discount.

something is happening in the streets of hongdae. touma hadn't expected the growing crowd when he came over with @beseira for their own pity party post next gen. his throat is a little sore, from all the singing he had done in an attempt to let out his frustrations into the world instead of letting them bubble up inside him. that being said, he did notice how his voice is a lot more stable now—he's a lot more in-tune than he thought. that's all thanks to next gen, of course.

that's over and done with now though, and now he's back outside with his friend, wondering whether there's an event happening right now. apparently, there is an array of stalls selling items at a discounted price. touma's ears—recalling his budget of a broke college student—perks up the moment he hears the word discount.

"we should stick around!" he tells seira, speaking in their native tongue still. "we deserve to splurge a little, after what we went through." touma insists, a smile on his face. "everything is on discount, who knows how lucky we'll get today?" touma doesn't exactly know seira's financial situation, but he has an inkling that they aren't too far off from one another.

"let me know if you find something interesting, today we're hunting together." he makes it sound so serious—but considering his thinning wallet, honestly, touma is 100% serious about this. he doesn't even know what all these discounts are for—he just wants in on it.

discounts makes me smile

seira didn’t shop often, things were simply too expensive and being a barista doesn’t exactly make you rich. seira loved shopping, with her whole heart, but the money were not in her pocket. majority of seira’s money went to food and rent, a small part of it to other stuff and some to save. seira had saved up money, and upon hearing of the event and the discounts, she figured she could use some of the money she had.

she finds herself with fellow friend sua, a smile sitting on her lips. “it seems like they’re going around interviewing people about love and such” seira says as she looks around, seira herself had never even had a crush before (yes she had, she just didn’t know it was a crush) so she didn’t know much about that. “i’m here for the discounts though” she adds, “wanna go around and look? i’m so excited with all these discounts” and the smile on her lips grow.

"did you see that dress over there? it was on sale for 50%!"

eunbin couldn't help her eyes from darting here and there as everything was pretty much on sale. when she first heard about the event, she didn't think it'd be too exciting. a dating web variety show? it wasn't up her alley, but these discounted prices were.

that's why she had contacted seira to join her on a shopping spree. "i'm trying not to stop at like every store. you have to stop me, okay?" with that, eunbin let out another squeal as she stopped to take a look at the window of another store. with summer approaching, there were many adorable outfits on sale.

it was useless to buy so many since she usually wore her training attire around this time of the year. however, she couldn't stop herself from wanting to. "i don't even need that dress, but i really want it."

nora regards the other girl evenly, hardly in the mood to let her own aura sour for the day. thankfully, seira seems to be in a rather chipper state of mind ( not that the older was ever negative, per se . . . well, at least she usually isn't when nora first finds her ). today was meant to offer a break of sorts from the usual chaos nora found herself living through on a regular basis. in that regard, the younger figured she could play nice for now, easing ever so slightly as to not speak with her usual cool bite— they were in public, after all, and the prospect of her short fuse being captured by the cameras wandering around the space was not on her list of things to accomplish. pursing her lips slightly, free hand lifting to remove the sunglasses that'd be perched comfortably atop the bridge of her nose and moving it to now sit on her head, nora sets her gaze firmly on seira. "well, that's rather unfortunate. it's annoying when others cancel at the last second," she concedes, looking to find common ground. "i met up with someone here earlier, but they couldn't stay for very long, so now i'm just wandering around." taking a sip of her coffee, nora steps off to the side briefly as a jacket catches her attention ( real vintage leather, possibly a good find considering it's not too beat ). as she examines the piece closer, she continues. "it's been a while since i've last seen you— what have you been up to lately?" nora knows, vaguely, but she doesn't feel like making assumptions today.

seira was quite ready to meet with friends again, though majority of the contestants during next gen had been nice and they now had become her friends, next gen never felt like a place where you had time for friends. she’d been working so hard, and she was tired. she now knew she wanted to be an idol again, so she had to find somewhere to practice dance, for now though, her legs needed a break from all that dancing, once next gen ended, seira used a whole day of just laying in her bed.

she shrugs “it was definitely disappointing, but i’m sure they had a good reason” or at least she hopes so. something in seira often fears that people don’t even want to be among her, that she’s boring, she’s never had many friends, but this past year she’s made quite a few. “enjoying all the discounts?” she asks. “ah actually, i joined a survival show, have you heard of next gen?” she runs a hand through her hair “i made it to the finale, but, i’m still stuck as a barista” she shrugs.

V-day remembrance

Being able to look all over her gifts in her room, Seira was remembering so vital things from her journey of giving everyone a gift so they knew she was thinking of them and place a smile on their face.

Myrrh was a sweetheart, even if the chocolate was bitter what was important was her heart was in the right place as well as well she made sure to place the small lynx plush Pram given her on the bed. Oh, just thinking of how Ansel was so surprised about the gift with that look on his face. She had to smile to now a simple gift can be effective!

Of course, all the smiles she did make lighten up her face as well. Ambriel, Bagpipe, Eyjafjalla, Exusiai, Cardigan, she saw a smile on Talulah’s face she thinks. . . kinda! it was sure something! She may need to tell Brionac about V-day for next time.

Then there was W. . . So, yeah, there’s was her. . .

Closure giving her a box. . .Huh, taking a bite of one she feel her sanity restored by a small amount. Who knew recovering metal sanity was so easy?! plus a discounts regardless discounts are always good! Then there was that “get out of jail card” from silk . What could that honestly mean?!.  She also gotta have to be more careful with Reed.

Speaking of being careful. Those times she had to bolt. . . She swears she shiver when she notice a certain someone behind her well at least she has protection. Then she looked as those cookies with icing. . .YES! Although with Ace she felt he may say something to her later. . .

Giving chocolates to Crownslayer? Of course that was a smart choice, at least that’s what Seira thought. Well, Crownslayer did gift something back so that reinforce how smart she is!

To think Rope would lay of the teasing- wait, oh no it has been a day or two already she should be careful now! and Castle-3 sure was a gentlebot buying her a drink even as she ask for something more fruity with lots of cherries. She was relieve to know that Hibiscus was alright. . . Thank goodness. Thinking of her, she should open that blue box on her desk.

Seira was thoughtful for many, no matter what so she of course had to give Alena. Hopefully that bought some joy to her day. Oh and there was spot, glad that chocolate was fine with him! . . . She felt bad about Dobermann, she completely forgot that she was allergic to chocolates. Did she knew in the first place. . . REGARDLESS! She better remember for next time!

She of course have to give the other Doctors a gift too! Like Doctor Kramer! They all do their hard work in their own way so of course they should be thought of as well! She couldn’t believe she thought that Not Doctor. . . She meant riptide’s gift was an actual slug for a moment. You know since she thinks the only doctor that would eat slug is Weird Doctor. As well Doctor Cinder, to think she was think of Doctor Seira as well how thoughtful! Even Weird Doctor got her something and what she got she felt like she got REALLY lucky from a gacha machine! SHE GOT A 6* TIER GIFT SURELY!

Indra. . . Well, Seira was glad she didn’t went out and show of her muscles because she swore she thought she would do such a thing. Lava seemed pleased well. . . she did say thank you. And Bison, she couldn’t tell him then and she was sure he would learn what she had meant. . . maybe. He’ll be fine!

Every time she sees Jessica she gets the feeling of patting her head and wanting to make sure she’s okay. . .B-but she couldn’t just do that! Still at least some chocolate was something! Something was indeed a word she would described when she was giving Warfarin Chocolates. . . Her eyes glance her being a little close but she turned tail since there was many others she had to give chocos too! Like Folinic . . . Seeing her go back to work reminded her of how focus on work Kal’tist is.

The Doctor avoided answering Ignis’ question about money . . . It would be for the best. Oh, and Liskarm if only she knew after she saw Seira who was all that determined and passed out in front of Kal’tist who was last. . . She now wonders if anyone was aware of that. . .

Of course in cases like Sussurro Seira didn’t need anything back! After all this was for them not for herself! Still she was surprised how quickly Vermeil took those chocolates and unwrapping them.

With Balroth she didn’t need that half-nugget  but perhaps it would be rude not to accept it. She would shake the girl’s hand happily and tell her thanks. Still she oped that Balroth was happy with the gift. Oh hey and she got that 20% discount. . . Remember discounts are always good! A wild saying came out of Zima, after all Seira just thought of making everyone happy. . . Like popukar, hopefully she will eat the chocolates before they go bad or melt. Speaking of melting she couldn’t help but chuckle from Ifrit’s words and learning everyone is getting something. At least fire wasn’t caused. . . Again. Oh yeah and there was Faust just taking zooming off with the gift. Wonder what he planned to do after leaving like that. While shining and nightingale seemed to her thankful for their gifts.

It’s was nice to know Rosa was thinking of the other girls, a reliable big-sister like is what Seira thought of her. While Seira remembering that hug from Mudrock was a nice. . . oh wait, she remembers since she could still feel it. As well, to think Texas would offer her a pocky stick! She had to accept that! Actually, does Texas and Ambriel get pocky from the same place? Then with Skadi, Seira hopes that she will enjoy the gift!

Although she was quite worried when thinking about Asbestos, after all she bought those chocolates en masse! At least Istiglal was happy with the gift and her card was warm heartening. While Nian was really enthusiastic and her chocolates really didn’t make her worried if she can get used to FrostNova’s candies- Seira placed her hand to where her heart is as, just thinking back she felt her heart warm up, her hand going onto her cheek that was kissed and her eyes looking to the drawing that she place above her desk. Oh no her eyes are starting to water, don’t cry Seira! she told herself! Shaking it off, she prevented tears to fall down! Ah right! The box of chocolates Grani given her, it was nice to see she was happy but gosh! Seira was just SO TEMPTED to give her pineapples covered in chocolate. . . Some other time. Magallan grin was really reassuring that she was happy about the gift and Gavial was thankful for it at least. But. . . Greythroat’s question, no. . . she wasn’t worried since she believed no one would have. No matter what it was her goal to give everyone a gift and if someone got upset she will deal with it directly. With Ch’en she was just thankful she accepted the gift, Seira didn’t need a present back. . . Maybe Ch’en could use a little more rest she was awfully tired although is that anything new? Ah right, and that red velvet cake slice that Hoshiguma given her made the Doctor lick her own lips. She was right that Seira indeed like her cakes and other sweet goods. Hoshiguma also gave that Big Sister feel. . . Especially when she picked her up some time ago. Oh right! Saria oh gosh. . . She was stricken was surprised with her offer instead of chocolates. She. . . So she ask her politely if she could undertake a Risk 18 mission since she needed someone to help with that. Then she remembers the times where she felt her heart pounding, the first being with Gravel pulling her close to her and have them do a dance. Her face cover had came off during it, revealing the full blush that was on the Doctor’s face, the surprise look her red eyes was given the assassin while her long blue hair hang down. With all of sudden a rose stem in her mouth after a kiss! SO SMOOTH! HOW COULD HER HEART NOT BE POUNDING AFTER THAT! Her maiden heart was calling for more but she had to resist as she still needed to give gifts to others. . .! . . .Then there was Silverash and his own way of being smooth! He’s like some. . . like some. . . smooth criminal! The feel of his hand holding onto the edge of her fingertips and even when he let go she froze in place for only a short moment. All she could do was tell him she hoped he enjoys the chocolates and runs off! and while there was the smooth moments, there was the moment that made her. . . Lose some blood as it leak down her nose. That was Blaze who was laying on the table being wrapped by only pink ribbons and her words, the winking of her eye, the wriggling of her eyebrows and hips! If Elysium hadn’t come in she would had shed her mask and enjoyed some heated time with Blaze! OH GOD, HER NOISE IS BLEEDING AGAIN! She looked at the cake with the latter, the necklace Elysium given her she may just wear when she’s in her more causal clothing, and tasty berry choco from Lappland among the other bad of chocolates. of course, there was other moments but gosh. . . the loss of blood and the pounding of her heart made it quite hard to remember more.

water is a necessity

seira was quite excited for the waterbomb festival, ready to listen to music, sing at the top of her lungs, she’d even gathered together some money for merch. she was happy about all that nemo’s dream a while ago that had made all of those discounts happen, because now she had new clothes she could use for the festival. she’d taken her time deciding on an outfit, done her makeup with waterproof makeup, worn her signature pigtails she wore a lot as an idol and during next gen.

she stuffs a big bite of kimbap into her mouth, leaning her head back and closing her eyes as she enjoys it. “man, i really needed some food” she says before properly swallowing the big bite she took. “and you? isn’t it good to get some food in our bellies?” she smiles to jiayi. “y’know, some day, that’ll be us standing on that stage” she points at the stage before taking another bite of her kimbap. “i’ve never had a kimbap this good, but i’ve also never been this hungry”.

spray and aim

this were the first concerts seira had ever gone to, unless you count watching the performances backstage during music shows as a concert. the only concerts seira had ever attended were, well, her own, but now her group had disbanded, and seira had the time to go to concerts. while she was happily chasing the idol dream, she valued the things she could do now, that she couldn’t do once she made it big (of course, if that’ll ever happen), like going out without getting recognized. watching the performances, she can only hope that some day she’ll be performing on that scene.

it’s to her luck that all that nemo’s dream and the discounts didn’t happen too far ago, because she got some new clothes for summer, so now she can feel pretty for the event. she has her hair in pigtails, makeup done with waterproof makeup that she desperately hopes will work and a dress filled with flowers along with a pair of high heels.

for today, she’s gone alone, she purchased a watergun, though not sure who to use it on, so far, the only person she has sprayed is herself, as when she tried to figure out how it worked, she accidentally sprayed it directly into her face (oh does she hopes her makeup is surviving). “jay?!” she asks as she walks through the crowd, surprised to spot a familiar face. “did you get sprayed yet?” she asks, aiming her watergun at the other though somehow managing to spray on a stranger instead. “ah, i’m sorry!” she says. “i can’t figure out these waterguns”.

the joy of discounts

during the first months after her group’s disbandment, seira had been used to being very alone, the only people she met was coworkers and customers at the café she worked at. it was tough, and seira desperately tried making friends, during next gen, seira realized just how much she missed hanging out with her new friends. though sure, next gen had given seira some new friends, seira missed hanging out with people and relaxing and having fun, next gen was far from fun and even further away from relaxing.

“i’ve missed hanging out with you” she turns to look at riha, a smile sitting on seira’s lips. “a shopping day is just what i needed after next gen, that show tired me out, i deserve to buy something that will let me smile”. “are you looking for anything in particular riha?” she looks around “it sure does look like there’s a lot of discounts to check out today”.

waterbomb challenge

"attempt and try"

seira generally wasn’t much active on social media, she had her twitter and instagram, though not very active on either. she’d opened them up upon sugar time’s disbandment, wanting a way to communicate with her fans, but she’d been busy with work, with being sad, with figuring out what to do with her life. after next gen though, she wanted to be more active, wanted her number of supporters to rise, she after all now knew she wanted to be an idol again.

upon hearing about this challenge, or whatever you would call it, she decided to open up a tik tok account, joining the waterbomb challenge as her first video. it was a bit difficult finding somewhere to practice, living in an apartment and not wanting to upset the ones living beneath. at last she had decided to practice out in public, not where a lot of people walked, but she attempted to find places that didn’t have a lot of people. it was a bit hard to practice without any mirrors, so she recorded her process and adjusted what needed to be changed.

upon finally learning the dance, she wanted to look good for the video, so she dressed up a bit, did her makeup, put her hair in her usual pigtails, put on some of the clothes she bought during the nemo’s dream discounts. she filmed a couple of times before finally being happy with the result, and at last, she clicked post.

next gen had come to an end and seira needed something to take her brain away from the thought of next gen. though the show had ended, it had not left seira’s mind, she often wondered what she could’ve done better, what she did wrong, it was a thought that occupied her mind a lot, and to be honest it was annoying, the show had come to an end so why was it still such a big part of her life? work helped with distracting her, but when it was her free time the thoughts of next gen haunted her mind. 

to seira’s luck, something came which could at least distract her, it was shopping time. it was some love event for some variety show, but seira didn’t care for that, no what mattered were all the discounts. seira wasn’t exactly the richest, she didn’t have much money saved from her idol days nor was working in a café making her rich, so she didn’t shop much, but with all the discounts, she wanted to spoil herself. “eeek! sana, i’m too excited, look at all these discounts!” a big smile sits on her lips “i’m going to have used all my money at the end of the day” she says as she turns to look at the other.

for a little bit off

seira had never had much care for christmas, sometimes she’d gift friends presents, but she didn’t do much beside that. it was nice with all the lights, the joyful atmosphere. she hadn’t held christmas with her family in a while, and in her time here in korea she’d been too busy to put much thought and care into the holiday. she didn’t dislike christmas, it just wasn’t her thing… yet. she wanted to grow fond of christmas, it was a joyful holiday, and this year she wasn’t busy. she still wasn’t sure who to celebrate christmas with, but for now, she’d enjoy this christmas market event.

she’s not sure if it was her or eunwol’s idea, or maybe they mutually came up with it, but for the market, some of the things had a discount on it for couples. seira wasn’t dating nor had she ever dated before, but eunwol and seira decided on acting as a couple to get the discounts. 

“okay so, there’s a spa that sells creams too, there’s some creams i’d really like to get, so we gotta pretend to be a couple for the discounts” she nods, “how do we do this…? do we just hold hands ooor…” seira’s nonexistent knowledge on dating was really showing.
