It was always strange, no matter how many times he heard it. Dick knew he didn't need to apologize, knew that reaching out for help didn't need an apology, but it still felt weird to hear it. It felt weird to do it, weird and wrong; some part of him insisted that he should be handling this himself, handling it better, and not dragging Jason into so inconsequential a problem as this. Because it was inconsequential, wasn't it? It was so minor compared to other shit he'd dealt with…nothing had even happened, for fuck's sake!

And yet here he was, having to focus not to curl in on himself as he sat down, willing his hands to go around the mug of tea rather than grip the borrowed shirt he was wearing. There was no reason this should have messed him up so badly, he ought to be better than this, goddammit.

Dick tried to focus on the tea rather than the night's events, taking in the warmth of the mug in his hands, the scent of chamomile, the vaguely watery bitterness as it hit his tongue. It was grounding, reminding him that this was in fact his body, that those senses belonged to him and not someone whose eyes he happened to be looking through right now. His body. His mind. And Jason's voice, coming from the next chair over.

He glanced over, now taking in the closed laptop on the table. Had he interrupted Jason at work? Maybe, but Jason didn't seem to mind much. The question was met with a slight shrug, Dick looking down into his cup rather than meet Jason's eyes. "…Not much to talk about," he said quietly. "I got surprised with being part of the auction at that fundraiser last week and…the date was tonight. She, uh. Had an itinerary, and. It…went okay, I guess."

Dick's hands tightened on his cup, just enough to notice. "Didn't…end so well, though. Slammed the door in my face, and…I didn't really know where to go, and…kind of just…ended up here…" He knew he'd left some important details out, but what was he supposed to say? He'd panicked because she'd kissed him? Had just frozen completely because she'd tried to make out with him and grabbed his ass? It was stupid.

During the time Dick showered, Jason was in the kitchen, making the two of them some tea and placing a few of his homemade cookies on a plate for Dick to eat if he wanted to. He turned to look over to the bathroom's direction every once in a few minutes just to make sure he didn't miss Dick calling and that everything was okay, but didn't bother him otherwise, knowing just how much long, hot showers helped ease the mind.

He also brought out his computer, using this brief time to access street cameras' footage and retrace Dick's steps. He wasn't really sure Dick would be willing to talk about what happened, let alone with him, but that wouldn't stop him from finding out who or what hurt him. Jason's work was swift, as he'd done this many times and Dick didn't exactly appear to be in state to keep his path a secret. Just from watching him through the camera footage told Jason he was already out of it when he was on his way here.

Just as he was about to locate the address where Dick made his journey over here, the bathroom's door unlocked and Dick stepped outside. Jason looked up and quickly closed the laptop, sitting at the table with his gaze fixated on the man. He already looked a lot more focused than before, which was already a slight relief.

His relief soon switched to a soft frown at Dick's words, and he shook his head. "No, none of that, Dick. You have nothing to apologize for, and I'm not going to hear it either." he insisted, though his tone wasn't as harsh as it would usually be. He got up and walked over to pull out a chair for Dick so he could sit down at the table as well, going back to his seat once he did.

He poured Dick some tea once he was sitting down, sliding the cup over his way. "I can tell." Jason muttered as Dick mentioned he had a rough night. Should he even ask? Would Dick even talk? Eh, may as well offer.

"... Do you want to talk about it?" it was an offer, but in no way did he press him to speak about it if he had no desire to. Jason would still be here to comfort him, regardless.

Yippee, turns out doing max non-elite solo isn't too bad, my rolls were kinda garbo (for my builds, I know mirage can do WORK but mine has nothing invested lol), but I was able to squeak by solo.

What kinda sucks is unless elite does something MEGA UNFAIR, this roll could do max elite solo I think- but I don't feel like it, so I miss out on the ship deco for the time being.

Also is mirage still bugged here? I don't believe I got damage on my eclipse a single time. Oh my god they finally gave it the QOL update it deserved and I didn't know lmaooooo

I made that harder than it needed to be by using tap cast the whole time. The disruption mission was annoying since my damage was so low and it was all my fault x.x

Deeps seem kinda neat. I'm not the BIGGEST fan of being forced to activate all the rolls to unlock elites or get the ship nose piercing, but I'm alright with one time annoyances like that.

After I get the elite max run done, solo or not (probably solo knowing me), I won't /have/ to ever do it again and I can just do elites with whatever gets me the reward tier I want, I think.

I'm pretty sure you get at least 1 point to play with in order to do an elite and get the highest non vosfor reward and I think that's enough to still have fun, we'll see lol

❀ Significant Moment Solo ❀ In which Arin practices harder than usual because she was previously scolded. ❀ Word Count: 701 words

          A few days before, Arin had gotten a scolding from the dance instructor for messing up on the choreography. No, she didn’t hate the woman, nor did she think that the instructor was being unfair towards her. She had messed up and that was something she owned up to no matter what. Yeah, she was still feeling a little down about the whole incident, despite her fellow trainees telling her it was ‘okay’, but she just had to work even harder to make them not regret having confidence in her. She had to do better and she knew that.

            With this in mind, Arin stares at her reflection in the mirror. She’s breathing heavily, sweat dripping down while her hair sticks to her face. She’s been at this for the past couple hours, not really satisfied with herself each time she does the choreography. It’s not good enough for her. She’s determined to get this right before the deadline that was given to them no matter what. “You can do it, Arin!~” She tells herself this while nodding at her own reflection, pumping herself up and giving herself the motivation to keep trying.

             Arin could have easily asked someone to help with the choreography, to show her how she was still messing it up on some parts, though she wanted to do this on her own. She wanted to manage things herself without relying on others and being a burden to them. As the music starts over on the radio, Arin moves her body once again, knowing very well that she’ll most likely end up being sore the next day but she doesn’t care. Her determination is getting the best of her right now and she only has one thing in mind as she dances. Getting it right. She wonders what her brother would think if he saw her like this. Wonders if he would step in and try to stop her, tell her that she’s overworking herself once again. Maybe even offer to help?

            Just thinking about that makes her focus more on the dance moves. This would be something he wouldn’t find out about, well not until the documentary aired on Netflix, by then it would be too late to do anything because it would already be done. She just hoped that after today, before the show did end up airing, he wouldn’t see her like this. See her all exhausted and wore out from spending so long on practicing the same thing over and over again.

           Once she’s run through the choreography a few more times, Arin finally stops. Dropping to her knees as she finally feels her legs give out on her, she lets out a heavy sigh as she tries to catch her breath. Her legs felt like jelly by this point and she felt like she wanted to just take a nap for a while. She hears a voice speak, breaking her from the little trance she was in and looks in the direction of where the voice came from. Smiling, she shakes her head in response when one of the people from the filming crew asks if she needs anything while looking concerned for the young girl. “No, thank you. I’m alright!~” Despite being exhausted she still manages to be cheerful while responding to the other female.

            Arin knows her own limits, knows when she’s had enough and her body is done. Yes, today she did push herself a little more than usual, though she knew she was fine and would only be sore by tomorrow but also knew that it would pass with the right treatment. She finally allows herself to look up at the clock and blinks a few times at the time as she realizes that it’s actually a little later than she had expected it to be. With that, she slowly stands up and moves some hair out of her face before she begins packing her things up and finally walks out of the practice room for the night. She felt more confident now in being able to pass this time and couldn’t wait to show the dance instructor just how hard she had worked to not let them down.

if there weren’t a reason for him to visit this event, he would have just stayed at home. but since he intended to buy something, he had to go. dressed in black, he waited in a row to get inside, swiping over his phone as he inched forward slowly. the closer he came to the premises, the bigger the crowd got. while looking around, he noticed countless couples happily walking hand in hand. kang joon rolled his eyes, as he turned away. lovey dovey couples these days made him sick, he wasn’t envious exactly, the contract bounded him after all. but loneliness was his daily companion these days. 

as he finally entered the hall, he was welcomed by big decorated sculptures and sweet, alluring scents. he pulled down the cap, his amber coloured eyes scanned the surroundings, watched what was happening around him. when he found a stall that looked interesting enough, he moved closer, his head tilted. there were only a few days left until white day. he felt the need to buy some chocolate for yooa who had thought about him for valentine’s. 

the chocolatier worked with ease, formed the warm chocolate, showed off his amazing skills. a tingle moved down his spine, as kang joon kept on staring at the flowing sweet gold. the scent was amazing, and he couldn’t look away from the flying hands. slowly a flower was created and the male knew this was what he was looking for. seemed like his quest had been completed.

1:25 - Ahhh, I needed something uplifting this morning. I remember the last half of the session was just all angst. And I expect I’ll be angsted at at some point but for now, uplifting, I’ll take it!

1:37 - You tell ‘em Weiss! :D I mean, I know the season will end with all your independence ripped away from you but, at least you can enjoy it for now...

Topp Dogg Miami FanAccount 20150207

You have to understand I've been following ToppDogg since debut for a year now, and only was able to see them from afar, on the computer screen. In-front of monitor and silently cheering and buying their albums to give them the little support I could. These 12 boys are so talented, + underdogg

I got to the concert hall around 7:00 to give myself time to buy merch and grab my VVIP wrist band. (High touch _+ fan signing *cough$200cough* )

I bought myself 2 light sticks and 2 button sets ^^ ( 1 set for me and 1 set for a friend )

Then I headed for the concert, I had met a few other ToppKlass. WHICH SO MANY TOPPKLASS ARE PRETTY AF AND SO NICE OMG! Like no, stop that.

I was in the fourth row, so I am pretty damn close to the front. 

Finally 7:35 and lights go down and fucking everyone goes crazy omg, I was like AKHSGASKJDALSKFJLSKDFJSDLJGFDGK 

So the stage lights up and here comes these 12 perfect boys, they where fucking shining in my eyes. It was so unreal I couldn't believe it was happing, I started to tear up and I wanted to cry so hard that there were all here and I could believe it. They started with Annie and I just, that's their anniversary song and it makes me emotional as a ToppKlass. They also reached the top on the charts with Annie so it's a big deal. They played another song and then they had did introductions. 

After everyone said something and we all would scream it was so loud... but so amazing. 

The MC asked them what they where in charge of tonight. 

Hansol: (shaking his hips) "I'm in charge of sexiness tonight."

They did a few more songs, and then we had the fan x members interactions. No I didn't called up, that's ok. I'm happy for the ToppKlass that did get called tho!

So they played this game where they had to stand on the paper and it would get smaller and smaller and you would have to dance on it, so they had Nakta and Gohn play this and Gohn was basically humping Nakta, and Nakta was like I'm not having this shit ok... and at the end Nakta was on Gohns back it was so cute. Jesus.

They did more songs after they did the fan thing, and it was just amazing. The rapper line was on point. Yano and Kidoh had killed it. The dancing was great, Wizard lines Solo dances was fucking amazing.

I think my favorite songs were Peekaboo and Arario and Kidohs/Jenissi Solo. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING.

So they also had breaks between stuff and this is where they did the Cam Videos. Hansols was so cute he got so scared he squealed and flew across the room, it was great. Gohn and Jenissi had a bad potty mouth... tho.

We got to this one point where they where on stage, and was hella taking pictures of Xero and I waved AND HE LOOKS RIGHT AT ME A WAVES BACK OMG ASDFGHJKL... I DIED. It was around this time he waved at me x.x

The whole concert was amazing, also when PGoon was shaking them hips when they did talk dirty too me, that was great. 

So after the concert (I know I left out a lot of stuff, but everything is a bit blurry) I had the fan signing and high touch so. I walking up to PGoon first.

Me: (to PGoon) You're so handsome.

PGoon: ... *looks confused*

Me: Handsome~

PGoon: Oh~ LAIR!

Jenissi: HAHAHAHAHA (Jenissi was next to him at the time)

Me: *cries on the inside*

It was mostly just high-five, thank you, we were getting seriously rushed so I could barely say thank you to them, ugh...

Me: (to Hansol) You're so cute~~

Hansol: *cheeky smile* You're so gorgeous~

Me: No............. *awkward, walks away*

More high-fives as I get rushed.

Me: (to Sangdo as he high-fives me) You're so nice ;_;

Sangdo: *cutest smile blush omg thingie*

Sangdo: *high-fives me again*

Xero also squeezed my hand tightly, and omg I died...

Me: (to Bjoo) Y-You're my b-bias......

So I decided to wait outside for them to go on the tour bus, I had waited for like an hour in the back and finally they got on and it was so cute! They all waved and A-Tom giving so much fan service he was waving and dancing and he was just so cute omg. Then they left and I was hella sad :( I want to see them so bad again, I hope they come back I will buy another ticket. So that so far is my favorite night, I love ToppDogg so much you should check them out! Really their super funny and nice and talented and deserve more credit.

Soooooo I never expected the downfall to happen like this. I mean peeps going around calling him a racist. I'd risk saying that right now they are not disillusioned, it's more of the image of Benny being completely shattered. And that's all only cuz of the twin flame association being pushed up everyone's ass. Wait till they find out his own misstepies.

I don't wanna say it's mostly the new-ish babes (the ones who joined upon Shadow Daddy's popularity) but yeeee I think loads of them are the ones screaming the loudest rn. Actually funny thingy is that since Shadow and Bone me Daddy his fanbase did shift a lil and the new fans were not babying him like certain peeps from the made up land of idk Germania (similarities to real life are coincidental). Look no further than the ♥️ incident over christmas.

Everyone here knows that I have ma own problems with the bastard and I honestly thought that some I had higher up ma list will be the downfall of his. Turns out it's only one and a half of them - his lil frenship with ye know who coupled with his performative activism. I knew that twin flaming would turn fans against him but I would not have guessed the scale and the ben barnes racist autofill.

Ye know I've seen peeps being like, I never heard a bad thingy about Benny before this, and immma here like ?????? alrighty ye probably never heard bad thingy cuz ye blocked me 🧚🏻‍♀️

Wanna One In San Jose Fan Account~

So, now that it's after the concert, and I'm feeling all sorts of things, here's my highlights/what I remember from the concert! I’ll split this itno parts. So I put the stuff about the boys and the concert first (since that’s probably what ppl are interested in, lol), and then things from the rest of my day like lining up, meeting mutuals, getting freebies, giving out freebies, etc. ^^

Also note: I’m leaving this concert even more confused as to the order of Ong, Daniel, and Jisung in my biases, like it’s all a mess now OTL

Concert Highlights

So security was kind of strict about video. Like I know a lot are floating around, but they stopped ppl from taking pics and filming a lot. I was unlucky because I was maybe like one row from the front, but the security guard stood right in front of me and always looking in my direction so I couldn’t pull out my phone... or I was too chicken, so I wasn’t able to take any video or pics. ;; Sorry ;;

I’m also... short, so it was hard to see at times unfortunately ;;

I was situated near the bridge tothe extended stage on the left side. I had started off with maybe 4 rows of ppl in front of me, but eventually found myself only one row from the bridge to the extended stage section o.o I got to see the boys walking by a lot. 

Speaking of, the boys spent more time on the extended stage than I thought. Jihoon, Daehwi, Jinyoung, and sometimes Woojin, Jaehwan and Guanlin spent a lot of time on the left side. I believe Minhyun was too but on the actual extended stage (?)

Additionally, Jisung usually walked by, but never stood on the left side. However, he would always wave and look at those as he waved and ah... Jisung in person is just... I can’t... he just... he’s got this really kind aura and I’m a mess >< He looked in my direction a couple times, maybe we made eye contact, I’m not sure, but his visuals in person are no joke. All of them are like this, in my opinion though ><

On the topic of Jisung... you guys... DJ Jisung... it was not something I knew I needed, and after this concert, I can’t let it go ;; Jisung looked like he was having soooo much fun DJing and not only that, he looked good doing it. I have lots to say about DJ Jisung, but I’ll keep it brief here. 

I guess since I started with Jisung, I’ll just do fan accounts for each of the boys from here. 

Sungwoon I didn’t get to see often, but my goodness, they were doing aegyo and they had him do puppy aegyo and it was so cute! ;A; 

Also Sungwoon’s vocals are no joke. For  영원+1, his voice was oh so good live >< 

I didn’t get to see Minhyun a lot ;; Most of what I heard from him was from Kim (thank goodness he saw her!) But from what I did see when I was looking around during ments and during ‘갖고 싶’ was that he was looking around at everyone, like looking at all of the fans. He really scanned the audience, it was kind of amazing ><

Also, unsurprising of Minhyun, those visuals in real life are stunning o.o Oh and dat dance solo.... my goodness x.x

Ong ;; So I didn’t get to see Ong often because he spent most of his time on the right side of the stage or, for ments, in the front and to the left, which I was not near. So I don’t have much to say unfortunately. ;; 

But what I can say, is that he really was interacting with all of the fans ;; if they made a heart towards him, he would make it back. If he saw a sign, he would wave. He’s really the sweetest.

Also Ong is super handsome. Like super, super handsome. Idk how he’s expecting me to function from now on, cuz I won’t be able to OTL 

He’s also a bit of a mess in all the right ways though. Like when he forgot to run back to the extended stage for the rest of ‘ 나야나’. He’s adorable, a man after my heart ><

Jaehwannnnnn! Those vocals are AMAZING! They had him singing the beginning of ‘너의 이름을’ without a backtrack and wow, just wow. I can still hear it, it’s so good ><

He was on the left side briefly and was super adorable ;;

So. Daniel. Idk if I can write this without sounding like a mess >< Unfortunately for me, he was also on the right side a lot. So I didn’t get to see him much until the end.

The white confetti at end was INTENSE! I legit thought I almost swallowed some x.x But that was when Daniel walked by and my heart probably stopped momentarily. He was making hearts and what not in my area and it was all so much that I don’t even remember if I made a heart back (I think I did) He just... he’s just...wow o///o

Also somehow, during most of the concert, Daniel’s position was in such a way where, from my vantage point, everyone’s heads framed him so that I could see him clearly ;A; He was probably the one I saw performing the most cuz he was the only one I could see. Daniel’s stage presence is no joke.

I could talk about Daniel’s visuals but I would be a puddle by the end so I won’t ><” I will say that he has a very cool and chill presence to himself. I was a little surprised, but in a good way ^^

Jihoon is a soft child, can I adopt him?! He’s trying so hard to be manlier but it’s making him cuter and it’s so adorable. You know what else is adorable? The bullet below.

I believe that it was during "Always" Jihoon was right in front of me, and I decided to do "내 마음 속에 저장". He was looking directly at me, saw it, and stopped for a second. Maybe he was thinking if he should do it back after promising he wouldn't anymore? Whatever it was his expression was cute xD After a second he finally waved at me >< It was adorable af, like my heart couldn't handle >///< (I AM BOLDING THIS BECAUSE IT WAS SO FREAKING CUTE)

Woojin was also super sweet ;A; He was waving to a lot of fans on the left side and he really looked like he was having fun ;;

Oh and the 2Park dance solo was sooooo good. All of the dance solos were good tbh >< I just can’t comment much cuz it was hard to see ;;

Baejinnnnn ;A; omg... I call him my son a lot, and tbh, after seeing him in person, I feel even prouder of him ;; he spent a lot of time on my side of the stage and was in front of me a couple of times. He was waving to everyone and I think we made eye contact a couple of times. Jinyoung... he really has a very gentle look in his eyes and a gentle aura overall ;; the sweestest boy. ;;

This being said, he was also smack dab right in front of me during the ‘보여’ and... okay Jinyoung, okay O.O He did really well >< Idk what else to say. He’s like my kid ><

Daehwi was so sweet ;A; he spoke in English I believe for the entirety of the concert. >< he also would crouch down and interact with fans ;; Such a sweet boy ;;

Guanlin!!! you guys... that blond hair actually looks really good. I’m always concerned with blond hair, but he looked great! And his dance solo was also nice! ;; He also spoke in english a lot ^^

Equally Important Highlights 

I arrived at about 11am and it wasn't too bad for most lines. The longest line by that time was VIP. I then proceeded to hand out my freebie chibis (thank you everyone that picked one up!) which ended up drawing a larger crowd than expected (sorry staff of the event center! ;;) It was a lot of fun meeting everyone! ya'll were so adorable and hearing ppl call my art cute is... idk how to handle it. I wasn't used to those types of compliments ;;

Also I was so excited to hear people asking for all of the members equally. Like oftentimes it feels like certain members have more fans, but hearing ppl ask for all of them, I... I feel so happy ;;

Thanks to Kim for taking a pic of these for me, cuz your girl goofed and didn’t do it before the concert and they were gone in like 30 mins ><”

Speaking of... I met Kim @nothingwithoutwannaone​, and she is the sweetest. We headed out for some lunch the following day cuz why not XD I had so much fun chilling with you ;; Let me know if you’re ever in the LA area!

I also got to meet @hopesdreamsandalatte and @maybe-spring and they were sooooo cute ;A; I felt like a big sister (which, most probably don’t know, but I’m the baby of my family) so I really wanted to take care of them. They were so full of energy tho, and by that time I was kind of running low on it from being outside for almost 8 hours at that point. So thank you, the both of you for giving me energy again. ^^

I ended up getting a handful of freebies, some of which I ended up in line for accidentally. Like  was standing there and all of a sudden a line would form. My freebie luck was strangely good.. mostly for Ong freebies XD I also got to meet the site masters for WeddingDate and PickOngUp. They were so nice ;;  I also bought a banner from HereToday ;; I unfortunately did not get anything for Daniel because they all went pretty fast ><

Everything on the left was freebies. The items on the right are the slogan pack I bought ^^

So in the end, I had a ton of fun and met a ton of cool people. Wanna One is the group that’s gotten me back into KPop, so thank you to everyone for making the concert a lot of fun! ^^

Wanna One Concert in San Jose 6/21/18

It’s currrently 3:30 am right now, and I can’t sleep until I get my thoughts down.

I'm still reeling from the shock; I saw Wanna One in person, right in front of my eyes. I even made eye contact with Min Hyun, not once but twice? And Ji Hoon? My bias and bias wrecker >///< Ji Sung got quite close as well, and who could not love him?

I only noticed the ringing of my ears when I got home; a consequence of forgetting to bring earplugs. It’s permanent damage, but somehow I can’t bring myself to care.

The night before, I couldn’t sleep, even though my body was telling me it was tired. I spent the time learning fanchants, and only remembered for a few songs during the concert. I had at most 4 hours of sleep, and ended getting to the venue around 10 am.

Siting at the end of the line, I ended up being the 255th VIP. It could have been a bad thing, but it was a good thing. I met the people around me in line, and we ended up sticking together until the sound check and actual concert (because we got to choose which side to stand on).

There were a lot of fansites handing out goodies. Even though I only got a few banners, I gave up on the other goodies. Some fangirls in person are quite scary, I learned. I ended up buying a Min Hyun banner because the one I ordered didn’t come in time. It was probably what helped Min Hyun spot me :)

I met Ashley @ongsung, and she’s just as sweet as she is over tumblr, if not sweeter. And super duper chill :) I’m glad I was able to meet you, and I hope it won’t be the last! I believe you will give your Ong seal to Seong Woo one day! (at KCON LA, yes). ALSO, YOUR PRINTS WE'RE AMAZING. They will be taken cared of well!

The day was cool and chilly, but grew hotter as the time in line increased. Wrist bands were given to us around 1:30-2:00pm. Sound check was at 4:30pm, and lining up for the concert was 6:30pm.

Sound check was nerve racking; I chose the wrong side. Min Hyun always stands on the far right side facing the stage when they stand in a line, but I thought they would be dancing for some reason and chose the left side x.x. It was still amazing to see them sans make-up, with their practice clothes and a face mask here and there. They sang Your Name/I’ll Remember, I Wanna/Gatgo Shipeo, and Wanna Be (My Baby).

After that, I met the admin of the Wanna One San Jose fan project, which was the pink ocean. She gave me a present for donating, so thank you for that!

I met @hopesdreamsandalatte and @maybe-spring before the concert, and you both were adorable :) Thanks for being super excited to meet me, even though I’m not all that special of a person ^^; I hope we can meet again <3

Lining up for the actual concert was nerve-racking. Would my ticket, which I re-bought from another person, work? Would I be able to get a good spot to see Min Hyun, and of course everyone else as a whole? I got in, but that was only the beginning.

I couldn’t get very close, but there was a lot of moving anyway. The pit was not as crowded as I thought, but definitely hard with so many people pushing to be near the front. Being a short person, it didn’t really help that everyone in front of me was tall, and kept holding their banners over their heads.

I ended up staying near the back, which allowed me a better view even if I was further away, but made it easier to get caught filming/taking pictures by security. My longest clip is probably only a minute and a half, with quite some shaking. But, it was Min Hyun’s solo performance, so I had to do it ;)

Even though I chose the side I did, about half of the performances were on the extension stage, or a lot of moving around. I probably would have been better off on the left side...However, I got really lucky when Min Hyun faced the main stage while performing on the extension, and I was right under. Holding a banner I bought above me, I managed to catch his eye twice! I know we shared eye contact and in those few seconds, the world stopped. Yeah....I got it bad xD

As for Ji Hoon, he ended up standing right by the bridge connecting the main and extension stage. We made a brief eye contact when I waved, and I was over the moon.

I guess I’ll call myself a successful fan for now; nothing else I can do...no fansign because I’m not from Korea. No hi-touch because even though I planned to go to KCON this year, I can’t make either one despite Wanna One being at both. I had considered traveling to another city, but not sure if that’s feasible.

Pictures are fuzzy and too exposed due to the lighting, but at least I have something? Videos are seconds at best, and extremely shaky and unfocused. I was almost afraid to open them, because it would confirm everything was over. It’s just a memory now, but an extremely precious one I will cherish for years to come.

That will most likely be the first and last time I’ll see Wanna One, but I have hope that they will come together again in the future. Until then, I will forever and always be a Wannable <3

P.S. I will eventually post the videos and pictures later, after I sort through them all and edit out the parts I was hiding the phone from security....

Thanks to @strangetomato​, @retromaisie​, and @katatty-main​ for your responses about the posing ‘jump’ issue. I was using the Freezer clock for some of the sims, but not all of them, so I will make myself be more diligent with that and hopefully that will improve matters. Pretty sure it was idle animations causing the jumps, based on what you were saying as I did have Free Will off and time frozen with the Clock.

@esmeiolanthe​ and @holleyberry​ - I think you guys were talking about a different issue when you are physically moving the sims into place and they jump into the hands of a nearby sim. That wasn’t happening as I had them all on OMSPs. The issue I was having was them jumping out of the pose when already in place, but thanks for the help :)

Thank you so much! I won’t be putting this one up for download, because there’s a ton of CC in there and a lot of it I got from installing lots, so I’m not even sure where it’s from or what the creator’s terms are and you’d likely end up with a lot of missing Master textures and stuff. Also I’m not sure parts of it are entirely playable *cough* the kitchen *cough* because I used MoveObjects etc to arrange stuff and I haven’t playtested the house at all. I’m fully expecting to have to rearrange everything when I move a sim into it. x.x Feel free to copy/recreate it though. I do that all the time ;)

Yes that is (hopefully) how I'll be setting up my new hood, as I set it up completely clean, it currently has zero sims. I will be creating some townies for the apartment lots when I get onto sim building.

as for the noise thing, i think the trick is to put bedrooms on a side of the building that isnt joined onto a neighobur's wall? if that makes sense

The noise is coming through from the neighbour's living room into the Terranos' kitchen so it's not bedroom-related. I'll have to look into it more. Or not have posh apartments directly next to each other. I think the noise makes sense in lower-rent places, but the Terranos' place is meant to be nice and fairly up-market. xD

I use probably the same hack that Katatty uses for the townie apartment neighbors, and I also completely nuke neighbor noise b/c I got sick of it: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=577082 But if you don't want to do that, you can hang pictures on every wall. (Invisible recolors are good for this, obviously.) Then the noise emitter can't generate.

I will probably get sick of it after a while so thanks for that link! At the moment it's still new to me so I'm all 'ooooh noise :D'. I think I'll have to play around with various tricks so I can maintain it in some but not all. =)

Yups about the witches! I just had a sim become a witch the "normal" way for the first time. You just have to make friends with one of the High Witches (either good or bad) and then eventually there will be an option to ask to be shown the way of the path of either darkness or light, depending on which witch you asked.

I'm looking forward to Monica finally getting there. She's wanted to be a witch since she first saw one back in LFT and it'll be nice to have some Good to balance Olive's Evil.

Thank you both! It took quite a while to get it to a state I was happy with while using little CC. I spent ages trying to use the normal spire roof and failing before realising I could use the mansard roof pieces.

Congrats on your school bby👏🏼👏🏼❤️ I wish I was good at school but I just can't concentrate or like even get myself to study. I know you're dealing with a lot outside of that,so how do you do it like how do you get yourself to study and actually concentrate and do so well??

Actually, tbh, I’ve never studied even once in my entire life. Because. . .well. . .I don’t know how to study. No one has ever taught me how to study. So I’m at a loss on studying. So I just don’t do it. Plus, all the stuff I’ve taken classes on so far is literally nothing more than common sense. High school was all common sense, all the courses for my AA degree have been common sense. So, albeit Idk HOW to study, I really don’t need to. Coz it’s all in my brain already. The only subject I’m bad at is math. And that’s because I have dyscalculia, meaning I have a learning disorder in math. But even that I don’t study for. I just sort of wing it on the tests and pass with a C or B, which is awfully low for me. I’m accustomed to getting A’s in all my classes and on all my assignments without any effort applied, so. . .it’s kinda startling when I get a C or a B. ._.

Anyways. . .how do I focus? Well. . .let’s just describe this situation as I have the complete opposite of ADHD/ADD. I have this crazy ability to hyper-focus on anything I choose. Doesn’t matter what it is. I can focus on things sooooooo easily. It’s like I’m unable to NOT focus. My focus is so heightened and concentrated that it doesn’t matter what the subject is. . .I can focus on it with great ease. I’m lucky in that way.

So, really, all I have to do is pay attention in class (or, in my most recent classes that have all been online, just read and watch everything required) and then I can literally do any assignment they ask me to immediately after paying attention. I was in the IB program in high school so I kind of HAD to have that kind of focusing ability.

All that. . .and I have always been really good at school. Lack of motivation is the only thing that stands in my way sometimes. So. . .honestly, I either get an A on the assignment, or I get a 0 for not turning it in. There really isn’t an inbetween for me. I tested into the IB program during high school. And the classes that weren’t offered at the IB level. . .I was forced to take AP classes instead. Coz the IB system was new then and our school was one of the first to test out the IB system. So I took IB and AP everything.

Plus, I LOVEEEEEE to learn. I mean, learning is one thing that excites me. So school is for me. I’ve always been really good at school because it’s all common sense. But. . .when I get into my core veterinary medicine classes, I’m probably going to be absolutely lost because none of that is common sense and I will actually have to LEARN something new which. . .I’ve never done before up to this point. So I’m SOMEHOW going to have to learn how to study. . .Idk how I’m gonna get through it without knowing how to study. ._. I’m definitely going to try, though. Maybe I won’t need to study if I just really pay attention in class and get some hands on practice. Rrrrgh.

Albeit I’m really good at school and am very book smart, I have NO common sense and I can’t do anything domestic. I literally almost burned my apartment in Jax down because I put something in the toaster oven that wasn’t supposed to be in there (apparently) and like. . .it caught on fire and I was calling my roommates and they were all high and didn’t know what the fuck I was talking about so I just fucking sprayed it with water and that just made everything WORSE. I was panicking like crazy so I googled how to take care of it and luckily, after taking a quick scan of the pages, I figured out I had to smother it. I mean. . .ugh. I’ve also put a packet of unopened fudge in brownies because it never said to open the packet. Haha. I’m common sense stupid. Like really. I may have a very high IQ, but I’m very literally retarded (I don’t use that word lightly) when it comes to common sense.

So I mean. . .there’s always a trade off. I bet you have wonderful common sense. c: And I bet you know how to make a bed. I’m 25 and I still can’t make a bed on my own. So uh. . .be grateful for things like that. Coz my only strength in life is my book smarts. x.x I don’t have any other useful traits. Lol. You probably have a LOT more useful traits than I do. Lmao. So, really, be thankful for the things you have. You may not be great at school, but I bet you’re really smart in other areas of life. c:

Also, that paper I got a 100 on? I’m a writer. Writing is what I do. I’ve never gotten anything less than a 100 on a paper. In high school, I got awards for my writing and I almost got a book published in 5th grade. . .but I never finished it. I never finish anything. :/ I have a hard time sticking to things because literally everything grabs my attention and then next thing I know, I’m like 15 pages deep into reading about black holes. Lmao. I got a perfect score on my state essay test and my high school teacher still uses my essays as examples for the class coz I was the best writer she’s ever had. I’m very proud of that.

I also got an opportunity in my first year of high school to go overseas and study because I had such good grades and was so smart. I never got to go because we didn’t have enough money to send me. So I missed out on that. And this isn’t really relevant but I’ve been a first chair clarinetist my whole life. Even my first year of college, I won 1st chair with my audition. I also have tons of awards for music and I have music scholarships. I was also in all-state band in my senior year of high school. I got to play with the best of the best in the state. It was AMAZING. But my school had to take us out of it early because there was a blizzard coming. It really sucked that we had to leave. I was having the time of my fucking life. . .playing with people who were actually serious about music and were really good at their instruments. As opposed to playing with a high school band made up of people who didn’t really care. I’ve played in all sorts of bands. Symphonic, Concert, Jazz, Marching, etc. I also did a lot of extra curriculars. I took tap dancing, Irish step dancing, ballet, horseback riding, piano lessons, clarinet lessons. . .just so many things. I barely had any free time as a child. 

I was also in a private catholic school from pre-k to 8th grade and it was a very difficult school to get into but I tested in. And the classes were extremely advanced. We were studying high school and college level material in middle school. So. . .I think that may have given me a jump start on being good at school. And our band was state-renowned so we got to play at Disney one time. . .and they shut down the whole park after that so that it was literally just us in the band in the park and we got to do anything we wanted. There were no lines anywhere. . .we just got free roam of the park and got to go on any ride we wanted. It was fucking amazing. The highlight of my musical career was in my first semester in college. We got to play the whole score to Star Trek: Into Darkness. And I was first chair so I got all the solos. It was absolutely amazing. Being a trekky like I am, that became the highlight of my career as a musician because I had never had so much fun playing a piece in my entire life. And I was section captain in Marching Band.

I also did a lot of other things in high school. I was secretary of the Art Club, Vice President of Foreign Language club, secretary of our music club, I was an editor and columnist for the school newspaper, envirothon, I was on the debate team for a while, and I ran track for a year. I also started my own environmental club that I was Captain of. We went out and cleaned up the roads and I gave speeches at rally’s about recycling and green options.

Needless to say, I was in the town newspaper a lot for my accomplishments. Lol. I was very involved in high school. . .and now I’ve had a solid 4.0 for the past few semesters and my GPA has never dropped below a 3.5 in my entire college career. So. . .there’s that, too.

Ahhh, I’m just really proud of my accomplishments. Haha. I did so much in high school in order to get into a good college and I’ve spent my college years trying harder to get into a good university. Idk where I’m going to start my bachelors program, though. I’m not stopping in school until I get a Ph.D. That’s been my dream since I was very little was to get a Ph.D. I’m never giving up on it.

BUT I’M ON A TANGENT. SO SORRY.

Burger King Crown

Healers pulling thing reminded me of something from the fall x.x Tam Tara with a leaflet gladiator that’s havin’ a real rough time with hate so I’m on bard basically just auto attacking on some mobs during pulls to make sure I don’t take anything off him. While I understand that Eos can solo heal that whole thing on her own the uh…Sch spends every bit after the first boss just about pulling extra mobs. At first I just face-palm and gripe to myself, but after a few times I bring it up. Until this point it’s moostly been that stuff is close and the Sch bumps into it and drags it back. This time they went out of the way to get more, but I’m still playing it off. Say something suggesting they be more careful about accidentally pulling extra mobs since the tank is new and their aggro on stuff’s been a little shaky so far.

“Except it wasn’t on accident?”

I do a double take and…they’re a mentor. Purposefully pulling extra stuff and expecting the newbie to take it off or just not play their tank role because Sch can “…just heal through everything in here.” even when the fresh pull is staying on them self. Like damn, early arcanist can heal through the first dungeons too just about but I don’t see them taking a healer’s job. So why are you taking the tank’s?

I’m pretty much a pile of salt knowing the burger kings are doing stuff like this and keeping the guy from working on getting hit tank stuff down, but Sch is pretty meh and convinced that because ‘everyone gave [them] a hard time early tanking too’ then they have every right to do the same. Also informed me that they got their crown from crafting and that they don’t have to play nice in any content or be mentor-y at all in stuff like this because they’re a crafting mentor. Generic crown, not even the craft specific one.

But I’m too goody two-shoes to vote kick when it’s not in line with the rules. Sch wasn’t harassing me, they were harassing the tank. And the tank never spoke up. And square’s rule junk doesn’t let you report things in the name of others, so it’s grey if they support vote kicking under harassment in the name of others. Whole can of worms I don’t wanna get in trouble over.

But I went friggin’ ham on that guy for wearing a crown when he had no intention of actually helping new people. And the intention of actually making it harder on new players with the crown to perpetuate how bad the burger kings can be in content, so every time this leaflet sees one they have to wonder if the crown is gonna pull for them and make it a bad time.

Guy was already on the harder tank to start with in terms of keeping hate. Why make it worse. Build on that bad start you had yourself to try and make sure other folks don’t have it too. I try to, at least.

Moral of the story: If you’re going to wear the mentor crown, don’t be a jack off. And just because you got your shit from crafting doesn’t make you a freaking entitled god. You’re in mentor roulette ffs. Act like a goddamn mentor.

Like I said in my last post, I’ve lost all faith in crowns. Legit assume them to be pieces of shit unless proven otherwise and 3 times out of 5 I’m fucking right.
