nethalia is simply going to sit herself on mammon's lap and press a cheeky little kiss to the tip of his nose.  if he wants a proper one it seems he'll have to take it himself~

Soft and seemingly innocent kisses were a surefire way to fluster the greedy demon, but he knew better than to assume that one was all she wanted. They both craved more. One would never be enough, and he could tell by the way she quickly pulled away that she aimed to tease.

“Ya ain’t gettin’ away with just that.” He took her chin between his fingers, pulled her closer and slated his lips against hers. Mammon knew he didn’t have to hide his sin from her — rather than ask for her to part those pretty lips, he slipped his tongue past and took exactly what he wanted. Her breath, her surprise, any desire that she might have for more.

Then he too pulled away, head turning to the side to prevent her from meeting his lips again.

“Ya happy now?”

[Sarah @ either Mams or Beel] Groaning softly, Sarah finally moves for the first time in over 24 hours, rolling onto her side, a hand flying out and smacking another. Taking her time, she slowly cracks one eye open. She manages a smile, then lets her eye close once more. "Hiya handsome." Voice coarse and sleep-filled, she was not doing a good job of hiding her tiredness and pain. "How long was I out?" She asks casually, as if she hadn't just done something impossible.

“Ow——!!” Normally, Mammon would have growled something fierce after being smacked on the nose, but he would let it slide just this once because it was far more important to him that he see her awake and well. The mounting worry had become unbearable after two hours of sitting at her bedside, and had become something else entirely after a whole day. Seeing her eyes open for half a second was all he needed for those annoyingly thick knots in his chest and stomach to instantly loosen.

Mammon wiggled his smarting nose and reached out to take the hand that had offended him. Her weak fingers were given a single squeeze, but behind the gesture broiled so many emotions: gratitude, awe, anger and relief.

“Hey, treasure. Ya just woke up and ya still managed to lay one on me.” He forced a laugh, but it was hollow and weak.

“A whole day,” answered Beelzebub from behind his brother, “Mammon was worried.”

“I was not!” Mammon scowled and made to deepen his argument, but he couldn’t find the usual fire that fueled his need to keep himself safe, to keep himself away from his more vulnerable side. Instead, he felt his irritation simmer into nothing. “I mean, I might have been a little worried.  .  .”

“You passed out after——” Beelzebub trailed off, the fingers of one hand anxiously rubbing at the inside of his wrist. He squeezed the joint, but no amount of pressure would stop the fluttering in his chest. “After you let us see her.”

“Yeah, what the hell? It was nice of ya t’do that, but why’d you gotta go and pass out? We thought — I don’t wanna say what we thought. Lucifer’s the one that told us you’d be fine, but it was scary seein’ you all limp and not wakin’ up.”

Beelzebub came to stand beside his older brother, both of them keeping their eyes on her. “Thank you for letting us see her. Belphie wanted to say something too, but Lucifer said we shouldn’t crowd your room. I think what you did, it helped. We got to say what we couldn’t before, and now we know she’s alright.”

“Ya realize ya got a bunch’a demons in your debt now, right?” Mammon slumped against the edge of her bed, chin resting on their linked hands. “None of us are gonna know how t’pay ya back for what ya did. But y’know what I think? I think ya gotta stay past the whole exchange student thing! We need time t’think of ways to thank ya, and a year ain’t near enough.”

Beside him, Beelzebub nodded adamantly.

“While you’re recovering, we’re gonna go talk to Lucifer. Maybe he can get through t’Diavolo and we can work somethin’ out!” Mammon was reluctant to wiggle his hand out of hers, but he had a mission. Beelzebub was already on his way to the door, his back to both of them.

“We need to tell him she’s awake first.”

“Yeah, yeah. I know. Oh, hey! Beel, do ‘er a favor and bring ‘er some food! She hadn’t eaten in a while, y’know? She’s probably starving.”

“Good idea. I’m on it!” Beelzebub left the room in a hurry, knowing as well as anyone that a day without food was unacceptable. But while he hustled to the kitchen, Mammon took that chance to lean down and plant a soft but quick kiss to Sarah’s cheek.

“Seriously, thanks. Ya didn’t have t’do that, but ya did. I know we’re a handful and cause you a load of headaches, but we’re glad we got ya around.” A second kiss was placed just shy of her lips. “Don’t go doin’ somethin’ dumb like that again. We ain’t ready t’lose ya yet. I ain’t ready.  .  .”
