Eyes/Eyelids bug?!

For one time, one time only, I’m going to use this amazing posing-platform as a call for action. July 23 we had an update, the Lovestruck update. We all know updates come with things that are being solved, but mostly, we know how this goes, new bugs. With this last update, we as posecreators and you, the user of poses are sadly affected by a little change affecting the eyes/eyelids.

We can only assume what caused this change but suspect that it might be related to the new eyelashes that were added with this update. In quite a few poses where a sim needs to have their eyes closed, they are not closing entirely. So the sim still has their eyes slightly open. In some cases it can work, but in many cases it's a very noticeable and deforming change. We have noticed that it's also happening in EA animations where a sim sleeps but their eyes would stay slightly open. Some people have also noticed the issue in CAS where they can see a difference in the blinking animation.

It’s a very minor and small thing, but it can really make a difference in a pose.

A very good example is the below Gallery pose from @simplyanjuta. It shows the same pose before and after update. You can see that for the male sim, the eyes don't fully close as they used to, while for the female sim the eyelids look different too and seem tighter than in the original picture.

I want to ask you, because it’s the only way we can address it to the sims team, is if you also have seen this bug happening in your game after you updated the 23 july update, to hit ‘me too’ in this topic or even if you have examples, to add it in the topic.

I want to thank you in advance for doing so, and hopefully we can soon again be posing with sims eyes closed. EA ANSWERS HQ

I want to thank you all for all the support the Dot drawing received! I started working on the idea for Dot nearly a month ago, and chipping away at the design helped ease me through some loss and sad times this past February. I'm not used to getting such explosive reception to a post, but I'm thankful for all the love and support.

Hey! Firstly, thank you! And now I remind you again that I feed animals that have no home and family. For the last few weeks there have been only two donations and fewer reblogs. I understand that you are bored, but I have to write about it again.

These animals need something to eat, they are already used to me feeding them. I can't leave them for long. That's more than 25 cats and 5 dogs. Please don't ignore the post and don't let them starve for long. Because I am not able to feed them only by myself.

Also, do not forget that the war in Ukraine continues. Animals end up on the streets more often, because of this.
