(Would be curious to see specifics in tags also like: race + if you like or dislike it, and if they've done darker skin tones any justice.)
(Also I'm so sorry in advance to anyone suffering, I don't think it helps much when you're attached to your character as they are, but soft reminder they're giving a free fantasia with DT.)

well, I just got polls and thought I would experiment with what that's like and now I regret my choices because now I actually want to know the real answers
(also I would personally choose Patricia C. Wrede as a gateway despite having been read Lewis and Tolkien before I turned seven on the grounds that Wrede was what made me want to read more of my own accord)

Now for science (and this is completely optional) could you pair your choice with your broad generational category in the tags or comments of this post (ie baby boomers, gen x, millennial, gen z, gen alpha).
I’m curious to see if there’s any correlation between preferred writing methods and generational periods since technology has rapidly changed over the last 40 years. And whether the methods used in childhood stick with us in some way.
I’m aware that the tumblr pool is likely skewed towards the younger categories.
I’ll start: I’m a millennial who prefers writing by hand. Stories just come through a lot easier for me through that method. Way less mental barriers.
I wonder if I’m a bit of an outlier because I was a late adopter of the smart phone (got my first well into my twenties). I was “too cool for tech.” 🤓
