as per my last post you can probably tell something bad happened and it did. i called K to confirm and it turns out my history teacher passed away.

she was such a wonderful human being she made class so fun and she read percy jackson and let us cite the books in our papers about greek mythology and she grew up in greece and liked lemons and had a skeleton leg in her class she told us was the leg of a student who didn't turn in his term paper on time.

the funeral is tomorrow morning, K said he'll pick my up bc i have no idea how to get to the place. so some good.

honestly wtf.

she wasn't even that old but she died in her sleep of a heart attack. she didn't feel anything. why? why her? why now? just why???

K was really shocked too he said he didn't believe it either. she's older than him but not drastically like he admitted he feels 'a little less immortal'

and i'm really shaken bc someday i'm going to get a call that K died and he'll just be gone forever and i'll never speak to him or laugh with him or ask him what the hell happened between him and my mom or have him say something dumb at the exact right moment or hear another dad joke or see his stupid nerdy shirts. never thought i'd have someone i hope i die before.

gotta be honest i cried while on the phone with him and he kept going on about how 'that's life' but why? like no. it's not fair. it's just not fair.

& heaven deals in absolutes! theres no such thing as a demotion. there would be no removal of his crown. if he failed at the role he was assigned, he would be killed
