Cats of ReefClan

Some designs I had made for a now defunct file. All of the cats except for Cavemist were renamed by me lmao, I wanted the names to be on theme. Ospreykit became a warrior and I named her Ospreydusk, Pelicankit became Cavemist’s medicine cat apprentice (decided by the RNG) and I named him Pelicandawn.

The story I had made was that these cats were originally from a clan called CliffClan, but their territory was made unlivable by Twolegs and a fire broke out that had killed the majority of the clan. These 7 jumped into the sea below the cliff and stayed afloat on a fallen tree, eventually washing up on a faraway shore. Seaspray was made leader at only 16 moons because he was the son of CliffClan’s leader, Galestar.

My inspiration for the story came from the song Alone and Forsaken by Hank Williams.

The file is now defunct because at some point Seastar’s personality changed to bloodthirsty and I hadn’t realized until after I had saved over it and the story turned an entire 180 degrees and I just hated how it ended up. But I had already drawn these up and I really liked how they turned out so I’m posting them anyway.

This took longer than I anticipated(4 hours), just because I didn't have his design and his face was a nightmare to draw(don't ask me why)

I didn't have a particular gimmick in mind so he is a bit generic, the only thing he has going for him is the little spiked up hair that persisted, from a scrapped idea i had of making him based on a Cacatua, with slicked back hair that popped up when he was angry.

His best friend Eurymachus( another of the leading suitors) was easier to draw, generic pretty rich boy,stop.He is like a background character that is just there rn

Okay I'm not usually that creative when it comes to AUs but I had an idea - Instead of Sean getting split up from the gang in late 1898, what if it was Arthur?

Maybe the gang had made plans to head towards West Elizabeth before they got split up, so Arthur headed in that direction and waited for them. (Probably why Sean stayed in West Elizabeth too)

Arthur would be the one who works alongside your red dead online character in place of Sean, he would help you with robberies and rivalries whilst still laying low.

If I was to take it further, maybe Arthur himself needed money and you offered to let him stay at your camp to help with your trader business/bounty hunting/etc. The gang was arguably in a better position pre-Blackwater massacre, so they could definitely survive without Arthur temporarily.

Since he would be laying low away from town, it would still make sense for when Arthur goes to Blackwater for the first time with the gang, so the rest of the story can just carry on as normal!
