Finding James curled up on the floor in the room of Requirements was not something Regulus ever got used to.

His sun hidden by thick clouds of sadness broke his heart.

"Mon amour, what's wrong" the black haired whispered while kneeling down to embrace his lover. After the months together he knew physics touch is something James needed right now- who is he do deny the sun?

"I just-" James began in between his tears. "I feel like I'm letting everyone down".

"My love, you know that's not true"

"but-" James began before quickly being interrupted.

"Mon amour, tu es le solei. You are incapable of hurting anyone. You love with your whole soul, know they love you back"

James didn't respond with words, he hid from the world in Regulus' embrace and that was enough.

They eventually moved from the floor after their joints began to grow painful and stiff. But even then, they never left their little bubble away from the worldly troubles.

Here, it was just Regulus and James. An uncanny couple that fit together like a puzzle piece. Complicated and challenging, but together as one.
