This is a really interesting theory! I would love to hear your opinion on it! I think Corona might’ve been the one who killed Naberius. I think it makes a lot of sense 😊

Oh, that's a really fascinating theory. I'll admit that I already heard about it once, but never in that debt, so thank you very much :) I find it in fact very convincing! For those who haven't read those posts, here a list of the made points and of my own points that convinced me:

The Blood

When the others come in, Ianthe is covered in blood.

And Naberius has most likely been stabbed into his back:

Thing is, if you stab someone like that the blood would spray out of their CHEST. If IANTHE had stabbed him from behind the blood couldn't have hit her. (The blood on his front supports that) This makes only sense if Ianthe's stand right in front of him, and SOMEONE ELSE stabbed him into the back.

(That's a really strong point, I think. You could maybe argue that she needed to use his blood after, and that it comes from this occasion, but as she says a single drop of blood is enough.)

The Rapier

The rapier she used must have weighed at least one kilogram (2 pounds). It's questionable at all if Ianthe could have used it (without Naberius muscle memory), regarding what Corona says about her strenght:

But there's even another point! We can assume that the stab went straight to his heart (or another vulnerable place) and that he was more or less immediately dead. Otherwise he would have probably not held his shocked face. It's rather unlikely that a beginner like Ianthe should do such a precise stab, ESPECIALLY regarding the weight and the fact that she has no idea how to use a rapier.

All that speaks for someone who has advanced rapier skills (like Corona) and does some work-outs. (Yes, I know, she's likely not as good as Babs. But you don't need to be a master duellant to murder someone from behind.)

AND - I'd like to add that, because I find it very important: I see no reason why Ianthe should murder him with a rapier. She is a flesh (and limenal) magican. Isn't it much more likely that she - if she intended to kill Naberius - would use her flesh magic skills to do that? Probably, she could even work more precisely that you ever could with a rapier - and so on. It doesn't make sense that she would use A WEAPON SHE HAS NO IDEA OF, if she actually has a working arsenal of working magical weapons she could use instead. That speaks VERY MUCH for Corona and HER murder.

Suspicious (off-screen) Talks

That's now completely my own point, but I find it to interesting to not mention it: I always assumed that there must have been off-screen talks between the twins (and Naberius) somewhen. They likely followed some kind of evil plan. Naberius says to Corona after her duel with Gideon:

Why not now? What is now? Why is now an especially bad time to do that? It really sounds if they had some kind of plan...

(And btw - I'm pretty sure that Naberius doesn't know that, but the fact alone that Corona trains under this high risk could be a hint that she prepares herself to kill him.)

Then! With the key thing, Corona and Ianthe obviously had a fight... The Bad Blood lasts pretty long:

However, for some reason Corona thinks it's insanely important for Ianthe to know that there are no rules (except Jod) at Canaan House.

(Why is that important? (Does it have to do with killing Babs? Are the later Challenging Scene?))

And after the challenging scene, they seem to be on a good base again.

But I would argue it's not only because of the Challenging Scene, but a clarifying conversation. Because briefly before Corona says to Gideon (during their duel):

And that's another odd hint THEY PLAN something! I think they have one plan Naberius knows (obviously not one where he dies) and at least one of them has the plan to kill him. Maybe they planned that Corona should kill him, so she could take his place. (That would explain Corona's feeling of betrayal even more deeply - Ianthe would in fact have fooled her. Although it's hard to me to feel empathy for betrayals in plans which go over the murder of a childhood friend :D)

To conclude: Now that I think about it, I really can't see a single reason why Ianthe could have killed Babs that way. (Except of that she claims it. But Ianthe has a HISTORY of being untrustworthy and the evidence is clearly against her.) Every point here only makes sense if Corona was the murderer. I'm absolutely convinced 10/10 theory.

I also think it would explain the shock at Naberius face. Ianthe "Poison Master of his Childhood" Tridentarius killing him would maybe not have been that surprising:

i've been thinking about this! while i did appreciate the dive into his vulnerability and trauma earlier this season, he started to read flat and one-dimensionally evil towards the end, at least in how everyone around him reacted to him. so i've been thinking about what i would want to see in season 3 in like an ideal scenario, considering everything that's already happened. my current best shot is that i could see him starting a new character arc in light of his knowledge about his upcoming death where he starts, like rhaenyra, looking ahead to the bigger picture, to his legacy, and to the history books.

in that context, i think he could find meaning within actually coming back to aegon's cause, especially since helaena implied that aegon would eventually "see victory." this might happen after he faces his demons at harrenhal, the same way daemon did. it would bring back the element of brotherly loyalty that i've been missing from the book, and it would fulfill the daemon parallel by having both princes head willingly into fights to their death with the intention of taking out their sworn monarch's biggest threat on the way.

My take on this, under the cut because I wrote more than intended

- Hange, Child of Hephaestus: because, yeah, it's Hange. They are curious, they like building stuff. Plus I can totally see Hange with fire powers.

- Levi, Child of Hades: because Levi is definitely a child of one of the Big Three, he's special, he's powerful. And he reminds me of Nico, all brooding but so soft on the inside and full of trauma. Give these boys a hug. Oh and the fact that Levi's from the underground just really fits.

- Eren, Child of Poseidon: I know, I know, Eren being Eren would probably be a Child of Ares with war and stuff but- I just- listen to me. Poseidon is the god of earthquakes as well. Rumbling, oh yeah. And I know the ocean was more of Armin's dream and all the symbolism, but Eren wanting to go and see the ocean... I don't know, in my mind his Godly parent is Poseidon.

- Armin, Child of Athena: not much to say, Goddess of wisdom and war strategy. Armin's smart, strategic, always got a plan. Alternatively, I've thought of him being a child of Aphrodite, and I don't dislike the idea.

- Mikasa, Child of Athena: I'm kinda lost with her but I like to think she's the other side of the coin. Like, the part of Children of Athena that's pure talent for arms and battles. Because Mikasa is pure talent for battle, but I feel she lacks the aggressiveness of Ares children.

- Erwin, Child of Zeus: yes I know he can be another child of Athena but his confidence, his presence, his leading abilities. Just big Zeus vibes I get from him.

- Mike, Child of.... Well I like him being a child of Apollo like anon suggested, and it fits my headcanon of Mike. But, I feel canon Mike would probably be a Child of Ares.

- Moblit, Child of Apollo: I really like the idea of him being able to heal. Also, he's a talented artist and a ray of sunshine.

- Nanaba, Child of Demeter: I really love what anon suggested. Totally with them on this one.

- Jean, Child of Hermes: I don't really have an explanation. I just feel he would be a son of Hermes. Maybe it's just that Jean feels so incredibly human to me, and children of Hermes do too.

Liu Qingge: I've already answered once, but at least Mobei Jun isn't as present on the Peak as Luo Binghe... and he is definitely a lot less annoying.

Shen Qingqiu: ah, haha, well, as much as I enjoy poking fun at Qinghua I can say that their relationship has been accepted relatively easily... especially after all the other stuff between me and Binghe... (Still, Airplaine is an idiot for not noticing that Mobei had been courting him for decades...)

Mu Qingfang: In my case, I'm more relieved after knowing the nature of Shang-shidi's lover... the first few times I observed his bruises and bite marks I worried that he had ended up in an abusive relationship... Qi Qingqi: While I am not too thrilled about what Shang-shidi's lover is I have to agree with Liu-shixiong... (Not to mention how much fun my girls have writing about them *cough*)

Lin Qingshui: The moment I met Shang-shidi I knew what he would marry, after all the string of fate never lies kekekeke. Gao Qinggao: As a monk, I believe love should know no bounds or restrictions, we should not judge them. Amitabha.

Ruan Qingruan: I came to know about Shidi's relationship status after a night drinking with Qinghua (no one was available to try my new brew for only immortals) and he just spilt the beans about his "King" only after the big reveal I understood that he was speaking of an actual demon king...

Yu Qingtao: I also, connected the dots later... all my animals would stay away from Shang-shidi... he is most definitely scent-marked by Mobei Jiun hahaha.

Xu Qingli: I don't care, I believe romance is a waste of time.

Yue Qingyuan: I see Shang-shidi's marriage as a great opportunity between the realms, as cultivators we should always strive for peace. With Xi-Shen-shidi's marriage with Luo Binghe, we can create a long era of peace and prosperity for both realms.

I think she tends to go into fight - split with fawn. Depending on the stressful situation, she's typically in a position where she's a figure in charge, so she'll get involved and try to help or figure out what's going on, and resolve the situation. I think the fawn fear response would primarily come into play when she was still in a relationship with Bobby & trying to make it work

🐞 (ladybug) - What does a perfect day look like for your oc? What do they do? Who do they see?

Honestly, I think a perfect day for Kira is a quiet day spent on her own. Something where she just gets to go to the gym or the gymnastics center and train, take a nice long shower at home and do some hair/face masks, putter and clean her apartment, cook a nice meal, and settle in with her sewing and her favorite TV. She's really come to savor her alone time by the time Wayhaven starts

🎒 (backpack) - What items does your oc usually carry? Do they have a bag or just keep everything in their pockets? Do they carry a lot or a little?

I think she generally tries to carry very little - but she'd have caches of supplies in her car, in her office desk, etc - but for the most part sticks to a small-ish bag or purse that can fit her phone, wallet, and maybe a spare tampon
