“Hey! What part of ‘get out of here’ did you not understand?! I said--!”

Movement, out the corner of his eye; a shuddered sensation of pure chaos energy rippled along his skin, his quills bristled; Sonic turned, stepping between her and the creature that was beginning to rise.

“Damn,” he sounded glad; a smirk had rose along Sonic’s face. He dashed forward, a light blue energy forming in his left hand before he chucked it, using that momentum from his dash to enhance the spear.

It tore mercilessly through the creature that had been in the midst of its attempt to pry itself out from under the fallen trees. A gurgled cry left it, before its body twitched and then shattered, light particles of pure chaos energy floating into the air. Aimlessly.

Before those particles redirected, and floated over before absorbing into Sonic’s body. He inhaled, then exhaled; as this occurred, those wounds on his body seemed to momentarily give off light wafts of steam before closing up on themselves.

That irritating thing dealt with, Sonic turned back towards the gal that had decided to stick her nose where it didn’t belong. Brat.

“I told you. Now go on, shoo. Go on.”

Ayyy, I decided to get around turning Bow and Snap into gay fathers of Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash ;w; I know, I know.. I'm gonna get a LOT of comments saying things like "Scootaloo and Dash aren't sisters, they just see each-other as siblings" and "Snap Shutter and Mane Allgood are Scootaloo's parents!" All I can say to that is, yes, I know- But I have to remind you that the Mainverse isn't based on the canon universe, Mainverse is my own version of FIM and the ending of FIM, just like Pandoraverse, Starburstverse (idk what @/kianamai calls her mlp ng universe..),  LegacyVerse and many more other verses created by other MLP Next gen users, it is their own universe/AU. So in my universe, Bow and Snap are both gay parents, and since they are both males (and not one of them are a unicorn) So, Windy Whistles steps in as a surrogate mother.. she had been Bow Hothoof's loyal best friend for many years, so she was happy to help Bow and his husband. And thus, Dash and Scoots were born to be sisters. As you can see, I based Bow Hothoof of Rainbow Blaze slightly tweaking his mane to be kidcore themed, and giving him a sweater which was (possibly) knitted by Aunt Holiday's wife, Auntie Lofty. And removed his exposed hooves, but I still kept the cutiemark only changing it's rainbow colors and made the cloud brighter. As for Snap, I made change his mane a bit, still kept his tail and added a 'scootaloo's mane color' streaks in them. His outfit is still the same. I imagine them living in separate homes (despite not being divorced), just that they both couldn't agree on where they could settle down: Bow Hothoof, wants to still live in cloudsdale so his future kids can become future Wonderbolt flyers or work at the weather factory. While Snap Shutter wants to live in Ponyville so their future kids can visit their aunts or experience the many places they can go in ponyvile or become a world traveler/adventurer like him. So, they came up with a solution, The kids can visit their father, Bow, in cloudsdale and stay there for a week then come and visit their dad, Snap Shutter (if he isn't around, they go and stay with Aunt Holiday) for a week. Muse Info

Jennalynn is my primary muse and the leader of The White Hare - an inner city girl gang, made up by members of all walks of life. Here's the basics for them:

Jennalynn Leader. Born in Ireland and raised there until the age of 8. At that point she and her mother left the country and fled to the States to get away from the escalating abusive treatment from Jennalynn's father towards both of them. Years later, when Jennalynn was 16, her mother died of cancer, and Jennalynn moved in with a close friend until she was old enough to live on her own. It was on that friend's couch that the idea of the gang (which is the second generation, stateside chapter of the gang that Jennalynn's mother led back in Ireland) was formed. Jennalynn is pansexual and in a relationship with Rose of the Reapers.

Chey Second in Command. Granddaughter to the founder of Kalle Industries and daughter to the current CEO. Chey rejected the easy path of 'poor little rich girl' and became an activist in her own right, a common sight at protests. With her almost violently purple hair, it was hard to miss her - at least, unless she wanted you to miss her. With an almost preternatural ability to disappear into a crowd, she's never had to worry about her extracurricular activities with the gang becoming fodder for the gossip mill. Chey is aromantic, bisexual, and single by standard definitions, but considers herself to be platonic soulmates with Brooklyn O'Connor.

Robin Recruitment/'Gang Mom'. Robin first met Jennalynn at the age of 14, when she lived with her family in an apartment down the hall from the one that Jennalynn and her mother moved into upon arriving in the States. Quickly Robin went from just a neighbor girl to a sometimes-baby-sitter to a friend. When the gang started forming, she was the cavalry called in to help support the broken and breaking girls, and as such is now the self proclaimed mother duck to the gang, because "God knows none of them can take care of themselves." Part therapist office, part pharmacy, part crash pad, her apartment is always open to any of the girls. Robin is aromantic, bisexual, and not in a relationship.

Matt Acquisition Specialist (Read: thief). One of the first members of the gang when it formed. Raised by a single father after her mother passed away when Matt was a baby. The meddling of an overzealous aunt left Matt with some significant inadequacy issues, ultimately resulting in her developing an eating disorder. With help from her best friend Danielle and support from her father once he found out, she was able to take the steps needed to recovery. By present day she's okay most of the time. She and Danielle share an apartment on the gang's turf. Matt is, in her words, 'a hopeless lesbian' and is in a relationship with Freesia and Cherry of the Reapers.

Danielle Supplies. What Matt acquires, Danielle keeps track of. They don't talk about the sources of said acquisitions. Danielle (more often called Dani) grew up with Matt and was also one of the first members of the White Hare. When Danielle was 16, she turned up on Matt's doorstep in tears, with a few belongings thrown into a bag - Her parents had not reacted well to Danielle's coming out as less than straight. Ultimately she moved in with Matt and her father for the remainder of high school, and after graduation she and Matt got an apartment together on the gang's turf. Danielle considers herself homoflexible and is in a relationship with Shahrazad.

Jhara Grifter. Jhara's hobby: talking her way into events she didn't technically belong in just to play with the upper crust she could find within. She got more than she bargained for one evening when she did just that and decided to toy with a certain violet-tressed heiress who was in attendance at the event in question. Chey was immediately intrigued by her, recognizing immediately that she wasn't really supposed to be there. After jumping through a few metaphorical hoops that Chey set for her, Jhara recieved a cryptic invitation to meet Chey somewhere very unlike where they had initially encountered each other. She turned up regardless of her uncertainties about it, and after much deliberation on both sides, she eventually joined the ranks of the White Hare. As time went by, she proved herself a very valuable asset indeed, stepping into roles whenever needed for whatever kind of manipulation got the gang what they needed. Jhara has a very devil-may-care attitude towards sexuality, and is not currently in a relationship.

Kamille Mechanic. Born to an engineer father and a medical doctor mother, it was rather expected that Kamille would be brilliant. To the surprise, and perhaps the chagrin, of her parents, however, that brilliance shone in a completely different direction to either of their fields. At a young age, while bothering a friend's older brother, it became clear that Kamille had a certain aptitude for mechanics. As she grew, that aptitude quickly became a far more reckless passion: Kamille fell deeply in love with cars, motorcycles, anything that could go fast. Rather than go to college as expected, Kamille took the money and went her own way, becoming largely a free agent until the day that she rescued a member of the White Hare broken down on the side of the road. The rest, as they say, is history - Kamille now takes care of all the gang's mechanical needs. She is pansexual and she is not in a relationship.

Kyria Weapons. Kyria was only 7 years old when her parents were killed, leaving her a ward of the state, at the mercy of a system that bounced her from one foster home to another. Traumatized and misunderstood, she was quickly labeled a 'problem child', which didn't help her case for staying in any one place. At the age of 12, she ran away from a particularly abusive foster father, and spent the next few years on the streets before being taken in by the girls of the White Hare at 17. Her affinity for defense items made her an excellent fit into the group, taking a position similar to Danielle's, but with a focus on weaponry. Kyria is bisexual and in a relationship with Daisy of the Reapers.

Erie Tech/Hacking. Erie discovered the gang after she found their basic security camera set up while she was visiting family in the city. The safeguards on the camera system were woefully lacking, and after some careful digging to figure out who the system belonged to, she more or less invited herself into the gang by turning up in Jennalynn's apartment and announcing that she was going to be their new tech. Erie is straight but could not possibly be less interested in sex as a concept, and isn't in a relationship other than her close friendship with Cherry of the Reapers.

Nicolene Medic. Raised on a southern equine farm, Lena is every bit the gentle country girl you would expect. Growing up, she loved her home, but couldn't deny a desire to see more than the countryside surrounding her. While she didn't quite follow her high school boyfriend to the city after graduation, it was because of him that she focused on that area in particular when she was choosing schools. The light and noise and speed of life in the city was a shock to the system for Lena, and she just about gave up and moved back home, but before she could commit to doing so, she met Robin, and by extension several of the other members of the gang. She had started developing skills in medicine with a more veterinary lean, but she was able to apply much of that knowledge towards helping the gang, learning from the gang's then-medic. Lena is unexpectedly heteroflexible and in a relationship with Lavender of the Reapers.

Noa Scout/Intel. Born and raised in what became White Hare territory, the gang stayed on the edges of Noa's awareness for a good portion of her formative years. She only ever interacted with them in passing (she remembered the one with the blue hair particularly fondly) but she always had a certain fascination with them. After quite some time of observing them from a distance, following different members around in turn, one day her curiosity latched onto one girl in particular. There was something familiar about her that she couldn't quite place - couldn't, that is, until the glimpse of the bright purple hair. Suddenly it all clicked into place. Noa was the first one to identify her, the first one to follow her closely enough not only to confirm her identity, but also to speak to her directly. The younger girl - youngest of the group by a couple of years - was almost immediately folded into the gang at Chey's insistence. Now, she works with Chey to gather information. If there's knowledge they need from the streets, Noa can get it, no question. Noa is straight and not currently in a relationship (but she's also 16, so.)

Lila Jack of All Trades. Lila first came to the city to look at schools, the trip being officially only to tour colleges and figure out which would be good options to apply to as she reached graduating age. In reality, her motives stretched beyond education to a desire to find her sister - or at least, to get closure on why the letters had stopped coming. Sure enough, after connecting with the gang that Aeira had once been a part of, Lila was able to get that closure, and was able to visit her sister's grave. After spending some time with the gang, she could see what had made Aeira settle there, and ultimate applied to and enrolled in classes at a nearby school, becoming a member of the gang between classes. She does a little bit of everything, learning as much as she can from all the members of the gang. Lila never really bothered to put a label on her sexuality, and she is not in a relationship.

Shahrazad Legal. The newest member of the group, Shahrazad joined the gang after the White Hare and the Reapers had largely become indistinguishable from one another. After all, it was only fair that both halves of the group have the same legal representation, and her longtime friend from pre-law, Cass, had been representing the Reapers for years before that. After a long time spent coming to terms with the balance between her sexuality and her Muslim faith, she considers herself sapphic and is in a relationship with Danielle.

Verse Info

Gang Verses Main:    {&this is the world we've made} In this verse, Jennalynn is 22, and the gang has been going strong for ~6 years. The girls of the gang are from all walks of life, each bringing a different perspective to the situation. This verse is single ship for a handful of the girls, as noted in their stats, but there's always room for friends, enemies... Maybe even more Hares.

Future:    {&all that i'll ever need} This verse takes place primarily several years past the events of the main verse. Jennalynn and Rose are disgustingly happy together, as are several of the ships that carry over from main verse. Interactions can take place at any point during or after the events above.

Assassins:    {&steal your soul away} In this verse, The White Hare grows from a street gang to a vicious crew of assassins and vigilantes. Sometimes, if you want something done you have to do it yourself... Or find the right people to do it. The White Hare has a reputation - it's the name whispered in the dark corners, the monster under the bed for those who are feared by most. Interactions can be targets, or those seeking out the help the crew offers, or any number of other possibilities, really. This one gets dark fast.

Jennalynn-Centric Verses The Old Guard / Immortality:    {&died a few times before} In this verse, Jennalynn is immortal in the style of The Old Guard (because I can't help myself). She dies the first time in Ireland in her mid-twenties. From there, if and how she connects with others like her will depend on how interactions play out.

Public Eye:    {&surrounded by all of these lies} This verse takes place within mainverse, but centers entirely on Jennalynn's efforts in her adopted role in the public eye. Basic information from Jennalynn's mainverse bio still applies, including the single ship situation - though that isn't to say Devin isn't absolutely fair game for flirtation in the early days.

Mer:    {&in the shallows} In this verse, Jennalynn is a mer. She's opted to be a free agent rather than seeking out a family unit as most mers do. She still has ties to the one that raised her, but she largely travels alone. Key points about the mers in my mythos: mers have a lot of impact on the weather of the coastal areas, especially those who are the leaders of pods; mers can change into something resembling a human if they are outside of contact with water, but the process isn’t pleasant; physical touch is kind of a big deal.

Uni:    {&americana exotica} In this verse, Jennalynn is 21 and in uni/college, a photography major. There are a couple of variations on how this verse can play out - if you want to play in a specific version, feel free to pop into my IMs to discuss! The differences primarily hinge on whether or not Jennalynn's mother survives, and what happens when Jennalynn is 8. This verse is super flexible!

Musician:    {&heavy metal broke my heart} Once two out of three of the members of the indie band Rabbit Hearted, Jennalynn and Chey are now co-owners and operators of White Hare Records. They frequent various music festivals and lurk on soundcloud or bandcamp in search of talent that might be a good fit to sign with them. Interactions can come from potential talent, current talent, fans of their former band, or any number of other possibilities.

Avatar: The Last Airbender:    {&trouble is her middle name} This verse takes place in the universe of Avatar: The Last Airbender. She can bend, but it never felt right to her. She learned the basics and never really sought out anything beyond that. Most of the time, if asked, she'll say she isn't a bender at all. As an adult, she turned into a bit of a nomad, never really settling down. I haven't pinned her permanently into either series in the franchise, so interactions can adapt to whichever one works best!

Maybe it’s ironic, if unintentional, but the common theme to every Sona AU I have is that she plays the “supporting” role. She exists as someone whose make and nature is to help and support other people while struggling with her own sort of personhood; that is, being her own person and learning confidence and independence.

Mainverse Sona struggles a lot with being strong for herself and can fall into depressive episodes of feeling unknown and isolated from others despite the connections she makes through her music. Muse is hyper aware of herself, being a god, and fully understands her role to inspire Runeterrans and make their lives worth living - but has little reason left besides duty to keep going for herself, which she buries under pride and hedonism and a generally flippant, flirty, bon vivant nature.

Guqin is similar but different in that she’s so content with herself and genuinely happy just about all the time. She just wants to help the world and love people and indulge in every experience - but the important thing is always to be in service of the mortal world and protect them from corruption and evil (while trying to resist corruption herself).

Odyssey Sona is probably the greatest example of Sona existing for a purpose rather than for herself - even in-lore it’s Yasuo who can open the Ora gate, not her. But everyone thinks she can (namely Rhaast and Kayn), and she uses that to protect him. Her whole life has been for a greater purpose, to the point it’s caused her so much stress and repression she’s ready to explode. She’s the strongest personality of my AUs (maybe next to Muse, but different) but the same theme persists... just differently.

The rest aren’t anywhere near as developed, but you could probably imagine each one with Sona falling into that sort of role each time; being the “support” of the Arcade group, keeping the guys in Pentakill in line, and DJ is just... sort of Modern but not but it varies but ???

(Sweetheart I just consider a costume swap for an older Sona, at best. That universe doesn’t seem to have much to it. Silent Night is also a very obvious costume change.)

Do you have a list of ships you're doing for Championverse? Is there any overlap in ships between it and the Mainverse, or is it all different ships?

The closest thing I have to a list of ships in ChampionVerse is just what’s on the ChampionVerse family page. While there’s some I’m throwing around ideas for that aren’t on there, usually once I’m feeling more “set” on a ship, I’ll add it to that page and the directory. I still might change them, but there’s a lower chance of me changing them once I add them to the list.

While some ships overlap, most don’t. Or at least I don’t bother listing ones that overlap unless they’re in a new situation than what they go through in Mainverse. Thus why I list Attila/Hun since in ChampionVerse, not only does Hun take Maverick with him when he runs away from his abusive ex, but the duo also never rejoins Team Rocket down the line (mostly since Neo Rocket doesn’t exist in this verse). They instead just end up running the ranch Attila inherits from his fam. Horace/Goh is another ship I’m thinking of overlapping, since I want Eilian to exist in both verses for crossover reasons. I’m sure there’s more ships that will overlap, but the important thing is they need a different story in ChampionVerse for me to bother listing them. And for the most part, I do try and use new ships.

I hesitate to share this since this doc is for MY reference and not an official thing for this blog (which is why I have some unsourced fanart in there, even though most of the less recognized art is actually just from the trading card game) but I suppose, if you want to see some of my prototype ship ideas, I have the ChampionVerse ships at the bottom of this doc. I find throwing the character images for possible ships next to each other in this helps me think about them while trying to make up my mind if I actually want to use them or not (I’m doing the same thing for Mainverse Alola on this doc). So any ship in this doc that I don’t have on the family list here take with a grain of salt. They’re very much prototype ideas.

Verse Information - Tamaran Trek

Let me see if I’ll manage to write this into a verse before I actually finish the show of it that I’m recently watching.

So, yeah, you might be able to guess from the title what this is, or perhaps not - and I have no idea if the title even makes sense word-wise, but honestly, I was all out of ideas and replacing ‘space’ with ‘Tamaran’ just worked well-enough so yeah. It’s only a title, not like it changes anything about the whole idea. But, like I was saying, you might be able to guess from the title, but in any case: It’s a verse to fit my muses into the Star Trek - Universe.

In short, this verse will keep the “origin story” of my muses basically the same. Starfire still left her home at some point after longing for exploring, she was still caught by the Gordanians after her sister did a thing with them with now being ruler and all, and she still encountered a group of 4 other people that helped her free herself from the Gordanians and then decided to stick together from then on, on a ship that’s probably mostly consisting of remains of a Gordanian ship, and travelling through space. This all happened a few years later in her life, though, and they probably didn’t meet on Earth, but more likely on some other planet that all 5 of them happened to be at.

Whereas my mainverse has Starfire be around 16~17 after the experiences and all the bonding with the team, for this verse I will have her be 25~26 after a similar amount of experiences with the team, even if the actual ‘missions’ probably went by different in a few ways. She basically simply left her home, and as such ‘triggered’ all these other happenings, a few years later than in my mainverse. (I’m mostly doing this since I feel like it works better with the general ages within the shows) She will likely still be pretty much the same character, misunderstandings of sayings and all, because if she left her home later, she is still as fresh to the new language and other customs as she is in the mainverse. The tamaranean powers also stay the same - energy, ability to go into space without any protection, flight, strength, language-assimilation; all these things.

I’m not setting a star-time for this verse; I feel like I can keep it vague enough so that it can be thrown at any of the shows and as such different times.

For a long time already, tamaraneans have been able to travel between planets - their bodies even allowing them to fly into space without any protections - but despite that, they have never reached out farther than their own star system (Vega is what I usually call it, but Wiki shows me something like that already exists in Star Trek so uh, I’ll come up with a name once it’s needed). Those contacts that they did establish brought forth wars over wars, presumably a good amount of tamaraneans along the way were taken and forced into becoming obedient workforce (or similar, perhaps worse, things). Without actually wanting the contact, they know that an amount of other species know about them, and a good percentage of these that know them refer to them as ‘Troqs’ and consider them inferior; which of course only confirmed that it was better to stay on their own. (Aka here’s my explanation for why they aren’t a species included in any Star Trek thingies before we have my muse meet one in/from one of the times)

I don’t want to set rules for what species the other Titans are, it feels like if I name anything here I would force other RPers to fill these slots even if they had something else in mind for their verse. So I’m starting this by saying there’s absolutely no must here, I’m absolutely open to changing this if you have another Titan as muse and see them as being something else than I name here. But also, I think I need to set something for them in order to feel more like they actually exist onboard together with Starfire, so I have to name some things here. Those are very vague and rough, but that’s simply because I don’t really know what to do about them and I don’t feel like it’s my place to really decide things for them anyway. - Robin, or well, he might actually be going with his normal name here (which I won’t write because I don’t wanna bother with whatever comes from writing it into a post, though if you need to know it I can tell you it’s Richard Grayson; just know that he is using a nickname for that first name), is probably a ‘normal human’, coming from Earth (or some place where the humans also settled, or perhaps a ship or sth) and just having experience with space travels and also fighting. Maybe he even has (brief) experience with the Starfleet or something? - For Raven, I would say either Azarath is its own planet (which sounds like a good way of doing it), or if I’d want to settle her into already existing worlds, a quick read told me about a “magic”-using species called the Megans, so perhaps she could be that. Regardless, she looks human enough (I would say still with grey-ish skin bc I’m used to that) and is able to do magic. - Cyborg has probably been a human, saved by being combined with machine-parts again - depending on the star-time I guess he could be part Borg as well, but yeah. - I would simply say that Beast Boy is, as in the normal verses too, a changed human - though perhaps we could also have him be a half-human, half-changeling? Since that’s a shapeshifting species and it might just work. Or ofc some other species or something, but yeah. For my version of him, he’ll still be green, and still able to turn into animals.

Their ship is probably rather small, offering usually like 12 very small sleeping-cabins (think how the smaller cabins on boats and the likes are), with just enough space for a bed and a small cupboard for storing clothes and the likes; but have been changed into making it 7 rooms (5 big ones and 2 stayed as small) by removing some walls and the likes, one or maybe 2 bathrooms, a machine/engine room where there can be work done on the ship and the likes, and the “main” room being the bridge and also the living room basically (or “ops room” how it was called in tt). There’s a small side-chamber right next to the main room that they turned into a (tiny) kitchen of sorts, despite having replicators.

If any, I will be using her normal icons, but I’m not sure how well they fit. She would still be wearing her tamaranean uniform, but I don’t have any other icons than from the TT show and the followup-comics; so while I assume I should use some to make her look a little more ‘grown’, those are all I have to offer, and I'm not sure if I should use them. Especially since most Star Trek thingies are live-action, but that’s a whole different story. I’ll probably decide by how I feel at that moment. Maybe one day I’ll actually settle for some comics of older Star (or perhaps those animated movies, but uh, not sure on those) to accept as “my look” for her older self, and then I can perhaps make those for icons here. Or I’ll actually get my motivation for doing icons of a RL-FC, though those ideas are all for the far future. Sorry.

4-7!! For them juicy character development questions

Character Development: hard mode!

4. Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know? 

As far as her GX/Mainverse, that would be pretty much every threat to Yubel, but especially Yubel - and just about all her friends know. By the time Yubel’s threat is over, Aoi’s no longer seeing life as a game. She’s not out to just have fun and mess around, or play games with just about everything. She’s still fun loving and loves to have a good time, but she focuses more. She’s a bit more serious, looks to live each day to the fullest twice as much as she used to. And with her focus, she decides on what she wants to do with her life - something she didn’t know before this.

In her ARC-V verses, it’s every time she watches someone card someone. It’s carding people herself before she defected. Seeing how hard Yuya fights. Seeing entertainment duels first-hand. Seeing Heartland after its destruction…. There’s a lot that happens in these verses that changes her, and not all of them others know about. She’s guilty of bottling up her emotions that aren’t happy and bubbly and especially her traumas and fears. There’s some that are more obvious and people know, like how Yuya (and indirectly Yusho) changed her entire world, or how Dennis’s betrayal breaks her, and finding Aster again relieves some of her guilt, but also just as many that they don’t.

5. On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

In all verses, a piece of candy, any money she might have on her, and possibly an extra ribbon, to tie up her hair with. Otherwise, in her mainverse she also keeps her PDA in her pocket (as opposed to Jaden, who has an actual holder on his belt for it).

For her Wings Made To Fly ARC-V verse, she also keeps an old, small piggy keychain in her pocket (given to her by Jaden years prior and left behind when they defected, just for him to have it instead and given it back to her).

If it’s not around her neck, her necklace (given to her by her parents prior to attending Academia) can be found in her pockets in Finding A Smile, and in Dogs Of War, unbeknownst to Ryo, she tends to collect little trinkets she finds, intending on returning them to people after the war, so those are a common sight in her pockets, too.

6. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?

Generally her dreams are light and bouncy, and involve either animals or her friends. They’re soft, they’re squishy, they’re her- And if you’re looking for someone to dream about bears in tutus on a unicycle performing alongside Dennis is a circus, you found your girl. XD

7. Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?And on the flip side, we have her nightmares. A reccuring theme in her nightmares is loss and darkness - In her mainverse, it’s losing her friends, and the worst one, watching Jaden as he’s consumed by darkness and she can’t reach him in time. Helplessness also shows up kind of often in that these things are happening, but she’s either too afraid to move, or just simply can’t  do enough to help or save them in her nightmares. She loses her loved ones, and that’s one of her biggest fears.

The same applies to her ARC-V verses, but… Usually it’s in a slightly different way. She still gets nightmares of losing her friends and of darkness, but she also has the reccuring theme of hurt and suffering, both herself, her loves ones, and random people, thanks to what Academia did to Heartland. She has nightmares of losing Aster, Yuya, and everyone else she’s met, but she also has nightmares of them being carded. After Dennis’s betrayal, for a time she has nightmares of him turning on them in worse ways (though admittedly this passes after a few months, and she does make up with and adore him once more later on). Nightmares of Standard, the one place she feels is home more than her own home, being destroyed like Heartland… And of her parents being carded.

It doesn’t help she keeps things bottled up, so these likely get a lot nastier than they would if he actually talked to people, too.

miscellaneous azarath headcanons cause y not

- i’ve been told Hebrew was possibly a large influence on azarath’s language, so because of this i figured many of the original azarathians were most likely from places like Israel and some other mideastern countries

- most of azarath’s architecture (in the show at least) is definitely asian-inspired, although i’m having difficulty pinpointing a specific country it reflects (if there is one). regardless though i still feel it’s ok to assume many of the original azarathians were also asian if ya’ll could help me out with this one that’d be nice ;v ;

- the more metropolitan aspects of azarath probably came later in it’s development. maybe idk man. it’s possible they also already had the advanced technology on azarath to make it look so advanced and futuristic early on but who knows? not me. i’m just guessing on this one

-  azarath is actually probably not that old. i’d put it’s origins somewhere around the 19th century. this is bc of the previous headcanon in that hebrew wasn’t renewed as a modern language until the 19th century. bc it’s such an influence on azarath’s language it doesn’t make much sense to make it older then that

- there’s maybe a 1,000 people on azarath. when ur stuck on a v small floating island the population kinda has to be p low (i’ll be honest i’m not entirely certain if this is canon already but).

- honestly azarath is probably one of the few examples of a monarchy that actually works. this is probably because azarath is controlled and strict as hell but like. not in a bad way? they’re pacifists so. but it’s also because it’s always been like that. azarath has probably hardly changed in the 200ish years it’s been around. 

- speaking of monarchy azar’s word is law always. i mean azar is practically their version of god so. yea she’s definitely worshiped and highly respected. usually anyone that questions what she’s said will get some flack. talk shit get hit

- however, there is a system to sort of overrule (and most likely exile) what azar may say/do if that goes directly against their code (basically it’s the ten commandments but simplified ig. like you can’t kill, discriminate, steal, ya gotta worship azar, etc.). basically it’s like america’s checks and balances system but waaaaaay less complex. this involves magistrates, people who govern different important general areas like architecture, science, etc. if it’s really obvious azar violated the code they’re allowed (and supposed to) convene to decide if azar should be exiled and replaced and then tell the public obv. this system has never been used thankfully. but it’s there

- anyone else who violates the code is immediately exiled if there’s absolute certainty they like, killed someone or something. if not your standard investigation and trial is done to either confirm or find the real culprit. this has barely been used

- azarath is a real neat blend of technology and magic, p much every azarathian is probably born with some form of it, although people with innate powerful magic are very rare. this can play a factor into whether or not someone is elected as a magistrate

- on magistrates: they follow azar’s direct orders and also have guidelines on what they can and can’t do. these are p loose cause this is azarath crime and shit like that is basically nonexistent

- speaking of elections are only really held for magistrates and even then they don’t happen that often. magistrates serve life terms unless they die early on somehow or are exiled. when they die there’s most likely some time to mourn and then magistrates start going around asking people who would be the best fit. bc there’s barely a 1,000 ppl this is really not all that hard. then the person with the most picks/votes wins and there’s probably a small ceremony or something congratulations ur a magistrate. usually the new magistrate is someone close to the dead one and/or just as good as them and therefore a familiar face to a lot of people.

- new azars on the other hand aren’t elected. azar’s power and wisdom is passed down genetically, and when azar dies there’s a lot of mourning before the new azar gets their title officially. the only exception is arella, since the azar before her had no children she just picked who she wanted (that’s only in one verse too). the exception is if azar is exiled and has no children. then the election process is the same as the above except the magistrates have a lot of influence. in a way it’s more like the electoral college in that just because a lot of people like one person a lot doesn’t mean they’re gonna be azar

- azar has a really long lifespan and to date there’s only been maybe 4 total, with arella as the newest in the mainverse. also traditionally azar has always been a woman. tbh a lot of the people in power are women, mostly bc women outnumber men by quite a bit

- azarath most likely does not have a currency. instead they probably just make their own stuff or trade. this is to prevent a class system from developing and possibly resulting in stuff like poverty and inflation. fun fact this is why azar is forbidden from developing a currency for azarath. doing so would result in exile. azarath don’t fuck around

I have been following you for ages now and Casper has grown so much through interacting with so many amazing and different muses it's astonishing and crazy! ... Would you say there are any particular muses/interactions that really shaped Casper definitively over the years?

firstly, when i saw this a few weeks ago i was feeling really down about cas’ character and i had no drive to do anything with him, so thank you so much for making me feel like people still care**! this message means such a lot to me.

casper really has grown over the years (this blog is officially over three years old as of this month!), and interactions with people have been a key part in his development. the people that i’ll mention will be in no particular order, but they’re just 6 that have given him specific character changes. given the nature of a developing character, these are all essentially in the same verse, simply because these people touched him on a base level, far beyond just ships etc.

@aravensflower​: he used to be such a controlling bitchboy, and now he’s less so. he had to learn that he can’t control how people behave around him, and that love language is hard to decipher and communicate. 

@heureuxblonde​: you won’t see this, but niki taught casper to be gentler to people. less sandpaper, more nail file.

@bxlora​: yuki has been crucial for him to see that his scars (emotional and physical) are a part of his history and they needn’t define him. she’s also taught him the importance of seeking help when he needs it, mostly because she doesn’t loooOOOOOL YUKIIII

@toprovoke​: danny taught casper to have a little more fun, to see the humour in bullshit, and to talk to people he simply would never have spoken to. they seemed so different to him at first, and despite it, they’re close. there’s beauty in differences.

@miidnighters: flynn and cas only had a few interactions, but they were always so much fun and i miss u so much boo! in any case, flynn also showed casper that kindness and vulnerability didn’t make you a lesser person. (also flynn, like, crying that one time completely freaked casper out so technically he learnt never to cry in front of people because it will freak them out, BUT let’s think positively here).

@xlodge: sex sex sex and that rich people aren’t that bad. i’m only talking mainverse but them in pirate verse has him on a whole ‘nother level.

Hello! This ask makes perfect sense, so absolutely no worries! But this is my turn to hope that this answer is the one that makes sense (it certainly got a little ramble-y!)

Unfortunately, we only allow one incarnation per character to be played on the site at a time. It would work similarly how characters with multiple gender/route/storyline variables would – very, very confusingly (for their canonmates, that is).

Members playing characters from the same series aren’t expected to play their characters all from the same canon point. Character A could be from the start of the series, Character B from the middle, and Character C from the end. If this series is, say, from a game where your storyline is changed by your in-game decisions & accomplishments, Character A, B, and C might even have different events in their world that don’t line up with one each other’s– heck, Character A might even be a stranger to Character B & C (whereas B & C, back in their homeworlds, would have been good friends with A and would be very alarmed by A’s confusion). It gets messy in extreme cases, but this messiness can be used to help create some pretty interesting plots that you wouldn’t otherwise expect.

How would it work in the long run? As in, if the user drops the character/becomes inactive?

We have a brief lore in place that helps support an in-character understanding of why characters may disappear (user going inactive/dropping the character) and reappear (character is picked up by a new member) in Apericus, even as a completely different version of themselves (ie, the character is picked from a different canon point/canon au storyline/an adaptation with glaringly obvious discrepancies). This way, things that helped shape your character (plots/threads/interactions/etc) don’t have to be awkwardly rewritten and rearranged to make sense if someone decides to drop a character related to that development. However, if members prefer to completely erase history with a character that’s gone inactive, they are welcome to do just that, too.

He doesn’t do them frequently at all, but he’s quite the fan of Weed and Adderal, though for different reasons.  Changed Who You Were to Fit in: He’s tried, but it never sticks. He has a very specific personality, and he always shifts back to it.

Favorite Color:   A salmon-y pink-y color (#ff7353) Favorite Animal:   Dogs. Favorite Movie: Titanic but that’s a secret   Favorite Game:  This neat game called ‘Fortnite’ but he doesn’t play often, so he kind of sucks.

Does Age Matter:  Absolutely. Legality aside (cuz if it’s illegal, this is the one thing he’s not about) there’s a significant mental maturity gap between people of different ages The youngest he’d go is probably 21, and that’s pushing it. 

LAYER NINE: IN A PERSON

Best Personality:  Confidence, but also a sense of humor and an idea of when to relax - you can be totally kick ass, but if you work yourself to death, does it matter? Best Eye Color:  He isn’t picky, but he really likes blue eyes. Best Hair Color: He isn’t picky, but he has a slight preference for darker hair. Best Thing To Do With a Partner:  Road trips. Watching movies. Having a drink under the stars, or on the beach. Relaxing in one another’s presence, and just not worrying about shit.

& PETRA. … actl shame me so hard because i feel as if i didn’t emphasize some rlly important information about okuda’s canon. i’m sorry !! it’s probably because a. ) my attention span allows me to write like 3 paragraphs a day, and i wrote her entire bio in one day, and b. ) this is my first rp oc and i underestimated how much i should’ve detailed about her. anyways, i’ll be on ‘ vacation ’ ( aka. hanging out in a hotel room while my mum goes to a conference ) for most of next week and i plan to fix up her history / mainverse pages then.

but until i can get my grimy lil hands on that sweet hi-speed hotel wifi, here’s a quick n’ dirty guide :

yes, this is a CYBERPUNK universe. there ARE robots & a.i.s, but many are restricted to working processing jobs. you don’t typically see android-types meandering the streets. most are meant to ( ironically ) uphold traditions, store information, or solve ur super difficult maths problems. they will not take over the world ; their programmers didn’t give them a free-thinking mind bc who does that. the only real exception to a robot being ‘ in power ’ per se is the emperor, who is an a.i. but since japan operates under a constitutional monarchy it has no real power. it essentially stores a script used for instating government officials, and just holds the record of their ranks. not much more than that.

the reason i wanted to bring this up now is because i know androids are somewhat of a cyberpunk trope, but they aren’t part of the main story right now. maybe through some development they may gain importance, but since okuda is a translator i didn’t want anyone to question why a robot couldn’t just do the same thing. they don’t have the right understanding of social cues, and her job has some hard-to-explain POLITICAL influences as well that probably wouldn’t work the same with an android.

that being said, all of the influential characters ( npcs ) are human. they make human mistakes, and i really just want to be able to explore the consequences of those mistakes. they may have a heavy reliance on technology, but i don’t plan on having a robot character play any key role in the mainverse.

wang guanyu’s WHOLE STORY i seem to have left out, but he’s as important as okuda in some ways. a really shoddy summary is that : 

he grew up impoverished in china, to a family that was essentially enslaved working in the factories there. the quality of work was poor and even worse was the social structure of his district that started to evolve through his childhood. he ended up being on the very bottom on account of some physical disabilities that prevented his parents and he from being able to work enough to support themselves, and most of his neighbors/peers shunned him for it.

he started stealing to survive, and abandoned his religion as well as his respect for authority figures to work on his own. at one point he even disappeared from home for a week to see what he could salvage as food from nature.

inevitably, guanyu got in trouble with those authorities he scorned, and [ insert something really bad here. i’m not sure what, but it was something terrible enough to urge him to try smuggling himself via air transit to japan ].

when he was deported from japan and sent back to china, he ended up in shanghai where he was initiated into a rebel faction ( nameless for the time being ). and within a decade he’d worked his way up through the ranks where his fellow members had instead been killed or arrested. 

presently he’s one of the EAU’s most wanted terrorists. he organizes a lot of questionable crimes, but supposedly does it for the better of the union. in effect, though, he’s destroying economy and it’s just ... not great.

i hope to at some point have him reunite with okuda and try to convince her to help him. she’s NOT a criminal and likely wouldn’t go along with it but ?? who knows ?? if she gets involved on accident or somehow cracks into it ? could be fun, we’ll see.

i know i stated in the mainverse page that nations of the EAU each have a respective ‘ specialization ’ but i am not limiting those countries to ONLY produce what that specialty is. in no way do i just see japan as a tech country, or north korea as a military polity, or south korea as a media capitol. of course i will at some point detail their economies, but to be general i used the word ‘ specialization ’ to describe what aspect of their economies creates the highest percentage of income.

okuda will probably become fluent in more than the four languages i listed before. it seems necessary to make her more knowledgeable in foreign languages as a translator. also, considering her high iq and interest in studies, i see her as the type of person to enjoy actively learning various languages. while it’s not going to be her only hobby, communication is a large theme of her canon, and she will be honing her lingual skills as much as possible.

her father works at KIN, which is an original corporation i’m currently developing. it produces vehicles like cars, hovers, trams, possibly choppers and planes, but also is closely connected to the government bureau of transport in managing and maintaining existing public transport systems. i’m also debating whether or not to make him a c.e.o., stockholder, or simple branch manager. it would dramatically change okuda’s social standing and likely economic status so it’s something i have to think about for a while :/

also i’m going to develop city officials like police, firefighters, and probably some sort of cyber security detail team. 

more npcs will pop up, i promise. okuda has lived a somewhat sheltered life thus far so i’m thinking about trying to add more characters in her childhood life, or possibly even work colleagues just to increase the diversity in the canon. 

there’s probably a lot i’m missing but again my attention is starting to fade out so i should pause now.

    {➹} – THE ACCENTED hedgehog in question just gave the other a look, one that was unduly unimpressed. Arrow didn’t much care for this alternate, if he was going to be honest, but he was going to stand his ground. “Do you honestly expect me t’ answer that?”

A laugh left Sonic then; a mocking sneer, that bled easily into how degrading his voice sounded,

“Aww, I’m sorry, you must be too stupid to think up a good reply! How’s it feel, to be so mentally challenged? Must explain your weird way’a talkin! I’d almost feel bad for you, if it weren’t so pathetic!”
