IM NOT TRANS IF ONE DAY I DECIDE TO DO DRAG AND LIKE BEING CALLED HE/HIM SOMETIMES U NEED DISCOMFORT WITH UR BIRTH GENDER TO BE TRANS OR ELSE THERE’S NO POINT IN TRANSITIONING. also also wish theyd change the term “nonbinary.” it’s nit picky but it bugs me and it doesn’t make sense. gender is still a binary, you’re just inbetween the binary like an intersex person. and gay and straight people can like nonbinary people bc it’s not a third gender, just like how intersex isn’t a third sex, and that doesn’t necessarily make u bi. a gay man may only be attracted to male/masc presenting nbs but that wouldn’t make him bi. but if he’s attracted to female presenting nbs then yeah he might be bi. but sexuality is a binary and nb people don’t account into that. gay men are gonna be attracted to men and male presenting nbs because the brain sees them as male, also might be into androgynous nbs if he’s into androgynous men idk. but sexual/romantic attraction is a binary and androgyny isnt a separate gender, so nb people, however they present, aren’t counted as a separate gender when it comes to attraction. cis and binary trans ppl can be androgynous and thats not a separate gender. fem or male presenting nbs are seen as male or female by the brain, and andro presenting nbs aren’t different from binary ones. SO YEAH BASICALLY NB IS VALID BUT SEXUALITY ISN’T AFFECTED BY IT AND ALSO IT’S NOT REALLY A THIRD GENDER BUT MORE OF AN IN-BETWEEN GENDERS SORT OF THING AND SAYING OTHERWISE IS HARMFUL CAUSE PRESENTATION DOESN’T EQUAL GENDER AND ATTRACTION IS STILL BINARY
