working on choreography is fun, for the most part. jay didn't do enough of that in the previous mission, as much as he wanted to. then again, there was already so much going on with the concept they had, putting too much into the choreography might've been overkill. this time around though, his new team agreed on a dance break as their intro. he thinks it fits the theme, as long as they keep the choreography fun and... bouncy, for a lack of a better term.
another thing that's funny is being put in the same team as someone who was technically his opponent in the episode prior, like @bexstevie. jay isn't bitter—not really—because his team got compliments too, but still. he isn't one to dimiss someone else's talents when it's right there in front of his face. stevie is good at what he does, a capable dancer too.
"so the point of this dance break is to highlight jiayi as the one everyone has a crush on, right?" he starts, recalling their discussion when brainstorming for the concept. "i'm guessing she'll take the center spot during the introduction, then? that'd make the most sense. like we're introducing her to the audience."

Spark Plug
written for the August @steddiemicrofic prompt 'plug' !
wc: 437 | rated: M | cw: none | tags: Female steddie, modern au, chubby Steve Harrington, mechanic Eddie Munson
⋆ ˚。⋆౨ৎ˚
Eddie bursts into their apartment, already starting her rant as she kicks her work boots off. ‘That annoying fuckin’ spark plug still hasn’t come for the Sedan!’ She stomps through to dump her lunchbox in the sink.
‘And the customer insisted I put him on hold so he could talk to Jack. Can’t believe UPS is shitty if I say it, but if another dick swinger comes on and does it’s all - oh I know! What has the county come too! Fuckin’ prick.’ Eddie’s rant ends and her feet have taken her through to the couch, where Stevie is splayed out.
Splayed out with a bowl of popcorn on her belly, in her little bicycle shorts and sports bra, which means she must’ve taken a walk around the block. And Eddie curses mentally for having missed it - always relishing in holding her girlfriend’s hand, taking little side on glances to watch her chest move while she walks.
‘That’s so shit babe.’ Stevie says, half earnest pout, half distracted, and Eddie watches as her eyes trail down, taking in the overalls and white, oil stained vest that she always comes home in. Eddie smirks.
‘Yeah.’ Eddie sighs, resting a ringed hand on the knotted sleeves by her crotch. ‘Enough about that though, what’re you up to princess?’ And Eddie’s smirk grows - Stevie’s eyes on her fingers, swallowing thickly.
‘Watching House.’ She replies eventually and Eddie hums for her to keep going as she walks away. ‘Guess how many laws he broke last ep.’
‘I don’t know sweetheart.’ Eddie calls, drinking a glass of water and washing the grease from her fingers.
‘Like 4!’ Stevie says, giggling.
Eddie laughs and plops down on the couch, stealing a handful of popcorn and taking in her pretty girlfriend. She’s soft and round in so many places it makes some slightly feral part of Eddie want breed her (and they have their strap, they could play pretend.) So Eddie can’t help trailing a finger over tanned thighs, snapping the material of her shorts. Moving higher and pressing her fingers into the little roll they make at Stevie’s waist. She pulls at them, Stevie gasping slightly as Eddie tugs the shorts down across her ass, manoeuvring them until her thighs are trapped together, her knees bent.
Eddie strokes her fingers over the course hair of Stevie’s pubes, seeking out the wetness she knows she’ll find. Her fingers and hands are thick and strong from manual labour, from messing around with cars all day every day. They’re so perfect for filling her baby up, stretching her out.
‘Oh, fuck.’ Stevie whimpers.

Autistic Eddie
Disclaimer: these are just headcanons, obviously every autistic individual is different. Also, if you're an ableist just go away, this is obviously not for you
Main Masterlist
Eddie Masterlist
- Hates change of plans - for proof you have season 4 ep 1 when Dustin tells him to postpone Hellfire club.
- He's weird, he knows it and doesn't give a f about it - doesn't care about not fitting in and takes pride in not fitting in.
- Completely shocked about Steve not fitting into the stereotype that he was taught about jocks and popular people at school.
- Applies his interests (dnd, Lord of the rings) to make decisions or comprehend reality (that's so relatable tbh)
- Avoid eye contact in most situations, especially if he's sad or upset about something, like when they found him at the boat house
- Doesn't know what personal space is (him walking with Steve in the Upside Down)
- Compliments based on special interests and will get super excited when he talks about it
- Doesn't respond to his name right away and takes a bit more time to process sounds, like when Stevie was calling him while walking through the forest in the Upside Down
- Has safe foods, like what he asked Nance and the rest to bring to him
- Has a hard time processing emotions, especially frustration
- Struggles with school but he's very intelligent in other ways, I also have this hc that he purposely fails the same course over and over because he's scared of stepping into the real world, but that might just be me.
- Sometimes, when talking to other people he knows that something's wrong but he doesn't know what to do like at all.
- Hates being touched without a warning. That's why I hate the hc where people say that he will let you touch his hair while dating or even as friends, my guy doesn't like to be touched, nope, not at all. And he will let you for a very very short period of time if he trusts you
- Happiest around his special interests, aka playing with his band and dnd.
- Very protective over his interests
- He stims all the time, usually touching his hair r his face, seriously, just watch his scenes, come back and tell me i'm right
- Can't stay still

top 5 in9 eps? :3
5. How Do You Plead?
Urban is one of my favourite in9 characters. I’m really empathetic towards him and the character he plays for his patients, and the reasons why he does it. I’m also just such a sucker for religious imagery, depictions of the devil and the classic tale of selling your soul. The atmosphere of the episode just generally really appeals to me. The gradual dimming of the lights into this green-blue darkness is just brilliant, and when Urban and Webster swap places in the lift the fluidity of that movement just itches my brain. And of course, the monologues! Love this episode!
4. Tom & Gerri
Migg is one of the scariest in9 characters to me. Steve’s performance is just so…chilling. Like Urban, Tom is another character I feel like I just get. I’ll get into it in a moment when I start talking about Diddle Diddle Dumpling, but I just am really impacted by depictions of grief and mental illness in media. Tom is one of my favourite Reece in9 performances, I just really feel for him. Also, I love Stevie’s character.
3. Cold Comfort
I love how uncomfortable this entire episode is. The camera never moves, never looks away, and in turn the viewer has to sit there and watch just as Andy has to sit there and listen. It feels hopeless. Andy is one of my favourite Steve performances + characters. All of the characters in this episode are on top of each other in this awful, cramped, emotionally charged space, yet they’re all completely disconnected and alien to one another. The only character who you feel understands the others is George, and George is…George. I’m a sucker for ambiguity and there is so much to rifle through and ponder about in this episode. Plus the sound design is so good at matching that horrible, invasive atmosphere.
2. Diddle Diddle Dumpling
I love the mise-en-scène for this episode; that sanitised, shining-esque mirroring throughout the whole house just suggests so much of what is left unsaid about David and Louise’s grief. And I do really like how little is actually said about Joseph in this episode. I’m always really invested in media where an object is so clearly representative of something else, especially when that something else is a loss or an absence of sorts. David is a very relatable character to me and I just feel so strongly for both him and Louise. What a devastating episode.
1. Wise Owl
No surprises here I don’t think! Wise Owl was the first in9 episode I ever watched, and it’s stayed my favourite unwaveringly throughout me watching the entire show. I’ve had an anxious obsession with Public Information Films ever since I was a kid - especially the fire safety ones - so having an episode modelled around them is just a narrative decision that gets me invested from the get-go. I think this episode has an entirely different feeling to it compared to the rest of the show, and I’m so happy they went with the ending that they did and I’m so happy with how Ronnie was written and performed - especially when I think about how easily they could’ve gone down a different route. Also there’s no competition in my mind for the best in9 episode ending. Such an important episode.
#i’m sorry i really struggled to put into words why each episode is a favourite#i hope this reads okay!

congrats on surviving episode three of next gen! updated rankings can be found here.
for participating in the auditions and appearing in the third episode of NEXT GEN, all wannabes who submitted their participation may collect points as outlined on this spreadsheet. points were awarded based on the writing requirements submitted and the optional extra threads. no verification is required; you may link back to this post on your spreadsheets.
for the next episode of NEXT GEN, all participants will be divided into three teams, this time with no additional splits into A or B. the three teams will be performing existing songs in the wannabe canon, one with a cute/bright concept, one with a elegant/sexy concept, and one with a teen crush concept. the winning team will receive immunity from elimination while the members of the two remaining teams will have to rely on the judges not to be sent home. the teams and their assigned songs can be found below. the teams will all be practicing in designated practice rooms at the AXIS training building. independent practice will be expected of them between lessons and participants are welcome to work together with their teams to rehearse.
note that these songs are not considered original in the wannabe universe and belong to unofficial npc senior artists.
once again, coaches are not to inform the creative process but to leave those decisions up to the contestants they’re advising. instead, they should act as mentors and answer questions and provide guidance in shaping the contestants’ visions. coaches will NOT be performing alongside the contestants this time around.
the teams and performances for episode four are as follows:

Favourite CID Era
S4-6 also includes Don't Like Monday (Tosh's family at the bank) and Ted and Roxanne's first appearance together as officer/snout
Series 7-9 inc Viv's death, Dashers guesting after leaving, Frank disappearing without warning for a mystery job and Harry Haines arriving. Danny Pearce, Jo Morgan and Alan Woods also arrive. Jo is promoted to DS after a few eps. Jack is demoted to DCI and returns as a regular rather than guesting as part of AMIP.
Series 10-13 includes Rod being rather chauvinistic to poor Suzi who becomes CID in this series. Jo returns for a guest period and is about to move back permanently before.. ahem. The Target trilogy are a particular work of art in series 11. Don arrives in series 11 when Deakin is promoted to DI after Sally goes. John Boulton arrives not long after too and finally in series 12 Geoff and Liz arrive and Alan goes and Tom Proctor brings up the rear in S13. There is a lot of Alistair and Suzi fun however as she gently teases him throughout.
Series 14-16 brings Duncan and Kerry Holmes with Tosh leaving through sad real-life happenings and Alistair transferring as does Suzi. Series 15 brings Danny Glaze and Claire Stanton as an undercover CIB agent trying to catch Don. She doesn't expect to fall in love with another CID member, however. Unfortunately, we do lose Liz in 15 but she does pop back a few times. Series 16 is a BIG CID-focused series. Rod jumps before he's pushed and the truth about Don comes out after he and John have a fight. We lose John, Don, Kerry, Claire, Geoff, Deakin, Tom, and Tom. We gain Paul Riley, Kate Spears, Vik Singh, Alex Cullen, and Debbie McAllister. A somewhat unfair exchange. Saving the best until last however for series 16 as Mickey also arrives and is at his cheeky scamp best.
Series 17-18 Near the end of series 16 we got a whole new bunch of CID after a mass exodus due to Don being revealed as a dodgy officer. To give them a chance to bed in properly, there were no cast changes to CID in series 17. The new lot featured heavily, Mickey went undercover as a rentboy for a bit and then as a football hooligan. Debbie's snout was her lover and there was quite hoo hah about him, There's a couple of guest appearances from Liz, one of which is a multi-parter that terrifies Kate Spears, Claire follows Don over to Australia to tr catch him and bring him to justice. In series 18 we lose Vik, Paul, Kate and Alex Cullen but gain Eva, Ken Drummond, Phil Hunter, Sam Nixon and Brandon. Series 18 is also the beginning of the numbered episodes and Paul Marquess...
Series 19-21: we gain Juliet for a short time before Rae gets fed up of the sexualised bisexual obsession for her storylines and we also end up with sexist arse, Rob Thatcher whilst losing Duncan, Danny and it's the first exit of Mickey too post-rape and the death of his mother over to MIT. It's not all bad, we also get Terry, Ramani and Neil. In series 20 we lose Rob when he finishes his vengeance against The Radfords by murdering Irene and being shot by CO19. We also lose Debbie and Brandon and Eva transferred to MIT. We gain Suzie in return, however. Series 21 we lose Ken in an explosion and Jim walks away after losing June and Ken. Gary who has been playing in CID for a little while gets short and transfers to the Manchester police. Jo arrives and Mickey returns from MIT. There's a mysterious newbie when Adi Mateen pretending Zain also arrives when it turns out that he's not the annoying gangster that's been buzzing round Sun Hill but has been undercover!
Series 22-24 - In series 22 we lose Ramani and Suzie, however, we gain Stuart and Kezia. THISISNOTAFAIRSWAP. Ahem. In series 23 we gain Grace and also Max at the very very end, Zain reaches the end of his tenure after being drawn to the dark side with Kristen and Phil transfers out rather suddenly as Scott appears to have jumped very quickly over to EastEnders. Series 24 welcomes Stevie and Banksy and we don't lose anyone!
Series 25-26 - I ummed and ahhed about making the last series a stand-alone selection on its own because it's a reboot but given it's only essentially half a year long and that the character changes happen in series 25 I put the two together. So, in this series we lose Jack as DCI because he becomes Superintendent. However we don't gain a new DCI, Neil just remains DI and does both jobs. Jo gets promoted but moves to uniform. Sam, Stuart and Kezia go (Could not have taken Sam being promoted to DCI!) and no one else leaves (other than Will) from CID until the very end. We have Mickey undercover as a homeless man, Max's drug problem and Mickey and Terry confronting him. Grace and Neil get together but Neil's son is diagnosed with cancer and so much more. Finally the entire station works together to nail the rapists of poor Jasmine (Respect 1-2)!
(Yep you guessed it, I meant to post this in the sierra-Oscar comm but got distracted.)

i also really like djos music. his first album is a staple for a hot summer night when you're in your bedroom. my favorites from twenty twenty are:
bnbg
just along for the ride
mortal projections
the guitar riffs in twenty twenty are actually orgasmic they rlly made me appreciate joe as an artist when i first heard them.
twenty one pilots just came out with a new song that i loveeee. it's called overcompensate.
im a big the 1975 fan. their first album (the 1975) is one of my all time favorite albums. i really like the deluxe songs on there. my favorites from that album are:
the 1975
settle down

that album is kinda ... melancholy but perfecttt for late nights.
also from the 1975 i would recommend somebody else. one of their more popular songs for a reason.
im a big wallows fan too. my favorite work of theirs is spring EP. from there it's only right is my absolute favorite song. wish me luck is also one of my favorite wallows songs.

New Bern, NC — VoicePlay live performances
Even as they were swiftly approaching the completion of nearly 100 shows at Disney World for the season, VoicePlay popped up to North Carolina for a full holiday concert on the weekend before Christmas.
.
youtube
With the amount of travel Americans tend to do between Thanksgiving and Christmas, this comedic medley is extra relatable during the holiday season. If only all of our family sing-a-longs sounded this good.
Details:
title: Road Trip
original songs / performers: [1:27] "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" by Tiny Tim; [1:45] "Orinoco Flow" by Enya; [2:03] "Cum On Feel the Noize" by Quiet Riot; [3:12] "Big Shot" by Billy Joel; [3:25] "I Wanna Rock" by Twisted Sister; [3:34] "Voices Carry" by ’Til Tuesday; [3:52] "Shout" by Tears For Fears; [4:07] "Why Can't We Be Friends?" by War; [4:17] "That Smell" by Lynyrd Skynyrd; [5:00] "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" by Chicago; [6:25] "We Just Disagree" by Dave Mason; [6:45] "Hello" by Adelle
written by: "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" by Al Dubin & Joe Burke; "Orinoco Flow" by Eithne "Enya" Pádraigín Ní Bhraonáin & Roma Ryan; "Cum On Feel the Noize" by Noddy Holder & Jim Lea; "Big Shot" by Billy Joel; "I Wanna Rock" by Dee Snider; "Voices Carry" by Robert Holmes, Aimee Mann, Michael Hausman, & Joey Pesce; "Shout" by Roland Orzabal & Ian Stanley; "Why Can't We Be Friends?" by Papa Dee Allen, Harold Ray Brown, B.B. Dickerson, Lonnie Jordan, Charles Miller, Lee Oskar, Howard E. Scott, & Jerry Goldstein; "That Smell" by Allen Collins & Ronnie Van Zant; "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" by Peter Cetera & David Foster; "Hello" by Adele Adkins & Greg Kurstin
arranged by: Geoff Castellucci
performance date: 20 December 2015
My favorite bits:
Eli starting to doze off and tip over until he's startled awake by Earl's yelp
Tony using his flowy jacket as a blanket
sleepy Geoff rubbing his eyes as he's rudely awakened by the bickering
Earl's little bunny nose sniffing
the exchange of annoyed watch tapping
Layne almost getting Eli to break with the different interruption
Trivia:
VoicePlay made a professionally filmed version of this medley / skit during the 2014 Sing-Off tour.
Layne usually interrupts with "Royals" by Lorde, but sometimes changes it up, as he does here, to try to make the other guys laugh.
.
youtube
These guys love The Nightmare Before Christmas, and have recorded several songs from its fantastic soundtrack. But this was the first one to join their live show repertoire.
Details:
title: What's This?
original performers: Danny Elfman as Jack Skellington in The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
written by: Danny Elfman
arranged by: Layne Stein
performance date: 20 December 2015
My favorite bits:
those lovely opening harmonies
Tony excitedly getting in everybody's personal space
the alternating pliés and relevés to emulate the carolers' vehicle in the movie
♫ "I might possibly go daffy…" ♫ followed by Layne putting a quack in his percussion line
slo-mo snowball fight!
♫ "cozy in their dre-eam ⇓ laaand ⇓" ♫ "That was weird." "Sorry."
their monster walks as they regroup
that sharp, clean final chord
Trivia:
This song was a staple of their holiday shows for many years, particularly during their Disney World residencies for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
They finally recorded it with J.None for their 2017 holiday EP "Warm Up", and filmed a video to go with it that they released at Halloween of that year.
.
youtube
This bouncy tune is a great way to get an audience dancing in their seats, and VoicePlay alway performs it with gusto. Meet the guys, and hear a little of what they can do.
Details:
title: For Once In My Life
original performer: Stevie Wonder
written by: Ron Miller & Orlando Murden
arranged by: VoicePlay
performance date: 20 December 2015
My favorite bits:
Earl and Tony starting to step-touch together, then just giving in to the groove
everyone else cutting out for Eli's ♫ "won't desert me-e-e" ♫ riff then coming back in behind ♫ "I'm not alone anymore" ♫
everyone getting a moment in the spotlight for an introduction
those jazzy scatting lines leading into the key change
and a lovely ending chord
Trivia:
This song had been part of their live shows since their 4:2:Five days. The earliest clip I've found is from a performance in 2011 when their friend Jarrett Johnson subbed for Ryan.
.
youtube
Listening to this song is certainly a treat, but watching them perform it is at least half the fun. Sometimes friends being a little competitive makes them all better.
Details:
title: Elvira
original performers: The Oak Ridge Boys
written by: Dallas Frazier
arranged by: Geoff Castellucci
performance date: 20 December 2015
My favorite bits:
Tony startling Earl by skittering his fingertips down the back of his head
troublemaker Eli encouraging Earl to take center stage
that glorious pop timbre in Tony's solo
Geoff reclaiming the spotlight with that extra deep ♫ "mow mow" ♫
the "Earl can go low, too" gag is never not funny
the other guys' expectant expressions in the back during the tense final confrontation
and that big ending is always fantastic
Trivia:
This number was a longtime fan favorite staple in their live shows, including the 2015 Sing-Off tour.
Because the visual component of this performance is such an interaction with the audience, they have never filmed a video for it, but there is an audio recording available through their Patreon.
Geoff also helped arrange the version that their pals in Home Free recorded with The Oak Ridge Boys earlier in the year.
.
youtube
Anyone who grew up watching the Rankin-Bass stop-motion animated holiday specials knows these songs. But most people have never heard them quite like this.
Details:
title: Frosty the Snowman & Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
original songs / performers: "Frosty the Snowman" by Gene Autry; "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" by Eddie Cantor
written by: "Frosty the Snowman" by Walter "Jack" Rollins & Steve Nelson; "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" by J. Fred Coots & Haven Gillespie
arranged by: VoicePlay
performance date: 20 December 2015
My favorite bits:
Layne letting his inner kid out during the intro banter
Eli's smooth delivery on the opening lines
the harmonic stacking in ♫ "when they placed it on his head" ♫
those syncopated backing vocals during Earl's "Santa Claus" verse
Eli flailing in the back when the other guys start rapping
that crunchy ending section
Trivia:
The boys started performing this mashup during their 4:2:Five days. The earliest recording I've found is from their stint as castmembers in the Polar Express Conductors holiday show at SeaWorld in 2011. (Go hear Layne sing bass!)
It was a staple of VoicePlay's holiday shows for many years, particularly during their Disney World residencies for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
They recorded a swingier version of "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" with their friend Michael Andrew for their 2012 holiday album "Peppermint Winter".
.
youtube
It can be easy to overlook even the most talented vocal percussionist in an audio mix. Your ears forget that all those beats are coming out of a human body. But those skills are undeniable when he's the only one on stage.
Details:
title: Layne's drum solo
written & arranged by: Layne Stein
performance date: 20 December 2015
My favorite bits:
that initial deep kick
the random squawk
dropping into a half-time groove before transitioning into a more electronic section
♫ "Ding!" ♫
and the big finish
Trivia:
Percussion solos are a time honored tradition among modern a cappella groups. It can also be fun to hear beatboxers' differing styles when they team up as they did during the 2014 and 2015 Sing-Off tours.
When Layne started up again at the end, he was transitioning them into the start of "A Crimpella".
.
youtube
VoicePlay don't just have one crowd-pleasing medley of phonations. They've also got a holiday version. There really are a lot of unusual lyrics in Christmas carols, and these guys make them incredibly fun.
(I think I caught everything, but if I missed a song, please let me know so I can track it down and add it to the list.)
Details:
title: "Most of the Songs" holiday medley
original songs / performers: "Mele Kalikimaka" by Bing Crosby & The Andrews Sisters; [0:06] "Pat-a-pan", French / English carol; [0:08] "Deck the Halls", English carol; [0:14] "Frosty the Snowman" by Gene Autry; [0:18] "Carol of the Bells", English carol; [0:27] "Coventry Carol", English carol; [0:41] "Welcome Christmas" from How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966); [0:55] "Hava Nagila", Jewish folk song; [1:03] "I Have a Little Dreidel", children's Hannukah song; [1:08] "Angels We Have Heard on High", French / English carol; [1:31] "Up on the Housetop" by Gene Autry; [1:38] "Dominick the Donkey" by Lou Monte; [2:00] "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" by Gene Autry; [2:03] "Jingle Bells", American carol; [2:06] "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" from The Nutcracker; [2:38] "We Wish You a Merry Christmas", English carol
written by: "Mele Kalikimaka" by R. Alex Anderson; "Pat-a-pan" by Bernard de La Monnoye; "Deck the Halls" English lyrics by Thomas Oliphant, set to 16th century melody from Welsh carol "Nos Galan"; "Frosty the Snowman" by Walter "Jack" Rollins & Steve Nelson; "Carol of the Bells" English lyrics by Peter Wilhousky, melody from Ukranian New Year's song "Shchedryk" by Mykola Leontovych; "Coventry Carol" 16th century English Christmas carol; "Welcome Christmas" by Albert Hague; "Hava Nagila" by Moshe Nathanson & Abraham Zevi Idelsohn; "I Have a Little Dreidel" English lyrics by Samuel S. Grossman, melody by Samuel E. Goldfarb; "Angels We Have Heard on High" English lyrics by James Chadwick, to the traditional French tune "Gloria" as arranged by Edward Shippen Barnes; "Up on the Housetop" by Benjamin Hanby; "Dominick the Donkey" by Ray Allen, Sam Saltzberg, & Wandra Merrell; "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" by Johnny Marks; "Jingle Bells" by James Lord Pierpont; "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky; "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" modern arrangement by Arthur Warrell
arranged by: VoicePlay
performance date: 20 December 2015
My favorite bits:
Tony's little salsa groove as the beat kicks in
the adorable swaying choreography during "Welcome Christmas"
some Hannukah representation for the two Jewish band members
Geoff's robust "ho ho ho" 🎅
Earl's wonderful braying for "Dominick the Donkey"
Eli's exaggerated air bass at the start of "Sugar Plum"
that final descending drum fill from Layne
Trivia:
This medley also dates back to their 4:2:Five era and the SeaWorld Polar Express Conductors show. (Go hear Geoff beatbox!)
It was a staple of VoicePlay's holiday shows for many years, particularly during their Disney World residencies for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Hi Em! I haven’t had a lot of eggnog but I have fairly decent memories of it. However I was thinking of picking some up at the store a few weeks back so now I’ll have to give it another shot! Also I would definitely want reputation merch too: I dream of the snake ring and the end game peach hoodie.
For today, fun little game idea: if you had to make a christmas ep with five of your favorite (or most tolerated) holiday songs and five favorite artists to cover them, which songs would you match with which artists? As an example, here’s what I’d do:
1. Last Christmas - Rina Sawayama (she’d absolutely sell this)
2. Sleigh Ride - boygenius (I can’t explain this one but it’d be so sweet)
3. Silent Night - Stevie Nicks (just came to me but I need it now)
4. Rockin Around the Christmas Tree - Beyoncé! (I feel like her riffs would be awesome)
5. All I Want for Christmas is You - Taylor (obviously she is not making a Mariah remake but I think she could put a really warm country spin on this! Imagine the earnestness of Timeless/Emma Falls in Love and the sounds of Debut)
This is a long one but I’d love to see what you come up with. And I hope you had a nice day! — your secret santa, ☃️
hi secret santa bestie!!! I much prefer vegan nog to the real thing also works better in frosting in my opinion and I can add some (vegan) milk to cut it so it's not so thick (I don't do that for frosting just when I drink it) it's a fun time. also saur true endgame peach hoodie u are so so so missed but I think I'd wear the black one more u know? but that's just me ur so valid for the endgame peach hoodie I hope u get it some day!!! also same re snake ring such an iconic piece of merch!!
this is such an interesting game hmmm....
I think that sabrina carpenter would absolutely feast covering all santa tell me so that would be fun!!
I think olivia rodrigo would so such a fun rock version of rockin around the christmas tree but I do agree that beyoncé would Kill rockin around the christmas tree I just think w olivia's rock sound a la all american bitch it would go so hard for her u know???
I think that stephen sanchez could do a pretty rockin little saint nick a la his song shake. that would be fun. or he could do a super croony version of it's beginning to look a lot like christmas and I'd love that also!!!!
idk why I put him at fourth this out of order bc it is in the order I am thinking of them noah kahan should absolutely cover glittery by kacey musgraves he'd kill it so hard.
taylor should cover the jo bro's like it's christmas just to take it from joe but also she'd have such a fun time w it I think and then I could replace that version on my playlist with hers skdjgdkjgh
bonus song even tho it just came out conan gray could feast singing buy me presents by sabrina carpenter or cindy lou who!!!
this was a fun game!!!! and I hope u had a good day and u get some nog soon!!! u can always just get one cup without any other milk at starbucks and make sure u like it before u invest in a pint. my struggle is no one else in my house likes it like I wish I could get two chocolate milk box containers full and not a full pint bc I always have too much left 😭but I also need the nog this time of year 😭 anyways I hope u get some soon!!! sorry I responded to this so late bestie <3

for appearing in the fourth episode of NEXT GEN, all wannabes who submitted their participation may collect points as outlined on this spreadsheet. points were awarded based on the writing requirements submitted and the optional extra threads. no verification is required; you may link back to this post on your spreadsheets.
for the final episode of NEXT GEN, participants were once gain split into three teams to perform original songs in wannabe canon. just like last year, members were voted into each team by the audience in-character. the finale will be a live event broadcasted on television in real time while a live audience enjoys the performances at a small to medium-sized concert hall.
the live audience will vote on their favorite performances once the final group has finished. a combination of the judges’ evaluation and the audience votes will determine the final winners of the competition. the top three finalists will be offered a ‘universal’ contract and the option to sign to any of the three companies that they desire. runner-ups will be offered contracts from one company, depending on the judges’ discretion and if there are contestants that they feel will suit their company’s training program and future plans well.
once again, coaches are not to inform the creative process but to leave those decisions up to the contestants they’re advising. instead, they should act as mentors and answer questions and provide guidance in shaping the contestants’ visions. coaches will NOT be performing alongside the contestants.

Mug Watch: Series 25!
With a slight break from the normality, I did happen to spot 4 appearances whilst flicking through (there would have been more but I only watched/capped the Smithy/Max/Leon featuring eps this series so there'll have been episodes where mugs appears but none of those three did so I didn't rewatch - yet!). Terry's are from the same episode - Forensic Evidence whereas Nate is from Broken Hearts and In The Know.
Back with the real reason we're all here...!
The first episode of the series brought the first mug appearance of the year! The Morning After!
Not only that, it's a new mug that appears to have pictures of players on it! He's branching out!
We don't see anything else until Deal Me Out - the 20th episode of the series. Unfortunately just a boring vending machine mug!
In the 28th episode, Old Habits where Diane returns for a shift before she transfers to Barton St as a Sgt has Smithy's white mug with the shield back out in use.
Though we're back to vending machine cups in To Live For 7 episodes later (that should be 35 on the cap not 25).
In Absolute Power, Smithy takes Stevie to a local cafe for lunch when she's struggling with a case and needs some space from the station. He also ends up with two puddings! 🤣❤
The conviction episodes amused me purely for the sheer fact he's got a cup in his hand for 3 out of the 6 episodes and there's a super smashing surprise appearance in the 5th without Smithy so that's an appearance for 2/3's of the episodes 😂😂 Callum brings him a vending machine tea in Cover Up, he brings cups for almost everyone in the briefing in To The Limit, in Breaking Point he's drinking a special Afghani tea at the community center and in Riot City the white mug with shield appears in his locker during a naughty locker search (with the shield not showing! boo!)
There's two takeaway/vending machine cups that appear in That's Love For You. If you look in the 1st picture at his lapels you can notice we've also had a promotion! Smithy is now an Inspector!
and for the final appearance of the series in Show Of Force. Unfortunately due to the crap set up of the camera this is the best shot of it - the white mug with the shield!
Bit of a disappointing set all round with only 3 appearances (not counting the locker room one in the 5th ep of Conviction) of an actual official Smithy!mug!
