Had no thoughts about prowl. the majority of the fandom thinks he's an asshole and they either hate him for it or love him for it.

So I read the entire wreckers saga for Verity initially, but you know what? Prowl really stood out to me. I wanted to see more of him, so I read the issues he was in and I truly don't understand where the whole "prowl is an asshole" came from, yes he does some bad stuff (so does everyone else) but i interpreted this as a means to an end.. i think he's always thinking about the future and the end of the war, and his actions reflect that. I'm pretty sure he even mentioned that he "has to make tough decisions for a better tomorrow" but don't quote me on that

I think trying to moralize anyone in the IDW comics is a bad idea LOL, love them as they are (￣ー￣)ｂ

I find it really interesting how prowl is like.. public enemy #1 in the fandom when there are others who are worse and get so much love. LIKE RODIMUS OH MY GOD DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED. He annoyed me so much while reading MTMTE. Seriously, the way everyone babygirl-ifies him and never talks about his wrongs, you'd swear rodimus is a pretty decent guy. He's infuriating, painfully immature, and egotistical, and those traits get people killed. Like at some point, he ignores advice from ultra magnus because he's petty, and it ends up a disaster... I'm not even gonna touch on his horrible friendship with drift.

I dunno how this turned into a rodimus rant (；ω；) BUT ANYWAY!! prowl is pretty incredible, and i didn't know for such a long time because of the fandom's mischaracterization of him.

indeed, if you just read the material, you'll see that prowl is wildly misinterpreted and exaggerated by the fandom. personally i like rodimus, but what you said is true. almost every character in IDW has committed terrible crimes, but those get excused or overlooked way more than prowl's do. prowl supposedly being the biggest war criminal in the story is a joke that gets boring really quickly.

its most likely about more than just his actions, though. i think prowl's personality puts people off. like hes a bit too unfriendly, not cute or quirky enough. but i like prowl, he's one of the few i can actually tolerate. but i guess thats just not the popular opinion. really, though, i think people that genuinely think prowl is an asshole are annoying. we probably wouldnt get along irl.

personality aside, i genuinely think prowl is an incredibly admirable character. he's like the anti-hero to me. it's clearly shown in his actions and motivations. far from the antagonist that some people claim he is.

9. how much time do you spend drawing on an average day?

well i have a lot of free time babysitting my 8 yo cousin so i draw almost everyday... typically 3 hours on average ! mainly scribbling on my notebook then drawing over that digitally (￣ー￣)ｂ

13. do you prefer to keep your art personal, or do you like drawing things for other people?

prefer a mix of both! some of my more personal ones i keep to myself except for a few oc art if that counts, otherwise i'm too embarrassed to share (T_T).. i'm gonna sound cheesy but i do enjoy reading people's comments and tags whenever i post fanart from media or draw their own characters, it's nice and means a whole lot connecting with people through art on internet spaces gahhhh (/_;)/~~

15. how long does an average piece take you to complete?

generally 2-3 hrs for a colored sketch, 4-6 for a detailed piece, and if i get freaky maybe even 8-10 hrs though it's entirely dependent on if i like the piece enough ! after watching samurai jack it made me want to take a more ambitious step with art and push myself further into doing studies in anatomy, expressions, and ESPECIALLY backgrounds <(^-^;)>

I think Kaito has more of a resemblance to Matsuda Jinpei than Kudou Shinichi, they can bond over complicated relationships with the police. Maybe on Chikage's side of the family, as she has a Japanese given name (I know she could have given herself one when she married Touichi and moved to Japan but she really didn't have to) despite seeming to be French so maybe she has estranged relatives in Japan - a valid reason to not be in contact with a grieving young family member who is otherwise quite alone - as Kaito looks more like his mother than his father to me too. It would also connect him to Zero, like Conan has Akai Shuuichi/Okiya Subaru since Gosho loves parallels between them and can't decide to what extent Zero is on Conan's side but Kid and Zero definitely had chemistry. Satou Miwako likes Kid too, which is worth mentioning.

Let the Kudou and Kuroba telepathic connection exist without blood ties, seriously I thought introducing Okita Soushi was confirmation that Shinichi just has 'one of those faces' so dopplegangers aplenty for him. It's very helpful for keeping Shinichi a secret and giving Kaito disguise flexibility, Okita also got the cute Ran interested in him based on their resemblance so everyone wins. Gosho you have too many characters in too many series to not have a case of same-face syndrome, it happens no need to force canon relations or are the Kurobas and Kudous related to the samurai family of the Okitas? What about Aoko and Ran's resemblance, are they long lost relatives too now?

IN MY DEFENSE! i think the kid is actually 12, not 10. you'd think i would know these things, as his english teacher, but this class isn't the proper ESL class, so their grade isn't actually tied to the level of material they learn. 💀
