So, I got bored, and I decided to get the book known as Batman: Mad Hatter's Movie Madness to check out and read for some inspiration and I just -

I think a big problem with hmc book content at Tiktok (and also almost every social that is not this hellsite including twitter), is that how movie-centred it still remains. No negativity to movie fans, certainly, it's just the movie and the book are two very different stories, and when I search for hmc book content I want to have well, hmc book content.

Instead of that almost 80% you got are "book versus movie" or "did you know a Howl's Moving Castle is based on a BOOK??" type of videos, mostly targeted specifically on the movie hmc fans to know more "fan facts" about the book, which is, usually, a pretty basic information for anyone who read the said book at least once. Yes, I know that Howl is Welsh. Yes, I know Sophie is a Witch. Yes, I know she has two sisters. Yes, I know Howell Jenkins is a little pathetic idiot.

It's like none of these stuff is actually targeted on an actual book hmc fanbase, and builds everything around it on a movie comparison, instead of, well, making stuff about the book? It would be plausible If movie and the book were similar, like H*rry Potter movies, for example, but they're NOT. The stories are so different they can and should exist as pretty much separate entities.

And all of the wonderful videos targeted on book fans with an actual content for book fans that is NOT "did you know in the book.." kinda gets lost in the sea of the other contentmakers. It's extremely difficult to find a hmc book video that doesn't mentions the hmc movie even once and it's not BAD but it feels like you cannot actually have a content made for you.

I can hardly find memes, or headcanons, or funny videos that are not just repeating the information I already know for like five years.

It's like having a star younger sibling that gets brings up in the every conversation about you and you cannot stop it.

thank you very much for askign!! since last time i just said jervis facts, i suppose this will be jonathans turn ::3 - He grew up on a farm in Georgia. Although he absolutely hated it and has tried to get rid of any signs he ever lived there - even training himself out of his accent - he has retained a fondness for horses. - When I say he 'trained himself out of his accent', he wasn't actually completely successful. It still comes back every now and then, mostly when he's stressed or scared but there are also a few specific words he struggles with - He has several pet corvids which he has trained to help with his crimes in various ways. Though he wouldn't admit it, he dotes on them terribly. Very spoiled birds - He was raised by his father and grandmother, who he then later murdered with his bare hands. Whoopsies - His scarecrow costume has gone through lots of iterations, and each one has been hand made. He is constantly trying to push himself, trying to be the absolute best at spreading fear that he can be, so revisions and changes are frequent. While his initial self-taught style of sewing was very rough and not exactly effective, since befriending Jervis - who is far more accomplished at sewing - he has been able to significantly increase his costume's durability - His look changing a lot helps further the Scarecrow's very cryptid-esque reputation. Despite Jonathan being unmasked multiple times and his history as a regular professor being widely known, rumors about him persist. Jonathan is delighted whenever he hears a new one - He has trained himself to use both scythes and sickles as weapons, and designed his very own scythe, which can collapse for easy transportation - And last one! He has a near insatiable sweet tooth. Jervis does as well but refuses to kiss him after he's had candy corn. Tetch finds it absolutely disgusting

Luckily for you, I am in a good mood to provide you with an answer. Firstly, Jonathan and I have a mutual friend very dear to us, Waylon Jones, otherwise known as Killer Croc. Comes as a surprise, doesn't it? Moving on, there would be fellow intellectuals I quite enjoy the company of, such as Calendar Man, Clock King and King Tut. Harley is also a friend of both myself and Jonathan, despite me continously making efforts to wipe her clown boyfriend off the face of the earth. I have Jon and Pamela to thank for that. Speaking of Poison Ivy, we're sort of on good terms with her, but I wouldn't consider her a friend.
