have to tell him that it’s not cool, it makes people uncomfy, and then he finally starts to work on it. Now he’s better. He still feels jealous sometimes, but he trusts you and can control himself a bit more.

K = Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?)

So your first kiss. You were giving him The Look for like 10 minutes straight and he never made a move. He just stared at you. So you had to be the first one to actually lean in, but once you did, he met you halfway. His kisses match his personality. Sweet, gentle, and goofy, but with a more dominant, aggressive side if you know how to bring it out ;)

L = Love (Who says ‘I love you’ first?)

He did. After you had dinner with his family and he realized he loved you, he told you almost immediately. This boy just wears his heart on his sleeve. He was walking you home and when you got to your house and turned around to kiss him goodnight, he had a funny look on his face. When you asked him what was wrong he kind of went ILOVEYOU! Really fast and you had to make him say it again slower because you thought he had a stroke or smth lmaooo but once he took a deep breath and said it more clearly, you jumped on him and kissed his whole face and said it back a hundred times.

M = Memory (What’s their favourite memory together?)

When he first introduced you to Sensei Lawrence. He thought Sensei was gonna be super mean and make fun of you, but turns out you guys had a lot in common. You loved 80’s rock music, and responded to his sass with even more sass. Johnny almost couldn’t believe Miguel was able to get such a cool babe. You guys all had lunch after taking a tour of the dojo, and it was a super fun day! You all drove around in Johnny’s car with the windows down listening to Guns ‘n Roses.

N = Nickel (Do they spoil? Do they buy the person they love everything?)

Miguel spoils you in his own little way. His family isn’t as fortunate as others, but he still finds ways to make you feel special. Instead of a diamond necklace, he gives you a cool rock he found outside and cleaned up. Instead of taking you to expensive restaurants, he spends all day cooking with Yaya to make a nice picnic for you guys to have on the beach. And he saves up to buy you nice gifts for your birthday or anniversary.

Rose gold. You’re so beautiful to him and have this natural charm that everyone falls for. You’re so radiant and yet soft and unique. He just love love loves you.

80’s rock music. He learns to love it through Sensei Lawrence. He even saves up to buy a record player so he can feel more connected to the past.

Build blanket forts, cuddle, bake cookies, he might even let you put makeup on him if you ask nice.

Umm, karate! Duh lol the boy is obsessed with it. Also superhero movies, video games, his day, he’s honestly kind of a rambler. He can talk about anything and everything if he’s nervous enough. Let’s not forget the gas station scene in season 1…

His new muscles. Ever since joining Cobra Kai, he’s gotten pretty ripped and now it’s a struggle to get him to keep his shirt on. He worked hard for that body, he wants people to see how good he looks!

W = Wedding (When, how, where do they propose?)

After college, he takes you on a hike up to this ridge overlooking a lake. It’s fall, the leaves are changing colors, and there’s no one around. You guys have been holding hands the whole time, but his hand is super sweaty even though it’s like 50 degrees out. You guys finally get to the top of the ridge and he grabs both your hands and tells you all the things he loves about you. This boy basically recites your whole love story, and as soon as he sticks his hand in his pocket you know what’s going on. He barely even got the box out of his pocket before you were jumping on him screaming Yes! You guys fell to the ground and he stopped you so he could officially get the words out. You were both crying, it was very beautiful.

No but on a serious note, this has to be one of the hottest and most aesthetically pleasing videos ever 😔

First of all, I always love a good use of a fisheye lense, idk what it is about it but that just makes my heart tingle everytime someone uses it in their art. I think I love the way it distorts a human's face whilst still keeping it recognizable. Or maybe I love it because I know how close a person has to come to the camera to get the desired distortion effect. It's almost like a step into one's personal space, but because their faces are so distorted it doesn't feel intimitating. Love it, honestly I could shoot an entire movie in that style (which would probably look very stupid, but a girl can dream hahahah)

Then second of all BI-LIGHTING OMFG 🙌🏻 in this household we love the use of a good pink, purple and blue colour scheme. First of all because I think that colour combination is so pretty and second of all B I 😔 that's it that's my second point. 🙌🏻 Bisexuality 🙌🏻

And I really loved the use of light and colour in general. I love how they used bright, colourful lights for most of the video. When they were illuminated by green light in front of the red background for example or all the shots when they were glowing red in front of the skyblue background (which by the way, amazing use of warm/cold contrast, which was very popular in Symbolism so whoever is the little art history nerd in Maneskin I see you 👀).

But then they included the parts in front of the black background with a perfectly placed portrait light. It gives the viewer a short break of the excess of colour and gives the eyes a chance at focussing on the artist at hand. This is also supported by the black background. The human eye looks for the brightest spot on a painting/photograph or in this case video automatically and by using a black background and shining the light on the artist, the eye can't help but be drawn to them.

Now most of the "kinky scenes" were shot in said portrait light, which honestly makes me smile because Maneskin bascially makes the viewer look. They don't hide their kinky selves behind colourful lights and fast camera movements, no they shine lights on the act, they want the viewer to pay attention to it almost as if they want to say "yeah we're kinky what about it?" and I think that is a very beautiful mindset.

And here I am drifting off far too much afhdshfha lisTEN I love talking about stuff like that, you can't even imagine. You just opened my Pandora's box hahfhdsh.

I also really loved the low angled shots they did, when they were standing on the glass. Now, looking up at something or someone makes the human brain feel inferior and intimitated by said object. Little story time, but we had a whole class about how angles can change the emotional affect a depicted person or object can have on the person. Let's say one has to take a portrait of a person in power. Those portraits are shot from a slight low angle most of the times as to give the person a higher, powerful standing. When used well it can make the depicted person look powerful and trustworthy to the viewer, when used poorly it can make the depicted person look arrogant and contemptuous to the viewer.

I loved how Maneskin basically looked down at us the viewers (if not even stomped all over the viewer, which again kinky fjsjdjf). No but on a serious note. While they still looked down at the viewer it never felt arrogant. I found it to be very playful actually. Dressed in soft pastel pinks they danced and had fun, bending down to the viewer occassionally to let them know that they were very aware of their voyeristic presence. They told the viewer that "yeah we're here, we're the boss right now but you know that it's all in good fun, don't you?" and I think that is something beautiful lmaooo

Also to end it off, because I can feel my fingers tingling in the need to write a 500k words essay about the MV and still have to water my plants today jsjs, I also really loved the use of retro effects. What a terrible word sjjss, effects, but I think you know what I mean. I loved how they made some of their parts of the video (the colourful ones most of the time) look like they were shot with an older camera model. I love it when videographers do that because I am a sucker for the old look, both in videography and in photography.

And now to actually end it jfjsjdf, in conclusion I fcking loved the music video. I loved the use of light and colour as well as the cleverly placed moments where the viewer could take a breather. I loved how playful and flirty they were and that you as a viewer could really feel that they had fun whilst shooting. My favourite part was Ethan and Damiano making out and Victoria spitting on Ethan jsjsjs. Also especially loved Thomas being tied up and that whole body licking montage in the yellow/pink lighting.

10/10 video and I will now yell in bisexuality 💝💜💙

Fav wtfock s3 things: honestly I could go on for hours about my love for this season it’s One of my favorite things to exist in the entire world. I have re-watched it so many times and it always leaves me feeling so happy. Some specifics: Robbe IJzermans, sweet sunshine, love and light of my life, I would throw myself in front of traffic for that boy I love him so much. He captured my heart in a way few ever have. This boy. He’s just such a caring and compassionate person. He’s got his little shit attitude, and he’s definitely a tiny brat, but he is also so full of love to give. I love that he’s not flashy. He’s not somebody that a lot of people are going to notice in a crowd. He’s overlooked by everyone, including his friends. But when you get to know him you see how remarkable he is, because few people are that genuinely good. And the way he grew from hurt and lonely and angry and afraid to happy and confident and not only accepting but proud of who he is makes me cry happy tears. He’s just the best. But the other best is the yin to his yang, his beautiful, wonderful, cool, bold, funny, sweet, and completely dorky art hoe of a soul mate, Sander Driesen. When I think of what my ideal Even would be, he is it. His heart is just right there for everyone to see and he doesn’t hide it. In fact he’s extra about showing it. He’s also vulnerable and needy and feels so very young to be going through such large struggles. He makes me laugh and cry and I would dive in front of the Skam France car for him as well. Love that kid so much. Sobbe. Do I really need to say it? Holy shit they are everything. Soulmates, best friends, loves of each other’s lives. Their chemistry is so good that it doesn’t even exist in this stratosphere. It’s otherworldly. The love that they feel for each other is tangible. They’re one of those couples that when I look at them I think “now those two are going to make it”. You can just feel it. They also somehow manage to hit on so many beloved fanfic tropes but remain realistic because it’s actually canon. Like when couples in fanfic will call each other pet names but it’s rare you actually see it in canon. But sobbe is like hold my beer and goes all out with it. The way they express their love to each other is exactly what the other one needs. Sander is loud end boisterous and goes all out to make it clear to Robbe and everyone else on earth how he feels about this boy. He gives him things to make him feel special and he’s full of affection for him. Robbe is also extremely affectionate, he tells Sander what he needs to hear to feel safe and loved and they love spending time together. Their love is a balm for one another that soothes them both. And it’s clear that neither of them need the other more nor ever did. They both needed one another and met at a time in our lives that they were both in pretty low places and were exactly what the other needed. And they always will be. Sorry, getting emotional again. They’re the otp to end all otps. 🥺 The Soundtrack. I love every single song on the soundtrack. All of them, and I listened to the soundtrack so much on my Spotify that my entire top songs of 2020 were made up of wtfock s3 songs. They not only have excellent musical choices, but they are all placed within scenes so well that they perfectly complement what is happening in the narrative at any given point. Casa Milan and Zoenne and Robbe aka Flatshare Fam. I want to live there. It is so warm, it is so inviting, and it is filled with such love. The support that Robbe got from Milan, Zoë, and Senne was unmatched. I don’t know where he would’ve been without it. Could you imagine if he had had to live with his dad? How differently his story could’ve ended up? Especially with Milan, having someone not much older than he is who has gone through a lot of the same things he has. He was such a big brother figure and mentor and I’m so glad Robbe had that.

Or really anytime Robbe is being a clingy koala. And we can’t forget his hug with Milan after he tells him about the attack. He really needed that comfort.

Fav 21:21: Nope. Nah in all seriousness they just hit different. Woensdag is my favorite in terms of clip alone because from beginning to end it is just so beautiful and perfect. The music, the tunnel, the pool, the kiss, just absolutely gorgeous. But at that time everything was still really new between them and the aftermath of that was rough. Vrijdag is my favorite clip in terms of what it means for Robbe and Sander. The clip itself is shorter, but it has much larger impact in terms of sobbe’s relationship. It’s not just their first time physically, but their emotional declaration to one another as well. It comes with a commitment. Also them falling off the bed laughing is the greatest thing ever. They are so HAPPY. So basically my answer is both, just in different ways.

Fav Sobbe instagram pic: Why are all these questions so mean? Okay- their first one together obviously because along with Robbe’s caption it’s just a showing of their love being official. But also the grocery cart pics for their 6 month anniversary. The grocery store pic in Ardennes getaway. Robbe’s bday pics of them embracing they’re SO HAPPY omg. But I have two more that are not at all happy clips but are two of my fave clips regardless: life on mars/zaterdag 21:43 (that scene is impeccable along with its followup which I consider them a pair but LoM only plays in the first one) and I found/zondag 15:12 (my god I love that scene it’s brilliant).

Fav message between Sander and Robbe: Woensdag 12:45 when Sander sends Robbe the sketch of them and talks about that kiss earlier being Chernobyl. Also everything during wtfockdown but especially “I love you so much Robin.” “I love you too. So damn much.” But honestly they had so much adorable banter during those clips we were truly fed.
