Ranking the Ace Attorney main cast on whether or not I think they'd be a narc
I was making a more coherent, serious post about the different approaches to justice each of the characters have and how that is shaped by their backstory... and then I realized a funnier question is what they would do if they saw you eating a weed brownie so I made this post instead
Phoenix: In the trilogy era, yes. He trusts people, but believes that trust has to be built on pursuing justice and always accepting the harsh reality. He'd be sad about it, but a narc nonetheless. In his Beanix era he's making his money through "totally legal gambling" and on the hunt for questionably legal evidence so I have no doubt in my mind there's a pot farm under the WAA for supplemental income. He gives up his narc ways and for that I salute him
Apollo: If I were to pick a single member of this cast who is NOT invited to the rotation it would be him. He had zero hesitation throwing Kristoph to the wolves after working for him for years so I know he has absolutely zero qualms about ratting out his friends or coworkers. Loyalty means nothing in the eyes of justice and it means nothing to him. He's a narc.
Athena: She's gonna lecture you and look all sad about it, but she's no snitch. She's been through the rounds with Simon so she gets it. Having to know you hurt her feelings is enough of a punishment in her eyes
Edgeworth: He's not a narc but he IS obsessed with being right, so if you don't immediately fess up with exactly what you're doing he's going to send your stoned ass to the chess dimension and honestly I think that's worse
Franziska: Unfortunately she is a cop. Narc.
Godot: Diego-era yeah he's a narc, but after the coma? I feel like he has better things to worry about, he would just ignore you. He has some soul searching to do and some grief complexes to unlearn he doesn't have the time to be a lil snitch. Post prison I think he's stoned somewhere in Kurain and chillaxing, as is his right
Klavier: Don't let his rockstar attitude fool you he's a narc and extremely annoying about it. The gavinners tour bus is dry as hell and it's all Klavier's fault. Daryan offers him a line and he gets all uppity and says "the only LINE i want you doing is the third line in the prechorus, you keep messing up the syncopation" and that's the end of that discussion
Simon: He's been in prison so he knows what's up. Not a narc. Might glare at you until you share though
Nahyuta: He's a narc and will lecture you so long about it you're tempted to turn yourself in to get out of earshot. He also never forgets and never forgives. Datz is trying to reform him but it isn't going well
Sebastian: Yes, but I think the idea of him having to turn in someone for it would make him cry so they end up comforting him instead. Kay thinks he needs to try a weed brownie
Maya: I want you to look at me and tell me she doesn't smoke weed. Not a narc
Pearl: I think if she found out that her big sister figure smoked weed she would have a heart attack. Def a narc
Trucy: I can say with absolute certainty that if you really wanted weed she could find you a dealer faster than anyone in the cast. Trucy is a magician and has grown up around a variety of people involved with some seedier institutions, she knows better than to snitch. Has not been and will never be a narc
Kay: Will help you shoplift. Not a narc
Gumshoe: A narc on principle, but would feel really bad about it and would probably let you off with a warning if you started crying or acting upset because I think he's a softie. He's not unreasonable
Ema: If you think she has even the tiniest sliver of respect for cops you're lying to yourself. Not a narc and will actively help you evade police out of principle. A homie, honestly
Fulbright: Not only is he a narc but he definitely runs the DARE program at the local highschool and is printed on half the posters they put up in the precinct. I'm also like 80% sure he doesn't actually know how weed works

Fanfic Author Self-Recs!
@haljathefangirlcat tagged me to rec five of my own fanfics with you all — thank you, friend! 💖 I've tried to go with a variety of different fandoms and have mostly focused on older works. I also purposely haven't recommended any of my Dragon Age works as I feel DA has been occupying a lot of my brain space lately, and I wanted to give some of the spotlight to my other fannish interests! I'm gonna tag @mxanigel, @barbex, @joiningthefandomeightyearslate, @chocochipbiscuit and @fandomn00blr to share five of their works with us (if you so desire!) Without any further ado, I present my self-recs: 1. Retrospect - Mass Effect: Andromeda - Alec Ryder/Ellen Ryder (10k, rated M)
They say your life flashes before your eyes before you die and he's about to find out just how right they are.
A series of vignettes exploring Alec Ryder's relationships with his nearest and dearest, and the faltering steps he took to bridge the gaps between them.
Every time any sort of self-recommendation meme comes up, Retrospect is always the first fic that comes to mind. To this day, I still consider it my magnum opus, as I feel it really captures my strengths as an author. Character study of a morally grey, controversial character? Check. Non-linear narrative? Check. Experimental prose? Check. Vignettes? Check. Themes of family and struggling to fit in? Check check. If anyone ever wants to make my entire fucking month, please read this fic and tell me your thoughts on it. You will have my undying gratitude! 💖
2. Grounded - Mass Effect Andromeda - Calvin Kosta/Joelle Kosta (2.2k, rated M)
Calvin remembers the first time he held Liam in his arms. Big baby, nine pounds. His son is an ugly, wrinkly thing and yet also the most beautiful sight in the world. He smooths down the infant’s hair, kisses the soft spot on his head and whispers, “You’re gonna do great things." During the Reaper War, Calvin Kosta reflects on his relationship with his son.
This fic did really well on Tumblr (one of the few times I'd ever gotten over 100 notes on a post), but didn't quite get the same level of traction on AO3, which was quite interesting to me at the time as I'd never had that happen before (or since!) Honestly, it covers a lot of similar themes as Retrospect, but this time focused on Liam's family and how they deal with the Reaper War when they're left behind on Earth. IDK, I'm just obsessed with examining the human drive to live and survive, and what we struggle for, and how both our past experiences and our hopes for the future shape our actions, whether we're willing to admit it to ourselves or not.
3. Best Served Hot - Ace Attorney - Miles Edgeworth/Franziska von Karma (2k, rated E)
Franziska's gloved fingers seized Miles's jaw, digging into the sides of his face. "We were never siblings," she said. "Papa made sure of that. But if I can't best you in any other way, then I will have this."
If Retrospect is my ultimate magnum opus, then Best Served Hot is my franmiles manifesto. It truly is all of my feelings about this complicated and messy relationship dynamic carefully distilled into a fanfic! Anyway, I'm obsessed with the fact that Franziska regularly refers to Miles as her little brother, but Miles never refers to her as his sister.
However, the way that Miles acts with Franziska is SO sibling-like, whereas Franziska's a bit... weirder. She never really had normal familial relationships modeled to her (Miles, on the other hand, at least had something of a normal upbringing before his father's death).
Franziska is also a character who, for lack of a better term, weaponises her femininity. She's so young but she's built this whole aesthetic around tight miniskirts and kitten-heeled boots and carrying and using a fucking bullwhip. So, I 'm particularly fascinated by the cross-section of Franziska's obsession with Miles Edgeworth and her insecurities (and how she over-compensates for them).
Of course, if she stopped to think about it for a minute, she should have realised that Miles Edgeworth is perhaps not the ideal target for her feminine wiles, but Franziska's not exactly known for keeping a cool head in a crisis.
Finally, this fic also explores another point in Franziska's life that I'm fascinated by, which is her reaction to Phoenix Wright's disbarment. Phoenix is the only lawyer who has ever bested her (if she can even admit that much), and I think she would be INFURIATED by the insinuation that he owes his career success to forgery. Franziska von Karma would NOT be bested by a fraud! (And also she would be furious that Klavier Gavin got the chance to do what she's always wanted to do -- that is, defeat Phoenix Wright -- but that's a topic for another fanfic.)
4. Intermission - Crazy Ex-Girlfriend - Audra Levine/Greg Serrano (2.3k, rated T.)
Recently divorced Audra Levine visits West Covina to provide moral support during her frenemy’s open mic night. Greg has always had a type.
While gregaudra (graudra?) might be something of a random ship, I was really surprised by how well they worked together (although in hindsight, it should have been obvious -- Greg really has a type, huh). I love Audra as a character, and I'm always obsessed with giving her room to grow and move on as a character and determine the shape of her own life, the way she wants, much as Rebecca (and Greg) got to do in the course of the series. (Also, its sequel, Realization, still has one of my favourite lines I think I've ever written: Audra's been busy filing away the parts of her life that don’t spark joy while retaining the parts that do, like she’s Marie Kondo-ing the weight and burden of everyone’s expectations instead of her household possessions.
I so rarely write in contemporary fandoms that it was a fun exercise to write stories where the popculture references actually help ground it in time and place.)
5. Sink or Swim - Harry Potter - Percy Weasley/Oliver Wood (12k, rated T.)
Percy has always struggled to keep his head above water.
(Or: the story of Percy Weasley, from his youth, through to his estrangement with his family, to the end of the war.)
It feels weird to be recommending HP fic in this day and age, but my complicated* feelings towards the fandom aside, I'm still really proud of how this fanfic turned out and how I was able to cram all of my Percy Weasley analysis into a coherent story. I particularly loved delving into how Percy was pushed into positions of responsibility from a young age (and then simultaneously derided for the very same qualities his parents reinforced), and how he struggled with his conflicting desires to fit in but also to succeed and be recognised for his talents and efforts. There's a couple of sentences from the fic which really encapsulate how I see Percy's relationship to his family, which I'll quote here:
In bits and pieces, Percy tells Oliver all about the estrangement to his family: how he’d always gotten along with his dad best growing up, no matter how his mother had doted on him. How when he was younger, he’d wanted nothing more than to be the next Arthur Weasley. How he’d always thought that his dad deserved more.
How it was easier to blame his father’s idiosyncrasies and personality for his family’s struggles with money, than to acknowledge it as a failure of the society he’d been raised in.
How he’d foolishly thought that if he studied enough, worked enough, succeeded enough, he could change it all.
Percy's story really is that of every working-class child who's sought to improve their life (and their family's life) through education and I just... relate to that a lot!!

Okay dump time:
So obviously, as in my previous post miles is an Oread and Phoenix is a fire spirit/elemental. Here’s what I would assign the rest of the cast:
The fey family: quite conflicted here, I don’t think their speciation is all the same because you know, different fathers n stuff. But the bottom line is: if they could channel in the games, or were actively a part of the clan, they are at least part witch/magic users. They occupy a role as heralds and enforcers between the spirits of the dead and the living. I decided that in this AU;
-Mia and Maya are half-elves because of course.
-I think Pearl is half nereid, because to me that makes sense for her.
-Dahlia and Iris were half-kitsunes, both with very different outlooks on life and definitions of “mischief”. Iris’ magic wasn’t nearly as strong as Dalia’s though.
-Morgan and Misty were regular human magic users. (The fey clan only recently started to approve of interspecies marriages as human population in their village was steadily declining)
The Fey clan was frequently sought out to treat magic-related ailments until recent modern medicine came about.
Everyone else:
-Gumshoe is absolutely a werewolf. He big. He clumsy. He goofy. He an awkward big dog man.
- Larry, because he’s always chasing after a pretty face, is a satyr.
-Kay: She is so a Fae. The fae mischief energy is strong with this one.
-the Von Karmas: they’re both demons, but demons of different cardinal sins. Manfred was a demon of pride, Franziska is a demon of wrath. Miles doesn’t care for his title as demon prosecutor because a: the press just assumed he was a demon by association and while he likes to feel connected to the Von karmas early in his career, he feels like he’s also lost that connection to his dad. That makes him feel guilty. Because B: when Franziska comes on to the legal scene it just makes shit confusing. What would they call them both? “The demon prosecutor” and “the ACTUAL demon prosecutor”? Moreover, when people found out she used a whip and immediately started calling her a “succubus dominatrix” (considered insulting to female demons who aren’t actually succubi) in the news? Miles bout near lost his shit that’s his little sister bro. Also being a demon doesn’t make someone inherently evil, and the press demonized Miles through that nickname. Imagine. You’re hated and called mean things for something you’re literally not. This is why Miles prefers his more “standard” form these days. He looks less like a weird demon and more like an oread, which he is.
-Trucy and Apollo: Aurorae, or wind nymphs. They take after their mom in that regard. Wind nymphs can fly and turn themselves into wind and reappear elsewhere. They’re extremely light beings. They do have wings to reflect birds and other sky dwelling creatures. Apollo I chose to be one because of the myth of Echo, I just imagine he’s like the wind of a hurricane, just so fucking loud and forceful without realizing it. Trucy more because her ability to disappear and reappear makes her excellent at magic tricks and deception. Also they’re hypersensitive to air movements and slight electrical charges, which is how perceive works for them.
-Athena: I wanted to make her a Raiju at first (lighting yokai) but those usually take the forms of dogs, so I figure maybe she’s a venti (Roman storm spirit). She’s sensitive to electrical fields, even more so than Apollo and Trucy, and as a result can not only hear peoples emotions with a heightened sense of hearing (she hears the charge and nature of the electrical fields) , she can sense them quite accurately too. Venti in some myths can take the shape of horses or storm clouds, but I think she’s just very electrically charged, and can summon or control small storms or electricity. (On top of the aforementioned powers). She’s also quite loud too, but not as consistently loud as Apollo is.
-Blackquill: this motherfucker is an Oni. What else do you want from me? He acts like a samurai haunted by some terrible misdeeds even after he’s proven innocent. He’s an Oni. 100% an Oni.
-Maggie Byrde: she’s a harpy. She has the lower half of a bird and wings. She’s a very clumsy flier.
-Will powers: Giant/jotunn. He’s a big lad. Gentle giant, anyone?
-Dee Vasquez: oh she’s SO a Gorgon. The headscarf thing? The femme fatale allure? Dark and mysterious? Gorgon. Absolutely a gorgon. She’d rock a pair of black aviators too.
-Lana and Emma skye: sphinxes. Lana being the kind to dish out riddles and justice, Emma being a bubbly cub until later when she becomes bitter and sardonic.
-The Judge: he’s a centaur. An old ass centaur. Some of them are supposedly wise, he’s just bad at his job.
-The Gavin brothers: Sirens. They have gills, claws, webbed hands, scales, etc. they also can shift into an aquatic form with a tail, and have alluring voices they can use for charm magic. Klavier uses his for musical talent, Kristoph uses his for manipulation. (So surprising, that.)
-Sebby: he’s a water elemental. He’s so turbulent, it reminds me of swirling water. He’s made of water, can control water, has an elemental core like Phoenix does, and hydration is extremely important for him or he will dry out and that’s no bueno. Overheating is also a serious problem because he could boil himself alive, or freeze himself solid if he’s too upset. His dad hates him for his delicate chemistry. (I still want to ring Blaise’s neck, can’t you tell?)
-Damon Gant and Tigre furrio are both malicious imps.
-Cody hackins is a kappa (mischievous Japanese water spirit with a turtle shell).
-Matt engarde is so a bitchy asshole vampire. Get staked through the heart, loser.
I’ll probably add more as I think of them.
But this is what I’ve got for now!
(Sorry this took so damn long, I fell asleep the first round of writing and then of course got busy with other things in between.)
Gimme fantasy au info in exchange for my fantasy/siren au infodump

MilesKaySwap Franziska, what do you think of your little brother and his friends?
“He needs to learn German faster.”  She pouts, scuffing her feet on the floor.  “But I suppose that, as his big sister, I should be better at teaching him.  English is fine, but I like German better.”  It’s more familiar.
“I’m not used to the quiet.  I’ve read all about trauma and trauma responses because a prosecutor needs to be able to talk to anyone without hurting them further, but I just get… nervous when things are too quiet.  I’m not sure why.  But that’s not his fault! And I know he’s mute and can hear just fine, but I do like talking and signing because moving my hands makes me feel less anxious.”
“I also get to tell him so many stories!  I’ve never had anyone to tell fairy tales too before and it makes me happy that they make him feel better after a nightmare.”

Interlude: Nothing Like Us
(TW for abuse!)
Some days, Franziska wondered whether Sascha was her sister at all.
Despite growing up together, she acted so unlike a von Karma. Yes, she grew righteously indignant the way Franziska did whenever she lost their competitions, but her lip would tremble and her eyes would water in a fashion that was entirely unacceptable. Franziska often took to chastising her in the hopes she would compose herself before Papa saw her, and when that failed, her riding crop was utilized as discipline. It was far kinder than what Papa would do if he ever saw Sascha cry.
She'd seen that happen, once. Her sister had been playing with her, a game she was unfamiliar with. She must have brought it back from America - Papa said Sascha had spent some time in America with him and they had to come home because she'd gotten sick, that was why Franziska didn't remember her - and it was much more fun than the quiet card games and board games they were permitted to play every so often. Hide and go seek, Sascha called it, and it was great fun taking turns finding hiding places in their enormous house until Franziska slipped trying to climb a counter and brought a vase down with her.
Sascha had come running as soon as she heard the crash, and no sooner had she asked if Franziska was alright than their papa had entered the room. He had taken one look at the mess and turned a terrifying face upon Franziska's sister, and Sascha froze in place.
Franziska had heard Papa yell before, but she had always remained composed, because that was what was expected of a von Karma. Sascha, however, shrank away, tears rolling down her face as she apologized, begging for mercy.
It was very unlike a von Karma, and Franziska watched as Papa grabbed her arm and pulled her away, as Sascha screamed and wailed.
She still cried after that, but never nearly as loud as she used to.
Franziska and Sascha shared a room, which meant she could hear whenever her sister awoke in the middle of the night, gasping for breath and mumbling in a language she still had yet to fully grasp.
"Quiet, or Papa will hear you," Franziska would hiss, and that would usually make Sascha fall silent.
It was behavior so much unlike a von Karma, and some days Franziska wondered whether Sascha was one at all.
But it didn't stop her from getting out of bed when the usual reprimand didn't silence her sister one night. She settled onto Sascha's mattress and folded her arms, tilting her chin up.
"Why are you crying, sister?"
"Bad... bad dream," Sascha whimpered, sounding absolutely pitiful and nothing like how a von Karma should.
"Hmph. What is so bad about a dream?"
"I-It h-h-hurts," Sascha stammered, scratching at her side. Franziska had seen the birthmark there a few times, an odd little indent shaped a little like a star. Sascha gripped it a lot when she was nervous, which was often. Another un-von Karma-like trait.
"That is ridiculous. Dreams cannot hurt you. They aren't real."
"It feels like it, though." Strange, mismatched eyes gazed sadly at her in the darkness. "It hurts, and I'm scared."
Franziska huffed. "Why are you scared when I am here?"
Her sister sniffed. "H... Huh?"
"I will protect you from harm, obviously!" If she had her riding crop, she would snap it, but her hands were empty, so slamming her fist down into her open hand would have to do. "You are my sister. To think you would be unsafe in my presence is foolish!"
Sascha wiped her eyes and laughed quietly. "You're my little sister. I'm supposed to be the one protecting you."
"Then I shall be the big sister from now on!"
She stared at Franziska, and then her face screwed up with that expression that meant she was going to cry. "Ziska..."
"Don't you dare cry, little sister!" Franziska said sternly, throwing an arm out and jabbing Sascha in the nose. Sascha flinched. "I'm keeping you safe, so there is no more need for those foolish tears of yours!"
Sascha laughed again, but it sounded like a sob. "Ha... ha... th-thank you, Ziska... I'll try to remember that..."
She still cried, even though she tried very hard not to. Franziska felt reluctant to boast her victories over Sascha when she acted like that. So she told her to stop, and Sascha would try, but it would take a long time without some kind of distraction.
Franziska always told her off for being unable to control herself, but it never stopped her from leading Sascha to the gardens or the library or the kitchen to find a new activity to stem her tears. Sascha would smile, then, wide and bright, another something far too unfit for a von Karma.
Franziska was almost certain some days that Sascha never had been, and never would be, her father's daughter.
But she had decided Sascha was her little sister, and that made her a von Karma, no matter how weak.

Dear Tony,
Well, this is odd...  I just found this letter at the bottom of the queue, and I can’t remember if it’s been answered or not, so...  Guess I’ll play it safe and answer it here just in case.
Tumblr media
I remember reading about Ema being the original protagonist of Ace Attorney Investigations, and while I loved seeing Edgeworth take center stage and use his deductive skills for good, a game about Ema sounds like it would be fantastic.  She’s got all the intelligence, spunk, and charm a main character needs, plus she’s equipped with all sorts of scientific gadgets and know-how that would make for some potentially fun gameplay (as evidenced in previous and current Ace Attorney games).
It’d also be great to see what her personal life is like -- her inner monologues, her relationship with her sister, and how her love of science shapes her life and her career.  Not to mention how her Snackoo addiction began -- that’s the real mystery.
Tumblr media
It might not be the same as a standard Ace Attorney title, but then again, neither was AAI or AAI2, so if Capcom ever got the idea to let Ema have her moment in the spotlight some day, I’d be first in line to buy that game!
Actually, I’d probably just download it, but you get the idea.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Previous Letter)
Dear Inferno,
We could, but it seems like there wouldn’t be much point, considering you can just find those letters by searching for “Inferno.”
Also, SHHHHHHHHHH!!  What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media

(Link in Letter -- It’s loud)
Dear Mothmouth,
Yeah, I know...  That was mostly just wishful thinking.  Maybe someday we’ll see some fans put together a patch for those of us in the West who want to experience The Great Ace Attorney for themselves (heck, I’d join them if it happened), but we’ll probably just have to be satisfied with the YouTube videos with so-so English subtitles in the meantime.  It’s a shame, considering how much incredible content it holds in terms of plot, music, animation, and more, but you can’t always get what you want.
Tumblr media
And yes, as we all know, some of the greatest stuff in the world comes from Japan, not the least of which is great video games.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Link in Letter)
Dear Kuro Majin,
Niiiiice!  The attention to detail in each of these is very impressive -- especially the symbol on Mimi’s shirt.  These get a Seal of Approval from me!
Tumblr media
I hadn’t really thought about why none of the culprits are given any lines during the end credits.  My guess is that Capcom wasn’t able to find enough space for them in the credits, plus they probably wouldn’t have anything very interesting to say.  On the other hand, it might have been nice to hear one last “Zvarri!” from Luke Atmey.
Tumblr media
Dear Anonymous,
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dear rogertheegg,
I haven’t, actually.  All I really know about it is the “I don’t feel so good” meme.  In fact, I just recently watched the part of the video that it came from.
But, seeing as how Phoenix and Maya already have some experience in hand-to-hand combat in the Marvel universe, I can imagine them handling themselves pretty well.  Edgeworth and Gumshoe would probably fine with the former’s brains and the latter’s brawn, and Athena could easily defend herself by using Apollo as a shield.
As for the side characters...well, they’d either have to join forces with the main ones or try to fend for themselves.  It’d be interesting to see how certain pairs of rivals (i.e. Phoenix and Franziska, Kay and Calisto, etc.) would react to being forced to work together, but that’s one of the greatest tests of humanity -- whether or not a person can put aside their hatred of someone long enough to save their life.  I know I’d pay to watch it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Links in Letter)
Dear Bagadew,
Thanks for taking a crack at this.  You obviously have a lot more patience and curiosity than I do when it comes to decoding things.  As iamnotthensa commented, they mistyped some of the dashes, so the message was incorrect to begin with.  It was supposed to say something along the lines of “ur owner’s a big doof.”
Sorry you had to spend so much of your time trying to figure this out, but hey, at least you learned some things along the way.  Way to be!
Tumblr media
Dear Afool Ishdud,
My favorite defense attorney is, and likely always will be, Athena Cykes.  When it comes to spunk, charm, and having muchos frijoles, she’s got it all.
Tumblr media
Not to mention she’s multilingual.  That’s a plus.
My favorite prosecutor is Miles Edgeworth, mostly because of the gradual transformation he makes from "a ruthless man who would do anything to get a guilty verdict” to a hero of justice whose accomplishments rival those of the man who saved him.  Plus he always seems to have a cool, confident attitude no matter what situation he finds himself in.
Tumblr media
He would’ve made a great protagonist from the beginning, but knowing his history as a corrupted prosecutor makes all the more satisfying to see him use his powers for good.
Tumblr media
(Previous Letter)
Dear Ethan Starbright,
I don’t blame you.  It’s both cute and addictive as a puzzle game.  I might have become an addict myself if I...y’know...
...had a smartphone...
Tumblr media
(Video in Letter)
Dear kuromajinevil again,
Godot, Luke Atmey, and the Hawthorne twins in full anime detail?
Tumblr media
Sign me up.
I imagine it won’t be quite the same as the game, but if the music, art, and story are anywhere near as great as they were back then, consider me invested.

If they had a kid: Ranka & Franziska
Name: Aido Fujioka-Von Karma
Gender: Male
General appearance: Auburn hair, but with blue highlights.  Brown eyes.  The same face shape of his mother, but the loveliness of his father.  Keeps his hair at chin length.  Tall and lanky, but still fairly full figured.  A healthy individual.  He has his mother’s fashion sense, enjoying business ware, even in casual situations.
Personality:  Soft spoken, but persistent.  Nice, but demanding.  He knows how to get the job done in the most fair way possible.
Special Talents:  They have a surprisingly good sense of direction.
Who they like better:  Ryoji.  Mom is scary
Who they take after more:  Franziska, however.  He is every bit the prosecutor his mother is.
Personal headcanon:  His debut as a prosecutor is quite a shock.  His sister (whose profile is coming later) is always seen as the heir to the Von Karma title.  When he steps on the courtroom floor--and wins his first case--everyone is amazed.
Face Claim: T.O.P. from Big Bang.
