Just ended going through entire Witchlight and Im somehow annoyed so I gotta ask

If, when I go through it all again (which will be probably soon cause I want to remember EVERYTHING I need when Season 2 starts to come out), I wrote down every single thing they got and deal they made each episode, would anyone be interested?

April's gone already? Wow, really flew on by huh! I finished a bunch of Secret Projects which I'll be able to share soon! Played a lot of Project Sekai, too much maybe, do not ask for numbers I do not wish to know, and read some books. Not a lot, but some. I've not been very good at the book part of book blogging, but that's okay! Started a knitted hat for my mom, and made progress on the Never Ending Blanket.

Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett ⭐⭐ - I was very disappointed in this. If I had writerly abilities and disciplines, I'd rewrite it because the bones are there! It has potential! Until then, I will hold on to what I've read of Lady Trent.

Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch ⭐⭐⭐⭐- Fun! Silly! Exciting! I've been successfully bullied into reading Rivers of London! There were some bits that lagged, but it's a good start to a series and I've already checked out book two from the library so that tells you all you need to know.

Locklands by Robert Jackson Bennet ⭐⭐⭐- Not my favorite of the trilogy, but LOOK AT ME FINISHING A SERIES! This actually made me Hate Clef, and there wasn't a whole lot of scriving going on which is what I really enjoyed about the first two. Still, a decent enough ending to the series, though the epilogue kept me from hating it outright.

Reading goals for May are read and annotate a book for a friend (in progress), Moon over Soho, and System Collapse. I am behind on my bullet journal so I'd like to catch up on that too. I have a few sewing projects to attend to, and a few long term crocheting projects to work on as well. Birthday was lowkey and fun, friends have sent me lovely gifts! And of course, at some point, I will start BG3 and liveblog the progress. Yall will not be spared. Happy May! <3

New Blaze hc is that she buys Snowfall and her siblings these same little precious moments figurines of like, little sad seals and other animals annually for some reason. Snowfall isn't sure why and Blaze has done this ever since she came to the ice kingdom. Snowfall can only think it's because she mentioned she felt bad for seals one time and didn't want to eat them as a dragonet and now she has shelves of these things. Blaze thinks they're the cutest things ever and Snowfall doesn't have the heart to tell her not to do it anymore. Mink loves them though and it got her on a rebellious streak of not eating whatever animal she got a figure of that year.

alchemist nica??? sitting and waiting,

oh no. I tend to get a bit embarrassed when ppl with objectively better writing skills are interested in what I'm doing. :') but, alchemist Nica is a part of my supernatural/mostly werewolf AU, Abomination.

long story short Nica would dabble in alchemy/be interested in magic in college and would gain a resentment towards werewolves when one kills her entire family and sets to begin hunting and killing them for like, closure I suppose, using her knowledge in magic and the supernatural to get the upper hand in doing so, which in turn is how she inevitably runs into Kyle and Andy (they're both monster hunters but Andy's a werewolf)

#the storys something special to me but it does admittedly need more work to make the sense i want it to #this aint the end of it but I promise our girl gets more development as it goes #im thinking of her slowly crossing into witch territory as she begins to use darker magic #hoping to connect her with Tiffany somehow very soon. theres a lot more to this story if u have questions #asks #apologies if this answer is disappointing. but i like to keep things short to avoid overexplaining. ill be happy to answer any more question

Honestly, despite how much I love getting asks like this, they always surprise me! It's still such a foreign concept that people not only enjoy my work, but are actively curious about it!

Aghagh and to answer the actual question, yes I do! I usually have at least 10 different prompts sitting in my google docs, but I find I have less WIPS since I'm a fairly 'get going on it and finish it in one - three goes' type of writer. Recently been a bit burned out of my hyperfixations, and finding it a bit hard to just write things (perfectionism kicking in).

That said, I actually have two started! One that's almost finished part one of two (A m/agnus a/rchives fic, two different focuses for the different chapters of snzdom~) and one that's been started, and is abouuuttt halfway done I think~ (A c/huuya centric fic as a so... sooooo late birthday gift for the amazing Hachii, which is turning into a new years/christmas thing too agghh ;-;)

Hfkshfks well I was rereading ITNL to get back into it and vibing and then I had some intense fuckin deadlines for school so I haven't gotten back to it Just yet hfkshfm

Perhaps have gotten a little distracted reading the smut fic I have posted and thinking about writing the sequel one-shot to it. Just for a little low pressure fun writing. Get back in the groove of writing lol. Also I got into a real vashwood mood that ITNL won't be indulging for a while hfkshfkd so. Brain wants to make them squirm. You know.

Anyways even if I do end up writing that next one shot I don't think it'll keep me from ITNL for tooooo long? I was definitely vibing with it when I was reading it. I just need to get that drive for violence back and also get to a point where I don't have a bunch of deadlines hanging over my head jfshdmd (bc I am still not outta the woods on that yet 😭😭😭) but AFTERWARDS... hopefully I'll be getting to it before too long.

The good news is I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday to hopefully get adhd meds and IF THEY WORK, well I hope they can unlock an increased productivity never before seen in me. Or well I guess I can't say that given my 70k words in 3 weeks super hyperfixation back in 2020 but OTHER THAN THAT... productivity for the Current me at least.

That + the fact that the next few chapters of ITNL will be very exciting for me... once I start writing I think I'll be writing a Lot... I just need a little bit longer to get there......
