Definitely open to "protect but soft". Very attractive. But hugged from behind? Mostly not. If I had kids, and they did it, while kids, yes. If fiancé or husband, yes, as long as I know he's going to. But surprise hug from behind, or just generally? There will be panic and/or violence.

Being hugged from behind is just. The best. It fixes me every time. Arms folded across my shoulders. A polite forearm around my waist. Full body lean from behind. Even just a chin hooked over my shoulder. It's just the best
