His husky voice lingers in the air, oh how I loved the sound of his voice, we have been together for a few years now, and somehow hearing him, looking at him, never got old. His green eyes caught mine, helding it captive, because I mean who wouldn't drown in those emerald green orbs, mouthing with his plum lips across the table, "I love you" as Sam discussed the plan with us. Mouthing back "I love you too Dean". Looking at each other as if we were the only people in the room.
"Really you two?" Sam looked at the two of them, "we need to focus, the two of you need to pose as a high end, couple, for this charity event, so I need both of you too listen" Dean and I looked a little guilty, but then Dean smirked "bite me" I chuckled a little, the way Sam's face has irritation written all over..
Sam looked at me, eyeing the oversized clothing I always wear, oh he didn't want to say it out loud but, I knew what he was thinking, how am I going to look the part?. I barely even wear makeup or do my hair, but like who would not want to be comfortable when you're fighting monsters and ghosts. I smile, "Don't worry boys, I'll dress the part" Dean gave me this surprised almost scolding look sounding sincere, "You are beautiful sweetheart, I don't care what you wear, your beautiful" he walked up to me, and without hesitation he pulled me into an endearing kiss, his hands resting on my hips, I heard Sam, mumbling "Oh! Give me a break" and walk out, leaving the two of us, I could feel the way Dean smiled, against my lips. After a few more seconds, we came up for air, sounding breathy ,"Babe you should stop terrorising your brother so much" he simply smirked "Not my fault Sammy is so easily annoyed" I laugh, starting to turn away from him, "I need to go and get ready for tonight's event, you too mister" he grabbed my wrist, "Come here sweetheart" he pulled me close to him, looking into my eyes, "you know I love you right, more than anything in this world?" I smiled, looking at this gorgeous man in front of me, his freckles, my damn weakness, "Mhmm you see I know that's not true" surprised he looks at me "what?" Chuckling a bit "what about baby?" Referencing the love for his Chevrolet Impala, standing in the garage, he burst into laughter "You are driving me crazy woman, now go get ready" giving me a playful slap on the rear. I walk away, smiling, my heart bursting with love and joy.
He smiles as he watches her walk away, wearing loose fitting jeans one of his t-shirts and some flannel, hair in a messy bun, it's true he didn't care what she wore, she's so beautiful for him, but he would be lying, if he said he wasn't curious what she'll look like all dressed up, for some reason that's beyond him, she always thinks she's not pretty, but oh how far that could be from the truth, he knows every single inch of her body, every little spot that makes her tickle, every Little sensitive part, that makes her moan in pleasure, he loves her, even more than his car, but he'll never admit it.
Checking himself in the mirror, mumbling "I hate these monkey suits" as he struggled with his bow tie. He walks around the bunker searching for Sam, of course he finds his little brother's nose buried in those damn books, "Sammy help a man out?" Sam looks up, "you can hunt some of the most dangerous creatures, but you can't fix a tie?" The glare Dean gives him shows he isn't happy at the remark, he gets up, helping his big brother fix the tie.
Sam's eyes widens, his mouth falls open, Dean looks at him "What's your problem?" Sam could barely utter a single word he was stunned to say the least, Dean followed his eyes and when Dean turned around, his breathing hitched, his heart rate went up, he slightly gasped for air, taking in the beauty before him, his eyes wandered over her. Her hair draped over her shoulders, her eyes glistening, her smile could light up the darkest of rooms, wearing a red tight fitting dress. The high cut slit in her dress, exposing her right leg, the crystal like heels, making her seem taller, her legs leaner, the low halter cut, just exposing enough of her collar bone, to leave something for the imagination.
Without saying a word, Dean gestured for her to turn, the back of the dress, totally exposed, just covered her lower back. He bit his lower lip, and with the back of his hand, hitting against Sam's chest, his voice sounding a bit more husky, "shit, that's my woman?!" She laughed and her voice rang, "Last time I checked, I was all yours"
All the way to the event Dean could barely keep his eyes on the road.
When he led her through the doors, his hand rested on the curve of her back, so many eyes were on her, and he slightly chuckled when she whispered "why are they all looking at me?" As if she doesn't know she's beautiful! So he just smiled, took her hand, and asked "do me the honour and dance with me?" She did a little playful dip, "the honour would be all mine" before he pulled her close, he gave her a once over. He never saw the highlights in your hair, that caught your eyes, or the dress you're wearing tonight, he pulls you close. Dancing cheek to cheek, the way she feels this close to him, her small hands on his shoulders, his calloused hands, in the small of her back, sending electric shocks through her spine, swaying with the music, maybe Dean's caught up in the moment, but there's a question weighing on him for months, but now, now it feels like the right moment, he's voice sounded deeper than normal as he whispered, hot air brushing against her neck "Sweetheart?"
Slightly breathy, "Yes?" He cleared his throat, "make me the happiest man alive, and be my wife?"
Her swaying body came to a stop , "A...are you asking me" he cut her off, pulled back looking in her eyes, "yes, will you marry me?" I couldn't believe it, he just asked me to be forever his, without further due, I planted a kiss on his plum lips, soft tears rolling down my cheeks, he smiled against her soft lips, "is that a yes?" I break the kiss, smiling widely, "yes a million times yes" he laughed, picked her up, gave a twirl, and placed her down, his fingers intertwined with hers. Giving me that signature smirk, "What do you, say Mrs Winchester let's go catch that shifter, then we celebrate with some pie and beer?" I laughed, nodding, as happy as can be, "lead the way Mr Winchester".

What kind of dads I think the 141 tf would be
༻━━━━༺❀༻━━━━༺
𝒥𝑜𝒽𝓃 '𝒮𝑜𝒶𝓅'  𝓜.
❀ Deffo a girl dad
❀ He has three girls with you and always rough housing with them—throwing them in the air and doing anything to make his little girls giggle
❀ ALWAYs giving you heart attacks with the trick he does with them
Once pushed his daughter abruptly into the pool after swimming lessons to see if they payed off (they did)
Then one of your daughters wanted to try a yoga tick and she definitely flipped when she wasn't supposed to.
❀ Always trying to make them happy
Takes them to the daddy daughter dances, takes them on daddy–daughter dates
Buys them anything they want whether it be food to the latest toy
❀ Takes pictures of them all the time!!! What can he say, he likes proof
❀ After a year of taking a break from kids you two try again and finally he gets a boy
He’s so excited
𝒮𝒾𝓂𝑜𝓃 '𝒢𝒽𝑜𝓈𝓉’ 𝓡.
❀ Girl dad all the way!
❀ Obsessed with his little girl and never lets her out of his sight.
❀ Gets teary eyed when she grows every month
❀ He was hesitant to have a kid but you two got the case of baby fever (and horniness) and made one. Now he's in love.
❀ Cherishes her and makes sure she's always happy.
❀ The burly man is suddenly so gentle and always doing peek-a-boo to make her smile
❀ You two wait at least three years to have another kid
Now he’s a girl and boy dad!
❀ Makes sure to treat the two of them so well and make sure they never experience what he did when he was little.
❀ Even with his son hes gently
Sees how Soap plays with his daughters and has a heart attack at the thought of them being in the air
But when his son grows up a bit and starts getting more “tough” (aka punching Simon with his little fists and Simon just thinks it his muscles spasming until he turns around and sees the little guy) he starts playing with him somewhat more rough.
Teaches him Krav Maga
Takes him to the shooting range (only after hes 15)
Also teaches his daughter Krav Maga and gives her enough self protection items to protect herself and the whole school
❀ He tries to not over do it but he's always spending his money on them (and u obvi)
❀ Takes them by base sometimes just to meet their “uncles.”
❀ He just loves them so much
𝒥𝑜𝒽𝓃 𝒫𝓇𝒾𝒸𝑒
❀ Girl dad.
❀ Doesn't have a boy—wouldn't be mad if he had one but he doesn't care, hes ecstatic with his two girls.
❀ Cherishes those precious little girls with his whole heart
❀ Very strict and tells them once they can understand words that they cant date until they turn 30
When they grow up it gets annoying but he's very insistent that they cant date—at least not in high school
❀ He does all the things “normal families do” when he's back home
Disneyland trips, road trips, dinners anywhere the family wants
Speaking of dinners—everyone votes which restaurant sounds the best and that's where you guys go
❀ Almost cries every first day of school
Always posting/sharing photos in family and friend gc’s to show off his daughters achievements
Example:
Price: (Photo of him next to his daughter after getting an award) My daughters amazing
Ghost: 👍
Soap: good kid, congrats
Gaz: let her know we’re proud!
❀ If he posts a picture i believe the caption would go: My little girl is always putting in the work! Best student I know!
He’s always having proud dad moments 🥺
𝒦𝓎𝓁𝑒 "𝒢𝒶𝓏" 𝒢.
❀ Two boys and then one girl
❀ Loves all of them so much!
❀ He’s always teaching them new things
He’s a teaching dad
Teaches them how to cook, play sports, bake, swim, ect.
❀ Takes them to sports events and concerts
He’s the kind of guy whos always giving them reasons to post pics
❀ Soaps a cool dad but he's a rowdy cool, Kyle on the other hand is cool chill dad
His kids are never embarrassed by him and their friends also love him
❀ (He’s the dad who the moms like)
❀ Not as strict on his kids but he is very protective
❀ He also teaches his kids self defense

It's A Sin [Jimmy Darling]
Tumblr media
Angst. Maybe a good ending.
Dandy stole you. That's what Jimmy thinks anyway. You wanted to take a break, and you left the Freakshow for a while. In that time, Dandy wooed you. You didn't come back. Even if you did, Dandy wouldn't let you.
I'm so sorry for this, I just thought of it and thought it would be good to get back into writing for Jimmy<3
No one's perspective
⊹˚.⋆ ₊꒷ᘏᘏ︶ଓ︶꒷꒦⊹˚ᗢ₊꒷︶ଓ︶꒷
Weeks passed.
Months.
You hadn't come back.
"leave it, Jimmy. Seriously...they would've come back by now." Eve mentioned. But he couldn't. He couldn't just live his life without you to help him and live by his side. Fucking Dandy.
Jimmy sat by the ticket booth, day after day. Not eating, drinking, not even looking back once. Still with a glint of hope in his eyes that you would come back. Back into his arms, and into the Freakshow where you belonged. He held the picture of you in his hands, always. Standing with Elsa and Ma Petite, performing together, smiling the night away. But Dandy just couldn't help himself.
He couldn't stop himself from wooing you with the possibility of a warm meal and a fluffy bed every single night. Being with a man who won't be charmed by other women and was 'normal'. You defended Jimmy at first, saying how he was as normal as you or I. But the baby wasn't having it. He stomped around screaming nothing until he picked you up and threw you in the car. "You're mine now." He seethed. You spat and tugged at the car door. Locked. A shit-eating grin appeared on his face when you realised you couldn't get out.
The drive was silent and awkward. You muttered insults. Dandy ignored. But when you got to the manor, you ran. You ran as far as you could. Away from Dandy.
That's what Jimmy hoped anyway. He hoped you were running. Back towards your home. In reality, you were swooned ever so slightly. You were Dandy's now. Sleeping in a plush, big bed every night with a warm breakfast in bed in the morning. You could live like this forever. Everything you ever wanted, right at your fingertips. Where was your Jimmy in your mind? The last thought in your mind when you fall asleep at night. How he could also be happy like this, but he refuses.
Every single thing about you was missed. It was starting to feel wrong. To love you and miss you so much. Heartache, heartbroken, lost. Desperately waiting and searching for you every morning. Waking up every morning wishing you were still asleep in his arms, missing the way you kissed him so gently, and how Motherly you were with Pepper and Salty. Pepper cried when she realised you were gone. One of the kindest souls, abandoned her, more heartbreak. Jimmy felt guilty for you. He couldn't look them in the eyes anymore. The man spent hours staring at your photos, missing your pretty laugh more day after day.
"I miss them so badly..."
"I know Jimmy. I know. But there's no point sittin' and mopin' around in front of the tent all day. Come eat."
"go away Ma.."
He couldn't bear to look his mother in the eyes. He was betraying everyone, but he wanted nothing more than to see you running towards him on the road, jumping into his safe, protective arms once again, and being back home. She sighed, and just turned away, walking back into the Freakshow tent.
Tumblr media
Time passed.
A cold October night.
No one around here, no one there.
Breaths, and slowing down footsteps. A lit-up sign in front of their eyes. 1am. No one behind them, to the right, left or in front of. No car following them quietly. Opening the curtains, they walked in. Radio silence. It felt like they had to walk on air. Everything was the way it was when they left. When they walked out of the door, and out of the freaks' lives. You heard your beloved nickname. "Schön..?" Elsa asked quietly, standing in shock. Whether it was happy or angry shock you didn't know until she rushed to you, a grip around your tired body pulling you up. "Mein gott.. schieße.." German mutters and swears.
"I never shoulda left Elsa. Darl', I'm so sorry.." you whispered into her shoulder, knowing to hold in your tears. Both of you spoke for what felt like hours, and now you were standing by the stage, waiting for Elsa to signal you.
"seriously Elsa? This has to happen now?" You missed his voice. You felt like putty already, but you silently coughed and stood up straight.
"Yes! It cannot wait any longer." Jimmy tiredly chuckled. Oh, how you could be a puddle right now, entranced by him just like you were when you were first introduced to him. Lights cut, you stepped onto the stage with shaky legs and hands, facing the wall. The sudden awareness of lights made. You take a deep, incredibly shaky breath. Jimmy recognised you instantly. He stood up, anger, confusion, and love filling his brain. And in a second, you spun on your heel. Eyes meeting eyes. Seeing the sadness in Jimmy's look made you want to fade into the wall and never address him ever again. He muttered your name as the urge to fall to your knees grew.
"Jimmy.." you muttered back, half smiling. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." You were almost cut off as Jimmy jumped to meet you on the stage, holding your hands tightly.
"Why? Why Dandy? Of all fuckin' people?"
"Because I was selfish." You looked away at the ground, feeling too guilty to ever look in his eyes again. "I was fucking selfish and lacked judgement. This is home." A hug was the last thing you expected as a response, but Jimmy held you tight, what you had craved for the last two months. He sobbed into your shoulder, and everything hit you like a freight truck. Hearing the one you loved to cry, realising how badly you fucked up. It made you burst, gripping the loose fabric on his back.
"Jimmy Darling, darling, I never shoulda left you. I'm sorry for being an asshole."
"My pretty sweetheart.." he muttered, holding your face, both your eyes and his, glassy. And a kiss. One like never before. Desperate hands around his neck, your back, weak knees, small giggles and smiles. Being held by the one who gave you the world despite everything. This felt right.
"I'm so glad Elsa woke me up." He chuckled, resting his forehead on yours.
"I'm glad I came back."

can you please do like any sort of jude fluff? :)<3
masterpiece
pairing: jude bellingham x fem!artist!reader [she/her]
warning(s): potentially wrong art terminology
summary: the one where they spend the afternoon painting
Tumblr media
A free day on a lone Saturday was spent by Y/N and Jude, together. They allowed themselves to do what they wanted—what Y/N wanted to do, what Jude wanted to do. The theme between the two remained the same, consistent: to be cosy, to relax and to have some overall fun and thrill before returning to their jobs the following day. And so, sometime during the late afternoon, the pair found themselves situating one another in Y/N's art room to paint.
The plan was simple: using pictures of their choice, Y/N would paint Jude, and Jude would paint Y/N. The activity would be unserious, naturally; they were painting for the fun and thrill of it all, that's what they wanted to do on their free day, of course. But knowing them, there would probably still be an element of competition within everything.
"I feel like a kid doing this," Jude exclaimed as he sat by his station. Letting out a small exhale, he smiled as his hands ran over his canvas. "It's been so long since I've painted something. This is actually going to be so much fun, you know."
Looking away from her brushes, Y/N had to scoff a laugh. She shook her head. "I can tell you're already enjoying yourself."
Even if Jude hadn't voiced his quite obvious excitement to paint, she would've known either way. Jude made sure he was looking and acting the part: wearing overalls (with one of the straps undone) and a painting hat, scrabbling around the room to retrieve all the needed equipment, adjusting his easel every now and then, asking Y/N for some tips beforehand. It was a unique sight to see; he wasn't exactly trying to hide this enthusiasm of his.
And while it was something to laugh at maybe, to witness Jude in such a different environment—surrounded by so much simple excitement and enthusiasm—it was also something for Y/N to smile at kindly. Watching Jude in so much delight and wonder, his focus wide and whole on this one activity that he probably wouldn't do until later days, it was outwardly cute. She let him experience all of this excitement, all of this delight and without interruption to get out of it.
"I mean it's not something we get to do every day, you know." Whenever Y/N was working on an art project, Jude was never really allowed in her art room. Whenever he found himself peaking through the door window, he always saw her lost in thought and wonder, or in excess creativity that she wouldn't put down her brush until later hours– there was no in-between. For the most part, it was strictly off-limits and he respected that. When it was all said and done, Y/N always came through with yet another masterpiece in her hands.
"And now that we can..." Jude passed a narrow brush on his canvas simply to test the colour. Witnessing the faint red on the sheet, he hummed. He'd yet to start and he already felt like he was having the time of his life, feeling himself. "Imma take advantage of that."
As time eased into the afternoon, they did too. In all that they were doing, it was simply fun and thrilling and unserious. That fun when Jude was painting as he wanted to, whenever they would dash a bit of paint here and there. That thrill when the vibes in the room remained immaculate throughout, a healthy mix of painting, conversation and mediocre singing. That unseriousness when two got up for a break, using the short intermission for a dance break, a bit of laughter and toe-stepping adding to the mood.
There was an element of surprise to all of this. Considering that they were sitting adjacent to one another, Y/N couldn't see his work and Jude couldn't her work. And that only made Jude even more curious about Y/N's work, seeing as she was the qualified artist in the room. He would find himself peaking past his easel, observing Y/N with interest and intent; trying to imitate her hand movements, observing the brushes she chose to use 'cause knowing that even without looking at what she was painting, he knew that it would be amazing.
Then her eyes would fly up and meet his. And she would smile and laugh a bit, watching Jude hide and cave himself behind his easel, trying to make it appear like he was focusing on his own work instead of her. But his face would contort; his cheeks caving and shyly blushing, so much that he could no longer hide his previous actions and current feelings regarding Y/N.
"It's so quiet," Jude commented, laughing a bit. There was only music softly playing in the background. Beyond that, the art room felt quite hollow. He dipped his paintbrush into his water jug, swirling it around. He continued, watching the yellowish water turn faintly green. "I feel like we should ask each other questions."
Y/N raised a brow. "Ask each other questions?"
"Yeah, like, I don't know," Jude exhaled, glancing away from his canvas, "to help with inspirations and dat. In fact, I'll ask the first one." His enthusiasm, once again, was so bright and glowing that Y/N couldn't hold back a kind giggle. "What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think about me?"
"What do I think about Jude?" She thought for a second. Not because she didn't know what to say about him—there was a lot to say about him, a lot of things that Y/N would love to voice. Instead, she thought it all over to bring up his best attributes.
"When I think about you, Jude, I think of someone who's kind, smart, supportive of me—in everything I do, really—has a great personality. There's a lot to who you are, and I'm sure that I could keep going, but Imma keep it short. Also I like the colour blue and white on you," Y/N nodded to herself, confirming her thoughts with an encouraging smile, "They suit you well."
"Oh. Thank you." And there it was all over again, his cheeks caving in and softly blushing. The way she chose to speak about him, he appreciated it. Taking a moment off from working on her artwork, focusing on him as a person rather than as a football player; her words were genuine and soothing to hear.
"And me?" Her eyes returned to her canvas, "What's so special about me?"
Jude shook his head, sighing. Was that something he even needed to think about?
"Well, let's put the obvious out of the way. You're talented and creative and inventive with like all your art projects, and all in your own respects. That's all you, and no one can take that away from you. But you're also this really cool, really amazing person—one of the best that I've ever had. I mean that's why I asked you to be my girlfriend, you know; so amazing, so cool that I can't keep you as just a friend. That wouldn't be enough for me." Using the end of his paintbrush, he pointed to the left side of his chest. His heart. "You got me right here."
Y/N had to break away from her artwork, glancing at Jude with eyes whole and surprised. Not that she didn't know how Jude felt about her. Always did he let her know with the simple things. The texts whenever he left for training or a match, the cute notes he left on the fridge, on any mirror; he was old-fashioned in that sense, always setting a high standard for himself when it came to his partner.
She'd never heard Jude articulate himself in a way that was so sophisticated yet easy to understand. He spoke with such ease, his eyes remaining on his canvas that was, well, her. That she, Y/N, was cool and amazing. That as a friend some time ago, she was so cool and amazing that she had Jude feeling her beyond friendship. His words meant to adore and admire her, and that's exactly how she felt; adored and admired.
After some time when the paint splashing was over, when the dance breaks came to an end, when the light banter between them came to an end, it was finally time to take a look at each other's artwork.
Arms folded, Jude looked between the two easels, which were now standing next to each other rather than away. "I feel like we should look at yours first. I mean we already know that it's going to be better. I'll get too much confidence if I show mine first before you 'cause I know you'll hype me up. We need to get the best out of the way."
She turned her glance to him, laughing. Jude managed to keep the unserious mood alive with paint dots still scattered across his face, predominantly along his cheeks. "Whatever you say," Y/N walked up to her easel, "Presenting, well, you."
Pulling over the paper covering her work, Y/N revealed her painting and, of course, as Jude rightfully predicted, it was wonderful. He was drawn to look delightful and divine, painted completely with blue and white yet still replicating the picture she chose. She managed to complement his features in every possible way, elevating his appearance with her contrasting and shading. He had no words, really. Jude knew that other artists would have more sophisticated and elegant words to say about it. In his eyes, it was simply art.
"What did I tell you? I love it, Y/N," he exclaimed as he brought her into a hug, kissing her cheek. "We gotta get a copy of this. Imma make sure you get commissioned for this."
She squeezed his shoulder. "You know you don't have to." Seeing as Jude was always so open to posting her art projects on his socials on his own will, it was a given that she would get more exposure as an artist. Of course, she appreciated his actions wholeheartedly. But there were times when she wanted to rely on herself and gain her own fans than retrieving some from Jude.
"Well, I want to," he said, taking another picture of her artwork. After placing his phone away, he rubbed his hands together. "All right. You ready to see mine?"
Chuckling a bit, she motioned to his covered artwork. "Let me see this masterpiece of yours."
Removing the cover, she was soon taken aback. Given that Jude wasn't a professional in the field of art, his painting was simplistic and murky, a bit of pencil used for guidelines. Still, she could see what he was going for. He had drawn her but with all the words and he'd associated her with and more surrounding the painting. cool, amazing, creative, talented, inventive, wonderful, fun, pretty, and more. And at the bottom there was BEAUTIFUL, bigger and bolder than any other word.
"Again, I know it's not as good as yours but it's something, right? I made sure to capture, or at least tried to capture all your best features. Then, of course, you do this thing where your art holds a lot of meaning and dat. I haven't exactly mastered that aspect just yet, so I went with a literal approach," he explained, gesturing to his artwork. "See? You're cool, amazing, creative, talented, inventive, pretty and so on. The placement of the words is kinda random and all but there was one that stuck out to me. All of these make you this: beautiful. Get it?" His smile grew wide, pride washing over him. "'Cause it's in bold and all the words point towards it—"
"Yes, Jude. I get it," she let out a small laugh, wiping away a stray tear. "I thought I was professional with this stuff."
Jude scoffed, motioning to his partner. "You see? There you go hyping me up. You already won even before you showed me yours." Once again, he pulled her into a hug, one filled with comfort and a few small giggles. Pulling away, he kept an arm around her shoulder. Together, they turned towards their artworks that, essentially, were them. Soon, a smile broke out on his face. "I think we did a good job, didn't we?"
Y/N hummed softly, leaning into Jude. "Yeah, we did."

Are you taking requests? If so Lee!giyuu and Ler!tengen and rengoku
decline if you want and take your time <3
Did you read my last fic where Giyuu finally teaches Tengen and Kyojuro a lesson? This could be considered the second part (I didn't have another picture, don't judge me)
Tumblr media
Lers: Tengen Uzui and Kyojuro Rengoku
Lee: Giyuu Tomioka
It had already been a week since both 'tickle monsters' had received their lesson, they were grateful, especially Tengen, that no one knew about it. But they were cautious, if they did something to anger Sanemi, he would say so and would NEVER let them both forget that "humiliation"
'I'm not happy with that damn humiliation... Do you know what's the worst?! That it was Tomioka who tickled us! TOMIOKA!!', Tengen was pouting, Kyojuro was also a bit embarrassed about it, but it wasn't as dramatic as Uzui. 'I know Tengen! Hahahaha Tomioka certainly surprised me! Maybe we should integrate him into our team!'
'NO!!' 'Just think about it! No one would suspect that Tomioka is good at tickling and that would give him an advantage!'
Tengen refused, not planning on deal with another "humiliation" made by Giyuu. Although some of his words were true, no one would expect Giyuu to be this good at tickling and that was what helped him to let their guard down. 'Hey... What if we get revenge?'
'Hmm, I think I know where this conversation is going and my answer is no! Uzui, take defeat like a mature man, you act like a child!', Tengen gasped offended, it was true but that was not the topic of conversation.
It took some convincing, but it seems that what changed his mind was when he returned from his checkup with Shinobu. His face was red, he stood in a corner and covered himself with his cloak. 'Hey... Are you okay-?'
'You know what Tengen?! Now I support the idea! Tomioka is going to get a taste of his own medicine for being a gossip!'
Tengen smiled and they both planned what they would do, although Kyojuro was scolding him because there was a death wish in his requests.
Giyuu never really said anything to Shinobu, she only did it to annoy them both, it was fun for her, although maybe she should have clarified some things to Rengoku but it was too late.
'It's been almost 2 weeks since Shinazugawa and I defeated the TenRen team, nothing has happened during those days, should I be worried or happy?', Giyuu thought while eating.
Revenge was a sure thing, especially from Uzui, he knew him quite well and he probably would have been throwing a masterful tantrum at Rengoku if he needed his help.
It was something to be expected for Giyuu, but he don't expected that a scream would bring him out of his thoughts, it was barely morning, it couldn't be a demon. 'DID YOU REALLY THINK YOU'D GET AWAY WITH THIS?!'
'Hahahaha calm down Uzui! We don't want to scare Giyuu!', Kyojuro commented to jump and start pulling Tengen by the ear.
Giyuu now knew he was screwed, not because of his sudden appearance, but because Shinazugawa was also there, but he was on Tengen's shoulders as he panted, looking exhausted.
If Sanemi had ended up like this for just helping him, what would happen to Giyuu who was the "mastermind" of the whole plan?
'KYO!! THAT HURTS!!' 'I hope this way you learn to respect Uzui! Now then, come here Tomio-!', they both looked at where the blue-eyed boy was sitting, but only found his food unfinished and covered with a tablecloth.
After Rengoku made sure Tengen put Sanemi down correctly, the two pursued their main target.
Giyuu didn't know what to do, everything he planned in one way or another would be ruined, unless he asked for help, but who would? Mitsuri would probably join them, Obanai would betray him, Muichiro would try to defend him in vain, Shinobu would be cruel enough to advise Tengen and Kyojuro on how to tickle him, but... Gyomei wouldn't do it, right? He has seen countless times that he has been the one to break up fights or tickle attacks, so he would be safe on his estate .
'GOTCHA GIYUU TOMIOKA!!', Giyuu was picked up from the ground and thrown into the air only to be caught. 'Did you really think your little escape plan would work?'
'Honestly yes, but I already saw this moment coming, especially because of your tantrums as an immature and melodramatic man...'
'And I totally agree with you Giyuu!'
Tengen stared at Kyojuro, seriously? Was he helping him or was insulting him?! Kyojuro pointed to his puffed cheeks and called him that again, well, that was enough!
'I thought we were going to get revenge on Giyuu...' 'I'm just telling the truth, you only need one romper to be a giant-sized baby.'
Giyuu snorted, normally these interactions between the two friends were quite funny, and they didn't understand why they didn't do them more often...
Oh wait, that was why, because those two always started to tickle someone and after that they just went away.
'Well Tomioka, I guess you know what's next, right?' 'Yeah, I'm surprised you haven't done something before...'
'Ooooh?', both hashiras raised their eyebrows. Did that mean, that Giyuu wanted that revenge to have happened sooner?
Or maybe he just accepted the fact that a "tickle monster" doesn't forget. 'My my Tomioka! Well, Kyojuro, what if you do the honors?'
'W-Wait... I didn't start with raspberries! Don't be unf...! AHAHAHAHAHA!!'
Going straight for the kill, huh? Although Giyuu was right, he didn't start like that, maybe he started with his worst spots, but he gave them enough time and a little warning of what was next, so did Giyuu have the right to complain, or maybe not?. 'Ow! Tomioka! Be careful or you're going to dislocate my nose!'
'I'M SOHOHORRY!! AAAAH!! O-oh my gohohod... Yohohou dohonehehe...?'
'What? If we're done? Oh Tomioka, this is just the beginning! Let's make a deal!', Giyuu shook his head, a deal between those two was not good at all.
But we already know what those are like, they are quite "persuasive"...
Giyuu had no choice but to accept, if with that he could prevent them from continuing to blow raspberries on his tummy and neck, everything would be fine. 'Okahahahay... What's the deal...?'
'More than a deal it's a game that Kyojuro and I play from time to time, we call it "the 5 questions challenge". If you answer a question wrong, you'll get a nice round of raspberries and if you answer correctly, you'll have a few minutes to catch your breath... So, do you accept or not?'
Giyuu hesitated, he had never heard that game, but well, I ended up agreeing, on the condition that they be gentle, but we all know that won't happen.
'I think they must be questions that Giyuu can answer!'
'Done.... And I think I know which ones are appropriate~' 'I don't like that face and tone of voice... Why do you...? Mhmhmhmhm!!', do you think you have an idea of what the questions are? No? Well, let's find out!
They started with light pokes, just enough to make him laugh and not try to escape. It was time for the first question...
'Okay Tomioka, first question! Who's a ticklish baby...~?', Tengen laughed as Giyuu's face immediately turned red
It was no secret that Giyuu could NEVER help but blush at that childish talk, it didn't bother him, but he was a little embarrassed to have to admit certain things.
'I-Ihihihit's...!! Oh mahahahan, I cahahan't!!' 'Come on Tomioka! If you can't answer or don't answer the question correctly, you know what happens...~'
Giyuu shook his head, it was quite embarrassing for him, but what options did he have?
Whatever it was, he had to say the answer quickly, because Tengen and Kyojuro giving each other a knowing look was not a good sign.
'Okahahahay!! It's me!! Ihihit's meee!!' 'Correct answer! Okay, second question Tomioka! Do you like songs?!'
Giyuu stared at Rengoku. "You like songs"? What kind of question was that? One second... Songs, songs... Songs...?! Giyuu immediately shook his head, he felt that if either of them sang at that moment, he would snort and scream.
Kyojuro tsked and also shook his head in disapproval, indicating that the answer was incorrect. 'Ooooow Tomioka, but you were doing well! You don't like the songs? Then why do you always sing to Muichiro to sleep? You even sing with the Kocho girls!'
'Thahahat is dihihifferehehehent!! Plehahasehe!! Nohohot... AHAHAHA HAHAHA!!'
He didn't have time to respond, he always forgot that liars were punished with raspberries...
At least he felt safe having a uniform to protect him, but even with the uniform, the sensations ran through his entire body, making him tense. 'Well well, it seems we have a liar. Although maybe something has happened and that's why Tomioka now hates singing, I'll make her love it again!'
'WHAAAAT?! PLEHAHASEHE!! NOHOHOT THE SOHOHONGS!!' 'There are so many songs... Ooooh, how about my favorite? Itsy bitsy spider, he spun his web~', Giyuu shouted.
His idea was that if he screamed enough, he wouldn't hear Rengoku sing as he tortuously slid his fingers along each of the spaces between his ribs.
He could justify it by saying that it was the consecutive raspberries that made him scream, but when they stopped, he didn't know what excuse to give.
'Itsy bitsy spider, he climbed again...~ did you know that there was also an obstacle for our little friend?!'
'Ooooh? I didn't know! Tell us more about that Kyo!' 'Nooooo!! Okay!! I lied!! Yehehehes, I lihikehehehe the sohohongs!! I lihihikehehe ihihit!!'
They both wanted to give him a break, but without losing the sensation, so they used gentle tickling again, which Giyuu seemed to like. 'Aaaaw! Tomioka, do you like this feeling?!'
'Ihihit fehehels nihicehehehe! That co-countehehed as ahahaha the third quehehehestihihohon?!'
'Eeeeem, I think so! Hahahaha, how silly of me, but it's always good to ask for convenience!', Tengen laughed but nodded.
Although Giyuu had wanted the tickling to continue that way, there were still two questions left to answer...
Maybe if he answered correctly, they would gladly tickle him again.
'Very good! Fourth question! Do you like raspberries?!' 'Y-yehehes...'
Both Kyojuro and Tengen got excited, they already knew the answer, but still, the excitement of the moment, you could say.
Giyuu began to take a breath, he had already accepted his taste so, surely, they would give him some raspberries before continuing with the last question. 'Correct answer. You see? It's quite fun, isn't it? Kyojuro, ready?'
'I was born ready!', Giyuu wrinkled his neck in anticipation and closed his eyes, which he opened when he felt someone grab him by the sides.
Rengoku crouched down and began to inhale almost at the same time as Tengen, so that eventually they both blew a raspberry on his neck and tummy.
But unlike others, this one was not so tortuous, did it tickle you? Yes, obviously, but not to the point of becoming hysterical, he liked the feeling. 'Okahahahay!! Finahahal quehesiohohon!! Guhuhuys!! Cohomehehe ohohohon!! Ehehehehehe!!! Plehahasehe!!'
'Sorry sorry, we got excited! Well, last question...' 'Did you like it?'
He had to admit, even though at certain moments he thought he would die, the feeling was very pleasant, so he nodded, laughing when they both caressed his head.
'Well, our revenge is done! See you soon dear Tomioka!' 'Eeeeh, you don't have to leave yet... If you don't mind, could you continue...?'
Giyuu looked away, he had said it and there was no going back. Both hashiras smiled at him, sitting on the floor and complying with Giyuu's request. Without a doubt, the second best revenge that Giyuu has suffered

Jee-Yuns' Playtime
Jee-Yun centric cause she needs love! She's adorable😭, also I'm basing her personality off Lily from Modern Family and the stories of her going to daycare/pre-school and meeting kids whilst getting into mischief. No coherent storyline, just funny tidbits I think would happen when she ultimately goes to school.
Tumblr media
After Jee-Yun turned four, Maddie and Chim decided she was ready for preschool(Hen convinced them too). The first few days had been great. The teachers and caretakers were super helpful and reported that she was on her best behavior. Wouldn't fuss when told no and wouldn't throw a tantrum when naptime was supposed to happen.
Everything was great. Till it wasn't. Which, okay, Maddie and Chim were dramatic, but to be fair they didn't expect her to be an imp this early. At least in front of others.
"She what?"
"She put a kid in time out." Mrs.Niamh answered smiling humorously.
"How?/Why?" The Buckley-Han parents wondered. Smiling brighter, trying not to laugh, Mrs.Niamh replied.
"He tried putting glitter on the floor and she caught him. Walked opposite of the room, yanked the glitter bottle out of his hands, and said, 'You'll get it back when you stop trying to sparkle the room! Go in the book corner!'." Makes sense. Jee-Yun hated glitter. It offended her to the core. One time Maddie tried putting some glitter in her fair for a small party with the firehouse crew and Jee ran to the garden hose and sprayed the glitter out of her hair.
Other parents would be mad, obviously, but Maddie couldn't help but be impressed that she efficiently undid her tight hair and didn't get her clothes wet. Gotta recognize the tenacity I guess.
-------------------------------------------
"Mason was crying today."
"Oh no, how come?"
"Someone put sand in his hair." The dead tone in her voice was surprisingly enjoyable for the adults. Especially with something random or just outright sad. She was like Lily from Modern Family. Except, not a little bitch. No shade to her though, she's iconic.
"Awh, poor Mason. Did you help him get it out?" The silence was the only answer Maddie received. Raising a brow, Maddie turned slightly to her kid in the living room. Who was sitting on the floor drawing random things on the coffee table. "Jee?"
"I might have, been the one to put it in his hair." Not looking up but slowly coloring the mini poodle she drew. Pursing her lips, Maddie huffed through her nose trying not to break. She needed to set an example.
"Oh. Why?"
"He was in the way." Maddie has a few weaknesses. This was one of them.
-------------------------------------------
Dropping off Jee-Yun and Nia along with the boys at Athena and Bobby's was an idea. Whether it was a good idea was still up to debate between Chim and Buck. Anyway, Christmas was three weeks away and Athena liked to decorate early so they wouldn't stress about it later. So she got Harry, Christopher, Denny, and the girls to help out.
While the Denny worked on the garlands, Chris and Harry helped the girls put the ornaments on the lower part of the tree. Athena was working on the taller bits. Nia was being organized, moving some around if it didn't look proportional in her brain. Jee-Yun on the other hand couldn't care less for symmetry.
Looking down Athena laughed at the scene beneath her. Chris was handing Jee ornaments while she placed them where she wanted. And what she wanted was 9 ornaments on the same branch. Taking a quick picture, Athena sent it to the family group chat and was bombarded with 'awes'.
-------------------------------------------
During Spring the kids were able to go outside and enjoy nature in the backyard of their daycare. Jee-Yun was playing with ladybugs she found in the grass in the corner while the other kids were running around near the jungle gym and swings.
When she felt something hit her head, she rubbed the top of it and looked around. A branch had fallen from the tree in front of her. Looking up at it, Jee-Yun wondered what it would be like to be that high up. So she set out to find out.
Gripping the crevices of the tree as best she could she climbed up without letting any of her teachers notice. Once up to the top she looked around and saw the city buildings in the distance. Yawning, she realized she was tired and leaned backward on the tree closing her eyes. A small nap couldn't hurt, right?
It could be if your dad was a firefighter and your mom was a first responder. When the teacher noticed that the girl with purple shoes wasn't in her favorite corner of the classroom, she immediately informed someone. And that someone called 911. And the person who answered was May.
Who glanced over at Maddie enjoying her lunch peacefully. Yeah no, keep quiet for now till they get someone on it. And that they did, the 118 that is. Chim getting shot was less stressful than this. He was the one who convinced Maddie to leave his little girl at the daycare to relieve the stress on them and the team.
"Chim you gotta focus or you're staying near the truck," Bobby said firmly despite his worries building.
When arriving parents were already picking up their kids. Ignoring the children awing them, they walked over to the teacher who initially reported the missing girl.
"I only noticed till the last 30 minutes, how she slipped my view I don't know. She's always very outspoken!"
This was true. Jee-Yun was a force of nature that the world wasn't ready for.
"The last time I saw her was outside in the back near the jungle gym. I got distracted with other students." Chim didn't blame her, he didn't, but his dad mode was kicking up and he didn't want to be near her right now. Instead, he veered off with Ravi following him to look around the fence to ensure none of it was clipped or open.
As the others called out, Hen looked up at the rustle in the leaves. Getting directly underneath she looked up and saw little feet dangling.
"Jee!" She yelled out multiple times gathering the attention of her team.
"No sarang, ireona!" Chim yelled in Korean waking up the girl successfully. Rubbing her eyes, she looked down and saw her family beneath her.
"Hi, Daddy!"
Breathing out a sigh of relief, the team got the ladder and got her down.
"Wanna explain why you gave your teacher a heart attack by climbing a tree?"
"I wanted to know what it would be like to be a branch. And I was sleepy."
Laughing at her explanation, the teacher thanked them, farewelled the 2/3 Buckley-Han duo, and left. Putting Jee-Yun in the fire truck was a fun car ride back to the station.
When they told the story to Maddie back home, they all laughed while watching Turning Red. Chim couldn't help but compare the girl in overalls to his passionate and blunt daughter.

Hi! Been loving your blog and writing!
I really like your characterization and opinions of A.ang. It’s nice to read fan fic and blogs that just gets it. Down the road and back again was just *chef’s kiss*. (Also uncharted waters I’m loving! I never know what to expect and each chapter is so good)
Anyways I was wondering if you have any head cannon’s of what a K.ataang marriage would look like? For me I imagine it being it being extremely passive aggressive, also A.ang is really selfish so that definitely would hurt their marriage. It’s kind of like the opposite side of the toxic coin with M.aiko being a screaming match and in your face constantly breaking up, K.ataang would be toxic but it’s quite and they would try to save face in public. I don’t know What do you think?
I kind of touched on it in Choices and Consequences, but I picture it being a lot of Katara swallowing her feelings and being a single mother to four children. I don't believe she was ever actually in love with Aang. She may have tried to tell herself she was, but I think the only reason she ended up with Aang is because she felt like she owed him. Kataang was unhealthy on both their parts, and while I do tend to focus on Aang (because he's awful, and I will not ever stop pointing that out), I think Katara was guilty of putting him on a pedestal. She knew the Avatar would save the world, and I think that's why she ignored Aang's flaws. Everyone wanted to end the war, but for her, it was a deeply intense and personal desire, and the Avatar would be the one to deliver that. It's a lot of pressure to put on a 12 year old who grew up slow in a world without war, and she knew that. On some level, Katara was aware of how much pressure Aang was under, which is why I think she was so insistent on everyone being gentle with him, even though they didn't have that kind of time. Then when he actually did end the war (he didn't, at least not alone, but the show refused to give credit where it was due) Katara felt some sort of obligation towards him and called it love.
Katara is a smart, passionate girl, and she would've wanted a partner who would appreciate that and respect her thoughts, feelings and opinions. The glimpses of her relationship with Aang in the early comics show me that she didn't have that with him. Aang didn't respect her feelings over those of his fangirls. He ignored her discomfort, and even thanked her for understanding why he needed to connect with those girls who were being horribly disrespectful because "sharing his culture"🤮. It wasn't their treatment of her that upset him. It was them doing something that offended him personally.
Meanwhile, Katara had to swallow her own feelings and smile through it all. That's how I see their relationship going. I think Katara might have convinced herself that he respected her thoughts and opinions because he relied on her as a caregiver and he took her everywhere, but I think as he grew into his own, he would've expected her to step back and be contented to be a homemaker/broodmare while he did the important Avatar work, which is why I think Katara wasn't present in that scene in LoK where bloodbending was banned, even though she was ostensibly the only other bloodbender in the world, but Aang was front and center. It's also my theory on why when Aang was about to go all in on pushing for anti-miscegenation, instead of her telling him that it would be a bad idea because of the effects it would have on the families and communities Aang would be separating, she appealed to how it would affect him.
I don't think their marriage would be passive aggressive. I think Katara would just make herself as small as possible and do her best to keep the Avatar happy and on track because that's what she owed him. She'd have moments of acknowledging her deep unhappiness and regret, but she wouldn't dwell on it. And she would convince herself she was content to be a devoted wife and mother, and nothing else.

Warnings: angsty as HELL. I'm sorry in advance 🙏
Rainwater
If you told Scout that he would move out of Manhattan and go to Summerville with his brother, not only lose his brother, but also losing all contact with the people he considered family well...he wouldn't believe you.
He would call you crazy and say that "There is no plausible way that would ever happen." and call it a day.
Unfortunately for him, that was all true. After Egon passed away, he became recluse. Well, more than he already was. He wanted to desperately try to get into contact with his friends again but after some nasty things being said on both sides, mainly between Peter and himself, he knew it was pointless to even think about trying.
So he didn't talk to them again as a result. Hell, he never really talked to many other people anymore. But, it still hurt him to see his friends just leave him all alone after the good times they had spent together.
The only ones he really kept in contact with was his beloved niece Callie and her children Phoebe and Trevor. Though sometimes he could hardly look any of them in the eye. They all reminded him of Egon in some way or another. But he pushed through the pain and loss, then he began to finish what Egon and him started to work on.
With the high risks of Gozer coming back into the picture and possibly destroying life itself, Scout believed that it was up to him and only him to finish things once and for all.
Tumblr media
The Ecto drives down a long dirt road that led to a decent sized house in the middle of nowhere. It was a nice sunny day, well it would be nice if the looming rift storm wasn't mocking everyone and spreading a feeling of doom.
In the passengers seat was Phoebe, Trevor was driving while Ray, Peter and Winston were in the backseat. The air was tense.
"Are you sure this will work? That we can convince him?" Treavor asked. Phoebe only sighed and shrugged "I don't know. But it's worth a try." She looks ahead at the house that is getting closer "Besides, either way, we NEED him for this. He and Egon knew more about this situation than we do." The three men in the back just silently nodded, only slightly listening. Winston took it up on himself to break the tension "Well.." he paused "Here's hoping this won't lead to any funerals." He joked trying to lift the mood. He didn't get any responses.
Tumblr media
The car parks in front of the house, it was a cozy cottage home with a chain link fence and a gate surrounding the front yard. There was an old fashioned car parked near the side of the home, a doghouse could be seen slightly next to a large shed in the backyard that also had fencing around it.
Everyone gets out and the first thing they hear is a dog barking.
It was a golden retriever, it looked more happy to see people instead of hostile. Treavor smiled knowing who this is and quickly opened the gate and crouched down to start petting the dog while everyone else got in and closed the gate.
"Hey there Rook!" Treavor said while petting the dog's soft fluffy fur "Do you know where your dad is?" He asked. Rook whined in excitement and her tail started to wag as she quickly ran to the front door. She was very intelligent, Scout had trained her well when he got her as a puppy.
The OG Ghostbusters where surprised to see that Scout owned a dog. They never thought he would ever own an animal before.
Vinkman, being the snarky man he is, decided to poke fun at this "Of course he would prefer an animal's company over people's." He said sarcastically as the others rolled their eyes and shook their heads at his antics. "Well, I think it's sweet that he has a dog!" Ray spoke with enthusiasm.
Trevor finds the spare key that was hidden in under the welcome mat that said "Why can't you trust Adams? Because they make everything up!" on it and unlocked the front door.
Everyone took a deep breath as the door opened and they went inside. Rook ran inside and went to lay down on her dog bed next to the couch that had various chew toys on it.
As the door shut behind them, they took a good look around the living room. There was a small sofa with a coffee table in front of it there were many pages of notes scattered around it. There was a dresser with a small T.V. that was playing a random game show on low volume. There was also an old grandfather clock near a window, the ticking noise was loud compared to anything else. The windows where blocked with blackout curtains, keeping the privacy of anyone inside.
Peter whistled lowly, "Would you look at this boys." He said while pointing at a wardrobe that held Scout's old tan, Ghostbusters uniform on a hanger. It was left unwrinkled, the patches that had the iconic Ghostbusters logo, "Spengler" was still embroidered onto the chest area and a few other patches that Egon had gifted to him that had a stupid science pun on it or some flower or plant ones where slightly faded due to time.
Ray got the other's attention "He still kept it." He said in awe while he pointed to the photo they had all taken together. They were all on the staircase of the firehouse, Winston and Ray where on the near the bottom while Egon and Scout were a few steps above them. Peter was on the ground leaning against the railing with a smug smile on his face. They all looked so happy in the photo. After it was taken Scout said that he looked stupid in that photo, he said he wouldn't keep it but it looks like he changed his mind.
Next to it was another photo, but it was of just Egon and Scout. They were standing side by side, smiling wide while Scout was holding a smoking ghost trap. In a hasty scribble, courtesy of Egon, the words 'Scout's First Catch' was written at the bottom. "And that one too." Winston said while pointing to the photo of the siblings. They all remembered how proud Egon was that day.
Next to the wardrobe, was a display case that gave anyone a full view of his protron pack. Surprisingly, it was still in a functioning condition and it looked like a few parts were repaired and replaced with newer more 'modern' technology.
The group was broken out of their thoughts when a loud thud came from the room upstairs, followed by a loud and slightly muffled 'FUCK'.
They all slowly made their way up the stairs until they got to a door that had signs that said 'keep out' or 'do not disturb' on them. They all look at each other and Phoebe knocks on the door.
"It's open!" The slightly muffled voice shouted. She opens the door and they boys are shocked at what they see. On the walls, there are various equations, diagrams, graphs and charts sloppily pinned to numerous bulletin boards.
A few tables where filled with various scrap parts and books. Though what shocked them the most was the state that Scout was in. He was hunched over the work desk, scribbling furiously on the paper and sometimes turning his attention to the new ghost trap he was working on. His hair was decently grey and from what they could see right now, he had grown out a short bear due to the obvious lack of proper grooming.
He was also wearing a loose fitting pair of sweatpants and a large T-shirt that looked too big for him.
They all slowly walk over to him, and they took a better look at him. His once healthy skin was now pailer, his eyes were tired and slightly sunken in due to a lack of a stable sleep schedule. He more or less looked like a zombie, but a tad bit more functional.
The man in front of the senses their presence, he clears his throat "It's rude to stare you know?" Scout says in his classic monotonic tone. His voice was slightly scratchy due to a lack of use.
Phoebe nervously picks at her fingers and takes a deep breath "Grunkle Scout?" She asked timidly. He hums in response as he was still focused more on the trap. Phoebe looks to Treavor and he takes over for her "We have some people who want to see you." Scout scoffs, his annoyance clearly showing through "If it's the cops again tell them I'm..." He turns around in his chair and when he sees the other three Ghostbusters, he stops talking. His expression falls falt as he looks at his Grand Niece and Nephew "Phoebe....Treavor..." He points to the trio "What are they doing here?" He hisses, not wanting to see them.
The boys flinch at the harsh tone so Ray tries to start the conversation, "Scout, listen I know you are upset-" "Upset is an understatement Stantz. But go on." Scout cuts off his former friend but signals him to continue. They all cringe when he uses Ray's last name instead of just calling him Ray.
"But, we really need your help with this." He pleaded "Please. I know we all didn't leave on the...best of terms..." He paused looking for the right words to say "But you know the most about what is happening out there. So please, we will do anything! Anything at all to have you help us." He begged.
The room fell silent, the tension was building as Scout thought up a response. He got up from his chair slowly, and approached them as he got up close and personal. There was hard silence as everyone braced for whatever was about to be said.
A stone cold look was on his face and his eyes were unreadable. They haven't seen him like this since college.
"No."
It was a short and quiet response. But to everyone else, it was the loudest thing in the room. Phoebe and Trevor were internally panicking. Winston and Ray held the most sadness in their eyes, but Peter...Oh boy Peter was pissed. And in classic Venkman fashion, he wasn't going to keep his mouth shut.
"So, let me get this straight." He started pointed to Scout "You. Are going to just let Gozer come in here and casually destroy the entire universe?" Scout only crossed his arms, not budging on his words.
Peter scoffed and shrugged "And for what? To be petty and bitter?" He continues to poke and prod hoping to get a response.
"Peter." Winston tried to stop him before it escalated to far "No!" Peter shouted startling everyone except Scout. He knew he would throw some sort of tantrum, he expected as much. "Im not gonna take 'no' as a good answer!" He grabbed the collar of Scout's shirt tightly. Despite the hight difference he had a pretty good grip on him.
"I want you to give me a good reason why." He said while slightly shaking the younger man, slightly getting in his face while he talked.
Scout's face contorted with anger as he harshly yanked Peter's hands off of him. He was pissed. He took a long shaky breath as he tried to compose himself "You want a real answer?" He asked rage slowly coating each word. "I'll give you a good reason." He said while he started to pace "First off, you called us crazy when we said that there was a high probability of Gozer coming back." He waved his arms around while he talked. He was an animated talker no matter what "Second off," he abruptly stopped pacing and pointed at his three former colleagues "You! You all left me alone when I needed you the most!" He shouted. His emotions overwhelming him "I was so scared, when Egon died. I wanted...no...NEEDED someone to turn to but NO!" He started to shout. He was getting emotional, all the stress, grief and rage he had collected over the years coming out all at once
"I NEEDED YOU! I NEEDED THE PEOPLE WHO I TRUSTED THE MOST! AND WHAT DO YOU DO?!" At this point tears where sliding down his face "YOU LEFT ME! THAT'S...That's what you did." He finished his rant. Furiously wiping away the tears of rage, anger and sadness from his face. He didn't like crying in front of people.
He was shaking, crying and on the verge of a panic attack. The boys where stunned at the amount of emotion he had shown. Not in a million years did they think that Scout Spengler was capable of showing this much emotion all at once.
Scout took a shaky breath and slouched slightly "So there. There's your reasons why." He whispered. Any other words being said where interrupted by the violent shake in the ground.
Everyone looked out of the windows of the attic to see the ever growing storm was rapidly growing. Rook was heard barking and whining in distress downstairs. "Dear God." Scout whispered in disbelief. His glasses slightly fogged up from all of the tears.
"What's going on out there?" Winston asked. Scout's focus was on the source of the storm "The portal is opening. All defences have been broken through." He said hastily while running his hands through his long messy hair in distress.
He thought for a moment then sighed "Fine, I'll help." Everyone sighed of relief "But I'm not doing it for you." He looked at his former friends "I'm doing it for them." He motioned twaords Phoebe and Trevor.
Though there was a small part of him that was doing it for the three of them as well, even if he wouldn't say so.
He still cares about them, even after all this time, and all they went through to get to this point.

Invisible Ties, Silken Ties Part 1

Aemond Targaryen x maid!reader x OFC (Elayna Reyne), Aemond x OFC, Tyland Lannister x OFC, eventual all four sdsdsdsd
Warnings: NSFT (PiV, BDSM dynamics, voyeurism, semi-public sex, implied collaring, Aemond likes being called King)
Word count: 2.9k
Author's note: So this first part is mostly plot with voyeurism. The next part will absolutely have the threesome. Also. Reblogs and comments will make me fall in love with you ❤️
You shouldn't have done this. The thought weighs heavily on your mind as you make your way through the corridors. You shouldn't have done this.
Well. It wasn't exactly as if you had a choice in the matter. You had been sent to King's Landing as part of a wedding gift from Tyland and Jason's younger brother, Tymon. At least, that was your understanding until Lord Tymon approached you the night before you were set to leave.
“I understand you might be upset at this turn of events.” Tymon stands up. He paces towards you. “But. I have no one else I can turn to.”
You try to keep your face blank and the picture of civility.
“Don't.” Tymon nearly coos. It sends a strange sort of shiver up your spine. “I would be upset too. I just...” He pauses. “You have always been a good and faithful servant to us, and this is sensitive. So sensitive I cannot ask this of anyone else.” He gives you an imploring look.
“What is it, Ser?” You have a sinking feeling in your gut.
"I have one thing to ask of you." Tymon places his finger under your chin. He lifts your chin up so you look him in the eye. "It's simple."
Your heart beat thunders in your chest. "What is it, ser?"
"Before I tell you, you must promise not to tell anyone." He nearly purrs. A brief, dark look crosses over his face. "The reputation of my family may be at stake."
"Of course."
"I need you to keep an eye on the future Lady Lannister. Not for my sake but for my brother's sake."
You knit your brow in confusion.
"I'm not sure I understand, Ser."
"Of course you wouldn't." Tymon pats your cheek. "You're loyal." He steps even closer to you. His green eyes almost sparkle. "You know my brother, Tyland? He's... dull, which means he's never been subject to a lady's schemes. I fear my old friend may be trying to use my older brother. I'm not sure if it's for money or wealth or fame. I find I cannot trust her intentions. So. I need you to make sure she does not take advantage of him." Tymon tilts his head. "It would be his first heartbreak, and I wish to spare him the same sort of pain she caused me."
Your breath catches in your throat.
"Did she break your heart?"
He nods. "Yes, she was to be my betrothed. Instead of staying true, she ran off to King's Landing where she met my brother. At first I thought she chose him because of a perceived slight, but I'm beginning to think she's using him. She's good friends with Prince Aemond. I..." Tymon pauses. He presses his lips together. "I shouldn't say what I'm thinking. She is to be family."
You frown despite yourself. He does seem betrayed, a level of hurt lurking beneath the surface you've felt before.
"You want to spare your brother the heart ache." You echo his earlier words. Tymon slowly smiles.
"You understand me."
You were to spy. The thought did not sit well with you, but what choice did you have in the matter? Surely, if you were to spy, other maids might be there to spy on you as well.
It doesn't help you like Lady Elayna. At first, you are hesitant to meet her. Lannisters never seemed to go for truly nice women. Elayna is different. She does not treat you with indifference or act as if you are invisible. She does not treat you with cruelty either. She is... nice in a genuine way.
It almost feels like a betrayal knowing you are to spy on her. Eventually, you try to forget those were your directives at all.
The memory weighs on your mind every time you watch Elayna interact with the middle Prince. The two were close, no one could deny that. Yet you did not think she was being unfaithful. Both Tyland and Prince Aemond seemed constant fixtures in her life.
Every morning, Elayna get ups and goes to the Sept first thing. She dresses herself but has you do her hair in a simple braid. Most mornings, she goes by herself, but others Tyland waits at her door to escort her.
While Elayna is at the Sept, you arr given an odd task. Every morning, whether it was when he came to escort Elayna to the Sept or when she was at her prayers, Tyland comes by her rooms. He informs you of the outfits Elayna was to wear that day, down to the jewelry.
At first you think it odd, but you never question it. Part of why you didn't was simply because Elayna did not seem to mind. Another part of you wonders. Tyland Lannister has a reputation as a boring, dull man. Picking out his wife's clothes every day doesn't seem like the trait of a boring man.
After her prayers, you dress Elayna in the first chosen outfit. She then goes to watch Prince Aemond spar. You and another maid clean Elayna’s room. If you finish everything an hour before noon, you have a break. Every day, an hour before lunch, Elayna comes back to her rooms. You dress her in the second outfit of the day. She then goes to lunch with her betrothed. About mid-afternoon she changes once more for whatever event she had in the evening. At this point, she lets you go.
“I won't keep you up all night.” She explains.
You notice other odd things. For starters, every time Elayna sees Prince Aemond in the afternoon, she comes back without her necklace on. Lord Tyland is adamant Elayna wear a gold necklace every day. Some of the necklaces look more like a collar in your opinion. You never say anything.
Those necklaces always go missing by the end of the day.
Roella, the other main maid of Lady Elayna's, tells you her theories. She tends to Elayna at night. Most of the time you don't lend credence to what she says. You honestly doubt Prince Aemond could be in Elayna’s room and suddenly disappear when Roella came by.
Eventually, your curiosity gets the better of you. You and Roella, along with some of the other maids, are deep cleaning Elayna’s room. It is a little over a moon's time before Elayna is to be married, and her family is going to be here soon. You and Roella stand at a large basin of water, cleaning Elayna’s sheets.
“Are... are the Prince and Lady Elayna as close as the rumors say?” You keep your gaze cast down. A particular spot on the silk sheets catches your interest.
Roella snorts.
"Oh, they've been fucking. It's a secret to them higher folk, but us maids know. You'll know soon enough." She waggles her eyebrows.
You frown.
"What do you mean the higher folk don't know?" You question. Roella snorts.
"Everyone thinks they are, but no one can provide evidence. Even Larys can't make anything stick, and he can sniff out shit faster than a pig."
A couple other maids titter.
"We'll know once she has a babe. I'd wager money they'll come out with silver hair." Someone says.
"So? Tyland is blond. Depending on how light the babe's hair is, they might pass."
"I heard her future husband is in on it and that's why it doesn't stay." Another maid, Sarae you think, chimes in. "Would explain a lot."
"Oh, now you're just talkin' nonsense. That's just as likely as them who says Elayna gave ol' Clubfoot a foot job for his silence."
"It's true! You remember Marissa? She supposedly went to Ser Tyland and suddenly! She was Aegon's maid. Her Majesty gave Marissa the boot within three moons."
Some of the maids shudder. You give Roella an inquiring look. She shakes her head.
"Be careful 'round Aegon. He's got an appetite on him. Ain't exactly polite about it neither." She begins pulling the sheets out of the soapy water. "Lady Elayna will protect you. I think she's been waiting for a chance to have a go at 'im."
The gossip turns to other subjects. You can't help being stuck on this one. So far, Elayna seemed the picture of a lady. She certainly didn't seem like the type to do such a thing. She had her mischievous streak, but she was still young.
Roella's words turn out to be a prophecy. You did know not too long after.
Soft noises come from within the Small Council's chamber. You frown. Everyone should be at the festivities. It was Aegon's name day, and while people had differing opinions about the Prince, everyone knew a party in his name would include much debauchery. You saw everyone on the Council downstairs, and you know the doors are often locked to prevent people from sneaking in during events like this.
You inch towards the heavy doors. It's sheerly curiosity getting the better of you.
A low moan comes from between the heavy wooden doors. Soon, a satisfied yet mischievous feminine laugh follows. You stop dead in your tracks. Even though you haven't seen anything, your eyes grow wide.
It must be Aegon in there, surely it is just Aegon in there with some noble lady who thinks she might curry favor. You try to make your feet move. You aren't sure why, but you can't seem to move. Maybe... maybe it's because the laugh somehow seems familiar.
"Oh." A gasp cuts through the air. "My King!"
You stare at the doors in amazement and fear. The voice was absolutely Elayna’s, that much was clear. You had thought Tymon had been lying to you, trying to make you paranoid and fear Elayna, but it truly seems as if she might be disgracing his elder brother by laying with another man. You bite your bottom lip. Surely. Surely it wasn't with Aegon? She seemed to barely tolerate him.
Your feet move suddenly and of their own volition. Oh. You know. You know you should not peek to see. Elayna would never forgive you if she felt you had betrayed her trust, but you have to know. You have to see exactly who it is. You creep towards the doors.
What you see through the cracks takes you by surprise.
Elayna lays on the table, her skirts bunched at her waist. You do see silver hair between her legs, just as you feared, but it is not Aegon's short curls. Instead, Aemond's long hair gleams in the moonlight. It's mussed, no doubt from Elayna keeping Aemond's head pressed to her center. Aemond's right arm moves. You can see his bicep flex with small movements, but his right forearm flexes the most. You can't see his fingers since they disappear in front of him. You don't need to, not with the noises falling from Elayna’s mouth and the slick sounds of her arousal echoing in the room.
Shame tries to take hold of your body. You can't move. You're mesmerized by the sight in front of you. Aemond brings his left hand up from under Elayna's thigh. He places it up on top of her leg. Elayna sits up some. She reaches out and takes hold of his free hand. She leans on her left elbow more to compensate. Her breasts threaten to spill out from her dress. Elayna attempts several times to thread her fingers through Aemond's. Whatever he is doing with his mouth and opposite hand must be extraordinary because Elayna's whole body shakes.
"Aemond." She whines.
The sounds stop abruptly. Aemond pulls back. Is it just your imagination, or can you actually see strands of Elayna’s arousal on his mouth? Your heart beats loudly against your chest.
" 'Tis not my name tonight." Aemond's voice is low. The fingers on Elayna’s thigh tap on her skin with barely restrained displeasure.
"My King." Elayna presses herself fully up to sitting. It takes her several tries. Aemond outright smirks.
Could he... could he do that to you? Could he render you that immobile from pleasure? Certainly just watching him makes it seem that he can.
"My King." Elayna's chest heaves. She sits fully upright now. "My King, I just wanted to hold your hand."
"And what makes you think you deserve that?" Despite being on his knees, Aemond clearly holds all the power. Elayna arches an eyebrow. Her attempt at imperiousness falls flat with how flustered she clearly is.
"I clearly did enough to deserve your mouth. I don't see why I should do more just to hold your ha-"
A loud, wet smack sounds. You jump at it, placing both your hands over your chest. Elayna nearly comes up off the table. Aemond slowly stands up. The two of them stare at each other.
"I will not tolerate insolence tonight." Aemond murmurs. His hands grip the edge of the table, knuckles going white. You find yourself breathing as hard as Elayna is. It almost feels as if your breathes are in sync with hers.
"I'm sorry, My King." Elayna pushes towards him.
"Yes, you tend to be sorry when I smack your greedy cunt."
You barely stop your jaw from falling to the floor. You wouldn't have expected Aemond to talk like that. Certainly, you didn't expect for him to sound so confident and domineering. Your pulse races throughout your entire body like wildfire. Carefully, you inch closer.
"I truly did not mean to be a brat, My King." Elayna looks up at him from underneath her eyelashes. Aemond snorts derisively.
"And yet you were."
Despite his cold tone, you can see Aemond move to unlace his britches. Elayna lets her gaze drop to the movement of his hands. She swallows.
"Do you think you deserve this cock?" Aemond's whole arm moves now, a slow steady motion. It sets your whole body ablaze and your brain spinning. Elayna nods fervently. "Beg for it, then."
"Please, my King. I want it." Elayna bats her eyelashes. She tries to place her calves around Aemond's waist. Aemond takes hold of both her calves and pushes them up and back towards her.
"You said you weren't going to be a brat." His voice is iron and steel. Desire pools in your stomach. Without realize it, you palm one of your breasts over your shift. The other drops down slowly.
" 'm sorry!" Elayna nearly whines. To see the normally proud Elayna reduced to this state makes you pulse around nothing. Aemond makes a sound as if he doesn't believe her. "Please. Please my King. I want your cock, need your cock."
Elayna’s begging goes straight to your head. You move your hand further down so you can press the heel of your palm against your public bone. You nearly paw at your own breast.
The more you listen, the wetter you get. You don't even register what you're doing until your hand has dipped beneath your skirts and small clothes.
"I'm not sure you deserve it." Aemond murmurs. Elayna outright whines.
“I do! I've been good!”
You circle your clit. Fuck. You know you shouldn't be doing this, but you can't help it. Your breath catches in your throat at the same time Elayna’s does. You see Aemond take hold of both of Elayna’s thighs and press them towards her body. For a second, it looks as if he might push her fully down onto the table. He doesn't. Instead, much to your surprise, Elayna’s ankles end up braced on his shoulders.
Pure lust races through your body. You slip one finger inside of you. You watch with baited breath. Aemond and Elayna moan and sigh at the same time. Elayna's hands wrap themselves around the back of Aemond's neck.
For a minute, all you can see is them. Aemond thrusts into Elayna. At first, it seems controlled. Eventually he loses his composure. His hair almost bounces with each movement of his hips. Elayna's thigh jiggle with each smack of Aemond's hips. Her fingers go from just resting on the nape of his neck to clawing his back. They're both still fully clothed, so all she manages to do is wrinkle his shirt.
The table squeaks with each harsh thrust. Elayna openly moans. You try to keep rhythm with Aemond, to use the sound of the table to keep time, but it's difficult. Eventually, you give up and keep your own pace with your fingers. You can tell they're whispering to each other, but you can't make out what they're saying. You don't think you could even if your blood wasn't pounding in your ears.
Elayna's punched out moans and Aemond's grunts make you wetter and wetter. It sounds like a perfect harmony. You try to curl your fingers just right. You have to slide down the door some in order to get a better angle. You look through the gap in the door again to see what exactly they're doing to each other.
Over Aemond's shoulder, you notice. Your blood goes from boiling to freezing with a matter of seconds. Elayna is looking at you.
She sees you.
Her kiss-bruised lips curl into a predatory expression. Your eyes widen in fear. Quickly, you pull your fingers out of yourself. The squelch is embarrassing, adding even more humiliation to the moment. You begin to stumble away, trying not to knock into anything as you walk backwards. Your pulse now thunders with fear. When you look up, you see Elayna's lips by Aemond's ear.
Your embarrassment and shame burn hot. Without a second thought, you flee.

When Stiles wakes up during the day he notices Julia passed out in the chair next to the hospitable bed. She looked so peaceful yet uncomfortable as she used three chairs total to sleep. The main chair for her head and two out from the hall for her hip and feet. Melissa even gave her an extra pillow and blanket since she refused to leave.
"She's been here all night and morning." Noah walks in to check in on his.
"She's been here since last night?" Stiles looks back over at her not waking up from their voices.
"She refused to leave your side, Stiles. How much she cares about you... You mean a lot to her." Noah looks over at her now, "I'm not surprised she beat Melissa and Rafael to where you were." Noah looks back over at Stiles, "She said you knew she could find you."
"I remember that part. And I remember feeling relieved when I left Melissa's touch going into Julia's." Stiles sits up looking down at his hands, "I was terrified dad."
"I know. They're gonna start running tests on you now that you're awake. See what's going on with you." Noah lets him know, "I'll let them know you're awake now." Noah leaves the room so Stiles looks over at Julia.
While just taking her in Stiles thinks back to when they first started getting close, about how he said there was just something about her. He still didn't full understand what it was but he was scared to lose her because he knew he wouldn't find in anyone else. There was something about her he also needed but it wasn't something about her at all. It was just her.
"Julia," He whispers her name trying to slowly wake her up, "Julia." He says slightly louder waking her up.
"Huh? What? Something wrong?" She sits up rubbing her eyes.
"Why are you still here?" He shakes his head at her.
"Because I can. Do you want me to leave?" She asks getting up walking over to the bed to lean against it.
"Not really but I hate that you are in an uncomfortable position. You spent hours there."
"And honestly I don't care because I'm here for my friend." She gives him a look then smiles, "Don't worry about me, really."
"Then you shouldn't worry about me either." He grabs her hand pulling her to sit on the bed next to him.
"Our situations are very different." She laughs leaning into his side as he puts an arm around her to hug her.
"That's very true but still that's entirely uncomfortable. Next time just get in the bed and push me over to make room for you."
"I don't want there to be a next time." She tilts her head up to look at him.
"I don't either." He sighs.
For the rest of the day they start the little tests on Stiles and later in the day Scott shows up in time for the MRI.
The doctor explains how the Magnetic Resonance Imaging device will be very loud as it takes pictures of Stiles brain. The noise is from the electrical pulses through metal coils that will be surrounding him inside the tube-like device.
Stiles confesses to Scott that the tests are looking for frontotemporal dementia which is the same illness that killed his mother. Stiles accurately describes the incurable disorder in which areas of your brain begin to shrink. Scott tells if Stiles has it he will do something implying that he will attempt to cure him.
The boys hug each other for a good moment before breaking it, "Come on, Julia." Scott grabs her hand to lead them out of the room but Stiles grabs her other hand.
"Don't forget your hug." He pulls her away from Scott into a hug, "Don't worry about me please." He whispers in her ear, "I don't want to see you cry." He adds before leaning back to give her a sad smile, "Promise me."
"I won't cry since you asked." She chuckles so he kisses her forehead before she leaves with Scott.
"I should have kissed her again..." Scott hears Stiles whisper to himself as the two leave the room.
In the waiting area, Julia sees the look on Scott's face making her laugh at him, "What's the shocked face for?"
"Huh?"
"What's the face for?" She asks trying to get comfortable in a seat.
"I hear Stiles whisper something." He takes his seat looking at her.
"What? Him saying he doesn't want to see me cry?" She asks confused why he would have that reaction to that.
"No, when we were both leaving the room."
"Oh, what did he say?" She asks curious now.
"He wanted to kiss you again." He hears her heart start to race, "When have you two kissed?"
"It was to help him out with a panic attack when all the parents were taken and you went off." She tells him, which was true.
"So just once then?"
"Yeah," She nods her head.
"Is something going on between you two or? Anything happen after Danny's party?" He asks her trying to get her to say the whole truth.
"Nothing happened after the party." She tells the truth again.
"Well something happened between you two because I can tell." He gives her a look, "Just tell me. I'm y'all's friend."
"Fine, we've kissed a few times." She gives in and wasn't gonna tell him about them getting together.
"A few?" He says surprised.
"Yes, a few times but nothing is going on between us. We're still just friends." She lets him know before getting up to leave and bumps into Derek who asks about Scott so she tells him where he is.
When leaving the bathroom she stops by the vending machine to get a snack, "We're going to destroy all of them." Julia looks around to see where that came from but no one was around her.
Suddenly the lights in the hospital flicker off and on making people panic. Calmly she turns a corner and gets startled by Stiles standing here looking down at her.
"What the hell?" She eyes him up and down confused why he was dressed and not in the room still.
"Quicker than we thought." He chuckles and the look in his eyes made Julia stare at him.
"Where's your dad and Melissa?"
"Busy looking at results and stuff. Ready to go?" He reaches for her hand.
"Go where? Stiles what's going on?" She asks then hears Noah's voice calling out Stiles name so she turns around.
"Trust me." He pulls out the syringe and injects the medicine into the side of her neck causing her to pass out. He catches her then picked her up leaving the hospital with her.
"What do you mean Julia is missing as well?" Lydia gets loud as Scott and Derek catch her up and let her know.
"We couldn't find her just like Stiles." Derek tells her.
"So what you're saying she left with him voluntarily or?" Lydia asks even louder.
"We don't know. She doesn't know about Stiles being possessed." Scott adds.
"No, with what you said was going on there's no way she just left with him." Lydia tells the two, "How do I explain to our mom she's missing?"
"Say she's staying with a friend for a few nights. I don't know." Derek tells her.
"Not to be rude but would she even notice or has your mom gotten better like you with caring about her?" Scott asks Lydia.
"She's gotten better too, Scott. She still has her moments but Julia is still her daughter." Lydia glares at him.
Scott drops the topic, "Just don't worry about her. I'm sure she can take care of herself against him."
"You saw what he did Scott. Julia can't take care of herself. And if she didn't willing leave with him then he did something to her." Derek turns to him.
"He's right Scott." Lydia sighs.
"Stiles wouldn't hurt her."
"This isn't Stiles though, Scott. We have no idea what the Nogitsune will do to her. All we can do is hope he wouldn't do anything to her." Derek tells him.
-
It's been a day since Stiles went missing with Julia and Lydia was getting worried but keeping calm around their mom. No one still had no idea where the two were.
At the moment, Julia was lying down groaning as she wished for the screams in her head to stop. The Nogitsune was keeping her half awake half sleep so she wouldn't remember much. He wanted to know how much pain he was going to cause with his traps and luckily Julia could feel the pain that was to come in the future.
"Ahh, I can see why Stiles likes you." He moves hair out of Julia's face as she frowns with her eyes closed moving around. "You are beautiful."
"Stiles," Julia whines still mostly asleep.
"We're right here, Julia. You have nothing to worry about." He plays with her hair, "You might be useful in more than one way." He studies her face, "Oh, what else can I do with you?"
For a few hours he watches her sleep waiting for her to wake up the Nogitsune lets Stiles back in control of his body slightly as Julia wakes up confused about where they were and what happened.
"Where are we?" She sits up feeling weak from the medicine he's been injecting her with to keep her asleep.
"Don't worry about it." He tells her.
"Okay, well what the hell happened?" She looks over at him.
"I don't remember much."
Julia thinks back the best she could to remember what happened at the hospital, "The last thing you told me was to trust you... Why do I have a feeling you're lying to me?" She asks him.
"Because I slightly am..." He looks down at the floor, "I didn't bring you here." He looks up at her and slowly the look on his face changes into a smile, "Because I did."
Julia looks at him like he was crazy, "What the hell are you talking about Stiles?"
"Stiles isn't he anymore." He tells her, "Julia, you're smart... What are evil foxes called?"
"Void Kitsune or Nogitsune. A dark spirit. Why? And what the hell is going on? Where are we?!" She shouts at him.
"And they fed on chaos, strife, and pain. Correct?" He asks her.
"Yes..."
"And they can possess others so put together the pieces sweetheart." He leans closer to her and she leans back getting it now.
"Why am I here? What happened at the hospital?" She crawls back to move away from him.
"I damaged the wiring on the roof the previous night... Which caused some some chaos to erupted. Someone hit a fire hydrant so water plus a lose electoral cord caused about three people to get electrocuted. One being Isaac." He explains to her, "Also you're here to help me."
"Like I would help you."
"You can't help it because it's what you are Julia. I already know what I'm working on will work thanks to your power while you were out." He smiles standing up, "Speaking of... Time to go back to sleep." He moves towards her so she tries to fight him away from her but he was way stronger.
"STOP IT!" She keeps trying to keep the needle away from her.
His left hand grabs a good chunk of her hair tugging it to make her head lean back making her whines in pain, "Hopefully next time you wake up Stiles will be back to normal." He leans closer to her face as tears form in her eyes, "Let them fall for me Julia." He chuckles tugging on her hair harder causing the tears to fall.
She wasn't crying just from the pain but also because she was terrified of Void especially now that he moved his hand from her hair to her throat. She dug her nails in to his arm still trying to keep the needle away from her.
"You're so pretty when you cry." He smiles before he leans all the way his licking the one of the tears off her cheek before using injecting her to fall asleep.

They always tell you that you will find happiness.
Someday, one day, you will find it.
But I didn't find my happiness. It found me.
I wasn't looking for it, quite the opposite, I was done with it, I had agreed never to find it. I was ready to live my life without "happiness".
As terrible as it may sound, I had resigned myself to it. It was just the way it was.
At least that's what thought.
But anyone can be wrong sometimes, right?
It was June 16th 2017. My car was packed with all my belongings. The move was spontaneous, but never had I regretted it. It was a small thing that had made me do it. It was something so unimportant that it had not been or wouldn't ever be understandable to others.
It was a feeling, one that told me I was home now.
A place near Tampa, Florida. Small and beautiful, just as I had always wanted it to be.
The ocean was calming. Some days it was gentle and still and other days it was like a raging storm. One could think that the sea imitated our moods.
I lived in a bungalow among many others. It was so different, so new and it felt right. My life was simple and my heart was happy.
The days were the same, had a good rhythm and yet were never boring.
One day I met a little girl. I was going to hang up my laundry on the sunny side of the house to dry, when I tripped over a stone at the edge of the path between the bungalows and my laundry spread all over the ground. I had just been about to pick them up when a small hand handed me a shirt that was lying on the grass.
"Hi, I'm Mary." she said with the sweetest smile. Mary couldn't have been older than eight years old and yet she seemed much older to me. She told me that she lived in the house right next to me.
At that point, I had only lived there for a few weeks.
Mary told me that she lived with her uncle and was already going to university because she was gifted. We had made ourselves comfortable on the patch of grass next to the little path and the words just bubbled out of her. Mary looked so happy and joyful as she told me all the crazy stories she had already experienced in her short life.
She told me that she and her uncle had been watching me when I moved in. I had to giggle at the thought because I had seen them peeking through the window and it had been a really cute sight. She had her head propped up on his and I could see her talking energetically to him.
When Mary had left, she also left behind a cheerfulness that filled me throughout the whole day.
I saw her uncle often at the small bar in town. It wasn’t any hangout for old alcoholics; the bar had a certain charm. Everything was full of decorations and colorful lights. There were all kinds of pictures and all kinds of people.
But he was just sitting there at the bar with a beer in his hand.
He looked so utterly complete, as weird as that may sound. And even though his shirts always had a slight trace of oil, he looked attractive and not shabby. Maybe it was just those light oil marks that made him so interesting to me.
I had never been an extrovert. I prefer to be to myself rather than in a huge crowd. That's why I never approached him. Not because he was always surrounded by people, actually the opposite was the case, he always sat alone on the same bar stool. But the way he sat there gave off a quiet aura and I didn't dare to break into it.
Until one day, Mary had knocked on my door holding the hand of a very attractive guy, with light traces of oil on his shirt.
He had a crooked smile on his lips and looked a little insecure.
"Frank wants to ask you something." she had said, grinning at me and giving her uncle a warning look. „Yeah?" i smiled at her and then her uncle.
That had been the beginning of something beautiful.
When I think back to the time when I thought I was down on my luck, I have to smile. Happiness has found me. And it came with such force of which I could never have dreamed of. I did not find happiness. But happiness found me.
And in my case, it came in the person of a drop-dead cute, gifted little girl and her incredibly attractive, adorable uncle to find me.
If you ever doubt that you have lost happiness, always remember: It has not forgotten you, it is just waiting for the right moment. And when that time comes, you will be fully taken by it.
❁❁❁
"Lillie? Is there a God?" she asked softly. Mary, Frank and I were snuggled up in a blanket on the beach, looking out into the setting summer sun.
I lifted my head from Frank's shoulder and looked down at her. "What do you think?" I asked her.
"I don't know." she said, shrugging her shoulders.
"You don't have to know. You have to feel it. If you can feel it in your heart, then he exists.“ I said, opening my arm for her, „Everyone has to decide that for themselves."
She snuggled into my arm, and I gently stroked her blonde hair. Frank's strong arm was wrapped around my shoulder as he kissed my hair.
"I think he brought us together. Like a family." she whispered looking up to me and Frank.
My little piece of bliss.

Introducing Xavier to your family
*head-cannon*
Small authors note: Besties! I’ve missed you all so much. The continued support and love for my writings don’t go unnoticed and I’m insanely thankful for it all. Kisses to you all!
Tumblr media
Although Xavier didn't show it, you could see he was nervous to meet your family. Finally, winter break had arrived, and he had no intention of returning to his empty house; you were his home now,so where ever you were-he’s there beside you.
“Black tie or the red one? Red right? Because, well, it’s Christmas. Unless you think it’s too much. It’s too much, right?” He was acting so ridiculously, and you chuckled at how out of character it was for him.
“Why are you laughing at me? This is no laughing matter. I want to leave a good impression” an anxious expression spreading across your lovers face.
“Yes because my parents will absolutely despise you because you decided to go with a red tie, Xay.” You joked leaving a kiss on his nose and pairing his button-down shirt with a red tie.
His leg continued to bounce the entire distance to your family's home. When you put your hand on his bouncing leg to soothe his nerves, he looked at you and smiled slightly.
The "only five minutes" visit to your neighborhood flower shop took twenty minutes. Xavier was having trouble deciding which bouquet to get your mother. "Babe, how do you not know what flowers she likes despite spending your entire life with her? Roses? Tulips? the Orchid?” He was clearly getting angry with your urge to chuckle when he said, "You're no help.” It was amusing to see how serious he was taking this.
After settling for a beautiful purple Orchid, you left the shop. He cared a lot about making a good impression, which was endearing.
You will never forget the final second before arriving at your door. He was fidgeting with his tie and running his fingers through his long brown hair. His uneven breathing was obvious. In an effort to avoid making him more anxious, you refrained from laughing.
“Your parents' names are y/m/n and y/d/n, and you have two older siblings named y/s/n and y/s/n.” He was amazed at his memory for all of their names, which seemed to come naturally to him despite having practiced them for days. When his eyes caught yours, he was puzzled by the look on your face. “What? What do I have on my face?”
“Nothing. I just love you so much. Did you realize that?” You spoke to him while caressing his cheek. He wasn't as stiff anymore, so you could tell that your remarks had made him more relaxed. He grinned at you before kissing you on the lips.
Your family undoubtedly answered the door within a few minutes of you ringing the doorbell. The two of you coming here for Christmas made them truly happy.
“Orchids! My favorite flowers!” Your mother gave him a hug and said, "Thank you so much Xavier. I love it” As your family welcomed him, you could see Xavier's nerves starting to fade. They would adore him almost as much as you did, you knew.
“Excellent red tie, Xavier. Ya know, I've been hunting for one myself," your father said, gesturing at the tie that belonged to your lover- the one which he had expressed such concern. Xavier glanced across at you while his cheeks displayed a pink hue. Knowing that you would already be wearing a "I told you so" smirk.
Your family and your lover wouldn't stop talking the rest of the night. attempting to embarrass you in any way possible. bringing up that one talent show in which you participated in. showing Xavier your baby pictures. reminiscing about your crazy One Direction fan girl days. Embarrassing? Yes. Heart-warming? Also, yes
As it became late, you thanked your parents for the dinner and gathered your coat before heading out. Hugging each one of your family members.
“Mr. and Mrs. y/l/n, I appreciate you having me over. Since I don't come from a large family, I want to say thank you for letting me spend one night as a part of yours.” Your eyes started to well up with tears as soon as you heard your boyfriend say those words. Your parents said goodbye while giving him a tight hug.
“Please continue taking care of our daughter” your father shouted across your driveway.
“Always will” Xavier replied looking at you cheekily.
Xavier was asking a million questions about your family on the trip back to Nevermore. gaining a deeper understanding of things. Both of you laughed as you recalled the secrets that your siblings had revealed about you when you were younger.
“Baby, thank you for inviting me over. . .really. I don’t remember the last Christmas I spent with my dad. It really felt like Christmas this year with your lovely family and by your side, of course.”
“Aw Xay, you seriously need to stop saying thank you. You’re a part of my family now. I love you, do you know that?” You couldn’t help but wonder how you got so lucky.
“I do, you never make me forget. Do you know that I love you?” He gave you a small giggle as his hand gave your thigh a playful squeeze.
Christmas this year was quite memorable beside your boyfriend.
Tumblr media
A.N: fluff. More fluff. And again, more fluff. I’ve been m.i.a for a few days, fan girlies. Christmas time & now New Years is busy and I’ve been enjoying every second. I’m also leaving town for NYE so add packing to it all. Anyways, I hope you all had a great Christmas!!
I’d do anything to spend my favorite time of the year with Thorpe boy. Unfortunately he was not under my tree this year so we’ll try next time.
As always— requests are always open! Share your thoughts! Talk to me! Get something off your mind!✨

Stranger
It was a type of fear that made Kimi's throat close up, looking at the giant phone laid out before her:
22 YEAR OLD KENT COUNTY WOMAN GOES MISSING!
An article with a picture of her and her mother at a church ceremony she never wanted to go to, hiding behind a fake smile that fooled everyone into thinking she was a happy servant of the lord and totally not reading horror fics on her phone.
"I thought you said you didn't have anyone who lived nearby?" Willam asked, breaking Kimi away from her thoughts.
"You wouldn't understand…" She muttered, avoiding eye contact.
"Try me."
Kimi opened her mouth but words refused to fall out. She had only known William for a few days since she shrunk; he was extremely kind and was doing everything he could to reverse the spell that was put on her while also keeping her existence a secret to the other actors in the haunt. However, William was still a stranger, and a stranger would never understand why Kimi would not want her mother to see her like this.
"Kimi, this is serious."
"I know!" She snapped.
"Then why didn't you want to go to your mother?" His brown eyes were pleading with such intensity, that Kimi wanted to run away and hide, but sitting on the glass table was like being stranded on an island. Even if she could have somehow run off, William would have no trouble catching up to her and even grab her if he desperately wanted her to tell him.
"My mother… is not a great person." Kimi sighed as she hugged her knees to her chest. "If she found out I went to The Devil's Playground and got shrunk by those dickheads, I'd never hear the end of it."
William's eyes traced back to his phone and stared at the photo for a few moments. A tiny gasp slipped from his lips. "You're that girl from the craft shop."
Kimi could only nod as memories of seeing him trying to convince her mother to leave flyers at the shop to get the word out for the haunt's tenth anniversary flooded her brain. The embarrassment she felt seeing her mom call him a heathen was hard enough, but to be loomed over by the heathen as he just realized who she was unbearable!
"Okay, so she's gonna be upset." He said. "But you're an adult, who can go to a haunt."
Kimi just shook her head. "Not when you're a part of the Shepherds of His Holy Kingdom, where anything related to Halloween is a gateway to Satanism."
William scrunched his nose. "I didn't know you were a part of that group."
"Yup," a dry laugh slipped through Kimi's lips, it wasn't uncommon to see people cringe at the mere mention of being the cult. She used to hate how others scoff at her former faith, now she scoffs with them. "Got baptized to be known as a real Shepherd at the ripe age of ten."
"So your mom's out of the question." He ran his fingers through his beard. "What about any other family who's likely not a Shepherd?"
"Mom doesn't have any family in the country, and I haven't seen dad's family since I was four. Mom cut them all off after she became a Shepherd. She let out a sigh.
"But do they live close by?" His voice almost sounded desperate.
"They're outta state, last I heard." She snapped. "Besides, can you imagine how awkward it would be if a relative you haven't seen in almost twenty years rolled up to your house at four inches tall?"
"Okay fine… What about friends?"
"All of my friends are outta state for college and I haven't talked to them much since high school."
"What about that other girl, who worked with you, you two seem to be friendly?"
"Addie? We're not close enough to call each other friends." Kimi crossed her arms. "And there is no way she could keep me a secret around my mom!"
William let out a sigh and drummed his fingers on the glass table, not realizing the vibrations shook Kimi's insides. Every simple movement he did was like a storm rumbling through her that left her feeling nauseous, which made the idea of being around her own mother at this size was more unbearable to her.
"So there's really no one else you can turn to?"
Kimi shook her head.
William gave Kimi a pitiful look. "Well… I don't see any other option but to go to your mom."
A burning sensation grew from Kimi's round cheeks all the way down to her chest, the pain clawing its way into her hammering heart that made Kimi want to scream but only bursts of gasps escaped through her tightened throat. She couldn't even look at the giant man anymore without feeling smaller than she already was. She couldn't stand the shadow that loomed over her or the eyes that locked onto her every movement.
"Kimi?" Warmth brushed up against her side, sending a jolt through the tiny woman. William's fingers loosely curled around her like a blanket being draped over her shoulders. Kimi craned her neck up to lock eyes with William; worry was plastered on his face as he stared down at Kimi… and that just made her blood boil.
"Don't act like you care about me!" Kimi snapped as she scrambled away from the giant hand.
William winced as if Kimi just spat venom at him. "I do care."
Kimi just scoffed. "Yeah… I just opened up about my relationship with my mother and you still want to pawn me off to her!"
"I know it's not the best solution but this could keep us out of trouble." He pleaded.
"Not for me!" Kimi shrieked, tears threatened to spill. "My mother will call a priest to perform exorcisms on me! I'll serve as propaganda for the Shepherds to never stray!"
"I'm talking about legal issues!" William's voice cracked like a sudden burst of thunder. "If the police find you like this, they might shut down the entire haunt, or they'll arrest me and probably Mitch and Tonya too! Do you want that?"
"Of course not!" She whimpered.
"Then we have to do this."
Kimi shook her head as tears rolled down her cheeks. Her first taste of independence was met with fear and curses but that was better than being ruled over her mother, now she is supposed to go back to her. "If you do this, I'll never return to normal."
"I'm sure Tonya would still be able to help."
"No!" Kimi snarled. "If I go back to my mother, then she'll make sure I never see you guys again."
William knitted his eyebrows together. "Even if we could figure out how to reverse the spell?"
"If it doesn't involve Jesus, she will not listen." Kimi retorted. "And she would probably make sure you do get arrested and shut the haunt down."
William went stiff. "She can't do that…"
"She'll find a way." Kimi said flatly. "There's no good way to go about this."
An awkward silence sat between them as William pondered the situation. Kimi refused to look at him anymore as tears quietly fell down her face, she just wanted to scream at William more about what a big mistake he would be making, but what good would it do? He probably felt like Kimi was a burden to help out now and it would be easier to just pawn her off to her mother so he can go on to his normal life, but if that was the case, he could just outright say it instead of pretending it was for the good of everyone. Kimi was sick of people acting like screwing her over was for the best.
"Alright…" William's low voice cut through the silence. "Let's just…. Wait."
Kimi snapped back into reality to glance up at him. "What are you saying?"
"I'm saying, we'll talk to Mitch and LaTonya about this first, to see what would be the best option for you."
Kimi's heart pounded. "And if you all think sending me back to my mother like this is the best option?"
"Then we'll figure out the best way to approach your mom when you're like this." William spoke softly. "This whole thing has got me scared of what could happen to me, the haunt- and you."
"Me?" Kimi choked out, her cheeks were threatening to brand a shade of pink on her.
"Yes, I do care about what happens to you." He reached out and brushed a finger under Kimi's chin. He waited for her to push him away but when she remained still for a few seconds, he took the moment to curl his finger in a way that made her look up at him. "If you really don't think going back to your mom will be the best option, then help me find a better solution."
Kimi's breath hitched as she met William's gaze. There was no pity behind his brown eyes, only a soft inviting look that wanted to keep her safe. Despite the heat radiating off his finger, Kimi remained frozen in place, not wanting to disturb the serenity she felt in this moment. After a few minutes of just admiring the giant man, she found her voice. "Just… don't leave me to fend for myself." She whispered in a desperate plea.
William gave a compassionate smile that melted Kimi's heart. "I wouldn't dream of it."

December 2023.
"Um, holy shit." was all that came out of Naysha's mouth when she, Ria and Advika stepped out of the car in front of the hotel where they'd been to attend a wedding of their friend.
"Yeah, the reason Nandini asked us to bring all those clothes is making sense now. This is going to be one big Indian wedding." Ria said, referring to the list they received from the to be bride as Advika spoke to one of the hotel staff.
"This is the place where Aditi in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani had her wedding na?" Advika joined, referring to a character of the movie that the three girls adored.
"It is. Holy shit, we're attending a wedding in The Oberoi Udaivilas." Naysha lets out a chuckle of astonishment.
"I think this is going to be the best part of our break." Ria tells, an excited and happy grin appearing on her face.
"Same, I haven't been to a wedding in so long." Advika tells in excitement and then they hear the sound of Ria's name being called from the back.
"Lando?" Ria called out, looking baffled as they recognised the McLaren driver stepping out of a taxi with his teammate Oscar Piastri. And from the back seat, Pierre Gasly stepped out with...... Charles and his mother.
Advika mentally groaned as she thought frantically about ways to hide in a hotel lobby. Charles and her did end their relationship with no bad feelings, but she didn't want to be around him yet. Not when she wasn't over him or the time they'd spent together.
"You guys are here for a vacation?" Ria asked after giving Lando a hug and going towards Oscar, since she worked with both of them.
"A wedding actually, the groom is in the Formula 1 organising team so he invited a few drivers and team members that he's close to." Oscar explained as he pulled Ria into a hug, a big grin spreading on his face which was returned by her.
"I didn't realise Ni's fiancee was close to the drivers too." Advika mumbled in confusion. "Also, you aren't going to give Lando a hug and greet him?" she whispered in Naysha's ear.
"What do you mean?" Naysha replied, feigning annoyance although the colour of her cheeks said something else.
"Ria told me that the both of you always have your eyes on each other." Advika said, grinning.
"I'm being professional." Naysha huffed. "I don't understand how Piastri and Ria can gush around each other so easily despite being in the same team."
"Look I don't want to push you into anything that you don't feel comfortable doing, but I'm pretty sure Lewis wouldn't mind if Lando and you got together or anything. You know he's very fond of both of you."
"Of course he won't, Lewis is the nicest boss anybody could have but...." Naysha just shrugged and Advika let it go, not wanting to force her into a rush of confusions and emotions.
"Hey Advika....how are you?" Charles asked, giving her a friendly smile. Naysha and Ria gave him a wary look, worried because they knew that their best friend hadn't been over the break up yet.
Friendly exes it's going to be.
"I'm alright, how are you?" she asked, returning a small smile.
"I'm good." he nods his head "Winter break has been great so far."
"That's nice...Lorenzo and Arthur haven't come?" she asks, remembering how she got along well with the Leclerc brothers, always having a happy smile in their company.
"They couldn't make it, Enzo has some work related to his business and Arthur has some work with the team. Mama joined me because she wanted to visit India and be here at least once." Charles explained.
"I hope you're liking it in here." Advika asks Charles and his mother. The Indian GP stopped ten years ago which meant that this was their first visit to the country.
"It's a beautiful country, I'm glad I came here." Pascale says, pulling Advika into a hug "I saw that you're taking a break from music? Is everything alright?" she asked Advika concernedly, referring to her recent announcement of a break from the music industry related work and social media for the half of next year.
"I just thought it'd be the best after working non-stop. Six months will be enough Pascale, I'll be alright." Advika assured her with a comforting smile. She always made her feel comfortable and safe, which was one of Advika's favourite things about being around Charles' family.
"The break was a good decision, you definitely need it. Touring for more than a year is a lot." Charles commented and Advika wondered if he was telling it out of concern or taking a dig at the cause of their breakdown and then reminded herself to stop overthinking. They broke up anyways, what was the point of wondering too much about a bond that was already lost?
"Pierre, hey." Advika said after making eye contact with the French driver.
"How are you Advika?" Pierre asked her, giving her a smile and offering a side hug, which she accepted. Pierre and her weren't really close, but they met a few times since he was Charles' closest friend on the grid. So it was safe to say that they considered each other as good friends.
"I'm doing good, great season by the way." she said, her thoughts immediately flew to not being able to watch Charles winning the WDC and the guilt seeped in for the umpth time in the past month.
"It was." he agreed with her, noticing that the smile on her face has disappeared and she was deep in her thoughts after the mention of the recent season.
"Hey hello, I'm finally here." a bubbly voice from the back interrupted their conversation, making Advika turn in recognition. Nandini, their friend who was the bride had finally made it to the lobby to greet them.
"Andddd the bride's finally here." Naysha cheered as she joined Ria and Advika, pulling Nandini into a hug.
"I'm so sorry for keeping y'all waiting here, guests have been coming so I have to just show them to their rooms and all that. The whole room arrangement has been a mess." Nandini groaned.
"It's all right, besides we had them for company too." Ria refers to the Formula 1 drivers.
"Uh, also there's a bit of an issue." the bride to be tells hesitantly.
"What happened?" Naysha asks her. Nobody liked it when a person to be wed was worried at the time of their wedding.
"One of you might have to share a room with somebody else, is that alright?" she asks them.
"I mean, as long as it's somebody we know and are comfortable with, it's alright I think." Advika tells, Ria and Naysha agreeing with her.
"Hey guys." Nandini's fiance interrupted their conversation, standing next to Nandini "Uh Naysha, I just spoke to the F1 guys and Oscar said that Lando and you are familiar with each other's company so would you be alright with sharing a room with him?"
Oh- so Oscar knew about it too.
"Uh-" Naysha said hesitantly, confused between being professional and not wanting to cause the couple a worry "yeah it's alright, I'll do it." she agreed, making Ria and Advika exchange a knowing smirk.
"Thank you so much Naysh." Nandini squealed, giving her a grateful hug and replied with an "it's no big deal."
"Also the engagement party starts at eight tonight, I hope y'all will be following the dress code for the festivities." Nandini reminded them of her very on point planning.
"Don't worry, I don't think anybody would've forgotten it after the billion times you insisted about it in the group chat." Advika teased her.
"Also The Oberoi Udaivilas? You've scored damn well." Ria tells her as Nandini led their way to the rooms.
"I guess I did." Nandini told with a happy and dreamy look on her face. "Naysha, that would be your and Lando's room, I think he's already in so you could just knock the door. Ria and Advika, this is your room." Nandini said and left in a bit, having to finish a few more arrangements.
"Have fun Naysha." Ria tells Naysha with a teasing grin and Advika gave her a thumbs up. The both of them received the middle finger as a response from Naysha making them crack into laughter.
Later that night.
Nandini and her fiancee planned a dress code for each festivity for the wedding, which the guests had been informed about and for the engagement, the women could wear a saree whereas the men in a buttoned up shirt and formal black jeans.
"I look so freaking short." Advika whined, turning around to her back side to look in the mirror. "But I didn't expect this colour would suit me though." she added, referring to the tea green coloured saree that she was wearing.
"It's not a bad thing, you still look cute so don't worry." Ria told in hopes of making her feel better about herself.
"Thanks, it's just that I really like how beautiful sarees are but it just makes short people look like Minions, as if we aren't short as hell already." Advika mumbles in annoyance.
"You say it like it's a bad thing, Charles is going to regret his decision which he sees you tonight, you're a mixture of pretty and cute." Ria tells her and Advika shoots a thankful smile in response.
"And you look stunning by the way, I'm sure Oscar won't be taking his eyes off you tonight. What's going on between you and him by the way?" Advika asked, her eyebrow raised in curiosity. Ria put on a saree which had a seaform green blouse with a transparent material draped over her shoulder.
"Um, nothing. Just two people in the same team, that's all." Ria replied quickly, a red tint forming on her cheeks.
"Sure it's nothing." Advika told suspiciously "You both never stop smiling around each other though, it's cute."
The sound of Advika's phone ringing stopped her from going on about what she noticed between her best friend and the McLaren team driver, the sight of Charles' name of the Caller's ID surprising her.
"Charles?" she said after taking the call "Is everything alright?"
"Uh, yeah. I'm sorry if I disturbed you." he told awkwardly.
"No it's alright, you weren't disturbing me." she shrugged it off and the awkwardness he felt before calling her came down.
"Yeah so, my mum thought of getting into the atmosphere of the wedding so she wants to follow the dress code that the couple chose." he started explaining "But well, she doesn't know how to wear a saree." The way he pronounced the name of the Indian outfit with his accent brought a smile on her face.
"Do you want me to help her drape the saree?" she completed his sentence.
"Yes, I think she really needs that because the both of us obviously don't know how to." he sighed and the smile on her face widened because she could imagine the clueless look on his face.
"Sure, I'm almost ready. I'll be there in a few minutes." she tells him and he cuts the call after telling a grateful "thank you".
"Are you sure this whole friendly exes thing is going to go well?" Ria asks her, having a fair idea of what their conversation was.
"I honestly have no idea." Advika sighed, putting on the jhumka on her ear "But it won't be for a long time, just for this wedding and if we have any Armani related work that's it. I think I'll be able to handle that."
She left the room to head towards Charles' and Ria's question stayed on her mind. Would she really be able to handle the whole friendly exes situation? She had the habit of getting attached to people easily and then getting detached from them always took a millennia. Being around Charles definitely wouldn't make it easier.
"Hey, thank you so much for helping her. She really wants to wear it so I couldn't disagree." Charles started rambling as soon he opened the room's door.
"Charles, I don't mind helping her drape the saree, it's totally fine. You don't have to worry that you disturbed me." she tells him and he nods his head.
"You look beautiful, by the way.” he tells, taking in the sight of her appearance which made her cheeks turn red.
"You too, I mean- you look great." Advika complimented him back. A shirt tucked in with a pair of formal jeans always looked good on him.
“Hello Pascale.” Advika heads towards the blonde woman, giving her a warm smile.
“Advika! You look so pretty chère, I’m sorry if we disturbed you today.” Charles' mum said, returning the smile.
“Oh, not at all. I think it’s really sweet that you want to go along with our traditions, I love the colour of your saree by the way.” she says, referring to the blue saree with some design work at the ends that Charles mum chose for herself and she started unfolding the cloth so as to start draping it.
“I’m glad I asked Charles to call you for help, draping a saree is actually quite complicated.” Pascale told, while Advika was on her knees trying the fold the stiff cloth in the right way as Charles stood in the corner of the room and watched them get along quite well with one another.
“It actually is pretty hard.” Advika agreed with a light chuckle “I remember watching my mother draping it for occasions like this in the family and didn’t want to wear one after growing up because she used to struggle with it a lot But she insisted that I watch and learn because she knew I’d need it after growing up.” she said with reminiscent smile on her face.
“Mothers always know what their kids need, no matter how much they deny it.” the Monegasque woman said, giving Charles a knowing look which went unnoticed by Advika, who had all her attention on the saree.
The sound of Advika's phone ringing cut their conversation and Charles, who was standing near the table where her phone was kept gave a look asking if he could check who it is, since she was still bent down and busy with the saree cloth in her hand, she nodded at him.
"It's Vinaya." he said, showing the screen which had her manager's name on the Caller ID. A confused look came up on Advika's face about how she would talk to her manager, considering she only called if it was something important regarding her work.
"Would you be okay with the call being on speaker?" Charles asked her, indicating that he'd hold the phone near her on speaker so that she could talk and get the saree draping done at once.
"Yeah, that would be alright. Thank you." she said and he came closer, attending the call and switching it on speaker.
"So, your blood test reports came in." Vinaya immediately started and Advika noticed a look of worry appear on Charles and his mother's faces and an addition with Charles looking at her questioningly.
Advika froze, she'd totally forgotten about the blood test she took yesterday at Mumbai before travelling to Udaipur for the wedding. She'd been feeling too tired every day ever since her tour ended and thought it'd be a good idea to find out what was wrong.
"Can we talk about this later please?" Advika asked weakly, not wanting Charles and his mother to hear it. She wouldn't be able to bear the sympathy she'd get, Pascale already seemed to be very worried about Advika taking a break from her work.
"I know you're busy at the wedding so I'll take just two minutes. Alright, so your hypothyroid has gotten way too worse, because of your very messy sleep schedule, stress and food intake during the tour." Vinaya rambled on "So I've fixed an appointment with your nutritionist which will be in the morning tomorrow. I know you're at your friend's wedding now but I'm not going to hear a no for this because you need to start working on your TSH levels before it affects your health even more than it already has."
"I wasn't going to tell a no, don't worry I'll talk to the doctor." Advika tells, letting go of a shaky breath. She did not want to face the tiredness and the disturbed sleep hypothyroid brought in, not again after all the struggle in her teen years "and could we please talk to the tour manager team too tomorrow, I want to make some changes about making the schedules" she said as she inserted a safety pin through the saree cloth, the last request bringing a smile on Charles' face who was glad that she was finally giving herself the first priority. He hated seeing the extreme tiredness on the face because of the tour, right when they started dating, during the video calls and short meets and all the way until their last conversation.
"Of course and please don't forget the appointment with your nutritionist tomorrow." her manager reminded her and then cut the call, making Advika take a sigh of relief.
"And it's done, you look amazing. I hope the saree is comfortable enough for you?" she asked, pretending as if the conversation with her manager never took place.
"It is, thank you so much for helping me dear." Pascale replied and Advika nodded her head, showing that there was no need to thank her.
"I think I'll leave now, Ria and Naysha might be waiting for me at the hall." Advika said, wanting to leave there. She'd already faced a lot of sympathy from people because she lost her parents. She appreciated their emotions but the eyes filled with pity was something she couldn't handle, it made her uncomfortable. And she could already see it in Pascale and Charles' eyes, so leaving would be better than starting a conversation about her health.
Thankfully she understood and let Advika go. A few steps away from the room, Advika heard the familiar voice of Charles calling her and she turned back to see him approaching her.
"Charles." she responded, wondering why he called her.
"You never told me you were suffering from hypothyroid." he told her, heading straight to the point.
"It's not a big deal-" she tried to shrug it off.
"It is, it literally requires life long medication and even sucks out all your energy. Not to mention it also doesn't let you sleep." he went on about the chronic disease.
"How do you know all this?" she couldn't help but express her surprise.
"I just checked about it on Google but seriously though, why didn't you tell me about it?"
"I had it in control then, trust me. It just got really shitty and unhandleable because of my tour schedule. Besides you already had a lot to worry about." she said referring to the F1 season "I didn't want you to have another thing to worry about."
"You were my girlfriend, I wouldn't have minded worrying about you." he looked at her in concern and Advika just sighed in response.
"It doesn't matter now anyways." she weakly said, wanting the conversation to end. How could he break up with her and just say caring words like it means nothing?
"Just because things between us went down doesn't mean I don't care about you Vika." he looked at her softly and it took everything in her to not melt into it.
The last thing needed right now was not being able to let go of her feelings for somebody who let go of her.
"I- I need to go." she fretted and hurried towards the hall where the engagement was taking place. She spotted Ria and Naysha standing in one of the corners and went towards them.
"Advi, are you okay?" Naysha asked her in concern after noticing the tense look on her face.
"Yeah, I just got worried thinking I was late. You look amazing by the way, how did Lando let you get out of your room?" Advika teases her "also, the sarees you and Ria are wearing are similar." commenting about the saree that she was wearing. It was similar to Ria's, a flamingo pink sparkly blouse with a transparent material draped over.
"Haha, you're so funny." Naysha rolled her eyes playfully. "Oscar hasn't stopped giving her heart eyes ever since she came in."
"Told ya." Advika gave Ria a teasing grin.
"I think this trip is going to change our love lives." Naysha suggested.
"Speak for yourself, I'm single at the moment." Advika said with her eyebrows raised.
"With the way Charles is looking at you, I highly doubt that." Ria commented and confusion arose.

"Alright, everyone, this is Oracle. She's a rookie pro who recently moved to Kyushu from the States. The agency where she completed her last internship asked the Commission to help her get settled, and I graciously offered my assistance when they contacted me. Let's make her feel at home."
"Thank you. It's an honor to be working with all of you." Himitsu bowed to the small group, fighting the urge to smack the man next to her. Most people wouldn't notice it, but she caught the irritating undertone in his voice that he always had when he teased her.
It'd been more than a year and a half since she first met the Wing Hero. They hadn't spent a lot of time together, especially during the first year, but now, she had more of the bird's time than she wanted. Not only did the H.P.S.C. assign her to Hawks' agency, they also moved her into his apartment.
Both of them argued against the decision for a dozen different, perfectly rational, reasons, but the Commission's lack of trust in her overwhelmed their common sense. They wanted her under constant surveillance. She didn't blame them for their suspicion. Her past made her reliability questionable, and while she had no immediate intention of breaking the terms of her "parole", the future was an uncertain thing. She certainly never planned to become a hero.
"Okay. Everyone get back to work now." Hawks chuckled as the others headed to their desks.
Their words were polite when they welcomed her, smiling with a practiced ease, but she questioned their sincerity. It was unlikely a single one of them was happy to have her there. Why would they be? Her arrival was an intrusion. She was a source of competition, and with how closely she'd be forced to work with Hawks, at least a few members of the agency would have an issue with her.
"Not you, newbie." Hawks winked as Himitsu began to walk away. He nodded towards his office door. "I have some paperwork I need you to look over and sign."
"Of course."
She forced a smile and followed him. The office was well-kept but lacked personality. There were no photographs, no decorative pieces that matched his style. A few framed pictures of the city and a newspaper article from the agency's opening hung on the walls, but she suspected Hawks hadn't put them there. The only detail that leant any warmth to the room was a cork board to the left of the desk with a collection of hand-drawn pictures and letters, mostly scrawled in crayon.
The moment the door closed, she turned on him. "You're insufferable."
"Geez, kid. What'd I do *now*?"
He smirked and stepped around her as he headed towards a desk of glass and chrome. It held only a laptop and a penholder, positioned so perfectly that she was sure they'd never been moved. The back wall was a picture window with a striking view of the skyline. Several buildings stood tall around the city, their windows reflecting the colors of the rising sun. There wasn't a single smudge to mar the sight. and the chair he pulled out didn't have even one crease in the black leather.
"Do you even do any work here?"
Hawks leaned back, hands folded behind his head, and laughed. "You seem a little testy. There's no need for first day jitters. I'm a laid back boss, and I couldn't fire you if I wanted to. You can't beat that kind of job securoty."
Himitsu wondered how the events would unfold if she strangled him. The Commission probably wouldn't take it well, ending her pro hero career before it began. *Double win.* The idea held promise, but as usual, her aversion to spending the remainder of her life in Tartarus acted as an effective deterrent against potential bad decisions.
"You're loving this, aren't you?"
"Whaaat?"
His look of feigned innocence made her reconsider the necessity to show restraint. The prison would provide a roof over her head and three meals a day. She could spend the remainder of her life reading and writing. Maybe she'd even publish an autobiography and give the world an in-depth description of the one hundred and one ways their beloved number two hero was a massive jerk...
*Gotta get a grip.*
"Laid back says the guy who had a fit the other night when he couldn't find the television remote."
"I needed to check the weather conditions for our upcoming patrol."
"It was just between the couch cushions for crying out loud."
"And whose fault was that?"
"You act like I threw it off the balcony. Besides, you own a phone. Two, if I recall correctly. You could've used one of them."
"I also own a television."
"Again, you're awfully stubborn for someone who's claiming to be "laid back"."
"There wouldn't be a problem if you just learned to put the remote back."
"I'm going to tell the Commission you suck as a boss and demand a transfer."
"Based on what grounds?"
"I could always claim sexual harassment. You had a pair of my panties on your dresser."
Hawks grinned. "Only because I found them on my bathroom floor. Want to explain that one?"
"Not particularly." Himitsu huffed, crossing her arms over her chest and allowing her irritation to mask her embarrassment. He had a lot of nerve. It was true she used his bathroom in the rare instances when he wasn't home. The shower and bath were huge, built to accommodate his wings; the room had ambient lighting and surround sound; and the picture window next to the tub offered a breathtaking view of the city. Her bathroom was nice, but his was *luxurious*. She refused to feel guilty for indulging once in a while.
"When were you in my room anyhow?"
"Last night. It's not my fault. One of your tee shirts was in my laundry."
"When? I was home all night..."
"You were in the shower and - Wait. Why were you keeping them?"
"Keeping..." For the first time, the hero looked flustered. He put up his hands and shook his head. "H-hey, no! Don't go getting the wrong idea. I put them down to answer the phone and forgot -"
"Uh-huh. Likely story." Himitsu grinned. His sincerity was obvious, but she couldn't resist the rare opportunity to throw him off balance. "I'm really not one to judge, but honestly, Birdie, you of all people shouldn't have to resort to such scandalous measures. I'm sure you've got girls lined up around the block."
Hawks stared at her for a long moment. One brow raised. He started to say something then stopped, chuckling. "Fair enough, but maybe you should stay out of my bathroom then."
"Not happening, hero. There's a towel warmer in there." Himitsu gave him her brightest smile then turned on a heel and left the office.
He called after her, but she ignored him, closing the door a little harder than necessary. If he needed something that badly, he'd come after her, but she needed to put some space between them, even for just a few moments, to breathe and center herself. The whole interaction - the whole morning - had her on edge.
Their banter was nothing new. It happened almost daily. Either he'd eaten her leftovers or she'd fallen asleep on the couch with the television on. Again.
Living together was awkward. She had her own room and her own bathroom, but sometimes the spacious apartment felt suffocating. The conditions of her "freedom" stated that she was only allowed to leave the building when accompanied by Hawks or another designated member of the Commission, so the only times she wasn't being watched were when she was alone at home and when she got separated from the hero while capturing villains.
She'd traded one prison for another.
The other agency members regarded her with curiosity as she wound her way through the office to the cubical that would serve as her workspace between patrols. She'd study files and do paperwork when she wasn't protecting the masses from the bad guys. She dropped into the chair with a sigh, trailing her fingertips along the edge of the desk. Hopefully, if there was some divine force in the universe, it was having a good laugh at her expense.
