500 years ago, Kim Hongjoong stumbled upon a dirty and old shrine. Bruised, bloody, and broken.

He begged the silent deity for help, tears cascading down his nearly broken jaw. A miracle he could still talk. His broken fingers dropped all of the coins he had to offer onto the shrine. He continued to beg for help and prayed to the God but he got no answer.

His body could no longer sustain his energy and he collapsed onto the wet ground. Hongjoong knew this was the end and he didn’t want to die like this.

Hongjoong let out one more scream before the light faded and he passed out from his injuries. No longer able to stay present.

To die for loving the wrong person. He would never change it, even if this was his death.

The deity appeared out of thin air and stared down at the almost corpse on his sacred ground. He couldn’t help but shake his head.

“Humans and their violence. Wake up, boy. I will not have you die on my holy shrine.” The deity pressed two fingers to Hongjoong’s head and he awoke with a gasp for air.

“You..Thank you.” Hongjoong tried to sit up but his ribs and other miscellaneous injuries screamed at him to stop. How he is still alive is baffling. The deity thought of him as a fighter for surviving this long with the extent of his injuries.

“Why have you come to my shrine, why do you seek my help, human?”

“Because I don’t want to die. I need to live for Seonghwa, but his family won’t let me see him anymore. They’re the reason I’m like this. They tried to kill me but I got away.” Hongjoong was able to sit up with the help of the deity, who only frowned at his words.

“Love? That’s a strong reason to fight for your life.” He admired that. A lot. He missed his love life.

“Do you want revenge, human?”

“What? I- I..yes. I do. I shouldn’t be tortured or killed for loving another man.” Hongjoong truly loves Park Seonghwa of the noble Park family. He hated Seonghwa’s face and screams when he was getting the shit beaten from him.

Hongjoong hated the Park family for trying to kill him in front of his lover. He wanted them dead. He wanted to steal away Hwa and live in the mountains away from the rest of this cruel humanity.

“Very well. I can feel your anger, human. I will grant you your revenge but it comes at a cost.” The deity crossed his arms before speaking once again, “You must take my powers and my status. You will be a God instead. Only then I’ll finally be free of this torture of living forever.”

Hongjoong was confused, “Wait, you’re willing just to give up everything? For me?”

“Believe it or not, I was once in love just like you. I was born a God, they were born a human. It was agony watching them die and I’m ready to be with them. But you must take it from me.” The deity held out his hand, a glow emitting from it. It was so inviting.

Hongjoong furrowed his eyebrows before quickly grasping the deity's hand. A scream emitted from their longs as the power was transferred to Hongjoong.

Nothing else was said as the deity faded into nothing but dust.

Hongjoong could feel the power coursing within him. Each wound and broken bone was immediately healed and he felt a strange sense of longing. He knew it was for his lover down in the village. He could only hope he was still alive and not locked up in a cell by his family. Or worse, being forced to marry someone very fast.

Hongjoong didn’t care. He was going to kill them alone and take Seonghwa away with him.

One quick flash and he was standing in front of the Park residence. The guards screamed at him and ran towards him to finish the job they tried to do earlier. They failed and were flung to opposite sides. Hongjoong made them disappear as if they never existed and marched his way in, blasting the doors open with just an open palm.

Screams were heard from inside. Good. They should be scared.

“You! How are you still alive!” It was Seonghwa’s father. No matter, he was swiped against a wall with a flick of a wrist.

“Peasant.” Hongjoong spat at the man’s now broken body.

Seonghwa’s mother screamed in absolute horror, “Geo-“ Dead. Hongjoong broke her spine with yet another gesture.

Seonghwa’s older brother ran out to be by his dead parents and to fight Hongjoong. It was pointless. Hongjoong killed him too. Nothing was going to stop him from finding his lover.

“Seonghwa?” Hongjoong called out as he stepped over multiple corpses. He ripped his bloodied hanbok and threw the pieces to the ground, they were pointless.

He couldn’t find Seonghwa anywhere. Fuck. They must’ve locked him up. That angered him much further. Hongjoong left the residence ablaze once he stepped out of the threshold. Villagers who saw the massacre stayed out of Hongjoong’s way. Now terrified of the man.

A good choice.

The new deity made his way to the village's cells. Once he gets his man, this whole town will be gone. He wasn’t going to leave anyone alive. Not after they all sat around and let Hongjoong and Seonghwa be separated.

With the cells in site, the guards were slaughtered and he burst open the gates, each criminal ran out of their cells in fear but Seonghwa remained. He knew his lover came back for him. He didn’t care how.

Seonghwa was just happy Hongjoong was alive.

“Hongjoong!” The noble ran out of his cell and into Hongjoong’s arms, “How are you alive?”

His lover only laughed, “I’ll tell you later, for now we must leave this place. We don’t belong here.” Hongjoong kissed Seonghwa with such fever that he refused to separate for several moments.

They left the village hand in hand. Hongjoong didn’t even bother to look back when he set everything ablaze, leaving nothing to save itself. He got his revenge and much more. Nothing was going to separate them ever again. Ever.

Kim Hongjoong and Park Seonghwa, both now immortals, faced the earth and its challenges together. They hid in the mountains away from the humans to maintain their happiness and peace. Hongjoong had gave Seonghwa powers to protect himself. Powers that matched their invisible tie to each other. He honed abilities from the planet. Elemental.

Seonghwa maintained a garden that he took care of with his new powers. The animals in the forest kept him company when Hongjoong had to leave to Deity Overworld, now that he’s a god.

One day, Seonghwa heard a blood curdling scream and chanting coming down the mountain. Hongjoong was gone so that couldn’t be him.

Seonghwa set down the white rabbit in his lap and marched down the hill, carefully treading.

Once he made it past the clearing, he found a big man strung up to a post, men and women surrounding it with torches. Seonghwa knew what it was immediately. A witch trial.

Humans are so cruel to anything different.

Just as they were about to light him aflame, Seonghwa cleared his throat, “I suggest you let him down or there will be consequences. I don’t take innocent bloodshed lightly.”

The people whipped their heads toward the newfound voice, “Excuse me? How dare you threaten us. Are you a witch too?” A man poked Seonghwa’s chest with a pitchfork.

He didn’t like that. Without moving, the ground swallows the man whole, “Anyone want to go next?”

The humans screamed in fear and ran away, not wanting to die.

The man on the post had been crying, thankful to be saved. Why did he have to be scorned for practicing a non harmful craft?

“It’s okay, I’ve got you now.” Seonghwa cut the ropes that held the man high, “Careful.” He caught him as he fell, “What’s your name? I’m Seonghwa.” A beautiful smile stretched his cheeks as he kept the man warm.

“Yunho. Jeong Yunho. Thank you for saving me. I’m forever in your debt.” Yunho’s large hands grasped Seonghwa’s in desperation, “I don’t know how to even begin to thank you.”

Seonghwa shook his head, “You don’t need to. What the humans are doing is harmful. You don’t deserve to die, Yunho. Come with me. I’ve got somewhere to keep you safe.”

“Um, Seonghwa, who is this?” Hongjoong appeared from a mist into the living room, confusion smeared on his features.

Yunho jumped, nearly screaming in his spot, still jumpy from earlier.

“Hey, it’s okay.” Seonghwa was quick to comfort the big man, “This is Yunho, he was about to be burned at the stake for witchcraft..I just couldn’t let that happen.”

Hongjoong melted at his words. One of the many reasons he fell for Seonghwa. His selflessness and care for others beside himself.

“I see, well, make sure he has somewhere to stay warm and rest. I’m sure it was stressful.” Hongjoong smiled and walked to his bedroom, exhausted from traveling between worlds.

Yunho smiled to himself and held the blanket close to his body, “You two are very kind. Thank you for the hospitality.”

“So, tell me, Yunho. Do you have anyone?” Seonghwa carefully sat beside Yunho, caution on his features.

“Ah, no. I don’t. It’s just me. I suppose that’s why it was so easy for me to be found by those villagers.” He could never return to his home. Not if he wanted to live.

“Well, I have a proposition for you then, Mr. Yunho, how would you like to live forever without having to worry about being burned alive?” Seonghwa offered with such nonchalance.

Yunho was in shock. What was he saying?

“Huh?”

“Look, Hongjoong and I are immortal. Hongjoong is a god and he gave me immortality to be with him forever. I want to give you that now. I know you could use it for the good in your heart.” The former noble was serious in every sense, “Of course, I’d have to talk to Hongjoong but I want to give you that offer.”

“I just thought you were also a witch honestly.” Yunho laughed.

“Well, no, but still.” Seonghwa stood back up, “I’ll let you think about it but I’m going to go speak to Hongjoong about this.”

“You’re an immortal now, how do you feel, Yunho?” Seonghwa grinned, Hongjoong’s arm around his waist.

The new immortal couldn’t help but cry as fire emitted from his palms, “I..I’m so happy.” Of course the fire was a bonus. Now he could make everyone pay that tried to burn him alive.

“Be careful with that ability, Yunho, I know what you’re thinking. I can hear everything. If you do not tread my warnings carefully, I can take it all from you without breaking a sweat. So don’t test me.” Hongjoong was stern but he knew Yunho wouldn’t break his trust. It was like he had a golden retriever that followed his every demand and order.

After all, this was just the beginning of a big tale to come.

“I will, thank you, Hongjoong.”

The three men would continue to live in harmony for decades. In peace and tranquillity. They never had to worry about another human trying to kill them and Hongjoong helped Yunho and Seonghwa hone their abilities. He was going to shape them into beasts. A small army if you will.

Nothing was going to stop him from being who he was meant to be.

They lived their lives on a pirate ship that sailed the ocean, that Hongjoong had stolen, becoming the new feared pirate crew for years to come.

He had to grow this team and he had to use the abilities he was given.

Yunho made them a fourth member. A living doll but with a human body. His name is Kang Yeosang and he’s another immortal. His abilities are unknown as he’s still getting accustomed to being a living doll. Made from dark magic.

Again, this was only the beginning for this forming team.

They’re only going to get stronger.

Since I’m still down the Rocks rabbit hole and pondering this AU some more (I'm boring and just calling it Time Travelling Rocks AU for now) I think the path of angst for any time traveling AU would go like this:

Either little Pebble (I'm just going to use this as a name for now because it's cute! Technically, unless I change my mind, Crocodile's name is Keres) gets taken off Hachinosu and Rocks has been chasing for leads, leaving a trail of destruction for days/ weeks that finally leads to God Valley once he hears the broadcast. Or if the kid was on Rocks’ ship it’s also possible they lost sight of her on God Valley because a D. Clan child is not going to just sit around and hide. There has probably already been tension between Pebble’s parents regarding whether it was appropriate to bring a child on high stake raids and if it maybe wasn’t better to drop her off on Sphynx instead where a child can grow up safe and sheltered (but alone and ultimately defenseless if it turns out Sphynx isn’t safe after all).

It's possible that Rocks believes that Pebble has been killed which starts him on an even worse spiral of destruction, with no holds barred. And there’s a real danger that killing a lot of the present World Nobles would rain destruction down on the seas below, enough that Roger and Garp know that they have to stop him even if that means killing him and protecting Celestials in the process. Yes, it’s tragic that Rocks’ child is among the casualties but they can’t let Rocks trigger a "great cleansing". (Rocks would of course think that those are empty words coming from Garp, who knows that innocent children are experiencing unspeakable suffering and die at the hands of World Nobles every day. Who knows and does nothing about it. Who knows of the wanted poster that had been put out for Rocks’ innocent child and does nothing.)

Rocks, who has no devil fruit power but uses magic (or ancient civilization technology that looks like magic), knows that if he gets killed, a last resort/ emergency spell will be triggered. He doesn’t know what exactly it does but he doesn’t care.

But maybe as he lays dying he sees his child run past. Wearing different clothes, hiding her identity, having everyone fooled that she died, even her own parents. Such a smart child. And in true D. clan fashion Rocks can die with a laugh.

And then the magic is triggered and Rocks gasps awake and instantly swallows salt water. Disoriented, with wounds carried over from the battle, it takes him a while to get to land. He learns where he is and, shockingly, when he is. 36 years thrown into the future, on an island called Dawn.

If I go with a 36 years jump then that would put him shortly before Luffy’s departure, so he would be the only Monkey kid still on Dawn. In a serious AU I would go with that for sure. So that Rocks might only return to the world stage in/ around Marineford as well, having spent the time before acclimatizing to this time (and being babysat by Garp to make sure he’s not taking the first opportunity to return to his King of the World/ World Destroying ways.)

Maybe he’d meet Luffy in Impel Down because Rocks also had the brilliant idea to break into the prison to get Ace and Crocodile out, just that he’s a lot more stealthy than Luffy. But once Luffy’s made such a commotion then all bets are off for him too. It’s a fun family trip! :DD (Crocodile doesn’t think it’s fun at all. And he’s not looking forward to seeing his parents' reunion in Marineford of all places where the stakes are just too high for relationship drama...! And from the way Rocks is talking about Whitebeard there is definitely going to be relationship drama and Rocks might just kill the old man and the doing the World Governments job for them.)

I think while the Marine would still claim victory because they think Ace died (he gets better), Whitebeard does survive.

(In a sillier AU where everything is changed anyway the time jump could be earlier.)

- Upon first glance, people would think the only reason Poseidon was so obsessed with you is because you act exactly like him. Yeah, it was still surprising that you were a human but they just assumed that the God's vanity got the best in him. However, if one was to inspect the object of Poseidon's desires closely, they'd see that there was some very distinct differences between the two of you.

- For starters, you don't seem phased when you first encounter the Tyrant of the Sea. He lets his hatred for humanity be known and threatens to kill you without a second thought and you just stare at him, completely unfazed by his prescence. If you have survivors guilt like Giyuu has and suffered tragic losses, you're not even scared of intimidated by his threat of death.

- It baffles him and it eats at him. HE'S A GOD. DO YOU NOT GET THAT? He could end your life in a snap and bring you back to life and kill you again, you puny mortal! Basically, you're both interlocked in a staring match where you just don't react to him. Almost looking at him like HE'S the one inconviencing you.

- And yet, you never leave his mind after that. His thoughts travel to the insolent human who had the audacity to stare him down and he feels...he feels something different. Not hatred but something more intense, something more passionate.

- There really is no surefire way to tell when Poseidon's hatred of you became adoration. His feelings will grow the more he observes you, how your actions show you care more than your stoic face would lead others to believe, how you seem to be somewhat concerned of what other people think. He can fix that for you, though, after all: you shouldn't have to care what other people think. Not when his obsession starts to become more prominent.

- If you're practicing the art of water breathing then he'll just use it to feed his delusions that you two are MEANT TO BE soulmates.

- When he sees you smile for the very first time, that changes everything. He gave up on his internal struggle of his ego and immediately knew you had to be his. Yes, your unamused face is what interested him in you but the way you smiled? He had to have it, he had to see it again, he had to have YOU.

- You're not allowed to reject him, he won't let you. While he does put you on a muchhigher pedestal than most humans, it isn't really saying much. You're a human, you aren't allowed to defy a God.

- Even so, let's say that you did have survivor's guilt after everyone you love has been lost in a tragic accident. You don't want to keep being the one that needs protecting, you want to protect other people but you lead them to their death instead.

- It is in that vulnerable moment you will meet Poseidon a second time, you hoped he would put you out of your misery and you'd finally escape the shackles of your guilty conscious but instead, he picks you up from the ground where you were mourning and takes you to his watery domain.

- "They were too weak to stay in your life. I am a God, I am forever, and I will never leave you. Just as you never leave me."

- So either fight back for your freedom or give in because you finally feel like you found someone who wouldn't leave you, but either way, the God of the Sea will have you and you can not oppose him.

*discussion of The Vampire Chronicles, spoiler warnings for those who haven't read*

Just had to rant a little. So I am a long time reader of the Vampire Chronicles, first read them and became obsessed when I was 11 but I'm gonna be straight up - I kinda peace'd out after Memnoch the Devil because that was just a bit too weird for me and kinda personal; Anne Rice was on this whole religious journey at the same time my mother went on her own similar journey (and immediately told me I was going to hell) so the religious themes were just not it for me. After that I stuck with the first four books, which are still my favorites. Now that the series is out and I'm re-obsessed, I decided to read the later books.

I always liked Marius. I saw him as a mentor to Lestat, he just seemed like this older, wiser, and more patient vampire. I loved how exasperated and fascinated he was by Lestat. I thought his and Armand's story was tragic. But now I've read The Vampire Armand - twice - and all I can say is are you fucking kidding me. It's actually probably not for the reasons one would automatically think - yes I was skeeved that he bought a traumatized kid in a brothel and immediately engaged in sexual activities with him, (not to mention the whipping) but I'm also quite familiar with Anne Rice's erotica so these were not entirely unexpected themes. Anyway I'm not touching that discourse with a ten foot pole. We all know it's problematic. We're all watching the show any way.

But man, so what the fuck does Marius do immediately after he and Armand are reunited again after Armand's suicide attempt? Armand entrusts him with what is most precious to him, his mortal 'children', Sybelle and Benji. Armand leaves them for ONE FUCKING DAY and when he comes back Marius has made them vampires. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK MARIUS.

Armand is screaming & crying and furious and then I hate-scanned what seemed like 30 pages of Marius making long speechy excuses for it and why it was actually so loving of him to take on the burden of being their Maker so that Armand can be with them forever and they won't hate Armand for it. Hello, Benji was 12 FUCKING YEARS OLD. Have we learned NOTHING from Claudia??? Couldn't give him another decade of mortality first?? God, this guy just will not allow Armand any agency in any part of his life whatsoever and it's MADDENING. Yes, Sybelle and Benji wanted to be vampires and I do think they would have become immortal eventually but again BENJI WAS 12! (and Sybelle is um...not exactly stable at the time either. Girl could have really used some intense therapy first before being frozen in her current state forever.)

Plus the fact that he just abandoned Armand to the coven that kidnapped him, killed his brothers, made him eat his closest brother and best friend - Marius couldn't have helped all that, having been set on fire and all but he had centuries to find Armand again and instead he was just like 'nah, it's whatever. I'm sure that twink is fine.' Meanwhile Lestat comes sauntering along and Marius is like 'oh hey person I've met five minutes ago, let me spill all the secrets of my life, not to mention the most secret secrets of all the vampires, including how to kill us all.' You know, I used to hate Armand and now I understand so much better why he's got so many issues.

Anyway, there's no point to this somewhat incoherent rant, I just had to get it off my chest. I don't know how Marius will be portrayed in the show and I'm excited to see it. Maybe I'll hate him even more. Maybe I'll end up loving him the way I love Armand despite everything he's done but man, I just really want to kick his ass right now.

Envy shippers are forgetting something, and thats kinda of connected to misogyny.

Just warning before i start that i will be talking negativily about N a litte bit in this post, even If a love him very much, Its necessary lollll.

Also Please dont think this post is some form of hate against V or envy. Its a post about the way >some< NxV shippers treat Uzi and their double standards.

........

So, i saw that *one* group of people making jokes about Uzi dying/N killing Uzi so N can be with V again and after some time thinking i realized that those jokes are kinda of connected to how they think that "Uzi stole N from V" or "V deserves N more than Uzi does"

And thats make me think: why, them, as an envy shippers, chooses to throw their hatred at Uzi especifically? Why is the Idea of Uzi, the young girl who did >>nothing<<< to deserve what shes going through, dying so satisfing to them? Even If Its a "joke"?

And i guess i know the answer, they think V deserves N more, they are the one that deserve to be end-game, because they have a tragic love story, they had a spark and becuse they have known each other for way longer and all that stuff, right?

But I guess, them, yes, the one who love V and N as a duo and as a couple, are forgeting something important in this equation: N himself

If they want to blame someone for envy not working in the present time that much, N is the one they should be hating on (and V too tbh) not Uzi, Uzi is just having feelings.

N is the one that choosed to prioritize and protect a random purple worker girl he just met.

N is the one that choosed to change sides and fight against his own damn crush to protect the people of a random worker girl he just met.

he is the one that choosed to stop to act on his crush on V once he met Uzi, the random worker girl. (Srs, not even a single sigh of it since episode 2)

He is the one that choosed to keep holding Uzi's hand (and embrance It harder, when she was the one to ask him to let It go) while blushing at her on that hallway in front of everyone.

He is the one that randomly got her to have a dance with him in that prom fight.

He is the one that felt extremely bad of the Idea of Uzi being scared of him, yes, the random worker he just met.

He was the one to get angry at V for not respecting Uzi and say to her face "what is wrong with you?"

He is the one that ins't afraid to be all cozy with her in public (cabin fever is here as proof)

He was the one that, even after reexperiencing the thing he had with V in the past again, was happy to see Uzi instead of being nervous about it, when even V was embarassed.

Uzi never did anything, thats just a Uzi they created in their minds. wich ins't that surprising since they all dont even like to rewatch most of the show anyways (N and Uzi's interactions are too much for them to handle)

The worst thing she has done was being agressive to V, but mind you, thats bc V was treating her way worse when Uzi even considered her a friend.

But they wont talk about his position in this triangle right? Its just Uzi, Uzi this, Uzi that, Uzi is always the villian here.

BnHA Chapter 407: Wait Why Are You Running Away

Previously on BnHA: Kacchan figured out how to control his quirk upgrade and was totally chill and normal about it. Definitely not terrifying at all. He actually spent the entire chapter smiling and laughing like the wholesome little boy he is. I don’t know why Kid For One is so freaked out about it. He even politely introduced himself using his childhood nickname. Clearly he just wants to be friends with you, KFO!

anyway so eventually it occurred to everyone that they should maybe freaking study this shit, idk. and eventually the researchers concluded that the superpowers came from a new gene that apparently isn’t human. and upon hearing that, society apparently lost its freaking mind. which is fascinating to me because it implies that the turning point wasn’t actually the superpowers themselves, but the realization of what it meant

like, so they were apparently fine with it when they thought it was a “mysterious disease”, but somehow it hit different when they learned it wasn’t actually a sickness at all, but instead the Next Step in Evolution. and it became an “us vs them” thing, as opposed to a “we have to cure these poor people” thing. damn

small and weak, but also so, so cute. all of the cuteness genes went straight to him. no wonder AFO was jealous

(ETA: just want to press pause for a second to speculate about what type of twins AFO and Yoichi are, since it has some relevance to the story, and especially to the OFA/AFO quirk lore. so! at first glance the two of them would appear to be fraternal twins, just based on the fact that they have very different appearances, and also the fact that Yoichi doesn’t have the AFO quirk – no holes in his hands, etc. identical twins are born from the same fertilized egg, so in theory they would both have the same sequence of DNA, which means Yoichi would have had the same quirk as AFO. but that doesn’t appear to be the case. so all of that points to them being fraternal, not identical.

on the other hand, there is one piece of evidence in this chapter that does support them being identical twins, and that’s the fact that per the narration, AFO absorbed most of the nutrients from their mother. a few minutes of google fu informed me that this condition is relatively rare, and only happens in cases where two twins share a placenta, which typically is only the case for identical twins. HOWEVER, for what it’s worth, there have also been rare instances where two fraternal twin placentas fuse together and become a single placenta. AND this apparently also increases the chances of one of the twins gaining more of the nutrients and causing the other twin to have a lower birth weight.

so based on the evidence here, my conclusion is that the two of them are most likely fraternal twins with a case of placental fusion. besides, you can’t tell me that stealing his baby brother’s placenta while the two of them are literally still in the womb doesn’t sound like exactly the type of BS that fetus!AFO would pull, lol.)

A few days ago, while I was walking back home from work, I started daydreaming and at one point I had a potential fanfic in the Batman fandom.

It all started with the death of the Joker by the hands of a very angry and tired and devastated civilian.

I went through a minimal backstory for this man, a retired army/navy man, who tragically lost his entire family (wife, daughter, son in law and two grandchildren) to the Joker in some sort of stupid game with the Bat (like you have tot minutes to choose who to save but the Joker is cheating and they all die) and since he already lost everything, why not making sure his family's killer tots in hell.

And I argued against myself about why it should be a civilian, a nameless one, to do the deed.

Batman cannot kill the Joker, because by doing it he stops being Batman. In UTRH he says "if I start, I will never stop" and it's kind of a disservice to the human and caring side of Bruce (which we are seeing less and less through the years) who wanted to help and care and believed about the sacrality of life (every life is precious). That man will break if he kills someone even by accident. In UTRH he sounds more like someone who is one murder away from becoming the worst serial killer in US. What the fuck. And instead of turning away from a life where the choice to kill or not is dangling in front of his life every single time, he keeps dressing up as a bat because through violence they can resolve their inner issues.

Nightwing is another one that cannot kill the Joker. First, he already did that, it's time for another to take his turn. Secondly, he is so much like Bruce but without being all dark that for him it will be twice as hard to accept that he did something like that. Yes, when he killed the Joker he was angry, he wasn't pulling his punches and the Joker kept goading him with Jason's and Tim's (supposed) death by his hands. He was devastated by Jason's death (in a more visible way than Bruce's) and the mix with grief, hate, regret and despair, knowing that another Robin died by Joker's hands again, made him snap. That will probably make him the most sympathetic to the story of the civilian who shot the Joker. Because once upon a time, for a brief moment, he felt the same fury and grief and hate against the Joker.

Jason, in my opinion, shouldn't be the one to kill the Joker. He was killed by the Joker, it's not on him to find justice or to enact revenge on him. And it also seems that half of the time, when he isn't thinking about being the Better Batman that Gotham needs, he is probably thinking that he is back from death only to get revenge on the Joker. If he kills him and survives good, if he kills him and he dies, I don't see Jason fighting to stay alive. His first plan in UTRH was prepped that or only two would walk out or none of them. It wasn't just "kill the Joker yourself or let me kill him" plus "if you want to save the Joker you have to kill me", Jason had prepared plenty of explosives to go all out. That was a test for Bruce, but also a moment of truth for Jason (please choose me) and Jason, for all his plans to be the Better Batman, to seize the criminal empire, he was more than ready to explode alongside the Joker and Batman if it was required. If this behaviour isn't slightly suicidal, I don't know. That's why I think that seeing the Joker dead by the hands of someone who did it to take revenge for his family, it's going to give a breakdown to Jason. And the brain, to metabolize that right now the only reason Jason is alive, his revenge, is dead (and it wasn't even Bruce), needs time to think so he checks out. He needs to find some other reason to explain why Jason is back from death and is still alive. Could it be able to send Jason in a dissociative state where he is still functional but also "no one is here"? I don't have a degree in psychology, but definitely will study more on the matter. It's very likely that some sort of revaluation for the brain will translate in a breakdown with lashing out.

And back to the mystery civilian I was debating around how he will be able to kill the Joker:

1. he waits until the Joker escapes again and just shoots him and then he goes to the police to get a death by cop kind of suicide.

2. it's a more collective effort since he is not the only one who lost someone to the Joker and so we have a group of civilians that all helped the mystery man to do the deed, by either helping the Joker escapes or helping the guy infiltrate Arkham and shoot the Joker in his own cell. And then he shoots himself.

Either way I don't see him alive, he already lost everything important, he lived his life and he did his job. Now, the only thing missing is going back to his family.

But what I actually wanted to focus on the fanfic, because this is just the context, is the argument that will follow between the vigilantes. How their own personal beliefs and experiences should actually weight in this matter. Who they are to judge someone. And there will be some judging.

Because Bruce will never believe that just some civilian wanted to shoot the Joker. He is so paranoid that he will not believe that it was simple for revenge. There must be a plan or something like that.

Meanwhile Jason wants to go and scream somewhere, far away from Bruce and the stupid case. And it's clear that Bruce is thinking that Jason is behind this because, in his mind, no one wants the Joker dead like Jason (there is actually a line).

My Problem with Good Omens Season 2

For those unfamiliar with my fandom experiences: I fell in love with Good Omens in the summer of 2019, a few months after Season 1 came out. I wrote a bunch of fanfic, had lots of fun interacting with fellow fans on Tumblr, and made some great one-on-one online friendships through the fandom. It was a great couple of years.

I was very excited for Season 2 when it was announced. But between fandom overexposure, me picking up a new fandom interest, and losing touch with said friends from GO fandom…my excitement fell away, until I barely registered when S2 dropped in July 2023.

To this day, I still have not finished S2 in full. I’ve gotten through a couple episodes, but mostly it’s been me watching clips on Youtube, and learning through Tumblr osmosis what happened. And boy, was I big mad and big disappointed with how the season went.

But KitCat, you say, surely you are but a butthurt fan, because your ship became canon in a painful way! You are but upset about the Final Fifteen! The doomed kiss was what has your knickers in a twist! Such a silly thing to be disappointed about!

But it isn’t that. The Final Fifteen is bad, yes, but it’s not just because it’s tragic and upsetting. And it’s not just because it’s poorly written (and it is, don’t get me wrong, more on that later). But no, the Final Fifteen isn’t why I’m disappointed.

The Final Fifteen is the outcome of the problem. To find the root of the problem, we have to go back. Way, way back. Back to the beginning. To Before the Beginning, even.

Because that’s what I’m here to talk about: the problem with Season 2, the whole root of the problem, is the Before the Beginning sequence.

To recap: Before the Beginning takes place out in the universe, moments before it’s started up. Angel!Crowley has to prime the engine, but he can’t do that and hold up the scroll at the same time. (Idk why he can’t just make the scroll levitate next to him, since he has his instruction manual book floating next to him literally 20 seconds later, but eh, that’s a minor nitpick.) He calls out to a passing angel for assistance, and GUESS WHO HAPPENED TO BE THE ANGEL PASSING BY. THAT’S RIGHT, BABY MICHAEL SHEEN, READY TO INVENT THE FIRST CRUSH ON FLOPPY-HAIRED DAVID TENNANT.

The scene goes on, Aziraphale holds the scroll up so Angel!Crowley can crank the engine, he says “Let there be light”, has some neurodivergent wiggling about the new nebula, Aziraphale tells him it’ll be over in 6000 years, Angel!Crowley wants to complain to God about the planned short runtime of the universe, blah blah blah. But the damage to their characters is already done. (More to Aziraphale’s character than Crowley’s, but I think it does affect them both, because it’s about their relationship as a whole.)

In Season 1, their first meeting in Eden was a stroke of ineffable fate. Heaven had to send one angel to Earth to guard Eden, and Hell had to send one demon to “make some trouble.” And I’ve always loved the fact that either side could have chosen literally anyone. What if Gabriel or Michael were guarding Eden? Or, could you imagine if Hastur or Ligur were sent to “make some trouble”, and what might’ve befallen the first humans then? Maybe Eve or Adam would’ve been killed. Maybe they would’ve died of exposure or wild animals, without a flaming sword to help them after their banishment. But instead, Hell sent a crafty and curious and sometimes-kindhearted demon, who simply tempted Eve to eat from the forbidden apple tree. And Heaven sent the softhearted, generous angel, who gave them a tool for warmth and protection when they were sent into the wilderness. Aziraphale and Crowley gave rise to humanity together, simply by being their wonderful selves.

And humanity aside, can you imagine how that meeting on the Garden’s wall would’ve gone, if it were Gabriel or Michael, and Hastur or Ligur? It could’ve very easily become a game of cat-and-mouse, holy smiting edition. But instead, Aziraphale and Crowley—two strangers, remember! All they know is they’re on opposite sides, and that they’re each lonely and unsure on this strange new planet—talk casually to each other. They laugh together for a moment. And when the first rains start, Aziraphale—without hesitation—shelters this complete stranger of an Enemy under his wing. Like…you don’t get any more magical of a meeting than that???

This chance meeting of perfect strangers who happen to be kindred spirits, perfectly sets the tone for the rest of their friendship throughout time. Yes, they happen to be soulmates, but they don’t know that yet! It takes literal thousands of years for them to get to know each other, and build up their mutual trust and physical/emotional safety with each other. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither was Aziraphale and Crowley’s relationship! And that’s what makes it so strong, even in the face of Armageddon!

The whole time, Aziraphale’s purpose on Earth is clear: 1. follow Heaven’s instructions, completing his assigned blessings and miracles; 2. spread general Good among the humans; 3. enjoy himself; and 4. spend time with Crowley. (The first two are what Heaven expects of him; the latter two are what he decided to do on his own.) He might have vague inklings that Crowley was once an angel, but it doesn’t appear to be his entire driving force behind seeking Crowley out. He only briefly mentions at the bandstand breakup scene that “you were an angel once”, but this was only a direct response to something Crowley says (refuting the notion that Crowley is “unforgivable” because he’s a demon). It’s otherwise never mentioned again.

Not only that, but in Season 1, though we got several glimpses into their shared history and their dealings with humanity behind the scenes, we still get the sense that there’s so much more to their individual stories. How did Aziraphale first decide to try eating food? When did Crowley get his car? What was so horrible for him in the fourteenth century? We can fill in those blanks however we want, and while answers are nice, they don’t all need to have answers provided in canon. It makes the story feel bigger, y’know?

But then Season 2 comes out. And oh, boy.

Now, their first meeting is no longer in Eden, as humanity was first starting out. Now, it takes place untold eons beforehand, when Crowley was still an angel. Now their relationship’s foundation has nothing to do with their shared love of humanity, because it starts before Crowley had ever even heard of Earth.

Now, their meeting in Eden is no longer miraculous. I know there’s still some debate among the fandom of how much Crowley remembers of his time as an angel, but since he tells Aziraphale in Job’s home that “the angel you knew is not me”, it’s fair to say that he at least remembers they met as angels. So while maybe they’re first realizing that they’re on opposite sides now, and are trying to gauge how the other will treat them as an Enemy, they are at least somewhat familiar. The tension of a random angel and demon meeting is gone, because these two know each other! They were friendly beforehand!

And the wing-sheltering thing…don’t get me started. That was a random act of kindness from an angel, who still wants to do Good by protecting a demon, and doesn’t that say everything about who Aziraphale is? While it’s sweet to see a parallel of Angel!Crowley protecting Aziraphale from some crashing stars, it doesn’t hold nearly the same weight. They’re both angels, working together! They’re already friendly! Why the fuck wouldn’t Angel!Crowley protect Aziraphale then? And by showing this S2 wing-sheltering…it cheapens the S1 wing-sheltering, because Aziraphale is just “returning the favor”, and protecting a former angel who he already knew and had a crush on. It’s no longer completely altruistic, and trusting someone he could easily not trust; it’s paying a debt, and hoping he’s still the same angel in there.

But the biggest storytelling crime in all this isn’t confined to one particular scene. It completely colors their entire relationship, from Eden onward. In S1, all the scenes throughout history, and in the present day with the Armageddon plot, is Aziraphale slowly letting his guard down to this demon he doesn’t know, and realizing they have more in common with their mutual kindness and love of humanity than they do with the rest of Heaven and Hell. The only question is, is that enough to throw in with Crowley completely, to stop Armageddon? He can either stick with Crowley and Earth, or stick with Heaven; he tries to have it both ways, but eventually he has to choose. And we all know how he chose :) But during that whole time, he’s motivated by kindness for a stranger, and escaping his loneliness, and seeking emotional intimacy with this demon who’s becoming his friend.

But Season 2’s Before the Beginning sequence changes all of that. No longer is Aziraphale simply trying to connect with this new friend; now, Crowley is an old friend, and the first time they met was as angels, and he remembers how happy Crowley was. And now on Earth, Crowley isn’t happy. He’s grumpy, and sarcastic, and bitter, and jaded. He’s traumatized. And Aziraphale remembers that happy, innocent angel who made the nebula, and he desperately wants him to go back to being that happy.

So, no longer is Aziraphale simply becoming friends with a demon, and trying to balance Heaven vs humanity and Crowley. Now, his relationship with Crowley is entirely motivated by changing Crowley back into an angel. He doesn’t see Crowley’s flashes of kindness as something strange for a demon; they’re glimmers of hope that he is still an angel underneath all the bitterness, maybe he can be reinstated if I work hard enough. He’s not just lonely, and falling in love with Crowley; he’s trying to change Crowley to how he was before.

It leaves such a bitter taste in my mouth. If I take all of S1-2 as a full canon now, I can’t look back on the moments of sweetness and friendship and connection between Aziraphale and Crowley, without that horrible gnawing thought in my head that Aziraphale remembers Crowley as an angel, that’s what he’s thinking about when he smiles at Crowley like that. It’s…disgusting? It’s gross? I hate it. I hate what sort of character this turns Aziraphale into. Not just S2 Aziraphale, but even S1 Aziraphale. It’s not the same character I fell in love with onscreen, when I first watched S1 in 2019. Same wardrobe, same platinum blond hair, same Michael Microexpression Sheen portraying him. But it’s a far crueler and more cynical view this angel now has, to want to change his traumatized friend into the previous, un-traumatized version of himself, instead of accepting and loving his friend for who he is now, trauma and bitterness and all.

All of S2’s flashbacks play into building up this motivation for Aziraphale. The Job flashback directly addresses it, where Aziraphale confronts Crowley with “I know the angel you were!” And beyond that, it deals with Crowley not being as cruel as he pretends to be, by not hurting Job’s goats or children. Meanwhile, the Edinburgh flashback shows Crowley being kind by saving Elspeth’s life, and the 1941 flashback has Aziraphale ending it with “you could have walked away, and you would have done, if you were truly as evil as you like to paint yourself.” All of which could add up to simply adding more backstory to A&C trusting each other over time…but taken with the Before the Beginning sequence, it also serves to build up Aziraphale’s belief of Crowley’s hidden angel-ness being confirmed over and over.

Which brings us to the Final Fifteen. Metatron makes Aziraphale the surprise offer to become Supreme Archangel, and brings up his close relationship with Crowley, sweetening the deal (and also implicitly threatening them) by offering the chance for Crowley to become reinstated as an angel, and working for Heaven again under Aziraphale. And given the Before the Beginning flashback, which set up Aziraphale’s desire to make Crowley an angel again so he can be happy…taken together with every flashback and present-day scene that shows Aziraphale melting under Crowley’s kindness, cementing his belief that Crowley can be an angel again…is it any wonder he jumps at this offer, and excitedly tells Crowley about it?

I think a lot of us were so shocked and upset about the breakup and the heartbreaking kiss in the Final Fifteen, that it distracted us from looking at Aziraphale’s motivations before the kiss. At least, that’s what happened when I first watched it. But looking back on it now, before I ever saw the kiss (although I had heard it was going to happen in a breaking-up way), I was still as confused as Crowley when I heard Aziraphale say all excited “He said I could appoint you to be an angel! You can come back! To Heaven! And…and everything. Like the old times. Only even nicer!”

Like. What. Didn’t Aziraphale already have this character development last season? Where he learned that Heaven doesn’t give a shit about Earth or humanity? Where he told Heaven that “I have no intention of fighting in any war!” Where he stood up to the Archangel Fucking Gabriel on the tarmac? Where Crowley told him “you don’t have a side anymore, we’re on our own side”, and then went to Hell in Crowley’s place to save his life????

But here he is, suddenly proclaiming that Heaven is the good guys, the side of truth and light???? Like…what? What? I cringe so hard, because it’s such poor writing.

My biggest gripe though, is what I mentioned about Aziraphale’s motivations in S1 being tainted. I could ignore a bad S2 (and I do, for the most part). But tarnishing S1, the season I fell in love with? That feels so much worse. That’s what crosses the line for me.

So that’s why I have erased Season 2 from my own personal Book of Life (which is also another dumb plot device imo, because they had to come up with some kind of personal stakes of what would happen if Aziraphale was caught sheltering amnesiac!Gabriel, so Crowley would agree to help him and keep it secret). It’s also why I’m not very enthusiastic about what S3 has in store, because it will be all about undoing the damage done to Aziraphale’s character arc, and salvaging his and Crowley’s now-broken relationship. The fact that it all has to happen in 90min is also bad, but I felt this way back when it was still going to be 6 full episodes. I’m not at all looking forward to it.

Tl;dr: Season 2 is bad, and damaged a lot of Season 1 retroactively, by making Aziraphale and Crowley meet as angels before Earth. It takes the magic and humanity-helping foundations out of their first meeting in Eden, and changes Aziraphale’s motivations from here’s-a-stranger-who-makes-me-feel-less-alone, to I-can-fix-him-by-making-him-good-again. It’s gross, and I hate it.

omg hi yes pls be seated im sorry this got slightly long and also took a bit!! also unsure if this even makes sense or is smth u will like but alas, i just kinda went wild. anyway thank you so much for the ask :)

i love getting a chance to talk about any and all of my aus. ghost andreil came about bcus im not a huge fan of the ghost x human relationship trope thing so i thought what if instead they were both ghosts...love beyond living is just so perfect for andreil...anyway long ramble ahead so ill put it under the cut <3

basic world building in my head is that ghosts are basically humans who are living on the Wrong Layer of the universe because they refuse to let go of their lives or have some unfinished business (normal ghost things). the supernatural isn't widely known about or believed in but there are ppl aware (like renee for instance). ghosts can touch other ghosts but not humans (duh) bcus i want andreil to fist fight and also to eventually have a physical relationship bcus it is important to me. too much interaction w physical objects depletes their energy, but the more will a ghost has the more energy they have (and by god are andreil willful little assholes).

renee and jean are both mediums! renee's been involved w the spiritual realm forever (gang related) while jean just thinks he's losing his mind slowly ^-^ renee is on a quest to help andrew move on (he hates this) but theyre still besties. meanwhile neil is desperately trying to prove that no he's not a hallucination (lol) and no jean should Not kill himself to join him. tbh idk if i want the moriyamas to be in the know or not, heavily debating over whether neil should be able to escape them through death or if he's forever cursed to be in debt to the mafia (depending on how angsty i want this to get).

NOW ON TO THE RELATIONSHIPS AKA THE FUN PART

- aaron is NOT having a good time in the beginning of this au. actively going through hell after losing a brother he just found and his mother. he's getting high most of the time, barely going to school, fully given up on himself, and Super Fucking Angry at Andrew. To Be Clear andrew didn't commit suicide but his normal canon i dont care about what happens to me attitude led to him dying while killing tilda. aaron DOES NOT KNOW that andrew killed her on purpose, but he's suspicious and angry as fuck anyway because andrew broke the deal (of staying together for high school). nicky still takes aaron in but nicky hadnt met andrew before his death so the tragedy for him is that andrew never rlly got a chance. andrew himself doesnt mind being dead (in his opinion its the same monotonous apathetic existence as he had living. which changes once he meets neil) but he's Pissed bcus he thinks aaron is throwing away his life. which in Andrew's opinion he did the hard part by getting rid of tilda (the problem). so andrew takes to haunting him by hiding his drugs and being a general nuisance to try and get him to school. i have not quite figured out how to get aaron to kick the drugs and get on palmetto w/o andrew ngl ^-^

- neil dies at the same time kevin broke his hand. riko snapped and neil pushed his buttons and refused to agree that riko was the best, so riko basically beats him to death and kevin gets his hand broken trying to stop it. a very tragic skiing accident indeed :(. kevin feels Extremely guilty over neil's death and jean practically forces him out of the nest, jean himself is basically resigned to joining his partner in death (smth neil is Not About). at this point andrew's been dead for two years? ish? and aaron is on the foxes as a freshman. neil splits his death time between trying to make things easier for jean and keep him from dying, and thwart kevin's attempts to go back to the nest in increasingly comical ways. meanwhile andrew is pissed about kevin bringing danger to aaron, so andreil are Fighting, i mean full on ghost fights where shit is levitating and lights are flickering and ppl are screaming because andrew wants kevon gone. eventually they do that line drawn across the center of the room to try and stay civil.

- eventually kevaaron start bonding and processing their grief over the loss of their brothers and fall in love at the same time, while andreil are also falling in love through asshole ghost mating rituals. major plot point would be renee using her séance powers to make kevaaron aware of their ghost protectors and a lot of drama unfolds from there (andrew reveals the murder stuff, aaron gets more pissed he died, aaron wants to banish him exorcise him in anger etc etc). the catalyst to andreils romantic relationship occurs bcus riko brings drake into the picture to hurt aaron(similar to canon), and neil basically almost ghost kills himself stopping him (expends too much energy in a short period of time) --> their relationship still doesnt start until a few months after this but it is the turning point for andrew being able to trust neil.

other small things:

lola is a contracted demon to nathan (unsure if moriyamas are aware).

nathan kills riko for killing neil (its a pride thing) and basically starts a war within the moriyamas. that neil Really does not know how to feel about, still terrified his father will be able to hurt him due to his knowledge of the occult (which may or may not be reasonable)

mary died trying to escape w neil so he went to the nest at 10 as planned. when he died and realized he was a ghost he looked for her immediately but she had moved on. it was probably more crushing to see that she could've stayed and watched over him and didnt than to witness her actual death.

tilda and mary moved on immediately after death (does heaven exist in this world??? hell?? dont ask me idk either)

pre andreil reveal nicky starts a channel to document their haunted college dorm. its one of the first things andreil bond over bcus they love starting shit nicky is so reactive. post andreil reveal nicky stops posting on it bcus it feels too weird to him, until neil is like hey i wanted to spell dick with the ouija board again :( and then nicky brings it back with gusto

Spoiler Warning for Arcane in its entirety*

An honest look at Silco

Let me start by saying Silco is a great character. The revolutionary who fell prey to “The End Justifies The Means” is a trope that rarely feels fresh or interesting these days, but Silco does. You never doubt his love for his home or for the ideal of what it could be. And like many of the characters, he starts off in the right. The oppression and abuse of the under-city is deplorable on every level. His best friend tries to kill him due to everything they go through and he is left alone, maimed and friendless. However, unlike Jinx or Caitlyn, Silco never finds his way back from the darkness he falls into and its evident in everything he does.

1. Intimidates a young street kid into being mutated by Shimmer

2. Finances the creation of Shimmer in general, experimenting on animals and people (HIS OWN PEOPLE) and flooding the under-city with it creating mutated addicts among other things

3. Uses the shimmer mutant he forced the boy to become to murder the sheriff of piltover ,who had actually tried to keep the enforcers out of the under-city so he can install his own corrupt puppet sheriff Marcus

4. Despite the fact that he promised to make a better Zaun for Felicia’s children, and that he would know who Vi and Powder are, he is completely prepared to murder them both.

5. Various gangster shit. Killing those he wishes, threatening children, all the classics

But of course, Silco’s most important role in this tale is his relationship with Powder/Jinx. The violence between Vander and Silco is tragic. We even see sadness and regret in Silco over what he believes to be Vander’s death. But it is undeniable that through the events he instigates by taking Vander he ends up becoming a “Father” to powder, and the end result is the birth of Jinx.

Silco made Jinx:

1. When Silco finds Powder, she is afraid, overcome with guilt, angry, heartbroken and hurt. Rather than take her and help her through any sort of healthy grieving, Silco weaponizes her. He speaks of revenge, “We’ll show them all”.

2. I don’t doubt Silco loves Jinx as his daughter. The issue is that Silco’s idea and concept of Love are broken. Powder needed help and support overcoming her grief and doubt regarding her role in her families deaths. Instead, she was taught to kill, to consider anyone not “us” as the enemy. “Everyone betrays us Jinx”.

3. We need only look at Jinx’s mental state after years of living with Silco to see how his raising her has changed her. She is not doing well. She is manic, aggressive, hallucinating voices and visions of her dead family, and is still overcome with guilt and self hatred.

4. Upon finding out Vi is alive, Silco immediately moves to have her killed and discredit her to Jinx. Even knowing the “daughter” he loves is buried under so much guilt and loss, he makes every attempt to deny her that catharsis.

5. During Jinx’s dinner party, Silco makes every effort to convince Jinx to murder her own sister, and to turn away from who she truly is.

Jinx tells us (the audience) in season 2 that things are much quieter in her head with Silco gone. In fact we only see him (apparition) twice. When Isha is taken, and when Isha is killed. Now of course Jinx misses him. We see this how she speaks to his chair, smells his coat, and longs for the idea of how things might have been different if Silco had found Vanders letter. But overall without him she is undeniably more at peace.

In the end, i think its fair to say that Silco created Jinx. Yes jinx tells Vi it was her, but at that moment is the same Jinx who tries to make Vi choose to have Caitlyn killed, even knowing Vi’s feelings for the enforcer. And all born out of uncontrollable jealousy and paranoia. It’s important to remember, Jinx is what was left after Powder was, in a way, destroyed. And I’m not trying to get deep on alternate personalities or anything, just keeping it basic:

1. “Powder fell down a well”- She doesn’t consider herself that person

2. “You got the name right”- She once again confirms she IS Jinx

3. Her big moment of acceptance at the end of the show, arriving at the head of the undercity forces and saving the day, is as Jinx. And thats not a bad thing. She is a changed person and the whole point is her forgiving herself, breaking the cycle, and moving forward

So with all of that considered, i say to all you “Silco was such a good daddy” folks, I disagree. He loved her the best way he knew how. He scooped that terrified little girl named Powder into his arms, and warped her until only Jinx remained.

**side note I am NOT judging anyone who loves Silco. I think he is fascinating. Just my observations. Once again to anyone bored enough to read my blathering I appreciate you*

What The Acolyte Season 2 would have looked like (had it not been canceled)

A nice thing about The Acolyte is that showrunner Leslye Headland was always very clear about the themes of the show and what the story was about, for her... and where it was going.

So as a fun exercise, I figured I'd speculate where the story might've gone, had the show not just been canceled.

The Sith subplot:

So Season 1 ends on this powerful image of Osha and Qimir/The Stranger standing together, united...

... but they're not gonna have a happy ending.

Firstly, their relationship is still forming. Yes, they united against a common enemy, but now it's time to put the pleasantries aside and start training her into becoming a fearsome Sith warrior, which is a dynamic that puts a strain on their relationship.

Secondly, and most importantly, because Qimir wants to train Osha so that he can overthrow his own master... Darth Plagueis.

And Plagueis realizes what Osha is. She's a being created exclusively using the Force... wow! Maybe she's the thing he was looking for to finally make his attempts at achieving immortality succeed!

Osha, in the meantime, realizes the Sith life isn't for her either. Her path lies somewhere in the middle. She decides to quit, maybe tries to convince Qimir to come with her.

Qimir is killed. Either because he rejected Osha's offer, thus being left alone to be off'd by Plagueis, or maybe dies sacrificing himself to let Osha escape, so the Sith Lord can't get his hands on her.

The internal review of the Jedi Order:

Beginning of the season, the chancellor is still deciding, the Jedi are being reviewed, but by the end of the first episode he decides to let Senator Rayencourt do his thing.

Instead of lying to him, Vernestra tells Yoda the whole truth... and he agrees to keep it under wraps, at least until she can find Qimir and bring him to justice, thus helping elucidate everything and get the Senate off their back.

Vernestra attempts to use Mae to find Osha (and thus Qimir), maybe in an attempt to exploit their bond in the Force. However, as with half the "memory loss" tropes in TV, Mae eventually regains her memories and frees herself from Vernestra's grip. She's now out in the wind.

Unable to find Qimir, Vernestra's lies eventually pile up and are uncovered. This scandal results in the Jedi being in the place we find them, in the Prequels:

With their power restricted, and put directly under the thumb of a Senate that will now grow more and more corrupt, seeing as the Jedi are now unable to keep them in check.

Finally, we get to Mae and Osha's final fate:

With both sisters away from their captors, their identity remains a mystery that they must both make sense of. They're not sisters, they're not twins... they're the same person.

At some point they reunite and find themselves on Dathomir... greeted by Mother Koril.

The get-together starts out great, but takes a turn when Koril explains she wants Osha to go through with her gathering. The witches of Brendok had a nefarious ulterior motive when performing the ritual that resulted in the sisters' creation... and Koril wants to see it through, their individuality be-damned.

It is at this point that the sisters' realize what "the Power of Two" really is. They're not Jedi, they're not Sith... they're something in-between. A Dyad in the Force.

They overcome Koril, maybe Plagueis too (that way he can witness a Dyad himself and we can tie it back to TROS) and go about their own way in the galaxy, now finally free and secure in who they are.

Either that or one tragically dies so the other can live. It is Star Wars, after all. Or maybe they fuse back into one being?

Bottom line: that'd be my guess as to what would happen in Season 2, had it continued. Note, I don't like the storyline I just detailed. In my headcanon:

Osha and Qimir would get slaughtered by Plagueis (because that's where joining the Dark Side takes you),

Vernestra would lie to Yoda and the ordeal would end there (because there's no way Yoda would hide something of this magnitude), with

Mae living off her days by rebuilding herself a life, happily oblivious to the horrors of her past (she deserves a break and fuck the whole "gray Jedi" nonsense).

The above is just speculation of what we would've gotten, going off the Leslye Headland quotes you can find below:
