Here comes another platonic AU I was interested in Percy's future children and how they would deal with the bi-racial culture that combining Percy's marriage with any yandere would bring upon the children

Percy is loved for being herself and that means she can indulge in her human culture without any problems because the gods find her values ​​and beliefs adorable but any children she has will not have that same privilege

Any child independent of his father will be raised as a God and if he is expected to behave like a worthy God, it would be totally confusing for the child to see people loving his mother for her humanity only to criticize and punish that child whenever he shows any hint of resemblance to his own mother

I definitely see Percy teaching and reproducing little traditions and values ​​that she herself learned from her mother to her children, the yanderes would let this continue because seeing Percy acting so happy and excited warms their hearts

It would be so difficult for the children because literally all the gods around him would be criticizing humanity and its customs while at the same time idolizing their mother who is the definition of humanity, the children would be criticized for having 25% human blood ( which is ironic because Percy is 50% human and NOBODY cares about that), the gods make children feel inadequate because they have human traits (maybe they don't even realize they do it, maybe they treat it as something more fragile and dumb, like they accidentally underestimate and infantilize children) while also adoring their mother for the same reason

Yeah, he doesn't approve of this. He mainly disagrees on the point of dating at all. The moment you entered the stage of wanting to date boys/girls, (possibly during your Twilight stage ;)), he immediately shuts it down with his 'dad glare'. At this point, It's not even a question of whether he'll accept it; it's a question of how far your s/o can run until they get shot in the head from him.

Unlike the other dads, Ghost is strict – the strictest out of everyone. He expects you to know things, especially with dating. You should understand his reasoning without any explanation. If needed, he will kill your s/o in front of you. Though, he doesn't want for you to see how brutal he can be; ruining the image he wants you to have for him.

How you could date under his strict containment is beyond me. But, when breaking his rules, there are punishments and consequences. He will ground you, taking away all and every electronic you could have, and putting 'extra security' on you. This involves taking away your privacy, meaning all doors, any locks or secret items you're hiding are immediately in his room for supervision.

And if he finds out your s/o is another recruit? He'll make sure their life is a living hell on campus. Always demanding training. 'Accidentally' punching them too hard, and purposely making them do mistakes on the field, making them AWOL or dying in some way.

A little fanart I made of George and Paul When I learned how parallel their friendship is to me and my bff, I can't stop loving them

I have a bff who I've known since primary school. She's 8 months older than me, born on June, and I was born on February the next year. We became friends because of same hobbies and interests. We had a friend group, then she introduced me to her new friend group and so on. we didn't even notice how parallel our friendship was to Paul and George because we didn't know the Beatles lore until we were in our late teens xD

It saddens me that this fandom forgets that George was Paul's original best friend and Paul was George's too. It's always Paul and John, and George and Ringo. Even at the end, George told Paul that he smelt like home. Because that really is how a childhood friend smells like! Maybe it did hurt George too that over the years they lost the bond that they shared. But at the end, a childhood friend really is different. And I WOULD spend the last days of my life with my childhood friend too.

Istg I've formed friendships too in my late teens/adult years but a childhood friend has a very very different and special place in your memories and heart. It's unexplainable!

(This ended up being a lot longer an answer than I intended hoo boy sorry about that)

Hmmm, I’m not too big a shipper tbh! Especially since I really enjoy canon interactions backing my ships, so it’s hard for me to actively like any that don’t really have that going for them. There’s plenty that I see around that I think are cute, but that’s usually the extent of my thought process for them.

For ships I more actively have, I guess I like AprilxSunita! They’re very very cute and I think they have some huge meet cute energy in their first episode together, and their chemistry is genuinely adorable (plus them being featured means more April screentime which is ALWAYS a good thing.)

I also think AprilxCasey (and when I say Casey I mean our OG girl) is really good, as I’m a sucker for enemies to lovers, and I think they have a lot in common and just bounce off each other very well (not to mention this ship in other iterations of TMNT has a loooooot going for it.)

Keeping the chain going, I think RaphxCasey (again, OG Casey) is also one with a tonnnnn of potential. They have a lot of common characteristics, and considering Raph’s whole thing with Franken-Foot, I really think there’s a lot of room there for a relationship to develop. Plus, like AprilxCasey, Raph and Casey tend to have a close relationship throughout the iterations of TMNT and it would be great to see that more with these two, even if not romantically.

Actually going back to enemies to lovers, I unironically think there’s a ton going for DonniexKendra. I know a lot of people hate this ship, but I don’t and I actually think it could very easily work whether in a love-hate way or a slow burn way. There’s a lot to like here and honestly they’re good together! Kendra is legit Donnie’s type too haha (cute, but mean.)

Lastly, SplinterxDraxum is good…when done right. I really like when people take it and don’t undermine the very real trauma that Splinter has gone through. As I’ve stated a lot, I love me some enemies to lovers, so I can see the potential here. Plus lbr Draxum was down BAD for Lou Jitsu when he first saw him haha.

I think that’s the extent to what I actively like? Everything else usually falls into “aw cute” or “ehhh not for me thanks”. And before you ask YES leosagi is cute and I’ll read fics with it if the premise is appealing, but I’m afraid I need some canon interactions to establish base character dynamics before I actively ship it alas.😔 Super cute though, no hate to it or any of the other CanonxCharacter-they’ve-never-met ships, I genuinely think people should just have fun! And for what it’s worth I really do wish we got a Usagi and Leo interaction in Rise like we have in other iterations.:(

So yeah. Overall, I have a few ships I enjoy, but I fall much more in the “prefer to keep everyone to themselves and make the focus family and friendship” category.
