Day 4: Trauma and Healing
Tell me Taichi wasn’t having a difficult time after Kizuna. TRY.
I bet you can’t.
I was preparing a comic! But I couldn’t get it done soon enough and I’m already late. SO! Either tomorrow or at the end of the week, I’ll post the finished comic!! But please take this thing from my drafts!!
Taichi’s grip on his shoulders grew tighter as Koushiro felt his back press into the offices couch.
After the week they just had, Taichi’s weight was just so comforting. Grounding him.
But the conversation that was to come was far from such.
And the way Taichi was going about starting it…
Because when the brunette leaned in and pressed his lips to Koushiro’s, he knew what this was about.
It didn’t take a genius to figure it out. Well, maybe it did. Koushiro did fit that description.
But this?
This took someone who knew Taichi.
Luckily he knew him like the back of his hand.
“Taichi—“
Taichi kissed him again, Koushiro engaging this time.
His hands went to hold the others hips, pulling him closer, hoping to maybe bring Taichi the same comfort he was bringing him.
It seemed to work. Sort of.
His shoulders were released at least.
Honestly, they really shouldn’t be making out in his office after hours.
However, when Taichi insisted on grabbing them some food and hanging out, Koushiro couldn’t bring himself to say no.
But he couldn’t afford to become distracted. They needed to have this conversation. He needed Taichi to be direct about his feelings; to tell him what was on his mind.
“Taichi-san you need to…T-Taichi, hold on, we need to—“
He expected Taichi to interrupt him again.
But he didn’t.
Instead, he rested his head on the crook of Koushiro's neck, and fisted the boys shirt.
“Do you know” his voice shook “How fucking worried I was?”
“I..can only imagine..”
“What if we didn’t beat that thing, Kou.”
Koushiro bowed his head.
“That wouldn’t have happened—“
“It almost did!”
“But it didn’t.”
Taichi let out a sharp sob.
He wasn’t going to cry. Of course not. He wasn’t going to, he told himself.
But now here he was, sobbing into his boyfriends shoulder about something that didn’t even happen.
Koushiro rubbed his hand up and down his lovers back. He couldn’t know how Taichi was feeling.
He could only guess. His guesses are usually spot on though, and this time was no different.
“Koushiro, if things didn’t work out..! I-I would have lost my sister, everyone’s digimon... I would have lost you—! A-And Yamato, I would never be able to look him in the eye again I— it was too much. J-Just too much, Koushiro and now that it’s over I—! I don’t know if I’m supposed to be relieved, or angry, or sad! I don’t know how I’m supposed to feel and it’s fucking me up.”
It was fucking both of them up.
Koushiro knew how to hide his emotions well. Always had.
But when Menoah turned out to be the perpetrator, he felt so stupid. So betrayed.
So used.
He hated feeling used.
Not only that, but the knowledge that someday, he might have to say goodbye to Tentomon…
But because of Taichi, he knew how to deal with his feelings.
Taichi was good at giving advice on such things.
But sometimes, he couldn’t follow his own.
“Taichi, you know the answer to that.”
“No! I-I—!”
Koushiro cupped the others cheeks and pulled him up until they were eye to eye.
He kissed Taichi sweetly before wiping the others face.
“Taichi-san,” he spoke gently. “You, more than anyone knows.”
“What..what do I know, koushiro…” his voice trembled, another sob waiting at the back of his throat.
“You don't have to feel a certain way. You don’t have to know how you feel.”
The red head pulled the other into a gentle embrace.
“You just…feel.”

Day 7: Free day All the healing! | Characters: Takeru Takaishi, Sora Takenouchi, Koushiro Izumi, Taichi Yagami, Yamato Ishida, Jyou Kido | Wordcount: 1.037

Silly boys
Takeru found her softly sobbing in the doorway when he arrived to pick her up. As he approached, she wondered aloud why out of everyone, it was him who had to see her like this. Why he was the one to check in on her.
“Because you are my nee-san,” He answered, even though she didn’t expect a reply. Sora looked at him confused. “Not really, of course, but you always felt like one.”
The smile that formed on Takeru’s lips made Sora carefully smile along. But just a discreet smile, since she was still pretty heartbroken.
Yesterday came the news that Sora and her boyfriend of almost five years had decided to breakup. Apparently they had mutually decided it, though it still came as a shock to most of the others. But Takeru had already seen it coming. He always had a special connection with the auburn haired girl. She truly felt like an older sister at times, hence why the breakup was just a matter of close observation and gut feeling.
Takeru also knew that next weekend would be an important Ikebana exhibition for Sora’s mother, and the whole group was invited. Naturally, Sora had also planned on bringing her boyfriend as her date, but this only further broke the redhead’s heart as she realized she’d be alone for the event.
Though she was strong, and after a full day of crying and eating ice cream with Mimi, Hikari and Miyako, Sora had straightened her back. It wasn’t a secret that Takeru admired Sora’s strength, but at times, especially these, he wished she was able to tell the people around her exactly what she wanted, no, needed them to do.
And he knew that what she needed was friends soothing her. And maybe a new date…
Takeru smirked to himself, increasing his pace and with it, dragging Sora along.
“Oi, Takeru-kun, why the hurry..?” She asked with a mixture of curiosity, tiredness, and annoyance in her voice.
“Because I’ve got to show you something.”
“But I’m not in the mood for anything. I just want to crawl up into my bed and—”
“Wow.” Takeru stopped suddenly, making Sora turn her head slightly in confusion. His hand held tightly to her wrist, the strong blue of his eyes grabbing the attention of her own copper orbs. “That’s not the Sora I know. I know you’re sad, disappointed, probably even angry, but you’ve got to trust me on this. Sora-san, do you? Do you trust me?”
A careful nod with a trembling lip said it all. He could see her swallow and it absolutely pained Takeru to see her look so sad and vulnerable. He flashed her his trademark grin and Sora finally let out a giggle, her puffy eyes beginning to shine as her red cheeks turned into a genuine smile. Even with the aftermath of her sorrow written on her features, Takeru was glad to see the old Sora was still there.
“I can see you have something in store for me.”
“That’s correct. Or… actually we. Anyway, so I take that as you trusting me, right? Good, because we’re almost there.” Takeru said as he started walking again, Sora’s hand in his, guiding her to the place where the surprise for his nee-san was waiting.
“Koushiro-kun’s office?”
Takeru nodded and brought Sora with him into the building, guiding her to the front door of the office. Silently, Takeru slid open the door that divided the pair from the office, and by extension, Sora’s surprise. Holding Sora’s hands in his own, his fingers brushing over her wrist, he could feel her heart pulsating like mad. It was an excitement he was happy to feel, knowing that Sora’s heart wasn’t truly broken just yet. Besides, Takeru knew that this would help with healing the heart that cared so deeply for him and their friends.
In the middle of the office was Koushiro, accompanied by Taichi, Yamato and Jyou. Genuine smiles on their faces, their bodies clad in kimonos that Sora herself had designed for the boys during one of her school assignments. Each of the boys had a flower in their hands, the same ones that Sora had used in her favorite Ikebana piece. Remembering how Koushiro and Jyou had done their utmost best to discover what flowers she had used was a great memory to him. It reminded him of the yellow flower he had been carrying with him the entire time.
“I couldn’t wear mine, since that would spoil the surprise,” Takeru said as he stepped forward and away from Sora, turning around so he could take his place between the boys with a wide grin on his face. He pulled out the yellow flower he had been carrying with him. “But I do have my flower.”
He looked at Sora, who was already tearing up. This time not from her broken heart, but because of her heart mending slightly with every piece of the sight she took in. She put her hand in front of her mouth when Taichi pulled out a small little box with chocolates, gasping a little since Taichi looked like he was about to pop another kind of question. Instead, Taichi hit Yamato with his elbow, beckoning him to step forward as well.
Sora’s emotions went from tearing up, to a flushed face, to an almost anxious one, unaware of what was about to come next. Takeru could see her swallow, and soon after an already small smile formed on her lips, copper eyes twinkling from both tears and excitement. And he thought to himself how much his nee-san deserved this little piece of all of them.
Yamato scraped his throat, making Sora’s heart visibly skip a beat.
“Please, give us the pleasure to be your date next weekend.”
It was for the first time since the breakup that Sora truly and genuinely laughed. Sora’s feet glided across the floor to the boys as fast as they could carry her, nodding fiercely and falling into their arms for a warm group hug. Tears of pure joy streamed down her face.
“We love you, Sora.” Taichi concluded for all of them.
“Silly boys,” Sora sniffed, “I love you too.”

Unused Scene from The Spark of Dawn
I'm in the sharing mood...
I wrote this out years ago but given how far into the fic I am, I don't know where I would fit it in if I end up using it. But I'll share it, anyway.
Ships: Taiora & Mimato
Some Context: Taichi leads a pirate crew (Jou, Koushiro, Mimi, Yamato). Sora is an unofficial member, whether she likes it or not. I also wrote this after watching the 2nd Fantastic Beasts movie where Newt talks about Tina having salamander eyes.
“Sora…” Taichi said. “She commands my heart and makes it feel funny. She might be stealthy and invisible, but to me, she’s grand and majestic, and there is nothing like her across the sea. She’s like… a whale.”
Yamato sat up and stared. Koushiro, who had just appeared on deck, stopped in his tracks.
“A whale, Cap?” Yamato asked.
“Yeah. I don’t know how to explain it.”
Yamato and Koushiro exchanged glances, and looked as though they were holding in their laughter.
“You shouldn’t ever tell that to a woman.”
“Why not?” Taichi asked.
“It’s just not very nice. They won’t react to it well.”
“But I don’t mean any insult. I find it hard to believe, Yamato. I know! Go tell Mimi.”
Yamato’s eyes flashed. “I wouldn’t dare.”
“Come on! I really want to see what she thinks.”
“Can it, Taichi! I am not going to call Mimi a whale!”
They heard a gasp, and Mimi appeared from the bottom. The look of horror on her face, the tears springing in her eyes told them all that she heard Yamato.
“Oh, I knew I shouldn’t have eaten all that calamari!” she cried, turning back down to the bottom.
“No, no, no, Mimi, wait…” Yamato immediately jumped to his feet to follow right after her. It was then that Taichi registered that perhaps his idea of a compliment was not very flattering after all. He looked to Koushiro with guilt as he heard the crashing of pots and pans down below, joined by Mimi’s sobbing and Yamato’s consoling yells.
“You know how I can get with the calamari, I should listen to you more when you say not to eat so much!”
“That’s because you always tell me to tell you that, Mimi! I promise, you look beautiful!”
“Yeah, right! I look beautiful - I look like a whale!”
“Mimi…”
When dinner was served, it was quiet around the dining table. The feast Mimi had normally planned was cancelled, and all the courses were reduced to one plate of salad for each member of the crew. Taichi looked around the table to see Mimi sulking over her plate, Yamato staring daggers, Jou eyeing everyone with confusion, and Koushiro giving a nervous, apologetic smile.

By Your Side
Word count: 3,474
Pairing: Taishiro
Read below the cut or here on ao3.
Summary: “Taichi-san, you spent years telling me to believe in myself. Either you would beat a dead horse or I’d finally conquer my insecurities. Personally, I’m glad it was the latter.”
Five times Koushiro and Taichi were being good to each other from childhood to adulthood. Rated T for zombie gorillas and Taichi's foul mouth.
5&6
“Taichi, be careful!” his mom called out. But Taichi had already taken off toward the monkey bars, leaving a trail through the pebbles that separated the swings from the jungle gym. The jungle gym was attached to a large fort-style playground set that was often the backdrop for Taichi’s adventures — today, he needed to escape a rampage of zombie gorillas, and the only way was to make it through the forest Tarzan-style.
He wasn’t tall enough to reach the monkey bars on his own, but he had learned that the big dome on the opening of the slide was the perfect height. He stuck his shoe between the slide and plastic log fort, balancing on the large bolt that held the slide in place. Hoisting himself up and over the edge of the dome. The monkey bars were about two feet away to the right, and all he’d need to do was jump. He better get going, too, because the zombie gorillas were headed this way.
Taking one look behind him, Taichi stood, like a hero in his own movie, and prepared himself. He only had one chance to do this. If he didn’t make it, the zombies would eat his brain and spread the zombie virus to the human race. Taichi couldn’t let that happen. With one breath and a battle cry, Taichi lept from the top of the slide, arm fully extended out to grasp at the monkey bars. He was going to make it. He knew it. Almost there.
His fingertips brushed the underside of one bar, and he recognized his mistake. The zombies won.
Crashing to the ground snapped Taichi from his fantasy. He’d landed on his hands and knees, now bruised and scraped, and he could feel tears prickling at the corners of his eyes as he sat on his butt and assessed the damage.
“Are you okay?”
Taichi looked up into deep, dark eyes that were filled with concern and a tinge of something else.
“Y-yeah. I just —” Taichi said, turning his palms outward and gesturing to the little red-haired boy, who was kneeling beside him.
“That looks like it hurts,” the boy said, reaching out to hold Taichi’s left wrist, turning his hand this way and that. “But you looked so cool! Like Super Sentai!” The boy looked up at him, then, wide-eyed and a smile full of admiration.
“Oh!” he said, like he’d forgotten something. He looked back to Taichi’s palm and pressed a small kiss right in the center. “My okaa-san said it helps the healing.”
“Th-thanks,” Taichi said, feeling his face heat up.
“Koushiro! It’s time to go home!” a woman yelled somewhere off to the left of where the two boys sat.
“Ah, that’s my okaa-san!” the boy said, scrambling to his feet. He bowed, then smiled and with a wave said, “I have to go now! I hope you feel better soon!”
Taichi sat there, watching the boy’s back become smaller as he ran toward his mom.
“Taichi?” his own mother called.
He looked back over his right shoulder.
“Oh, Taichi! Are you okay? Are you hurt?” his mother asked.
Taichi shook his head, looking back at his hand. “No, mom, I’m okay. I’ll be better in no time.”
9&10
“Koushiro! Pass!” He heard someone yell, but he was too overwhelmed by the two bodies blocking him. Koushiro was running toward the soccer net as quickly as his little legs would carry him. The two children to his right and left stood a whole head taller than him. He could hardly see as it was; his hair was sticking flat to his forehead, sweat beading down in tiny rivers that pooled in his eyes.
“Pass it!”
He saw a mass of hair whirlwind behind the kid to his right, and Koushiro prayed it was his teammate. He quickly stepped to the left, pulled his right leg back, and kicked the ball. He made contact, he was sure, but his feet got tangled somewhere along the way and he planted face-first into the pitch.
“Go, go, go, go!”
Koushiro lifted himself up just in time to see Taichi straight-kick the ball right past the goalie and into the net. He looked like a pro, with the sunset as his backdrop. Koushiro would bet his life that Taichi would one day be the best soccer player in Japan — better than even Kamamoto Kunishige. With a little more than 30 seconds to go before half time, Koushiro got to his feet and started trekking back to the bench. His chin hurt, and he could use a towel and some water.
“Oi, Koushiro!” Taichi was jogging his way, dimples framing his warm smile. “Hey man, great pass!”
“Ah, n-no, it was all you,” Koushiro said, looking at the ground. Peeking up at his teammate, he added, “You were amazing out there, Taichi-san.”
“No way! We never would have scored had you not ran the ball down the pitch,” Taichi said, reaching a hand out to ruffle Koushiro’s hair. “Honestly, you were awesome!”
Koushiro looked down again, his face suddenly warm. “Th-thank you, Taichi-san. That makes me very happy.”
Taichi slung an arm over Koushiro’s shoulders, pulling him into Taichi’s side. “C’mon, let’s get a bandaid for your chin. You’re going to look so cool. Coach said girls like battle scars.”
Koushiro heard what Taichi said, but his brain stopped working sometime around the word cool. Taichi thought he would look cool. And suddenly, Koushiro wanted nothing more.
11&12
It had been one year exactly since their adventure to the digital world, and Taichi was feeling a little nostalgic. School had been well enough, and Taichi kept himself busy with soccer and video games for most of the summer. Had it been a Saturday, Taichi wouldn’t have felt bad about spending the morning in bed. But it wasn’t Saturday, it was Tuesday, and his mom was expecting him to be alive by the time she got home.
Taichi rolled himself toward the edge of his bed, slowly extending a leg and an arm so he could lower himself to the floor. He lay like that for a while. He’s not really sure how long, but he heard footsteps in the hall and gentle knocking on the door — he must have dozed off again. At least he was out of bed.
“Onii-chan? I’m heading out now.” A pause, then, “Onii-chan?”
“Have fun,” Taichi called out to his sister. Hikari had adjusted to life without their digimon much better than he had, and he didn’t want to bring her mood down like that.
“Okay. Why don’t you invite someone over? Have some fun yourself!” Hikari was trying to encourage him, and honestly, Taichi doesn’t think it’s a bad idea.
“Yeah, maybe.”
“I’ll see you later, okay?” He can hear her footsteps retreating. Shortly after, he hears the door open and close. Taichi is officially alone.
Taichi stared at the ceiling, tracing patterns in the popcorn texture and thinking about the first time he met Koromon. The first time he evolved. The first time he understood the power of his courage. “Hey, that kind of looks like Ikakumon,” Taichi chuckles to himself. He’s probably imagining it. He could almost hear Koushiro telling him about how our brains are formidable and capable of filling in the gaps and playing tricks on us. He smiled and rolled onto his stomach, let out a groan, and picked himself off the ground.
***
Koushiro answered the phone after three rings. Taichi wasn’t sure why he suddenly felt nervous, like he was troubling the other boy or something. It was Koushiro. Koushiro, who showed up randomly at Taichi’s home just a couple months ago and helped his mom bake a cake. This is fine.
“Uh, Taichi-san?”
“Come over.” Taichi said, mentally smacking himself for being so blunt. “Please?” He adds before Koushiro can respond.
“Okay, Taichi-san. I’ll be there shortly.” And it sounded like Koushiro was smiling.
When he said shortly, he wasn’t kidding. It was maybe 25 minutes later when Taichi heard knocking at the door. They’d spent the last hour eating snacks and playing Mortal Kombat, and Taichi was becoming increasingly more irritated for the following two reasons: 1) Koushiro had gone through six glasses of Oolong tea and had already taken two bathroom breaks and 2) despite this, Koushiro was still kicking his ass. They were 12-3 with Koushiro in the lead, and Taichi had already decided that Koushiro was clearly cheating. To prove his point, Taichi had the boy pinned to the floor in a bout of tickle tortue.
“I’m not cheating, Taichi-san!” Koushiro said through giggles, accidentally kneeing Taichi in the stomach.
“Well, if you’re not a cheater, then you’re a magician, and that’s still cheating!” Taichi replied, poking his fingers into Koushiro’s sides.
“Me cheating is about as possible as Agumon being a real dinosaur!” Koushiro laughed. And suddenly, he wasn’t laughing.
“Taichi-san?”
Taichi’s face felt hot and wet, but he doesn’t remember how it got that way. Koushiro was looking up at him, concerned and a little scared. He didn’t want to look weak in front of his friend. He felt so weak.
“Taichi-san,” Koushiro said, softer, and Taichi lowered his head to rest on the boy’s shoulder, hiding his hurt in this pocket of trust. He felt a hand on his back as a sob wracked up his spine and out his throat. “It’s okay, Taichi-san. I miss them, too.”
17&18
“Who does Yamato think he is? Saying that kind of thing all cool and nonchalant. He should have known that Sora wouldn’t take it well. Oi, Koushiro, are you listening to me?”
He wasn’t. His heart was in his ears as he stared at his phone.
“Yo.”
He’d never felt so many emotions at once. But this really shouldn’t have surprised him.
“Koushiro. What’s so damn interesting that you can’t put your phone down?”
His phone was pulled right from his hands, and he did nothing to stop it.
“Oh.”
He’d laugh, but he wasn’t sure it would sound much like a laugh at all.
“Oh, Koushiro. Hey, man. That —”
“N-no, it’s fine,” Koushiro mumbles out. His voice is low, breathy, almost inaudible, and it sounds foreign to his own ears.
“No, it’s not. Dude, like, she could have at least said something.”
Except, she didn’t need to. Mimi returned to America shortly after Christmas, following their final battle with Ordinemon. Koushiro had never worked up the courage to properly confess his feelings, and Mimi didn’t owe him any kind of explanation for the photo she uploaded to her social media, captioned “So thankful to be in love with this guy.” She was kissing him on the cheek. They looked happy.
“She looks happy. I’m happy for her.”
And he was. Truly.
“That doesn’t mean your feelings don’t matter!”
“Taichi-san, really. It’s fine.”
“Clearly it isn’t.”
A hand cupped his cheek, thumb swiping just under his eye. Taichi is looking at him like he’s proving a point.
“We wouldn’t have worked out anyway.”
“Why not?”
He could hear tints of frustration in Taichi’s voice. He flinched a little at the words; that tone was usually reserved for Yamato. Koushiro decided to choose his words carefully. The last thing he wanted was to lose Mimi and Taichi in one sitting.
“Ah, I, um — I don’t think I’m bold enough to stand at Mimi-san’s side.”
“That’s bullshit.”
He flinched again.
Do you ever say nice things about yourself? Don’t you see how amazing you already are?”
Koushiro looked up, meeting Taichi’s eyes for the first time since he’d unlocked his phone.
“Amazing?”
“Duh. Koushiro, you’re like the most incredible person I know.”
But Koushiro didn’t really believe him. Taichi was being nice because Taichi was a good person. Taichi was a good friend. Taichi was the amazing one. Tall and strong. Fearless. A natural leader — our leader.
“Don’t look at me like that. Like you think I’m being ‘illogical.’ I wish you could see yourself the way I see you. You’re amazing. You are literally the reason we weren’t all killed in the digital world. You have your own office. You were the one who figured out that Meicoomon had backups of our digimon’s memories. You’re creating portals for us to travel between worlds. Portals, Kou. You’re so fucking smart, I don’t even know where you come up with all your ideas. And you turn every idea into a reality. You might think that isn’t significant, but I do. Mimi is missing out. Everyone is missing out on—”
Kou. Koushiro has never been particularly spontaneous. He was usually calculated and found reasons to justify his actions. I wish you could see yourself the way I see you. Taichi and his kind words had pushed Koushiro to some kind of breaking point. The trust. The safety. The idea that someone thought so highly of him and this sudden need to protect it all. You’re amazing. He had subconsciously leaned forward toward his friend, as if their physical proximity could solidify this moment, like maybe Koushiro could really become one with all the lovely things Taichi was saying. He felt drunk on his heartbreak and sudden excitement. So fucking smart. Taichi’s words itched their way under his nails and made his fingers twitch. His blood was made of fire, his heart a bass drum, his brain alphabet soup — the letters spelling out ‘significant.’ This whole situation was illogical. Maybe Koushiro, too, was illogical.
Taichi didn’t move, didn’t push him away. Five seconds, their meeting lasted. Koushiro pulled away, the world crashing down on him as he realized what he’d done. He braved a peek at Taichi’s face — he looked different. Eyes glazed, looking past Koushiro. Mouth slightly open, jaw slacked. Koushiro took this moment to panic.
“T- ah, Taichi-san?”
“Huh?”
“Um.”
“Oh. Hey. I’m hungry. Want to grab a bite?”
“Uh?”
“I’ll treat today, so don’t worry.”
Taichi stood, grabbing his duffle bag and his wallet, looking back toward Koushiro, past him, again. His face said I need to get out of this room. Koushiro stood slowly, not making eye contact. He packed his laptop in his bag and decidedly ignored his phone, still unlocked and glowing with Mimi and her new boyfriend.
“I know I said I’ll treat, but I don’t have a lot of money. Are burgers okay?”
“Yes, that’s okay.”
“Cool.”
23&24
Taichi let out a yawn and scratched the back of head. He was thankful for this Friday evening, much welcomed after the long week. Taichi had been meeting regularly with Koushiro and his team to finalize their presentation on the digital world. They were finally making headway with the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly to get safety regulations passed to ensure secure travel to and from the digital world, which meant a foot in the door to (hopefully) his future boss and a potential research grant for Koushiro’s team.
Koushiro had texted him earlier in the day, suggesting dinner to celebrate their hard work. Taichi suggested pizza, Koushiro suggested Odaiba beach. Taichi was a bit surprised — it would be about an hour to get there from the city — but Odaiba did hold nearly all of their memories.
He smelled him before he saw him. Well, he smelled the pizza. Taichi turned to find Koushiro approaching his makeshift picnic space in the sand.
“Taichi-san!” Koushiro said, picking up speed.
“Hey,” Taichi responded smoothly. “You seem awfully excited. You didn’t miss me, did you?”
Koushiro let out a huff, but smiled anyway. “We worked hard this week! I added some finishing touches this afternoon and sent it to Nishi-san for proofreading. It should be ready to go early next week!”
Taichi wanted to say how appreciative he was, but his stomach rudely interrupted. Koushiro let out a laugh and handed over the pizza box.
They sat in silence for a while, making their way through their food and enjoying the breeze coming off the ocean. At some point, Koushiro had removed his socks and shoes and buried his feet in the sand. It had been a long time since either of them had been to the beach.
“You know, I thought about bringing Tentomon here to say goodbye.”
“Really?”
“Mhm. I was trying to think of something special to do. But I was too busy with work to get down here in time.”
“I took Agumon to watch the ocean. What did you end up doing?”
“I locked my office door and hugged him as tightly as I could.”
“How did he take it?”
“He knew what was happening. It didn’t matter where we were as long as we could properly say goodbye. I think he was happy with that.”
“Do you think we could ever, you know, regain our bonds?”
“I’m not sure. But I hope that, if we obtain this grant, we can proceed to research the digital world for traces of their data. If I’m being honest, I’m not convinced that our digimon are gone.”
“Hearing that from you gives me a lot of hope.”
Koushiro doesn’t respond. Taichi looks at him then, and he looks serene. Relaxed. Hopeful. It’s rare for Koushiro to display his quiet confidence. But if anyone can figure it out, Taichi trusts that his friend will.
“Taichi-san?”
“Hm?”
“You’re staring.”
“Ah, sorry! It’s just. You look confident.”
“Oh,” Koushiro said, high-pitched in surprise. “Hm. I suppose I can thank you for that.”
“What do you mean?”
“Taichi-san, you spent years telling me to believe in myself. Either you would beat a dead horse or I’d finally conquer my insecurities. Personally, I’m glad it was the latter.”
Koushiro looked back to the water, the air between them filled with something strange and familiar.
“Hey, Kou?”
“Hm?”
“Remember that time in high school when you kissed me?”
Koushiro sputters, face reddened like a radish bathed in sunset. “Why on Earth—”
“Why did you do it?”
“Um,” Koushiro drawls like he’s not sure how to answer. “Well.”
Taichi waits patiently, but he’s never been a particularly patient person.
“I don’t quite know, if I’m honest. I didn’t realize it was happening until it happened.”
“Hm.”
“Uhh. I remember being upset. And you made me feel better. My thoughts were blurry at that time. Ehh. I, um. I think I, maybe, I wanted to be the words you were saying?”
“What do you mean?”
“Mmm. You said I should see myself through your eyes. You ambushed me with compliment after compliment. And it took me by surprise because you were always someone I admired. I wanted to believe I was all the words you used to describe me. I wanted to believe I was worthy.”
“You are, though. I hope you believe that now.”
Koushiro isn’t looking at him, and Taichi doesn’t think he’s going to say anything else, so he continues.
“It’s the same, you know. For me.”
This caught the other boy’s attention, but Taichi cut off whatever Koushiro was going to say.
“I wanted to believe I was as cool as you thought I was,” Taichi said, huffing out a chuckle. “I wanted to stand by your side and be someone you could count on. I also wanted to believe I was worthy.”
“Do you? Believe, I mean.”
“Yeah, I do.”
Silence lies between them, but it’s no longer heavy. Koushiro’s twitching slightly, gazing out toward the water, but Taichi can tell his mind is somewhere distant. He hopes Koushiro is thinking the same thing.
“Hey, Kou?”
“Yeah?” Koushiro breathes back at him.
“Can I kiss you?”
***************************************************
A/N
And that’s it. That’s the end.
This was a wild ride that all started with the concept of kisses to fix booboos — a trope I need.
Some minor notes:
-This is loosely based around Adventure, 02 and tri., but I chose to ignore the movies (ie: Children’s War Game).
-Super Sentai is what the US’ “Power Rangers” is based on.
-Kamamoto Kunishige is one of the most prolific soccer players from Japan and is the all-time goal scorer in his country. He played for Japan’s national team throughout the ‘60s and ‘70s, and it’s my headcanon that Koushiro only knows his name because Taichi doesn’t shut up about him.
-I know Taichi works with the UN in the epilogue, but I wanted him to be just a couple years out of college here, so I filled in the gaps. Because Koushiro has already made a name for himself in the tech world (and with the knowledge that his work involves researching the digital world later), I thought it would be interesting for them to work together with common goals. That said, I have no idea what Taichi’s career path would look like, so bear with me.

Digimon Adventure 2020 Ep 10 Reaction
YOU GET AN EVOLUTION!  AND YOU GET AN EVOLUTION!
So!  I was pleasantly surprised when Taichi said, out loud, that Ogremon fought for pride (and not out of friendship towards him and Greymon)...  But Yamato seemed to be calling bullshit, and suggested that Ogremon’s intel could have been incorrect.  I was all, “Oh boy, time for some classic Taichi/Yamato headbutting!”  And we did get a little!  At first, Yamato sounded really reasonable...  But then, he started to feel more aggressive?  And I had to :/ when Taichi was like, “I will carry this through!  I will save the city!”  And I’m like, “Son, there’s six kids and six digimon here...”
Also, did my ears deceive me, or did Yamato point out that they could die, point blank?  Man, what a tough kid he is...  I won’t lie, he seems so much more mature than the others...  But still a wee bit aggressive in an argument?  Which I like, given that these kiddos are all so sweet and well-adjusted.  (Does that sound awful, lol?  It’s just, it’s tricky to develop a character who has no personal issues.  Jyou and Yamato seem to have the most room to grow, maybe).
HmMMMmmmMMm...
Taichi and Yamato seemed to put the little argument behind them, and there was a nostalgic moment of Taichi/Yamato/Sora discussing what to do...  Interrupted by Tentomon doing the absolute cutest little “Koushiro-han made a discovery” dance!  Bless.  And ahhh, “You’re wonderful, Koushiro-han!  Isn’t he brilliant!”  I’m sorry, I just...  I’m emotional.  Everyone praises Koushiro so much in the Reboot!  *sob*  HE DESERVES IT, aHhhHHhHH.
So...  Taichi and Greymon go on to fight Metaltyranomon while the others head towards the presumed headquarters.  There’s a big ‘ol poison pool in the way, but more pressingly...  DANG it looked like Taichi got splattered and blown up a zillion times, but he kept coming back onscreen, slightly dirtier?  Like.  Greymon literally grabbed a missile, and they went WooOOOoOOOooOOOsh all over the place, lol!  How silly???  Guess missiles don’t... hurt humans in the Digital World!  Cool, cool.
The fight sequence was fun, with some nice music, but...  Well, I guess the Reboot is doing its own thing with what triggers evolutions.  In a way, it could be interesting to... not make so much of the plot and character development tied into unlocking further forms.  In another...  Well, you know I’m a huge characterization person, and my fear is that we’re only going to occasionally see character development...
Oh, but they keep calling what used to be the “perfect” stage the “ultimate” stage (going by the English subtitles on Crunchyroll)???  That’s confusing for long time fans...  No, I checked, Yamato definitely said Kanzentai, ie “perfect.”  This is about 19:02 on Crunchyroll.  It’s not just me, right?  Crunchyroll is translating “perfect” as “ultimate,” right???  Anyone??  (Plz help).
So, we’re splitting into teams next time!  Not sure what to make of that.  It could be nice to have fewer characters onscreen at a time, but most of the stuff I enjoy the most so far has been the kids and digimon shooting fun lines off one another and interacting...  Well, we’ll see!
I’m enjoying Yamato, at least.  Mimi, I think, had the best “charactization” ep by far, but Yamato is consistently given lines that indicate who he is: pragmatic, person who takes on a lot because he cares, but is a touch standoffish and not great at expressing himself, has a handle on how dangerous things are, isn’t interested in Taichi’s emotional argument (OGREMON SAID SO!), but accepted Koushiro’s data-based one, willing to speak up, even if it causes tension...  Dynamic wise, this show reeeeeeeeeeeeeally needed him, I think.
I hope Taichi quits it with the “I HAVE TO SAVE EVERYONE” and “I WILL SEE THIS THROUGH!”  I was hoping the show would point to this being problematic, as it did when Yamato tried to siege the fortress alone...  But, uh, Taichi was kind of... rewarded for it?  Accepting the help of your friends is friendshippy, but fighting alone is... courageous?  They easily could have given Taichi at least one backup friend, even if he was a distraction (like Jyou and Mimi in the siege ep).  Man, I don’t know.
WHATEVER, LET ME WATCH TEN-CHAN’S LITTLE KOUSHIRO-HAN DANCE AGAIN.

Chapter 1: What is your wish?
Miyako circled the perimeter of her room for the tenth time. The girl was particularly uncomfortable that day and Poromon didn't know what else to do.
“I'm in the dark. Could you tell me exactly what happened?” The Digimon questioned.
“Did you know that my psychologist recommended me to keep a diary with dreams and confessions?” The lavender-haired girl accentuated dramatically.
“I'm aware of that. It's a padlocked notebook. Isn't it?” The pink sphere remembered and Miyako nodded. “Well, what's the matter?”
“The problem is that... I wanted to keep it out of the reach of my brothers, so I kept it in the supply backpack and took it to the Digital World.” Theatrical, the girl grabbed her hair and sank to the floor, propping herself up on her knees.
"Then the diary got lost in the digital world." Poromon concluded and saw his partner fall to her knees dramatically on the carpet.
“UNIVERSE, WHY DO YOU HATE ME? “The female complaint echoed through the apartment.
“There must be something we can do.” Poromon tried to calm yours partner down.
"Certainly. Let's go back to the last place we were and find my diary." She declared and stood up, resolute.
“Koushiro-san said that it is dangerous to open a portal on your personal computer." He tried to bring rationality to the girl.
"I know I know." Disdainful, she waved her hand in the air, trivializing the information. “We are not going to have any problems. I'm going to open the portal, come on, get the diary and go back home. Everything in the blink of an eye!"
“Oh girl, you have no correction!" The Digimon whimpered and surrendered to the girl's whims.
“Bingo!” She raised her thumb, typed in the coordinates and picked up the digital device. “Digi-portal open! Digi-partner here we go!” After the iconic slogan, the two were sucked into the computer.
★。+゚☆゚+。★His heart was relieved, because if something was not eaten, it was very unlikely to attract the attention of a Digimon. As such, your personal information was completely secure... NO!
This couldn't be happening!
Kaiser was sitting on a rock, writhing. His mocking laugh echoed in the environment with each line read.
“Every evil genius needs a little rest and fun, but those are the most ridiculous things I've ever read!" The young tyrant was affected by a coughing crisis.
“HOW DO YOU DARE?” Without thinking in the consequences, the girl fired at the evil genius.
“But ... huh?” With a start, the villain jumped back and dodged the girl, who fell awkwardly. “That's right, silly girl, lean at my feet!” He scoffed.
“You bastard. Trying to dominate the digital world is bad enough, but reading a girl's diary is low, even for you!” Angrily, she stood up and advanced on Kaiser.
“What? Is it my fault if you left your things around?” He lifted the object high while she was on tiptoe, trying to reach it.“I didn't leave it there; it got lost! Besides, it had a really strong lock. Where is it?” She screamed in stress.
── ✦ ── ❖ ───
He remembered when he found that pink glitter object in the middle of the field. In fact, it was padlocked. It was immensely laborious to break that seal.
“I found it open...” The emperor lied without shame. “Isn't that right, Wormmon?” He asked as he continued to avoid the girl's advances.
“Not really...” Wormmon confessed, innocent. “You took an hour trying to open it and threw the lock in the lake!”
“You are a liar, dirty!!!” Shouted Miyako.
“Stupid bug!!!" Kaiser offended the little caterpillar. "That's why I punish you!"
“Return my belonging!" The girl was outraged.
“Finders keepers, losers weepers! And... You don't give me orders!” Kaiser dodged wandering around with the object lifted.
In an attempt to help, Hawkmon threw a feather at Kaiser and attached his cloak to the trunk of an old tree.
“Return her diary!“ Miyako's partner was incisive.
"Don't mess with Ke... M-my master!“ Wormmon trapped Hawkmon with a sticky web.
The two Digimon unleashed a silly fight, while Miyako and Kaiser faced each other.
“What are you going to do now?” The evil one provoked.
Inoue had to think fast. She couldn't fight him. She could not leave her secrets in the hands of the enemy. She reached into her backpack hoping to have something she could use, but she only had a bottle of perfume, which was sprayed on the tyrant's face.
The emperor coughed, sneezed and was very angry. The heavy drops clouded the dark lenses. While he was distracted to get ready and compose himself, Miyako invested everything to recover his diary.
The two tangled and fell into a hole that mysteriously opened in the trunk of the old tree.
Hawkmon and Wormmon stopped fighting and ran to help, but it was too late... Only a piece of Kaiser's torn cloak remained, stuck in the feather that hawk threw.
“Hey, are they gone?“ Wormmon asked.
“The tree absorbed them... How crazy was that?“ Hawkmon put the feather back and kicked the tree to find out. “I'm going to have to ask Digidestined for help.”
“And I will stay here if they return...“ The emperor's ally announced.
∴ ═*× ∴ ❈ ∴× *═ ∴
The impact of the fall on the floor was completely absorbed by Kaiser's ass and, to make matters worse, Inoue fell with the helmet against the boy's mouth.
“Get off me, unbearable girl!“ He kicked hard.
“THERE… thick!” Inoue shouted indignantly. “There, my dear diary. I promise never to lose you again.” She pressed the object to her chest.
“Mimimimi... I didn't want that crap either.” Kaiser disdained, not accepting that he lost.
“Why, you didn't want to, but you were wasting your precious time flipping through the pages." Miyako accused without delay.
“Because I laughed a lot at your expense, wind-headed girl, useless!” He spoke, massaging his mouth.
“Better windhead than psychopath! Look, you broke my helmet." Complained showing the broken helmet.
“And you almost broke a tooth for me.” He took her helmet and threw it away. “Horrible crap in bad taste!”
She was going to start fighting when she realized they were in a cold, dark place, totally horrible.
“What is this place? How did we get here?” Miyako questioned, lost.
“You must have made a dimensional break with that high-pitched voice!” He tried to contact the slaves at his base, but nothing worked. "We're out of communication. Shit, this is exactly what I needed!"
“See, this is a punishment for stealing other people's things.” The girl sang mockingly.
“And why were you punished with me?” Superb, Kaiser launched the rhetoric.
“Ah?” She stopped, thoughtful. “Maybe because I was really careless”. He whined dramatically .
“Look at you! You're still mommy's little girl.” He laughed as he looked for ways to get out, wherever that place was.
“Don't say nonsense, as we must be the same age. And... Looking closely." He approached measuring the height. “I am taller than you.”
“But your intellect is much lower. That is without a doubt.”And a heated argument started when the two wandered through the inhospitable place. When the entire repertoire of offenses was spent, the two fell silent at the same time. Which was perfect, because nobody wanted to be the loser of that fight.
His legs could no longer walk and hunger was already present. Both remained steadfast, they could not show weakness in the face of the enemy. Suddenly, a strange growl was heard.
“What was this?” Inoue questioned in alarm.
“How am I supposed to know? It must be some Digimon.” Kaiser knew the growl had left his stomach, but he would never admit it.
And Miyako grabbed the edge of the enemy's mantle that faced her. She couldn't see due to his glasses, but she felt petrifying disapproval.
“It's just... I was scared.” Miyako justified himself by leaving.
☆●☆●☆●☆●
Three hundred hours seemed to have passed and they were both destroyed and hungry. Inoue stopped and sat on an old log. Kaiser found his loophole to rest without showing weakness and installed himself on the opposite trunk.
“It's all your fault.” Kaiser accused Inoue.
“My fault? You violated my diary.”
“You lost in my territory. It was almost an invitation to read.” He defended himself. ”In the end, I just read childish nonsense!”
She thought about answering. Arguing with the enemy would be a good way to distract yourself from being away from home and without the company and protection of Hawkmon, but she was really terrified and opened her mouth in a childish cry that he didn't expect and didn't knows how to cope.
“OK? Kidding? Look at your size!” He provoked, but got no response.
The girl just cried.
“I'm cold, tired, hungry, afraid and accompanied by a delinquent!” Finally she vented.
“Hi?” He was surprised, taking offense. “Am I the bad company here? It's not me with my mouth open like a baby. Maybe you better be alone.”
“N-n-no... In a place like this?” She sobbed, stopping crying. “You wouldn't do that!”
“You would be relieved, since my presence is hateful” The boy scoffed.
“No. I'm sorry...” She murmured grudgingly and he sat down again.
He could go and leave her, but as unbearable as Inoue seemed to him, being alone there seemed worse.
Desperately, Miyako rummaged through his backpack and smiled when he found a chocolate bar. She removed the packaging and broke it in half, offering it to the enemy.
Kaiser blinked, doubtful and proud. He made a great effort to refuse, but at that moment survival was already speaking louder and he reached out, accepting anyway.
They ate in silence. And at that moment a glow started to emanate from a foreign object on the floor. Both had the same thought. “Digimental” They got up running.
“It belongs to whoever gets it first!” The boy scoffed.
“Keep your paw away from him. You are not worthy!” Exclaimed the girl.
They reached the object at the same time and started pulling against each other.
“Drop it, ambitious tyrant!”
“I wasn't like that when you needed my presence. Parasite!“
And this one pulled there and pulled here, exchanging offenses and accusations, the insured object exploded in a strong blue light. They moved away shading their eyes.
“WHO HAD THE DARE TO AWAKEN FROM MY SLEEP?“ A deep, frightening voice asked.
They opened their eyes, hesitant. It was only then that they realized that they ended up hugging each other in fright. They broke free and Kaiser fanned his clothes with disdain.
They aimed at the creature.
It was a gigantic being, endowed with a humanoid breastplate, whose lower body merged into bluish smoke, which was its coloring.
"We didn’t want to wake you up." Inoue murmured worriedly.
“I was just making fun of you. I wasn't even sleeping, in fact, I was really bored. So, you know how it works, three wishes!" He straightened up in the air, with his arms crossed behind the back of his neck. "1 - I cannot bring anyone from the dead! 2 - not make anyone fall in love! 3 - I cannot undo a wish! 4 - There’s no point in wishing for more wishes! "
"Hi? Who or what are you? And what are you talking about?" Kaiser asked confused.
"I am Geniemon, a Digimon with the ability to grant wishes and the two rubbed my lamp together, so there are three wishes."
The narrator's voice appeared providing all the information, such as level, family and attack strength. Nothing useful for our plot.
“Three wishes ... But there are two of us.“ Observed Inoue.
"The problem is not mine..." Replied Digimon genius.
“This madman will want to take over the world." The girl accused, but Kaiser seemed petrified to process the surreal occurrences. "I thought it was a lot of emotion for him. In that case, I will make my wish. Let me see... World peace, cure for all diseases in the world... Eradication of poverty... ”
"Wow! What a benevolent person!" Geniemon thought with admiration!
"I already chose! I want a perfect romantic date with the prodigious genius Ichijouji Ken!"
Inoue emphasized with joy and the Digimon fell to the ground, with a "droplets" on his head and, removing the previous thought.
"EXCUSE?" Kaiser cried out when he saw that the girl had wasted a precious desire. "HOW IS IT? WHAT IS IT? ROMANTIC DATE?" He was even more shocked when he understood her request. "NO CHANCES! I CHOOSE TO DRINK ACID!"
But it was too late for protests and both were enveloped in a strong blue light. The clothes have been modified to match the date; Miyako won a beautiful Lolita dress, a hairstyle with curls and rich adornments. She felt clean and fragrant as if she had just come out of a bath. Kaiser was no different...
Wait! No, I didn't mean that he won a dress!
Kaiser had his usual costume transformed into a beautiful suit, but his hair and glasses remained the same. It was also clean and very fragrant.
The two were seated at a round table with a beautiful flower arrangement and a luxurious chandelier in the center. The place was sumptuous, it looked like a ballroom in a medieval castle, decorated with beautiful stained glass, marble and stone statues, paintings and noble tapestries.
Miyako blinked, delighted with everything... Almost everything. Where was your beloved Ichijouji Ken? And why was Kaiser still there? She snarled.
“Why are you involved in my desire?" She pointed to the villain, who swallowed spittle fearing for his secret identity. "HEY GENIEMON!"She called furiously.
This Digimon genius was incompetent, how was Kaiser in his prince's shoes? She was going to tell you some good truths.
“I am also not happy to be here!“ Kaiser snapped, embarrassed by the girl's current appearance. It never occurred to her that she could be so beautiful without the usual digital warrior configuration.
“Shut up, usurper!”
The girl ordered, accusingly.
They were both about to start an argument when...
A delicious aroma invaded the room and the stomachs roared loudly. A proud Digitamamon came in wearing a cuca master's hat and an apron.

Kizuna
So I read Kizuna’s novel last night and boy, do I have thoughts? Of course I’m aware no one cares for them but, I need to write things down.
Spoilers about the novel.
In a general aspect, I really liked the novel. It’s well structured and the passing is good. It felt a little overwhelmed at times but mostly on the battles (and that’s on me since I have a really hard time focusing on those things lol).
I loved the focused characters arc, I think it was perfect for them even if I have questions about it that I hope will be answered at some time? Don’t worry, TOEI, I’m gonna be waiting forever. The new characters were also right, not outstanding but they didn’t feel unnecessary either, just.. right for the movie/novel.
I REALLY loved, loved, loved Yamato so much in the story, he’s the absolutely highlight of it. He says what he’s thinking, he’s proactive, he’s an absolutely cutie! That scene with him talking with the 02 kids have my heart forever, I just enjoyed him in all the novel! He has changed so much but stills shows part of his old self here and there.
Taichi was also good! I mean, he was himself and that was great. He stopped overthinking and jumped to the action as he should. His scenes with Agumon were so funny lmao (you know what I’m talking about) and what it took my attention is that we witnessed the first time Agumon went to his apartment. That was… interesting, and made me think that he was already moving on without even noticing it. Hikari tells him that he should visit his mom from time to time and it seems that he isn’t close with some of his old friends (he wasn’t aware of why Sora’s so busy).
Also, was me the only one who thought that his classmates friends were like the Sorato College version? The fashionable Morikawa and Nemoto that acted as the older sister of their group. I know Yamato is not fashionable (although I like his style oop) but you get my point lol. I don’t know, they sounded like a briefly descriptions of their old friends.
While reading their struggles, I couldn’t stop thinking of how much pressure they have even at a very young age, but that’s how society fucks you amirite? They’re only 22 and they’re supposed to be already setting their future, looking for jobs (in Japan you already have to be setup in a workplace before graduating).
Which absolutely contrast with Sora that’s already aware of what she wants and doesn’t want.
And speaking of Sora…  I loved her mini arc (I’m gonna call it mini because it was there but it was resolved in one single scene). She as Taichi and Yamato, was struggling but not with her future, but with her past. She already moved from her childhood and teenagers years, she already knows what she wants to do and how she wants to do it, and I think that the “she wants to live as Sora Takenouchi” also tells me that she knows who she is. Her arc was the opposite of Taichi and Yamato’s and I loved it.
But as much as I loved it and as much as it felt right for her, I couldn’t help but think that it could be more. There were scenes when I thought “she could fit here, or here, or here” which I know was ridiculous of me since I knew this wasn’t her movie and probably I would never have a movie focused on her. And that’s why, I hate that they decided to wrap her arc behind the scenes.
Did she know that Piyomon would disappear? Was she alone when that happened? What was she feeling in that moment? It breaks my heart to think all of this. I really wished that the scene with Gennai would be between all the 12 chosen children, but apparently is only important for Taichi to be aware of that.
I’m gonna stop it here lol. I’m not salty or anything like that, I still loved the novel and enjoyed everything from it! The reason why I focused mostly on those three is because they’re the only ones whose role didn’t fit in an established one.
We had Koushiro (who was great btw) being, Koushiro. He filled his role perfectly, there was nothing more for him that we already expected. Same with Jou, Mimi, Hikari and even Takeru. They were there, being themselves and were perfect.
The 02 kids were another ones filling their roles but they were amazing and the second highlight of the novel, specially Miyako! She was a delight and I’m so proud, that her first scene is she saying hola (sobs) and passing on the issue to Taich and the rest, best girl! Daisuke, Ken and Iori were lovely as well, love their friendship and love that Takeru was the one who knew where they were and Yamato was such a dad with them (sobs more). Have I said that I loved him in the novel? Because I did.
I can’t really wait to see the final battle, it was good reading it but it will be better animated so I’m excited for that. Meona by the end made me feel bad but that’s great, right? Quoting @takerusfedora “I love when the villains believe they’re in the right” and Meona was that.
The final scene with Taichi/Agumon and Yamato/Gabumon made me weep out a little not gonna lie and I think that we all agree that there has to be a continuation, right? I mean, there has to, they need their Digimons back and I don’t think they’re gonna waste this opportunity to make money.
How much time is gonna take them, who knows? But it’s gonna happen eventually.
This was longer than I thought lmao and I’m sure I have more thoughts but I can’t think on anything right now.

(    *    & .    —   lost meme // STOP PRETENDING TO BE OK | from @cxuragecrested to kou because feels.
He leaned closer to the screen when the sudden outburst from Taichi made him fall back into his chair. Eyes glazed over as his chest went tight-- hands slammed down on his desk glaring at his friend. He could feel his whole body shaking, he wasn’t sure if it was from rage or the fact he felt the sudden need to cry— maybe it was both?  Just those words bothered him so much, they bothered him as he felt how it was rich coming from Taichi. Someone who literally lived by ‘acting like he was okay’ when really he was far from it, Koushiro wasn’t blind— even before all this Taichi seemed to be losing himself, maybe that was just Koushiro over analyzing.
Tumblr media
The redhead moves himself away from his desk, going closer to the taller man. He wanted to yell, he wanted to tell Taichi how dare he say that to him when he’s doing the same damn thing right in front of him. He hated this — he hated how it went so far from being able to share everything with him to both of them dancing around each other. Them both being careful not to step on eggshells— he just hated it all. How fast they seemed to be growing up, it really did more than ever feel like everyone was slipping away.
Koushiro grips at Taichi’s shirt looking up at him, his mind fogged up. Everything was spinning, this felt like the worst time for him to be having a damn anxiety attack, but when did his body ever play fair with him. “I need to stop? Me? I should be the one saying that to you!!” The grip becomes tighter and his eyes started to tear up and his head just falls into Taichi’s chest, a choked sob slips out.
“I hate this...I just want to help you, I don’t like seeing you like this, I want to do something..anything..”

“Why?” the old man ask as soon as the knife penetrate his skin, the surprise take all the strench that remains on his body, he didn't fight, he didn't scream, he just repeat “Why?”
But Henry didn't answered  to his corpse, he left the room of his former allie as quiet as he entered, he has a fair mision, not good or noble, but fair.
Kill the spies, prove his loyalty, serve the King
The death of the counselor was  scandalous; a member of the court stabbed on his own bedroom;  all the castle shake with fear, everybody talked about the  silver knife nail over the body and the beautiful symbol engraved on the handle: a  flower with diamonds as petals, the symbol of the light
The king was there when Henry inspected the room, he, the trusty adviser, the wiser; the one in charge of investigate his own crime, Takato really was that naive, kill him would be so easy.
To be fair, Henry had not be his first choice, Takato instanly search for Ruki, but she denied it, is the work of a coward  she said pretending to know nothing, what an amazing liar.
Gallant lick the blood of the carpet before it could be clean it and  the Lion buried the body and burn all of the gathering.
In all the palace no one cried the dead of counselor as the Queen, such a crime was no common on Piramide, they were used to fights at coliseum, the honor to die with your opponent in front of you; but for Takato, raised on the old temple, a childhood on the cult, killing on the dark was expected; he fails at comforting his wife.
The lion carried her around the castle, throwing suspicious and curses to anyone who come closer, doing the job he had done all his life: be the champion of the Queen.
“Is the work of your enemies your majesty” Henry Wong asure kneeling in front of the King and Queen
“How?” Takato tried to look compose and fails “How did they surpass our defenses?”
“and why him? “ Yuri  as usually asked the questions that Takato would never ask “Why send an  from a old man when the Queen and KIng live in the same castle?”
“I don't know” he standed up and spoke calm and slowly   “But i promise i will found out”
“Tenemos que prepararnos” the queen continues “we must reinforce the castle, bend the guard…” Lion was beside her, nodding with his head after every order
“Momantai”
“Excuse me?”
“Momantai” he repeat “Is mean no te preocupes” he turns to Takato “Not to worry”
“How i cannot be worried if a man is killed in my own castle” Yuri yells, send wàs so little,he could take her down with no effort; The Lion standed up.
“Because that man was a target” still serene he continues “ just think about it, someone entered the castle and only attack an old council, not you or the King, my guess is that is personal, not only that, my thought is that no one really break into the castle, it was an inside job”
He felt Ruki eyes over him, the entire court gasped, the queen sobed
“the guards saw nothing, the lock was not forced, there was no sign of a fight, the murderer was someone the council knew, someone he trusted, the murderer is a member of this castle, probably a spy from the light”
The gasp became a scream, and the sob became tears
“And you tell me not to worried about it?”
“Gallant is with you all the time,  the Lion protect the Queen, and now that we are aware of this spy he or she would not be able to act without been caught”  he bow “Momantai” and excuse himself out of the audience.
“Are you out of your mind?”  Ruki follow him  “what is wrong with you?”
“the best lies are the ones who begins with the true”
“Don't mess with me Wong!” she come closer “just tell me who the others spies are and i would handle it! this is way out of you control!”
“Wong!” another figure run to them
“Hide”
“I don't take orders from you!”
“Just do it!” and very much to her regret she obeyed
“Wong!” a man approached to him, he was sweating despite the cold weather “Wong! we need to talk, the counselor! what you said¡” the man searched for a safe place to speak “ are we in danger?”
Ruki recognized him as one of the guard
“listen” a little tremble on his voice, subtle and fake “my hope is that whoever is behind this crime would panic after my declaration, I only act by the command of the alchemist”
“Did you speak with him?” both men whispered but Ruki was able to listen  “What did he said?”
“What I need to know, I told you, I merely  follow his instructions” one hand over his shoulder “I trust in his guide, if my purpose is to die for the light, then it will be”
The man become a young boy at his words
“Yes, yes of course” he mumble “I, i think the same, i just… im use to the life in this city”
“Are you coming outside of the light my friend?”
“No! of course not, im sorry for bothering you is just.. i have doubs”
“Doubs about the true of the light or about our lider?
the fear on his face was enough  answer
Ruki come out of her hide at the same time he running away
“Nervous men make stupid mistakes”
“Dont lecture me” she was not convince “this is gonna explode in your face, let me help you”
“You are helping” he sigh “The king would recognize your murder technique in an instant, I´ll do it, one by one until the last one snap”
“or you…”
“I´m calm” he breath, exasperate “I´m in control” even when he was thinking in a millions ways of break her neck
Ruki look at him with her big menacing eyes “Koushiro train you well”
“I never told you he was my teacher”
“You didn't have to” but she pause, as  if she was afraid “don't forget why are we doing this, our goal” and she look back at the throne room, the King smile as he talk and welcome the audiences, the light shine over Takato crown making him look almost divine “Only a child of the sun must reight over the living land”
“For the glory of the house of courage”
“For the glory of the house of courage!” she repeat, hoping that he knew what he was doing, hoping that trust in him would not be as disastrous as it was trusting his teacher.
That night the archers of the wall shoot the guard who tried to escape at the middle of the night.
Two days later one of the maids  throw herself from one window
One of the gardeners was found floating on the south fountain one week later
His work was almost done, one last victim and it would be over.
He called him to met on the garden at dawn, at diference of the others this time they will fight, Henry will won, then he will drag his corpse to the King chamber claiming that he was the perpetrator, ending all doubs over his persona and bringing peace at the castle.
The last spy  appear at dawn, as planning,  sweating and at the edge of tears, the oldest sidesman of the castle. Henry feel the rush on his blood, still he remains calm.
“My friend” he said with a smile, barely controlling his excitement “i´m so happy that  you come to me in this our darkest moment”
“I´m sorry” he barely whisper,  something was wrong
Another figure emerged between the leaves, tall as a three, strong and proud, The lion looked at him as you can only see the traitors
“se terminó Wong” he roar
“Dear light” he turn to the old man “What had you done?”
“The right thing my friend” his grind was peacefully but twisted “ the right thing”
“You…” Henry rush   “You old snitch”
“hard words on the mouth of a spy” the Lion was still there, with his old chain and ball “I didn't want to believe it”
“but is true” the sideman step back as he talked “ Wong is the one who communicate with the great alchemist, he had been an informant for him since before the King even married our queen”
“As same as you!”
“but he come to me with the true, he regret his past  and swear the rest of his life in favor of Piramide”
“I´m in favor of Piramide!” Henry need to thing faser, “I´m purging all the light of this city”
“All except you”
“That was not...!”
“Liar!” the heavy chain hit the floor, Henry need to act, The lion would not fail a second time.
He need a strategy, a way out, he need to focus, to think, he would not follow into dispair; the firmest tree is the only one that can stand the storm
“I´m not following the orders of the alquemist…” he said trying to stay calm
“You called this man to murder him, just as you had murder so many others, you attack them from the back and  set them up as accidents, rejecting the honorable pat of a true warrior, do you denied those crimes?”
“No, but listen…” if only he could explain
“You lied about your loyalties, you share the secrets of the crown with their enemies”
“I´m loyal to the king!” his plea sound empty “My only concern is the safety of the King!”
The lion speak since his hearth “And i only live to protect my Queen”
The queen, the fragile girl who cried with every dead, and those tears where his sentence, the Lion would kill him for bringing pain to  the monarch
Even then, he keep breathing, he search for an exit, a distraction, an opportunity
But then he hear the laugh of the sideman, his bitter utterly obnoxious laugh, suddenly it's fill all his thoughts, all his mind, the mocking of a buffon; he didn't care for the King, or the Kingdom or the magic or the Courage, he was a man manipulating the true to his benefit; Henry get mad at seen at him, not for the imminent death but for how much he could see himself in that elder.
The calm before the storm was over. . .
“Wong! Henry stop!” The hand of Ruki hold his wrist, he drop the chain and the ball fall to a pool  of blood,  his eyesight was blurry, his coat was dyed red, to his right the inert body of the old man lay on the ground “What are you doing?”
What was he doing?
Breath… breath…  he remains  himself and stand up, the ground feel warm, under him layed another body, in horror he saw the lion heads crush on the floor, more than fourteen stabs on his back, with total security injuries perpetrated by his hand
“It's dawning, come on Wong, we have to clean up this disaster”
“Its to late” he remain inmobil, perplexe by the unspoken crimes, soon screams shocked the wind around him, the life in the palace begins early.
A monster roar, the King was near and he was covered in rot and violence, he did not stand the storm, he was the storm.
“Run!” Ruki commanded at the same time that she throw over him a dark water.  And what else he could do.
Henry jumped and ran the faster, the monsters of the King would smell the blood and start follow him at any second. But they didn’t, Henry saw the dark shadow of Ruki colecting every drop of blood that fall from his body. The warrior didn´t stop until the water of the sea had cover him to head to toe. When the shadow of Ruki let him he stayed under the ocean, hopping for the salt water to clean his concience and clean his doubs. He noticed that he still had the heavy weapon of León on his hand, it was drowing him at the deptest of the blue. Henry colected his stregnth  and get out of the water.
The King watch horrified. The corpses of Leon and the old coin advisor were on the floor. There was blood and human parts all over the place.
“It must had been an ugly battle” Ruki said
“What?” Takato asked incredulous “Why León would fight an old man?”
“He was obviusly hidden his force, but they kill each other, that is clear” Ruki spoke with force and saw how Takato believed her “we found our killer”
“What?” the child repeated
“One of them was the killer and the other his last victim”
A heartrending scream cut the conversation.
Takato turned over himself and hold his trembling wife.
“León!” The Queen cry and scream as she fallen over the corpse of his protector.
The King hold her. The three sauros get together and howl. Ruki commanded the guard and get shure to clean everything.
The murders stopped and for three months the castle cover its standar of black. The Queen stopped to cry a week after the body was buried, but she wasn’t talking anymore. The King hold her hand and talk to her, but her eyes failed to look at him.
The Queen versed over herself and The King versed over her pale Queen.
The throne of Piramide was weak.

The Cactus Recs Fanfics, June ‘18
Will this be a reocurring feature? Darned if I know. But heeey, here’s a post about the fanfic I’ve been reading recently (and… not so recently?). This is a good reference for me too because I still need to finish/drop reviews on some of these :o
@florencetheflowerfairy has written a ton of stories that are either clever, delightful, heartwrenching, or some combination of all the above. “Sunflowers Along the Road” is an excellent series of vignettes about the Eternal Favorite and the Also-Eternal Favorite (that’s Taichi and Koushiro for those who are keeping track at home). She also did some great stuff for Digimon Femslash Week and if I HAD to pick my favorite… well, actually I don’t think I can pick a favorite. They’re all great for their own reasons, so here are links to them all!
“A Girl Like That” (WHAM! POW! Right in the feels) “All the World’s a Stage” (so adorable!!) “Jinkies!” (LOLLLLL) “Battle for Meiko’s Heart!!!” (HOW DID SHE KNOW THIS WAS EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED IN A FANFIC????) “Almost” (BAM THERE GO THOSE FEELS AGAIN BRB SOBBING)
Ive also been making my way through some of @aiko-isari’s multi-chapter digimon fics! She is exploring some really cool concepts for characters that don’t always get a lot of love, like a Frontier AU starring Tomoki’s brother Yutaka (“a comet’s tail’), a character study on Himekawa (“your mouth to god’s ears”), and a Meiko/Hikari roleswap/what-if set during the Myotismon arc (“a queen’s plague”). She excels at writing scenes with an “in the moment” urgency that I find quite captivating.
Speaking of Frontier, SilvorMoon’s “The Spirits Within” is one of my all-time favorite Frontier fics. I remember reading it in grad school when I was, er… probably supposed to be doing something else ^^; But if there ever was going to be a Frontier sequel (hah!) I would still want it to be an adaptation of this fic. It is, sadly, unfinished-- but hey, fanfic is just as much about the journey as the destination!
Higuchimon has been on my Digi-author radar for a LONG time, so I was really happy to see she had written a fic for Appmon! “Captured and Confused” is a multi-POV story filling in some of the details about Yuujin’s capture during the Ultimate 4 arc, exploring some interesting angles while remaining true to canon. She also has a pre-Tri fic about TK and his hat from 02, which you KNOW gets my seal of approval!
More Appmon fics! Note these are pretty much all SPOILERS for the end of Appmon, so act accordingly: “blurred eyes” by reminiscence (Yuujin POV), “The Dying of the Light” by Walpurgisyiff (Haru talks to Yuujin’s mother, post-series but pre-epilogue. GUYS I LOVE FICS AND META ABOUT YUUJIN’S MOTHER YOU HAVE NO IDEA), and “Realization” by WalkTheTyrannosaur (an adorable-sounding setup for an Appmon sequel!)
And finally er… we’re all adults right? Put the kids to bed and lean in real close.
I haven’t been reading much M-rated stuff lately. But Kirishtu’s “My Light, Your Light” is a very nice five-years-later Haru x Yuujin fic, if you’re into that sort of thing!
So, that’s what I’ve been reading! Now tell me, what have YOU been reading? Let’s spread some fanfic love!

1, digimon
[Send me a number prompt and a fandom and I’ll write a drabble]
1# - “It wasn’t your fault”
under the cut, 1,700 words.
Taichi is sitting in the waiting room again. Because his little sister is in the emergency room, again. Because he messed up.
Again.
Koushiro had said that it was a rather large energy signal. That it could be dangerous to send only the younger kids. And Taichi hadn’t listened to a single word that he had to say. Again.
And now Daisuke and Hikari were in the emergency room.
Koushiro has been saying that they’re lucky it was only them. Taichi sees Iori, tiny little Iori, who looks like he had a deathmatch with a lawnmower and lost. Ken, out for the count after screaming himself hoarse and falling into unconsciousness. Takeru being checked for a concussion. He wonders how the hell he’s supposed to think of this result as lucky.
At least nobody’s dead, they all say. At least nobody died. Because someone definitely could’ve. They all could’ve. They even came pretty close.
And all because Taichi messed up.
He tries to focus on the ones who he knows aren’t going to die, tries to soothe Miyako’s sobbing and stop her from picking at the bandages covering up her face.
Taichi tells Miyako not to cry, but it’s a bit meaningless since she can probably hear that he’s crying himself, even if she can’t see it. He says it’s going to be fine and Hikari is going to be fine and the two of them can go out and buy Miyako her new pair of glasses, it’s going to be ok, Taichi will even help pay for them, ok?
He doesn’t even manage to convince himself.
Iori is probably the most stable out of anyone, despite being the most banged up of the lot. He doesn’t shed a tear. But his eyes remain glued to the doors that Daisuke disappeared through.
Minutes seem to crawl by. Taichi sits for what seems like an eternity, in a room with only himself and the children he’s failed.
Hours pass, along with dinnertime, but Taichi doesn’t bother telling anyone to go eat. He doesn’t think he’d be able to avoid throwing up himself, anyways.
Ken finally wakes up and immediately starts asking for Daisuke. Taichi can’t get any words out of his throat, and Takeru ends up being the one who has to explain that Daisuke is still in the operating room. That they don’t know if he’s going to be ok. Ken goes hysterical again, and Taichi is by far the most useless in calming him down.
Eventually, Jou comes down with dinner from the cafeteria. Taichi feels bad accepting it. He should’ve done that. He offers to pay Jou back, but the older boy refuses outright. He reminds everyone to make sure they get plenty of rest.
Taichi doesn’t think he’ll ever be able to sleep again.
It’s another painstaking hour, before a doctor finally comes out and says that it’s ok for Taichi to see Hikari now. She’s stable. Miyako starts crying from joy.
He feels a bit bad about leaving the younger kids, but it’s not like he was helping anyways. So he just gives them a weak wave and follows the doctor down to the burn ward.
He makes it two steps through the door to her room before he has to start biting back the urge to cry. The bandages don’t make him feel any less like throwing up. He can’t see much of her under them, and so the doctor starts explaining and pointing out where the burn reaches. It goes from all the way down her right arm and up onto her face. Apparently, the greatest damage is around her shoulder and neck. The doctor says they’re still assessing the damage done to the breast tissue. Some part of Taichi’s overloaded brain decides to start worrying about potential bullying and the like. That’s somehow slightly less worrying than everything else, so Taichi comforts himself in imagining how he’ll beat up anyone who dares to call his sister ugly.
Somewhere in the back of his mind, he wonders if his parents are going to beat him up for letting this happen to his sister once they get home. He’d deserve it, at least.
Eventually, he manages to tear his eyes away from the broken little girl who deserves a better brother and a better leader, and he heads back to the waiting room. The second the younger children become aware of his return, the questions start flying. In spite of his earlier resilience, Iori is now sobbing just as much as anyone.
The removal of weight from everyone’s shoulders is more than visible as they hear that Hikari is going to be ok.
Apparently, at some point, it was announced that Daisuke would likely make it through the night, and the doctors told the kids to go home and get some rest. In an attempt to actually get some rest, they’d started arranging for everyone to spend the night at Takeru’s. He offers Taichi a spot on the floor, but Taichi doesn’t think an extra presence would do him any good anyways.
So Taichi goes home by himself and doesn’t sleep. Somehow, he manages to eat something before going down to the hospital once again.
The younger kids are already there. The doctors have already refused them from seeing Daisuke, since they need a family member’s explicit permission. But with Taichi’s arrival, they’re allowed to go see Hikari in pairs. Nobody objects to letting Miyako go first.
She doesn’t manage to keep herself from crying as she and Takeru are lead into Hikari’s room. Maybe that’s a good thing, because Hikari actually starts to stir. Everyone is directly at her bedside within an instant of her opening her eyes. Something in Taichi finally unclenches, then. She’s ok. She’s ok…He can barely hold himself back from hugging her.
“…huh?” Hikari mutters blearily. “What happened…hngh…Alphamon?”
“It’s fine. It’s fine now, Hikari. We’re safe.” Miyako sobs as she clenches onto her hand far tighter than she should.
“…Is Daisuke ok? Where’s Iori and Ken?” She asks, as she starts inspecting the bandages mummying her. Of course, she wouldn’t bother to think about herself for a second.
“We could only come in two at a time since we’re not family…” Takeru explains softly. Taichi eventually can’t take watching her anymore and grabs her hand.
“Don’t fiddle with your bandages.” He says.
“…Sorry. Do…mom and dad know I’m hurt, yet?” She asks.
“…Yeah, they’re on their way home right now.” He tells her. He can’t tell what she thinks of the answer. He doesn’t get the chance to ask, as they’re all whisked out of the room by doctors wanting to bombard her with questions and the like.
When they return to the waiting room, it’s only Iori there. He looks weirdly happy about something.
“Daisuke’s family showed up a few minutes ago. They only want one at a time, so Ken went in by himself, but apparently he’s awake and ok.” He explains with a smile. An almost unified sigh of relief comes out of everyone.
With a few less things to be miserable about, the waiting around feels less stretched out than before. That, and it doesn’t take hours. As a matter of fact, after just a few minutes, Jun and Ken come out into the room again. Ken’s eyes look puffy, but any past tears have been replaced by a small smile.
For some reason, everyone agrees that Taichi should be the next person to go talk to Daisuke. He’s not really sure how to object.
So within a matter of minutes he finds himself facing his little successor, goggles and spine both broken. He still manages to give Taichi a smile somehow.
“Hey Taichi! Oh my god, can you believe they’re putting me in a wheelchair!?” He groans. It’s weird, seeing him so…unanimated. Taichi never noticed until this very moment how much Daisuke used his body to speak.
“Of course I can! Daisuke, you jumped in front of a giant sword. It’s lucky you’re even alive right now!” He exclaims, unwilling and unable to reciprocate Daisuke’s floaty, unphased demeanor.
“…Yeah. I know.” Daisuke responds with a weak chuckle.
“Are you…doing ok?” Taichi asks hesitantly.
“As ok as a guy who took a sword to the chest could possibly be!” Daisuke laughs.
Taichi doesn’t know what to say to that, and there’s a few short seconds of silence before he decides to say something more important.
“I’m sorry I was a bad leader.” Both boys say at the exact same time. Taichi jerks back in shock and stares at the younger boy, seeing a mirrored reaction on Daisuke’s face.
“Daisuke…what are you talking about?” Taichi says in shock.
“…I-I’m sorry. This is all my fault. I’m a terrible leader. I don’t deserve your-” Daisuke starts.
“What on earth are you talking about!? It wasn’t your fault!” Taichi yells. Daisuke looks incredibly shocked as the older boy walks over and gives him the lightest hug he can. “None of this is your fault. Don’t be ridiculous.”
Daisuke opens his mouth to object, but Taichi just shushes him. “No, stop that. You’d wanted to listen to Koushiro, I’m the one who insisted it was fine. You thought the right thing. This isn’t your fault. Don’t think for a second that it is.”
Daisuke doesn’t look all that convinced, but nods anyways. That’s a good enough start, he supposes.
“…Is Hikari ok? I saw her get hit before I passed out.” Daisuke mutters after a few minutes.
“Yeah. She’s fine. She was worried about you when she woke up, y’know.” Taichi tells him, hoping to lighten the boy’s mood a bit. There’s no reason to tell him that he was the first person she asked about, though. He doesn’t need that kind of ego boost. Daisuke chuckles, but otherwise doesn’t say anything about it.
After a few minutes of chatter, he eventually asks to see Iori. Taichi is more than happy to oblige. Iori looks incredibly happy as he runs off to Daisuke’s room a few minutes later.
The rest of the day is spent hanging around Hikari’s room, as well as occasionally popping in on Daisuke. The younger kids do mostly the same, all looking significantly more calm and relaxed without the threat of death looming.
Nobody is dead. They’re all scarred and broken, but maybe that’s just the best thing he could hope for with how badly he fucked up. So he supposes he can think of this result as lucky.
Though he hopes to god it’ll never happen again.

More Saikai Adventures
Saikai shenanigans below the cut!
1
Koushiro:  Sorry, Taichi-san, I can’t come to your soccer game because of my parents’ anniversary dinner.
Taichi to Sora:  My game is at 2 PM.
Tumblr media
Sora *calls Koushiro around 1-2PM*:  Koushiro-kun, I need help!
Koushiro:  *answers from the restaurant*
...Wait, what.
(At first I thought Sora’s clock was malfunctioning due to the distortions, but then the scene changed to Taichi and his team warming up for their game...  So nope, it’s about 1-2 PM!  KOUSHIRO, WHAT.  HOW.  HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WRITE THIS FIC, WHYYYY IS YOUR FANCY DINNER AT 2 PM?!?!?!-)
I should probably specify that Izzy said “dinner” in English.  Koushiro just said, “It’s my parents’ anniversary.”  So, um...  Maybe they had...  Anniversary... lunch?
2
Then, Taichi and Greymon are fighting Kuwagamon near Fuji Station.  One minute, it’s roughly 2 PM.  Then, Greymon pulls Kuwagamon into a distortion...  And...  SUDDENLY IT’S FULL ASS NIGHT?!  Like!?!?!  Did Taichi stand around shouting for Greymon in Odaiba for about five hours while Greymon fought Kuwagamon?!  Did the distortion somehow make everything dark?!
AND THEN WE SEE GREYMON FIGHTING KUWAGAMON ON THE TV IN DAIGO’S CAR.  Then Taichi rolls in just in time to see Greymon fall, about to take a final blow...
AND THEN WE PAN TO THESE JERKS, JUST STANDING AROUND WATCHING GREYMON GET PUMMELED?!
Tumblr media
In their defense, they do say they “just got here”...  But um, you should probably be evolving and helping instead of posing nicely for Taichi?
*sobbing* WHAT IS HAPPENING, WHAT IS GOING ON WITH TIME AND THE TIME SKIPS AND THE SUDDEN ONSET NIGHT, HELP-
I’m just going to have to write a general disclaimer on my Tri fic that I really don’t know what the heck is happening in Tri, and I am just out here, trying my best.
