I was hoping this would all blow over, but since it's continuing to happen, now with people attacking other artists of the commewnity. I'm putting out my two fucking cents! Cause this whole art/character theft and pointing fingers, who stole what from who bullshit it driving me up the fucking wall!!
Long story short, it started with me and one other blog whose name I won't mention publicly. Despite the horrible light they tried to paint me in, I don't want anyone going to this person and ganging up on them. This person had some serious bitterness towards more "popular" artists and claimed that I've made characters similar to theirs and once used a pose they apparently used before (which was a very common pose, considering it was a reference from the game version of mega Y). Since then, they had desperately tried to conjure up evidence, narrowing down to the most miniscule detail how I've been stealing from them when I hadn't even known their blog existed until I was forcefully thrown into that unnecessary drama with the unhinged call-out posts they've made. With this being said, I'd like to point out that they never came to me or addressed this concern with me in the first place. They had every opportunity to privately DM me if they had suspected I was "stealing," but no, simply because they already made up their mind that I was a thief, that was a good enough reason to lack common fucking sense and decency, making what should have been a private issue public, going on to villainize and dehumanize me. And apparently, it hasn't stopped with me either, cause recently I've been seeing other artists in the community having to deal with this where people are being white knights on high horses, pointing fingers on how one artist's mewtwo looks "the same" if not "totally identical" as another artist's mewtwo. I refuse to believe it's a coincidence. But what makes me disgusted is that since TC's post, apparently it's had the opposite effect on some people and they're hopping on this blame bandwagon like it's some damn media trend!!!
This is NOT okay! Nothing about this kind of behavior is funny! It's upsetting to all of us. We dont need you causing problems where there isn't any, thinking you're doing us a favor! The majority of us are adults for gods sake! We are old enough where we don't need other people coming to us being tattle tails saying this person did this and that. That's what little children do! If you suspect any form of theft, I think I speak for ALL creators in this commewnity that we'd prefer you DM us privately saying something like "Hey, I think this person is copying you, might wanna look into it." And if possible, provide a link to the art in question, for which we would kindly thank you for making us aware and we'll handle it ourselves from there. Just a brief, yet SIMPLE interaction...that's all we ask!!! Don't even come at me with "Well, it's scary attempting to talk to an artist that's well known." Or dare I say ~pOpUlAr~ If you claim that taking the first step to send me a quick DM makes you nervous, yet you have no problem making public call outs in posts or asks, belittling and degrading what could actually be innocent artists doing nothing wrong, literally leaving yourself open to all kinds of comments and opinions from all kinds of people....I'm sorry but your anxiety isn't as bad as you say it is then, if being rude and ignorant in a public post/ask is easier for you. If you come to us, shaming someone else who 9/10 probably isn't doing anything wrong, thinking you'll be in our good graces for doing so, sorry, you're not going to be told, "Good job!" with a pat on the back and given a lollipop! You're just being an asshole.
Quick reality check for everyone who's made it this far before I end this train wreck of a rant:
People can have similar ideas that coincide with one another! There's only so much you can do when a whole community is focused around drawing the same character! We mainly draw mewtwos and mews, you're bound to find a plethora of similar colors, patterns, and designs because of it! Creativity only goes so far when trying to stay true to a character and not stray too far. It's not a crime to take inspiration from other artists' characters, we actually encourage this! It makes us feel good that you liked something we've done and you want to incorporate it into your own designs! It makes us happy that we inspired you! The line is crossed when someone does a literal copy/paste of a character down to the exact detail, and they call it their own original creation. That my friends is what stealing actually is!

So... About that shitty Cross take that one person made....
If you've been following certain creators, even this account, I'm sure you've spotted a specific idiot going around complaining about Cross being Trans-Coded and using Republican talking points to say that it's "forced" or "doesn't make sense" and whatever other bullshit that shouldn't even be looked at let alone acknowledged. HOWEVER, instead, we are gonna sit down and talk about how the Trans Experience is so versatile and why Cross (and similar characters) being Trans-Coded is actually extremely important.
Gender nonconformity is fucking terrifying to Republicans, this is why it's been one of this generation's favorite punching bags.
If you look at the women who are tied to the Republican Party, you see a lot of hyperfemininity, so much so it's easy to tell that Barbie is considering suing them for stealing all her plastic.
Jokes aside, gender affirming care is gender affirming care and they are using the same gender affirming care that trans people have been using for years. This isn't only about nail products and cosmetic surgery, but also breast reduction or implant surgeries.
Gender affirming care however, is demonized by the right because they don't get it nor do they acknowledge that there is a range to it.
I once read a story about how one person had realized they were trans because a friend of theirs pointed out that when they had the option of choosing the gender of their playable characters in gaming, they always went with the gender they were not assigned at a birth. Example being an AFAB person constantly choosing male characters.
Though I have not finished watching Underverse this is applicable of XFrisk and XChara shoving the name "Cross" onto... Cross. They are pointing out he is not Sans despite being assigned that name since creation. Their true intentions here had cruelty in mind, but Cross made the name his own.
He is in denial about it which is applicable to how a LOT of trans people are in denial about it sometimes. Hell I remember a Right Wing talking head on Twitter who had tried to transition, detransistioned due to pressure from their family and then stayed at their assigned gender because of it and falling for the Republican propaganda.
Denial isn't just a river. It never has been.
Some people are in denial about their gender identities and sexual orientation and with the coming presidency we are going to see a rampant uptick in that statistic. With that coming, characters like Cross are needed far more.
Cross's story, as far as I've seen, is rough and follows a lot of self-acceptance and self-advocating storylines. Even when it comes to the biggest things that anyone from the LGBTQIA+ has to face, one of these struggles being the fear of rejection and/or being rejected by one's peers.
From what I've seen when it comes to spoilers is that Cross does end up being rejected by those he was close to before meeting Ink, and thus has to come full circle and accept himself by saying "I am Cross". He has to deny the name he went by in the past. He has to because if he doesn't, he'd be giving in to living in denial of who he truly is and thus be living a life of suffering for no reason than to keep others comfortable, setting himself on fire to keep people who couldn't give a damn about him warm.
A lot of Trans people have to show their rejection of their past or even the acceptance of that past to come to terms with themselves. Each person is different when it comes down to finding who they are and accepting that. It depends on the individual.
Some treat their past and their deadname as though they're a completely different person or someone who died so they could live. Think of a phoenix rising from the ashes.
Others treat it like their past self was the caterpillar where their new and true self is the butterfly.
Is it perfect?
No.
Is Jakei a perfect writer?
No. Neither are a lot of my favorite writers and franchises (I'm looking at you Riot Games and your shitty centrist takes on the worst of human history's sins).
But some of the things that imperfect writers make are beautiful and Cross is one of them. He is one of the few characters that speaks for the writer when it comes to saying "I see you, I see your pain. I see your suffering. You are not alone. You deserve to live your life the way you want to. You are valid."
But there are a few questions that the more clueless of people are going to ask.
Why bring Politics into this? And why do Republicans like the media made by progressives?
The answers are FASCINATING.
I bring Politics into this because Republicans, specifically Cishet white people, have made everything political since the beginning of time. Everything they don't like, everything different from them, everything they don't understand, and everything that directly rebels against their patriarchal idea of "paradise" is now considered "Political".
I remember a Republican had argued the dumbest thing once, and I was so dumbfounded I had to take a step back because holy shit.
Their argument was that black people enslaved each other which made their enslavement by white people their own fault.
Now if your jaw is on the floor, you already know where the problem is. If you don't get where the problem, is let me ask you something.
If that is the case, who was the one who made it all about skin color?
I'll tell you.
It was the white people (who were Democrats before the massive party switch, which makes them modern day Republicans).
Who were the ones who made having jobs all about gender? It was the Cishet white men (99% of whom are Republicans).
Who constantly demonized the LGBTQIA+ community during the Stonewall Riots? Mostly Cishet White Republicans.
Who are demonizing Trans people right the fuck now? Republicans and Pick-Me Gay people who vote for Republicans and side with Republicans thinking that the Republicans will finally accept them when they know Republicans won't fucking do it.
Being LGBTQIA+, making non-white characters, making a character a woman, it makes that character "Political", and "Political" characters are always the ones put on the spot for accusations of "forced diversity" and "perversion" where anyone with a working sense of conscience will understand this is a talking point butthurt Republicans or those warped by Republicans pulled out of their assholes looking for a problem where there isn't one.
All art, be it animation, digital art, traditional art, singing, writing, is political. They've always been political.
Do you want to know why Republicans are always bitching about coffee orders? It's because the Enlightenment era thus leading to the Romantic Era of literature was started because of coffee shops it was where all the best writers hung out. The moment they met each other and started talking to each other, the Enlightenment and Romantic Eras started taking off in full force.
It is because of the Enlightenment and Romantic Era writers we don't have Child Labor anymore. A lot of their writing brought talks of nature and the horrors of Child Labor into question. You can't talk about the history of Child Labor without talking about William Blake's Chimney Sweeper and Elizabeth Barrett Browning's Cry of the Children. You fucking can't. Without Blake and Browning we'd still have children in mines and on rooftops risking their lives to clean your fucking chimney.
And here is where we get to the why. Why Republicans LOVE progressive media.
Here is a little secret.
All shows and media made by Republicans are shit because it is all Propaganda.
I know. Shocker.
Look around.
Mr. Birchum, New Norm, Leo and Layla, it's all propaganda. It's all the same Republican talking points that they never shut up about and even then they don't know what they're talking about.
Ask a Republican what "intersex" means. Do it, I dare you.
They won't fucking know but they'll tell you that it's Satanic and shouldn't be allowed near children.
They'd never guess that it's a spectrum of natural gender nonconformity and mixed sexual/hormonal characteristics such as having PCOS or being AMAB and still having a functioning uterus. They don't care that their delusions about there only being "male" and "female" for reproductive sex options has led to medical malpractice, social abuse, murder, and erasure of intersex individuals, and the ones that do know about intersexuality diagnose it as a "Differential Sexual Development Disorder" as if just being born intersex makes someone's existence inherently wrong with an inherent need for surgical and hormonal "correcting".
Republicans like progressive media because it knows how to say something and still be well written. This is why Republicans LOVE Star Trek, Star Wars, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, and Arcane.
It's all progressive media but it all knows how to build a world and say something. Good writers are progressive and know how to write.
Don't get me wrong there is a LOT of fucking garbage that tries to be progressive but that is a small outlier that Republicans LOVE to bring out and bash on to say that we're the ones who ruin media. They make false equivalences to try to make you stop thinking. They need stop-thinking clichés and talking points because it's all they have. But they are so fucking terrified of anything different from what is in their stupid bubble that saying "Oh yeah the champion Taliya is trans" will send them screaming and crying.
Yeah, Riot Games danced around the fact that one of their characters is Trans because they knew she'd scare off the entirety of the Republican player base. They had to hide it and use her magical girl skin to gently hint at it with "Yeah when I'm in this outfit I feel more like myself!" and the entire multi hour long Star Guardian album animation having the Trans Flag being the main pallet on everything.
I honestly wonder how many Republicans ran off when they saw THAT CaitVi scene in Arcane.
Republicans just hate anything that isn't Cis, isn't Hetero, isn't a man, and isn't white. This is why it's not uncommon to find that cishet white men are always found at Klan rallies or the modern Klan rallies which are called "Trump Rallies" these days.
This is why a lot of exhausted Democrats, Liberals, and BIPOC, Feminists, and LGBTQIA+ people have been laughing their asses off at the Pick-Mes who are getting fucked over now that they realize that surprise surprise, Project 2025 was the plan! We fucking told you so, dipshit!
This is what you asked for dumbass! We tried to warn you. You didn't listen. LESSON FUCKIN LEARNT!
Republicans like progressive shit because we make good media.
Republicans HATE anything that isn't CISHET and WHITE.
Now, am I saying all this to claim the person who made that anti-trans Cross post is a Republican, an abuser, or anything else that contributed to this systematic nonsense? Absolutely fucking not. That's an extreme statement to make and they're most likely just a very mislead kid who may or may not have been influenced by a couple of these problems, and them acting out the way they did is perhaps a reflection of how important it is to acknowledge these things even if our community is just fandom and the point is to have fun, to have a distraction from all the bad powers at play.
Either way, their actions pissed me off. Hope they learn.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. Get the fuck out.

fun fact about operation birthday takeback: nickelodeon's s&p department actually asked showrunner lindsay katai if she would consider changing the ending, not because it actually violated any standards or practices, but because it made them feel too sad
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don’t know man I’m with the S&P department here this kid is going THROUGH IT and it is shattering my heart. Like I don’t know about you but seeing kids hurting hits a hell of a lot harder then when it’s adults. Even as someone who isn’t interested in having kids theirs just something fundamentally wrong about seeing adults beat down a child and get away with it.
He found out someone who he thought was his first real friend made a wish to befriend him (she is his real friend and wasn’t after his money but this is from Devs pov here) and is pretty sure it was just to get access to his fathers money, his dad cares more about Hazel then his own son and ruined his first real birthday that he thought he could really enjoy now that he had friends due to sheer laziness and not bothering to get to know Dev, and his godparent is only interested in shoving more stuff at him then trying to form any sort of real connection with him.
The animation department and VA absolutely nailed this final scene you can feel the agony Dev is in and the confusing clash of rage and pain festering inside of him. This is a very young child who has no tools or understanding of how to properly process and deal with these heavy emotions and has no one he feels he can turn to, to help him.
His teachers don’t care, his dad doesn’t care, he thinks his only friend doesn’t care (which again is wrong but he doesn’t think that and even if he thought they where friends Hazel is not even remotely equipped as a fellow ten year old to deal with this stuff she’s TEN), his godparent is more concerned with work then with Dev (notably very similar to his dad who is more concerned with work then Dev so their has got to be some triggering stuff mixed in with that).
When Dev called for help from Peri, Peri didn’t answer and Dev didn’t bother to try again because he realized that Peri wasn’t going to come and likely in his mind realized Peri didn’t care enough to come. This is a kid who has been taught he doesn’t matter, he’s not important enough for people to care and his beliefs and fears repeatedly get reinforced.
I think this is the first (and potentially only?) episode to end on a real sad note like this. The episode ends with Dev flying off audibly crying and there isn’t any sort of joke or punchline after it. Thats what we’re left with, a very young and abused child in tears after his birthday was ruined, destroying everything he thought he had with it.

hi! a friend of mine just sent a post you made around a year ago, about how peoples' d&d characters usually have that underlying theme that ties into them as a person. I had a hard time wrapping my mind around it, because the characters that we all play can be so incredibly different. I was wondering if you had any advice on how to "find the thread" or something to that effect. I might not be able to read myself or my friends as accurately as you read yourself, your betrothed, or your betrothed's friend, but it's just such an interesting idea that I knew I had to try and pick your brain about it haha. best wishes <3
Its not just about the characters, it’s really about the person. The guy I analyzed had told me he grew up in the south unaware he was queer.
The more he talked about his characters the more clear it became that he wanted acceptance above all else but was convinced that was something he needed to earn by making himself useful.
I guess I’d say it just takes practice and intuition. Look for similarities between the person and the character and where that similarity is rooted.
I think it’s actually really hard to do for yourself. My beloved is the one who pointed out that mine is loneliness and lack of acceptance. I was the one who pointed theirs out as being self worth.
It’s an easier trick to pull when you know someone really well, and you know what they struggle with. You’ll start to see where even though the lens is different their character struggles and overcomes similar obstacles.
But UH. Be careful. Cause a lot of the notes on that post are people aggressive that their vulnerabilities are exposed.

As much as copyright law sucks, its unfortunately one of the only legal venues with any sort of real power for artists working in creative industries to protect their livelihoods and colleagues. Unionization alone isn't going to stop companies from scraping people's work, especially not people who are non-union or freelancers, and unions like SAG-AFTRA keep throwing people who aren't making top-dollar under the bus for "ethical" AI startups they partner with anyway, even when said members call them out for siding with corporate over their own due-paying members. When corporations who normally try to shut down creators with DMCA takedowns are now violating the IP of countless creators themselves, why shouldn't we at least hold them accountable to the same laws they already use against us?
because it will not work. I truly cannot stress this enough, whatever meager personal gains that some industry artists are able to acquire in isolated cases against startups and other boutique tech ventures will set the precedent for which the corporations that actually control your country (who have infinite resources to expend on legal ventures) will use to push the law further in their favor. disney already does so much to prevent their IPs from entering the public domain! if you give them an avenue to exploit, they will do it! and it won't matter who was actually right because they have they have so much more money. artists and indie animation studios that could pose any threat to corporate monopolies on art will get C&D'd out of existence for superficial similarities. karla ortiz' lawsuit was so vaguely worded that you could hypothetically pursue someone legally if they had artwork of yours saved in a pinterest inspo board since CLIP models were framed as "trade dress databases". this entire movement is more concerned with potentially obstructed opportunities to rent-seek than it actually is about workers rights- or even simply art that was not created with the intent of being 'content'. and the same industry artists who spearheaded this frenzy will side the the corporations when it comes to it because they've already got theirs.
copyright is never made with the interests of individuals in mind. like, i can't even begin to explain how historically, the little guy is the one getting fucked over by copyright law! how so much of what shapes our culture exists in spite of copyright law as opposed to because of it. what drives me insane is how ai is the thing that artists end up rallying around in unity; not anything to actually improve the quality of life working within the arts, but instead a fad technology. i've seen people describe working in animation as being like a form of debasement and act like nothing can be done while i'm witnessing an entire movement unfold to protect that because a lot of artists seem to think of themselves as temporarily embarrassed small business owners over workers.

What are the personalities of each of the fallen humans and can you tell me some facts about each of them?
Without major spoilers
Morgan has immense patience but has a bit of anger issues. It’s supposed to an ironic thing where someone with such an affinity with patience has the anger issues of the group. Most of the soul traits are determined by what they view as that soul trait. So Morgan defines patience as sticking it out even if it annoys her. Kinda similar to how bravery doesn’t mean without fear, but to push through the fear to be brave. Also her and Percy constantly fight as they’re the one who gets on her nerves the most, but if anyone else hurts or insult them, then they defend like a wild bulldog. As for a fun fact, Morgan is very interested in medicine thanks to a monster in her game, if she had the chance to grow up, she’d want to be a doctor. This is a reference to the bandaid in the omega flowey fight.
Nick is a himbo, but not in the traditional sense. He is the only character amongst them who wasn’t raised from a Germanic, English, or anything else like that. From his design, he is supposed to be from one of the indigenous tribes in North America. We didn’t want to be specific as we don’t want to offend anyone, so we made our own tribe based on the Cree tribe. That’s where most of his clothing references are from and even his gender, as he is two spirit, specifically the Cree Tribe’s “ᐄᓇᐦᐲᑲᓱᐦᐟ, înahpîkasoht: "A woman dressed/living/accepted as a man" or "someone who fights everyone to prove they are the toughest"”. As we searched more on Native American tribes we learned more on how they don’t view gender and sexuality the same way we do. So essentially, he has more of a culture shock rather than being outright dumb, which we thought would be very interesting. We looked at a lot of references on here and other places for how to make Native American characters to make Nick as respectful as we can. In his character sheet, it was clarified his real name isn’t actually Nick, rather a nickname as his friends when he went into the underground couldn’t say his name, thus a “Nick”name was born. Fun fact: Percy is the only one in the group who can actually say Nick’s real name, which solidified for Nick that this is now his sibling and his favorite person.
Stella is the stressed out mom friend of the group, trying her best to keep everyone alive and to not make the same mistakes she did. She tends to be very secretive as an incident in her life caused her to not trust telling anyone anything. Her story is compatible with undertale yellows hints on the integrity souls story, but revealing more would be big spoilers so I will not describe much now. The one thing I will say is a fun fact about her game that we had in mind, at the start of the game you do not have access to spare or act at all, so the pacifist run is still the true ending as you have to use those as they unlock over time to achieve it.
Percy is the resident smarta** of the group, correcting the other kids when they get something wrong with slight jabs. If you know Danganronpa think byakuya but more likeable and less of an a**hole. They’re the smartest of the group but still can be silly at times. They’re a bit self conscious as they weren’t very well liked in their village, which is why when Nick proclaimed their his sibling and favorite person now, it gave a rare moment of softness for Percy. Their fun fact is that theirs and Rosemary’s games are linked, but not in a buddy system. Essentially, Rosemarys half of the game is the present whilst Percy’s the past and it has different sections that show both half of the stories. If you’ve watched once upon a time, the structure is similar to that, where there’s a problem presented in the present and the past that mirror one another, till at the end they meet together in the story.
Rosemary is an extremely kind girl but can be very chaotic. Shes the one of the three characters of color in the group being Mexican and is the only one who actually has a confirmed mainstream religion, Quaker. Shes a savant in cooking many different dishes, one of her mechanics in her game is that she makes her own healing items with food items you find around the underground. Shes the only kid out of all of them who doesn’t really have depression, but is very traumatized as her death was the most brutal out of all the kids. Fun fact, she’s the only one who doesn’t eat something religiously like the other kids. Chara is chocolate, Frisk is snow, Morgan is snails, Nick is dirt, Stella is roses, Percy is pencils, and clover is gunpowder. She has an aneurysm everytime they eat those things, as it’s food sacrilege in her eyes.
Clover’s the other parent friend of the group, being the fun, goofy parent that balances out Stella. They have this need to help others even if it means detrimental to themselves. Most of us probably knows what happens in undertale yellow anyways, so I will talk about our own addition which is their relationship with their little sister. Clover is about 5 years older then Annabelle and was born just before America hit the Great Depression. Clovers parents were alright before but thanks to the stress of not being able to afford two kids and their apartment, they soured overtime. This made clover essentially become Annie’s parent, which is why they’re so parental with the others while still being quite goofy, they’ve done it before. Part of the reason why they went after the kids was to get the reward money that would make them have enough to leave the apartment and start new. They first wanted to get back to Annie as soon as the mission was done, but when they realized what it’d take to get home, they became conflicted. They promised to come home and they never wanted to leave Annie in that house alone, but they knew Annie wouldn’t want them to do such a horrific thing in order to get back to her, and honestly they didn’t want to either. So as our add on in the clover death scene, we also had the others promise to find their little sister when they get to the surface and get her out of there, not knowing that the underground and the surface have two different flows of time. Fun fact, clover is supposed to be written in a way that you can see them either being a girl, boy, or non-binary. There’s supposed to be an explanation for why it could be either one of the genders that fits perfectly. If she was a girl, then they dressed themselves like a boy during those times in order to have more freedoms in the age they lived in. Whether that’d be it to find work or other things like protection. If he was a boy, then when they wear dresses they genuinely just do not care and wear whatever’s comfortable. We have a headcannon that they would absolutely wear the grom dress that luz wore in owl house. Clover’s official gender identity is gender apathetic, but they’re willing to also be called nonbinary as it is similar. Also all the characters have different assignments on what they refer to clover, some call them she, some call them he, and some call them they. We have a list ready for reference so keep that in mind when reading the comic as it may be confusing to keep track of the different pronouns.
Frisks and charas personalities is mostly going to be ambiguous as there’s big plans relating to their personalities that we do not want to reveal yet. As for fun facts, chara is the only one that was summoned by their corpse whilst everyone else was summoned by their objects.
Asriel/flowey is a part of the soul kids dynamic, and is supposed to be written very ambiguously just like chara and frisk. There’s plans of a mystery surrounding these three that the other six soul kids are trying to solve. Fun fact, Morgan is the only kid that knows that flowey is asriel right off the bat, as in her game flowey is a companion of Morgan like underfell. Flowey wasn’t as evil during her time and was trying to keep to being asriel, but was changed after Morgan’s death.
I hope this was sufficient enough to answer your question. Thank you for being the first asker!

for the ask game, etoile and karlach? :O
Karlach and Shadowheart expressed 0 interest in Étoile.
And with Shadowheart I feel like it made sense because she can be so guarded and both in the beginning and especially by the end she and Étoile had so many similarities that it made sense to me that this would not be romantically attractive to either of them, lmao.
But with Karlach! I was surprised that Étoile was just not her type.
Mind you, after looking at the prompt "Send me an OC + an alternate love interest for them and I’ll tell you what I think of the idea" and realizing that I don't need to think of a way to make it work, I can just straight up say that they aren't interested in each other.
Without changing the circumstances between them, or headcanoning various aspects of Karlach's character, they work best (and excellently) as friends.
She's monogamous, she worries she's missing out on elements of life including parenthood, she's a living heater, etc. My voluntarily childless polyam paladin of Auril would clash in relationship matters with Karlach a lot.
But as friends there's a version of their adventures where (au au headcanons now, whatever) the Icy Crystal from the Mourning Frost isn't enough on its own to cool the hellfire of Karlach's internal engine and Étoile and Karlach retreat into northern Faerûn where, in Auril's element and frigid tundras, Karlach's temperature is regulated inside and out, and she can live almost-normally out of doors.
Other au stuff would be enemies-to-friends where they clash with Étoile's adventuring and Karlach's, um, bruising, and I think it would be someone else in Étoile's main party who calls out to stop a killing blow, whether for information or for mercy or because the mission is in the city and was meant to be non-lethal blows only. Still, she's a fraction of their age and a hot-head even without her engine, so she snarls and goads and rages at being spared, and she laughs and she compliments her opponents and she stays tight-lipped on any information they want because her information is all she has now, not her dignity in defeat, not her job after this. She's spirited out of one life into another where she's conscripted into the Adventurer's Guild with promises of money and shelter, and with a ranking guildmember's assumption that she'll help them with what she knows because loyalty can be bought: even if Karlach's didn't have a literal price tag on it, it could be earned in friendship and the crucible of combat. Karlach is given difficult quests to usher this along, and she is predictable, giving the guild what they wanted when it feels like home, and once she has more to lose.
Within the constraints of 'true canon,' Étoile is a bad friend. They let Gale down, and they fail Karlach spectacularly. They are too much a coward, too selfish, and too distracted by their own goals to put up their life and their soul as collateral and follow Karlach into Avernus.
In my headcanons for 'what actually happens' where Karlach is able to stay on the Material Plane because Étoile is willing to destroy a relic of a past life of theirs and a (heavily implied) gift from their god, they're pretty intrinsically bound.

Hey there. The following content may make you uncomfortable/triggered. Take caution and stop reading if it becomes too much!
Warnings: toxic relationships, proshipping/darkshipping, suicide-baiting, some sexual stuff
Okay, so.
When I was around 12, up to when I was 13.
Around that time, I'd joined a discord server. Inside that discord server, I met someone. That someone. Well. I'm gonna be telling you about them a bit later.
What I'm gonna be telling you about right now is that I used to be a proshipper.
Around the whole time period I spoke/was in contact with this person, I was a proshipper.
I shipped and romanticized killermare, in the sort of canon dynamic where Nightmare physically and sexually abused Killer. Mainly sexually.
Now- no, this isn't me revealing I'm a proshipper. I'll never be that again.
This is more like a vent I guess?
It's more telling my reasoning? I don't really know what to call this.
Anyway- unrelated but I kinda wanna share this,
During the time where I shipped this, I mentioned it to someone and they told me to cut myself and jump off a bridge. Don't do that to proshippers gang.
Back to the story!
So-- I used to romanticize abusive killermare. And I'm gonna explain why.
Remember that person I met on a discord server I mentioned earlier? Yeah. Them.
So, first things first, giving them a nickname because if I use an actual part of their username I'm pretty sure I'm gonna breakdown lol-
I'll call them toot.
So- toot was my friend, we talked everyday.
Something about this is that, as mentioned earlier, when we first met I was twelve and our last conversation I'd been thirteen for a few months now. They were 14-15 throughout this.
Now, toot was mostly very sexual with me. Every conversation included them making sexual comments towards me, and even at times sending audios of them moaning.
This made me uncomfortable (which I said), but nothing changed.
Of course, this evolved, and eventually I feared any time toot messaged me and got angsty from seeing their name in my notifications.
Eventually, they also pressured me in sending "pictures" of myself.
I believe that our "special" relationship was what made me at the time a proshipper- I projected my fears onto what I romanticized.
Now, you might be wondering. "Did you eventually snap at them?" "Did you block them?" "Why did you stop speaking?"
So I didn't block them because I feared their reaction (they had another account they could've contacted me with), I didn't snap at them due to again, fear.
The only reason we stopped speaking is because they (luckily) lost interest.
My mind still flashes with memories of them when I see a pfp resembling theirs, or see a word similar to one they had in their username/one they had in their username.
Uh yeah. Idk what to add lol. Sorry if warnings were lacking something.

Fragmented AU -- The Cipher Zodiac Powers
Another thing that I was debating on to reveal, but I've decided to do so.
Proceed if you dare!!!
So, in Journal 3, Soos theorized that if they were successful in sealing/banishing/destroying Bill with the magic circle thing, they were all gonna get superpowers. A theory that Dipper didn't think was gonna happen.
Well, maybe not in Dimension 46'\.
But was made possible in Dimension 46-Delta, the version that the Fragmented AU takes place.
Perhaps due to a disturbance in the multiverse, the Cipher Ten was born with powers or would usually start to appear at around 13 years old. Whenever they use their powers, their eyes would glow a color. While they would share some specific ability, each of them have a unique power.
(I am using terms from the Superpower Wiki; one of my favs)
/////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Dipper -- Cyan -- Personal Energy
For any My Hero Academia fans, it's sorta similar to One for All in that a powerful energy generates and flows throughout Dipper's body. And I make the comparison because, in a way, Dipper reminds me of Izuku (nerdy characters, bullied, penchan for journaling, kinda talks out loud, deep idolization of their respective mentors...etc)
Mabel -- Magenta -- Imagination Manifestation
Couldn't think of any power better than this for a dreamer like Mabel. Now, granted, I was a little hesitant on giving Mabel this ability as it can easily be OP *Cough*GremmyfromBleach*Cough* coughing...However, I hopefully manage to come up with a limit. It depends on the scale of her imagination as well as her attention span and where she is.
(Note: Neither's powers manifested until the week of their 13th birthday.)
Stan -- Yellow -- Fire Generation/Manipulation
...I'm sure someone might make a connection of sorts. Also, blame @factual-fantasy for this (I love their AUs). Some back story time: as mentioned, some powers come around at birth, but for the Pines twins (both generations), theirs come later near the age of 13. So, Stan's powers manifested one day and he was surprised that the fire didn't really burn anything unless he willed it to. He wanted to show Ford, but decided to keep it a secret because...well he didn't want the bullying to get worse for both of them. It wouldn't be until later in life that Stan will show Ford, who has become aware of people with superpowers (ie, Fiddleford). Ford reacted... Well, Ford reacted in a way that Stan didn't expect and decided to not show it to him again. Interestingly enough, Ford had forgotten all about it, but Stan still remembers and refuses to let Ford see it again. He has a similar resolve to the kids due to what happened to their parents.
Ford -- Crimson -- ??? (Unknown)
As far as anyone is concerned, Ford hasn't shown signs of having any unique powers. Stan is curious, but figures that his high IQ is the power. Is that the case, or is it that he just doesn't have one? Or it just hasn't manifested yet, even into adulthood? Or maybe its because I have yet to make up my mind about what I want to give him? Who knows! lol
Soos -- Spring Green -- Stomach Storage
Only in the realm of cartoon logic would this make sense. Basically, Soos has access to a pocket dimension where he can store things via swallowing them whole and not chew it. Because if he does, it'll just go straight to his actual stomach. And while Soos is generally unbothered by it, the others took time to get used to it. And even then, it was still mildly unnerving to witness.
Wendy -- Amber -- Ice Generation/Manipulation
I originally wanted to give her something like super strength, but then I figured that it could just be a Corduroy trait. So, I gave her ice powers. There was a scrapped episode of Wendy getting weather-based powers and I am so curious as to what that would've entailed. Like, what was the story gonna be? How did she acquire that power? Would the episode reveal something about her mother?
Fiddleford -- Green -- Scanning
Whenever I get stumped on giving a character a power, I just take inspiration from their zodiac symbol. So, for Fidds, I just picked an ability called Scanning. He's like a human USB or 'data' storage of anything he sees, analyzing the data and information of anything not just technological and digital, but also biological, chemical and all that. He can also scan vitals (sort of like Baymax), which is proven to be useful when you have a friend who has a tendency to ignore his biological limitations.
(Note: I will say that both Fiddleford and Stan kept their powers a secret throughout their childhood and young adulthood, as one can imagine that once the word of their powers gets to the wrong person...well...things could've gotten bad for them.)
Pacifica -- Violet -- Animal Empathy
Another instance of me taking inspiration from the zodiac symbol. Not necessarily a Dr. Dolittle kind of thing, as she can't communicate directly with animals, but she can understand the animal's emotions and intentions. The same is said the other way around.
Robbie -- Gray/Silver -- Symphokinesis
I have seen four anime where singing/music is used in combat, Symphogear, Macross Frontier, One Piece, and Cross Ange, and I love it. I love music in general. So, Robbie can use this power via his own singing voice and guitar playing. Plus, he can expand the effect if he harmonizes with others through music. The effects and intensity of his powers usually lie in his intentions and emotions. After all, some say music speaks from the soul. From the heart.
Gideon -- Azure -- Telekinesis and Telepathy
Because why not? At least I didn't have to think too hard on what power to give the little menace. I'd imagine that with the amulet, he had very little limitations to what he can do with his telekinesis. But, since now it is his own power, it's very limited to what his mind can handle, which is surprisingly strong for a 10/11 year old. Remember: He's still a kid with kid-level emotions. Now, he can't read every mind and thought. Some mental walls are stronger than others and his telepathy usually works better on trusting/gullible/innocent people. Of course, it doesn't work on Ford for obvious reasons.

geto suguru, gojo satoru, and fatalism
im here once again with a long rant that i didnt really bother to reread. if you squint you can see it as a jujutsu kaisen 0 analysis. theres a part where i talk about geto in what can be seen as someone presenting passive suicidal thoughts, but its neither heavy nor explicitly about that so. just warning.
lately ive been thinking a lot about geto being left alone to do whatever he wanted for 10 years because gojo, the only person strong enough to defeat him, simply never tracked him down. almost as a consequence, i eventually put this together with the fact that, even though yuta was the one who did the "difficult" part of defeating geto, gojo was the one to deliver the final blow
one of the first things geto said after seeing gojo in that alley was "to think you'd be the one here at my end", but lately, i cant help but think: wasnt that actually the most obvious end? was there ever any other option of closure for them? and ive been into the idea of stsg + tragedy (as a genre) since i wrote this post, so this somehow resulted in me looking at them with some kind of lazy fatalistic lens
i really like stories where the character tries to flee from an imminent tragedy, but always goes back to the same place, because that is his fate. and, to me, this is exactly what happened with gojo when he tried to avoid killing geto. he didnt go after him, he spent 10 years standing still, believing the distance would be enough to run away from that moral duty
and then geto came back
and then geto went after gojo students. and then geto was the one who made their meeting happen. and then geto was the one who broke that barrier gojo had put up to avoid thinking about that unhealed wound. suddenly gojo was back to shinjuku, ten years ago, with geto saying that killing him or letting him go was his choice and that there would be a meaning to it
and i keep asking myself what was going on in his mind at that moment when geto appeared at jujutsu high? did he acknowledge that irony? did he acknowledge how that seemed like a bad joke being played on him? how long did it take for him to accept what that meant? was it in the classroom, after their talk, looking at the sunset and thinking about how they were actually quite similar to yuta and rika? changing the place of their conversation to the middle of the street, the same place where rika died her premature death? did he think about how they were also stuck at each other, cursed by love, and how the one who placed the curse must be the one to remove it? how, as said by the novel, the curse of geto suguru was a burden only he would be able to carry?
and this whole thing also made me think about geto. we know for a fact he thought that their friendship was over, that he wasnt someone gojo held dear anymore. we also know he thought gojo deserved to hate him, to curse him, to not take that last meeting of theirs and waste it treating him kindly so, to geto, what justified the fact that gojo never found him? i genuinely dont have a theory. im not even sure if i have a hypothesis that is in any way backed up by canon. but, what i can say almost for sure is that he never got it right. and him thinking gojo and him were best friends is proof of that
then the question thats left is: was geto ever aware of the tragic irony of his death by gojos hands? was dying by gojos hands ever a tragedy from his perspective? the way he never put up a fight against that possibility says otherwise. looking at his ideals, living a meaningless life seems a far more tragic thing for him. but wasnt that what he was doing already? doing his best for a goal he knew made no sense? whenever i think about geto saying he didnt expect gojo to be the one there at his end, i cant help but wonder: was that said in a positive way? was that a surprisingly satisfactory means to go? being killed by the person who cursed him and also the person he loved the most; to geto, was there a more meaningful death than that?

💎💎💎 Qweck for Mino? Since Giliys and Theo did theirs before!
I owe you a massive thank you for this one because this is how I learned Qweck, Servant of Irori on the Path to Perfection, has a very hard time not causing a scene when someone she respects has Wrong Opinions at a family gathering, and I love that flaw so much.
Qweck sighs. "Did Giliys put you up to this? Nevermind. Look. I like Mino - no, really, I do. She is disciplined and passionate and generally follows her conscience. Generally. And of course I respect her refusal to cling to unearned abyssal power, regardless of how the situation ended. But we can't seem to have a conversation without arguing. I think it's because we seem to have similar values, but we actually disagree fundamentally on some very key points of our respective worldviews. So one of us will say something assuming it's uncontroversial, and then the other will disagree vehemently, and then it just devolves from there.
"An example? Well, she made a comment once about the ultimate 'self-obsolescence' of the hellknights. The hellknights, she claims, are ultimately working for a world where they're unnecessary, and will disband once that world is achieved. I think that's nonsense - institutions like the hellknights are self-perpetuating, not self-obsolescent - but of course I had the good sense not to say so. Instead I just said that world she envisions isn't achievable as long as the hellknights continue perpetuating the cycles of violence that make her feel their existence is necessary. From there it turned into an argument about what hellknights actually do and whether caring for the foundlings they indoctrinate and groom for recruitment outweighs routinely employing torture, slavery, and terror tactics to achieve their ends." She clears her throat. "Just to be clear: I did not know she had ever worked with foundlings at that point, and I would never have pressed the point so hard if I had. We've had other disagreements, but I think you get the idea.
"It's unfortunate - like I said, I like her. I have tremendous respect for anyone who has the wisdom not to cling to unearned power, and the fact that she was able to recover from her ordeal with the demons while also running a crusade - I am a cleric of Irori. Of course I admire the strength of will that took. Unfortunately neither of us shy away from speaking our minds, and our minds are apparently ideologically opposed."

💋🌹⚙️ for Astrella, Klea and Laviii (feel free to swap them out if stuff is not applicable to them)
This ended up being lengthy, so under a cut it goes! And apologies for the delay~♥
💋 First Kiss
Tumblr media
Laviii - Her first kiss wasn't with her husband, much to his disappointment—he's just that sort and it makes her amused. It was actually to one of the other orphans in the orphanage when she was still there, probably about the age of nine. They both had just left the "ew, cooties" phase and were falling into curiosity. She remembers it was drizzling and they'd sought out shelter under one of the trees just before the skies opened. They had started laughing, they got drenched anyway, and his lips tasted like the cherries they'd had snuck out of the kitchen earlier. Laviii has always boasted of her memory and how good it is, but something always hazes over his name and his face. Honestly, probably some weird Mesmer magic which made her subconsciously suspicious of Tyki from the get go. His name was Cael though and he didn't really have anything remarkable about his appearance at the time. Nothing that would have drawn and kept Laviii's attention, but he was kind and didn't seem to mind her tangents and shared any apples he stumbled across in wanderings.
Klea and Astrëllä both haven't had theirs so… (randomizer) 1-21…and 4 comes up. So 📎!
📎 Siblings/Close Family
Astrëllä - Since she's my namesake, there are things that are similar about us, however family is not one of these. I only have one sibling—a younger brother—and Astrëllä… She was unblessed in that she's the middle child of five, not that she's close to her other four siblings. You'd think she would have been close to her twin, Aiar (M) who is older than her by five minutes, but it's actually the youngest, Dhianni (NB). They were the only one who seemed to actually be proud of Astrëllä and her academic achievements. Likewise, Astrëllä ended up being more of a mother to Dhianni than their actual mother; made sure they had access to anything they needed for their potion experiments. She didn't really understand the desire to go into that field but honestly…someone has to, she guesses. Though she has had to keep Dhianni from trying to test these potions out on their family. Rivals, yes. People who you've gotta sleep in the same space with? Nah… Dhianni, I think, is the only reason that Astrëllä would hesitate over actually joining the Ward. Mostly because she doesn't want to lose that connection to a beloved sibling.
Klea - Jazer Shadowsworn—her mother and Legionnaire—is someone she's semi-close to seeing as Klea has been raised as her heir to the Warband. (And honestly the rest of the Warband doesn't seem to mind the idea of it being handed down. They've seen her grow up, they know her and trust her. And she's not her mother, either.) But Klea would also say that they're not as close as others may believe, mostly because Klea has been quietly rebelling against the idea of becoming Legionnaire more and more the closer that time gets. Her closest tie belongs to a cranky old Thief who taught her stealth when she (and he) was younger: Kuudan Shadowdancer. He gave her glimpses of life outside the Warband as a core unit, that there was more out there. And she's still young enough that she's curious about it, enough so that she's willing to become a Gladium in order to step away from Shadow Warband and see what's out there for her own. But Kuudan keeps her where she is for now, out of her own choice. He's gotten a little more senile and slower in his older age and she's worried about him.
🌹 First Relationship
Tumblr media
Laviii - It wasn't the boy she had her first kiss with, he wasn't enough her type for that, not to mention he had long since vanished by the time she got interested in relationships. That one would honestly go to her now husband, Tyki Mikkk. (And he'd hate to hear this, but he did/does remind her of that first kiss. We're blaming the mysterious Mesmer feeling…) She wasn't even going to date him to be honest, there was just something about him that made her suspicious and yet familiar as well. And honestly that alone made her even more suspicious, because where does he get off being familiar but she can't place it with her memory? (Again, damn Mesmer magic.) Tyki was very persistent, however, and somehow they kept getting partnered up for Pact work, so she couldn't escape him if she wanted to—at least not without getting in trouble. He was her first, because she didn't like or want any guy in Divinity's Reach, she also didn't want to end up stuck in the city with multiple babies while he was at the tavern. And that was the lifelong goal of a lot of those men.
Astrëllä - She did actually attempt a relationship just before she went into her first College, figuring it would be better to do it before and see if it was worth her time. Dasi was one of those oddballs that Dhianni worked with, an older Asura (closer to her age than Dhianni's) who made sure they weren't poisoning themselves as they concocted things. Dasi was a lot of what Astrëllä wasn't; very lazy in academia and not very driven in the sense that most Asura are. She was more than content to let others take the credit for her hard work, she was very much an extrovert where as Astrëllä chose to spend most of her time on her own or with a small few. They were on the verge of perhaps becoming something more steady than hanging out in the same spot close together and quiet little "meetings" to "discuss" work. (Not that their work was similar at all.) And the but here goes to Dasi deciding that relationships weren't something she wanted at that time, instead what she wanted was to go to the Jungle with the rest of the Pact. They tried to keep touch but by the time the Commander got to Tarir, they lost contact with one another. Astrëllä has, of course, feared the worst at this point since it's been years since any kind of contact but also no news of a body being found either… She hasn't gotten over Dasi, still holds out quiet and unspoken hope. Not even Dhianni knows about that what-could-have-been relationship. (Astrëllä was scared to speak about it out loud in case she jinxed it, but fate jinxed it already…)
Klea - Icilius Shadowstone—he was the world's sweetest and biggest (and floofiest) Necromancer in the Warband—and he also could creep up on absolutely anyone by accident. He awkwardly started to court her when they were fresh out of the Fahrar, having watched her (non-creepily) while they were there training. Klea was flattered by the attention since it was different than those trying to gain favor with her and thus her mother, this was purely for her. Icilius could've had her wrapped around his claw and did for a while, and he around hers, but we've got interfering parents on our hands. Jazer decided that he was too much of a distraction for her heir and cast him out of the Warband on fabricated charges. Actually had him "disposed of" as well, in that he was shipped off and told to stay away from the Citadel and from Klea. His current location is unknown, same if there's any remaining ardor for Klea considering a relationship with her lost him his Warband.
⚙️ Coworkers
Tumblr media
Laviii - She gets along famously—perhaps too famously—with several of her Pact coworkers. Or at least she likes to think so, some of them only tolerate her antics. But she's gotten used to that and often plays into it when she's feeling mischievous. Outside of the Pact, she has a few reliable Priory coworkers that put up with her for good reason. She's incredibly smart and intuitive, often coming up with the solution before some of her Asuran fellows. Explorer Parrel often comes to her with puzzles trying to stump her but he also has great fun in working them out with her as well. Since they initially stumped him in the first place. Arcanist Sorley and Scholar Arthwr—both Sylvari—often tag along when she's doing the rare solo missions separate from her husband. They say it's for her protection but seeing as she's stronger than them both, they all three know it's because they're going to get into some sort of antics. Gixx dislikes them all working together just because it reminds him so of Sieran…
Astëllä - Wouldn't necessarily say she gets along with many… Dasi's Krewe always welcomes her in when she needs their assistance or vice versa, but a lot of the time Astëllä works on her own. After all, there's not a lot of teamwork to be done digging for knowledge sometimes. Most times. Astëllä is very resourceful and if she can't get what she needs by her own means then she's not above asking for aid. To that end, Yezzud has become her go to within the Krewe for at least headings to the information she wants. So honestly, Astëllä tends not to be very social, but she's not awkward like I tend to be. She's more along the lines of… "This isn't productive conversation so Imma just ignore you." But she'll also do it in a much nicer fashion, "Oh, that's interesting. Well, I have to go ponder about this. I'll see you later." By which…most times…she means never in a planned sense. Coincidences exist sadly.
Klea - Shadow Warband, of course, though honestly she's still never sure if it's nepotism at play. Though she knows she's more than earned her position if this wasn't her mother's Warband… Elarriza Shadoweye often pairs with her on missions and they work fairly well together despite Elarriza being a sneaksy thief. Oddly, despite being Ash Legion, Klea doesn't care much for sneaking herself and thieves seem to do it naturally. It's…more so trust? But Elarriza has slowly earned Klea's trust over the years and the former is a little over five years younger than her. And Klea also recognizes that it's a good thing to have someone she knows she can trust as a second hand; it might end up being Elarriza one day. So she's doing her best to set her own prejudices aside for that matter.

Hi. I am bored and also wanting to bother you specifically. Which theory is better? Athena Cykes being a robot (evidence being widget, how did she never get hurt/see blood, Métis “studying” just being working with her code, autism) or her dad being the Phantom (this evidence is more Métis based like how would the psychological profile work without a match, why didn’t she just kill him, why doesn’t Athena see Bobby as weird, Athena gets double autism genes) Both work well in any context. I like Phantomdad cause Athena and Apollo can bond over terroristic fathers <3
omg me specifically… such an honor… ok lemme think this thru (this is a long one)
robothena:
• actually how does widget connect to her emotions… bc there is a way to judge how someone’s feeling based on bodily signs like pulse, temp., etc., but even at that a lot of emotions have very similar bodily reactions and part of determining how u feel is like… from the mind. if i remember my AP psych 5 correctly 😎 but also even at that widget wouldn’t logically have access to her thoughts that does not make sense unless metis like… chipped her??? or something????? which is still impossible
• i think if she’s sheltered enough then at 11 when she saw metis die, she might not have recognized it? but i feel it’s very implausible that she as a child would be so that intensely cautious + NEVER get into an accident + absolutely always be supervised enough to never get hurt. it is odd that her perspective would be that warped so that she’s unable to recognize it but idk. if she has no frame of reference is it human instinct to recognize blood… (i will not do further research at this time i am lazy)
• last two points u bring up i don’t think it’s mentioned what metis does specifically so no comment also elaborate on what you mean by the autism point because athena is giving neurodivergent but like what do you mean in context of that being evidence 😭
• she does seem to enjoy orange juice and little girl treats tho so how would that work… robots don’t really need to eat…
• also based on the navigation companions (ponco and clonco; only reason i know the proper term is for CAYA) why would her machinery be so more advanced than theirs? if aura and metis r capable of creating something so lifelike then why are ponco and clonco, made after her (i think) so far behind?
phantom dad ??:
• metis likely wouldn’t have a match for the phantom’s identity but it was simon who brought her the audio recording of the phantom’s voice i believe so that’s how she composed the psych profile knowing that. 95% sure because i had to look this up for CAYA
• tbf the phantom was wearing a jacket, but also yeah she likely could have done something in self-defense… but if they used the sword on her it’s likely any attempts @ self-defense wouldn’t have gone well regardless. there’s not really enough information in the game i don’t think to say whether or not there was an attempt or not
• bobby was able to fuck w his emotions in game and put on the appearance of emotions, if i remember correctly that was an aspect during the cross-examination/mood matrix part during it, so that’s likely why she didn’t find it off. and if she did, the game didn’t think to actually foreshadow anything by having her mention it either in passing or in her own narration during turnabout academy
i think athena and apollo both having terrorist fathers would be funny tho lol
but based on my minimal research as i consider this, the robothena one seems more plausible as it does better explain some of the illogical parts of the game. ofc it’s in the “future” but literally this made me realize that widget doesn’t make much sense with his ability to literally know what she’s thinking. like unless there’s some wack-ass science shit the writers just didn’t think necessary to share like… what is going on with that

Ignoring the older art. I got another silly au I might possibly write a fic about… but no idea on how to start it. Anyways. Futuristic AU where Both Viggo and Hiccup are partners to an organization that is essentially like a police force, though in a lot of cases it is ran more like a mafia. There’s been accounts of people going missing, people dying, all with the intact calling card of a once-close companion (and lover) of theirs that had supposedly “died” in the line of duty a few months-years back.
The only problem… the fact that the man on the security tapes is mostly machine, and while he’s of a similar stature to said man, he seems very. Blank. Very robotic. As the crime rates escalate, there is a trace back to Bludvist Engineering, a corporation that supplies quite a large amount of robotics to their faction, noted that this is where Hiccup got his prosthetic too, and the prosthetics that the duplicate(?) the automation has are eerily similar, minus the control tubes at the bottoms of the things legs (most likely full of fuel or drugs.)
Hiccup weasels Viggo into a situation to set a trap. They find that it is Krogan… but what is left of the man’s humanity remains for the most part in his face. In his mind, which has now been quite addled by some newfound drug (akin to Deathgripper Venom) Known simply as Crimson Tide, or Crimson, for short, which came be used to completely overhaul one’s mind to do someone’s bidding or dirty work, as well as give some pretty pleasant effects, for what accounts to months, if not years.
As Krogan comes down from the high for the first time in months, he finds himself surrounded by his lovers… but it feels wrong. It feels wrong because he’s not himself. He lacks, for the most part, anything remotely human; no genitals except for some small artificial glands to help keep his Pravin hormones balanced, to eat he needs to be fed a completely liquid diet because anything solid makes him vomit, and he has had his ability to feel pleasurable touch has been completely severed on top of that- and while they could probably restore it, his world feels very dead without the drugs.
Hiccup, Viggo and the others do keep him sane, though his hissing and whining gears and muscles tend to make him stressed over the fact that he can hear his movements when he walks.
I still have to think of other things after the fact… like omg… the idea of prosthetics for his more sensitive regions? How would those work? I figure with how advanced tech is, they could probably get something that functions well enough for more private things, but for the most part at first once Krogan gets his positive touch feelings back he’s going to be doing a LOT of cuddling instead of other things… and Viggo might have to get new furniture because Krogan weighs well over 1000 pounds with all that metal he:s made out of. Hiccup could perhaps make some tweaks so that his claws are retractable, with Viggo maybe making some other tweaks so that their code is perfect and that the prosthetics actually work properly.
Thoughts. Brain loud. So many possibilities:)
Ahahahah yesysysy Oml I’m in love with his claws msjsjsjsjsjdj!! Him just gently trying to stroke through Hiccup’s hair without scratching him sudndiendj! Also yes love the idea!
lol the amount of chairs he would brake rip! Poor Viggo’s bank account. I think that after he is ready for more intimate touch they would have a lotta fun with some,,,,very cool prosthetics ;) but yah it would probably take a lot for him to be able to feel things with his prosthetics too.
I’m not really knowledgeable about it but how it actually works would be so interesting. Cause if he could control everything robotically, presumably there would be connections to his brain and some sort of replacement nervous system, so using that kinda stuff maybe they could give him some sort of touch back. I’m not very knowledgeable about it but actually feeling something would be different to just controlling it and the people who gave Krogan this body probs wouldn’t care to much about how he interacts with the world and his senses but Hiccup and Viggo would, so somehow being able to give him feeling back would be so sweet! But damn that’s actually so interesting to think about I’ll have to look into it sometime cause all I have is my neuro course and year 10 bio and I remember basically nothing from them. But i don’t know if he’d have reflexes cause if you don’t have touch receptors idk i feel like that would mean there’s no chance to trigger the neurons and stuff to fire so maybe they would have to come up with a way to actually do that. I think it may be the somatosensory cortex that handles touch and reflexes and stuff but I’m not entirely sure about that so if that was intact maybe they could just find a way to tap into that. Regardless not having reflexes would be pretty good for a war machine lol. Anyway that’s kinda irrelevant but it got me thinking lol.
But ahahahah there’s so much adaption he’d have to do and Hiccup and Viggo helping him would be so sweet! Plus like the dangerous of the corporation and maybe even Hiccup’s inner struggle with using a prosthetic from that company for years after seeing what they did. He could start his own company once he and Viggo make better things lol.
Just a futuristic robot type of deathgripper venom is so cool, I’ve been watching The Boys and it kinda reminds me of compound V lol! And yes the addiction side of it would be so cool to look into, especially depending on how long Krogan has been taking it too cause assumably it would be pretty strong even from the first dose! Like the challenge of keeping Krogan in check and in control when he feels he needs it would be so heartbreaking! Even just losing things like not being able to eat would be so hard to adjust to and lacking feeling on top of an addiction djdndjdj that would be horrible!
Also I just love the inner struggle of ‘what is human’ for him to battle. Like it’s such a literal version of what I think would be a possible struggle for a more canonical Krogan. Cause he’s a weapon which naturally takes away some of his ‘humanity’ (from his perspective) and his ‘self’ and then this is like a literal and metaphorical stripping of those for him! Very cool!

I'm sure this video made the rounds some time back and I have a few things to say about the questions and some of the answers that were given.
This is the video in question.
youtube
the questions they asked are as follows.
Tumblr media
Early on in this video one of the people that agreed with #6 said something along the lines of, "I think people slip sometimes and say ignorant stuff, but if a person tells you that what you said is racist, and you argue with them, I think you are racist."
Now let me tell you why I have issues with that statement. Racism needs one solid definition otherwise it is a nebulous term, where anyone at any point can decide what it means. Therefore anyone can call you racist for any reason whatsoever. So as to the answer from me personally for #6, no I don't think this is true. And I think the only reason people believe it's true is because they themselves are in fact actually racist.
This is wholeheartedly can't work. But let me elaborate on the rest of these.
#5 No I have never once struggled with my sexuality. (mind you this is different from sexual orientation which I've also never had issues with)
#4 Consent is a very clear concept. If you have confusion about it, you either have never been taught about it at all, or they've been taught strange things about consent. Specifically ideas like frequent and constant verbal (near contractual) consent. Which if you grow up where that is the idea you might not fully understand it. This is not an argument against consent. However you should talk to your intended partner about that when you cross that bridge.
#3 So this one is kinda a weird question. This is hit or miss depending on who you ask and what's it's in reference to. If you are talking about parental rights, men have almost none. Whatsoever. More so when you are talking about legal issues. Men have been pushed to pay for child support for kids that were not even theirs. They serve more jail time for same/similar crimes. Title 9 argues to destroy the lives of men on accusations alone (guilty until proven innocent) and there are a number of other things I can mention here. Are there more powerful men in the world than women? Sure. But also it's a mixed bag.
#2 >.> I don't like that this question was asked because conceptually speaking, depending on answers these boys give, certain people will go out of there way to claim, "Rape Culture" when fact of the matter is specifically it's asking about fantasies. Not "have you ever wanted to do it". Which are 2 very different ideals. How so? There are actually a lot of women who have rape fantasies. In BDSM, there is a concept idea known as Consensual Non-Consent. IE: RapePlay. It's consenting, while pretending, (larping) as if you aren't. Yes some people are into this. No that does not mean they would ever actually do that to someone else. I feel this question is loaded in this video.
#1 I can with certainty answer this as yes. And in a lot of different ways throughout my life. I was sexually abused as a child. I was abused by my mothers ex husband for years because he didn't know how to raise kids. I was even punched more than once when he was angry. And I've had partners abuse me emotionally, even going so far as manipulation, and hitting me. Some have even hit me intentionally in the "jewels".
Over all. I feel like the questions asked here were kind of bait, and were asked to younger people who didn't have a full grasp on what they were being asked and how the interpretation of those questions would end up.
